i'm so sick of seeing people comment please update. even if you add 'not to rush you' or some utter bullshit like that, you're still asking for an update. it's come to the point where i'm utterly pissed off. to ask for an update, is a simple thing for a reader.

but for a writer?

many things.

to ask for an update, is to subconsciously pressure a writer. pressuring a writer, no matter how politely you ask, is shit. we have things to do beside write. for me? i'm starting the gcse curriculum next school year, and i need to prepare. for americans, it's like a really big test in britain that is very important.

to ask a writer to update is shit. we get writers block, we get uninspired. for around a week, i wasn't inspired to write my pjo fanficitons at all. i physically couldn't even look at it without just being like 'no'. writing is difficult. as any writer would understand. finding the time to write is hard too. finding the time to even write is difficult. and pressuring a writer is horrible.

sometimes it's hard to write in general. and sometimes i get overwhelmed and can't write. you don't know what's going on with a writer. you don't know what's going on with us. you don't know how hard it is for somebody to write. i won't say this again, because i shouldn't need to. i shouldn't have even needed to waste an hour of my day saying this. but i've had to.
