"When are you going to introduce me to your friend?" Nico glanced to his left, giving his best friend a questioning look. "Can you be a bit more specific?" Lewis rolls his eyes, really not wanting to speak her name because he'd be teased about it again. "Kalliope Yeong-Su. When are you going to introduce me to her?" He asked, and Nico swore this was the 30th time he asked this question. "I thought you already met her. She was literally in karting with us," he said.
"Yeah, but it was only for a three months and she went out of her way to ignore me. What for? I still have no idea." Lewis said, and the blonde knew he was still offended by it even if it was years ago. "Well, she's here in Monaco, I could invite her to the race," Nico suggests, shrugging carelessly. Lewis's eyes widened, "why didn't you just say that sooner? Now I feel like an obsessed stalker."
Nico shoots him a pointed look, causing Lewis to grab a pillow and throw it at the blonde. "Don't say a word."
He chuckles and grabs his phone, dialing a number, "whoa, whoa, why are you calling her?" Lewis questions in alarm, maybe just nervous to hear her voice. "She doesn't answer texts." He explained before the call picked up and Lewis held a pillow close to him for comfort. Her voice finally came in and it was clear she had just woken up. "Who is it? I don't have my glasses on," she mumbled, searching her nightstand for the prescription glasses.
"It's Nico. Check under your bed," he said knowingly.
She reached under the bed and grabbed the pair of glasses, "ah, you know me so well. To what do I owe this pleasure, Britney?" She smiled tiredly, laying back on the bed and tugging the covers over her. "If you're still in Monaco for another day, would you mind coming to the race tomorrow?" He requested, his friend giving him an encouraging nod. "Oh, I almost forget about that, stupid fucking hangover. Uh, yes, my sister was invited to Red Bull garage so that's actually why I'm in Monaco."
"Great, so I'll see you tomorrow?" Nico asked with a smile, of course she was hungover again.
"Yes, you will. Better win for me," Kallie hums in delight, causing Nico to smile brightly, but Lewis wasn't too pleased with her words, especially because of how flirtatious they sounded. "I'll do my best. Call me on your way there tomorrow." Kallie nods even though he couldn't actually see her, "yes ma'am." She says jokingly before hanging up, she could only imagine the sassy eye roll he did.
"What was that?" Lewis questions, furrowing his brows in confusion and a bit of disgust.
"What? I invited her to the race like you wanted," Nico shrugs, not seeing anything wrong because that was the most normal conversation he would get from the girl. "Yes, but you guys were clearly flirting. How you gonna do me like that? I had my eyes on her first. She's mine." He said defensively. Nico raised a brow at the sudden defensiveness from his best friend. "She's not an object you can claim, Lewis. And she flirts with everyone, she's a very flirtatious person."
"She never flirted with me before," Lewis mumbles with hints of jealousy.
"Maybe you're just not her type," Nico suggests, only to receive an offended look. "I'm not her type? That's just offensive." Lewis scoffs, crossing his arms over his chest. "What's offensive?" They looked over to see Anthony walk in, confusion settled on his features. "He's offended because I suggested that he's not Kallie's type," Nico answered with a smirk. Anthony chuckles, glancing over to his son who held a sour face. "Well, she hasn't shown any interest, so maybe he's right."
"Dad? Come on, you don't actually believe that. She just needs to give me one chance and I'll cherish her forever," Lewis expressed, his father smiling at the way he talked about this girl he had never even spoke to before. "One day you're gonna have to move on from Kallie, and find someone who's actually interested in you. Kallie is not a settling type. She's a party girl. She doesn't date, not since Kimura," Nico stated.
"I think moving on from her is physically and mentally impossible. Have you seen her? She's hypnotizing." Lewis expressed, his dazed off as she flooded his thoughts.

"Oh, my gosh, your little bump is so cute," Kallie awed, watching as her sister tugged off her sweater. "It's cute until I'm getting kicked in the bladder," Keziyah mumbled, grabbing another big sweater to cover the bump because she did not need the world to know she was pregnant. "I want a baby," Kallie mumbled, rubbing her sister's bump with a small smile, the thought of having her own bump making her happy.
"You will, when the time is right. Just gotta follow God's plan." Keziyah said, patting her sister's tattooed hand. "Excited to see Baba, and Uncle Sang at work?" Kallie asked, grabbing her heels and sliding them on. Their Uncle Sang worked for Red Bull as an engineer, and their father Jae-hyun worked for Mercedes as head engineer. "More like they're excited to see us at their work," Kez chuckles, sitting back down.
JhenΓ© walked in with two pairs of heels, "which ones should I wear?"
"Ooh, the red is cute. But the orange suits your skin better," Keziyah answered. Kallie nods in agreement, "I completely agree. Wear the orange. You can borrow my McLaren jacket too." She stood up and ran over to the suitcase on the floor, pulling out her custom McLaren jacket. JhenΓ© smiled and took it, "thank you, it's so pretty. Who's the 44 again? I'm so bad with numbers?" She asked, pulling it on.
"Uh, 44 is Lewis Hamilton. I wanted to wear it to spite Nicole but it'll look better on you." Kallie says, grabbing her Mercedes jacket that had Nico's number on it.
"What happened with Nicole?" JhenΓ© questions, sitting down to put on the heels.
"When everyone found out Kez would be at the race, fans kept saying how good Kez and Lewis would look together and Nicole liked some shady ass tweets about sis, so I wanted to wear that to piss her off." Kallie explained, chuckling to herself. "And they were only insinuating that we'd look good as friends, because I'm already with Mike, so she was being a bitch for no reason," Kez added, pulling on her Red Bull jacket that was gifted to her by Sebastian Vettel.
"I heard they broke up again so she was just bein' messy," Ariana comments as she entered the bedroom, walking over to Kallie's suitcase to grab her Ferrari jacket.
"Messy and embarrassing," Merida added, sitting herself down next to JhenΓ©.
"Anyone who speaks against us, shall fall," Kallie stated with a wife smirk, the girls nodding in agreement with her statement. "Oh, my God, I forget to tell you. Nico is taking me on a hot lap when I get there. And I asked if he could get Lewis to take JhenΓ© for one and he said yes." Kallie grinned, her best friend letting out an excited squeal. "Seriously? You're the best ever!" JhenΓ© jumped up to hug the driver.
"I know you've had the biggest crush on him so I had to do something or you'd never make a move," Kallie said teasingly, her friend blushing as she sat back down onto the floor. "After all these years, you better make a move," Merida said, shaking her friend excitedly. "I know, I know. This time I will. I'm gonna make a move. I'll ask for his number after lap and hopefully he gives it to me," JhenΓ© said nervously.
"That man would be insane if he didn't," Ariana stated, giving her friend a boost of confidence.
"Driver is here, let's get going," Kez says, quickly standing up and grabbing her purse. They exit the hotel and got into the car, their driver taking them to the track, which wasn't super far. Arriving there, Kez, Kallie, and JhenΓ© were led to the Red Bull garage as Ariana and Merida were invited to the Ferrari garage. Sang pulled off his headphones upon seeing his nieces walking through the crowd of people, accompanied by Kezie's bodyguard, Badru, and Kallie's bodyguard, Jamie.
They got to him and he immediately pulled the three into a hug, everyone snapping photos of it. "I'm gonna stay here with you, but Kallie and JhenΓ© are gonna go see dad," Kez explained. She honestly would go see him, but she was already on her feet long enough and he would come over to see her anyways. "Sounds good. I'm just so happy to see you guys. JhenΓ©, have you met Daniel yet?"
"Uh no, I haven't yet," JhenΓ© chuckles lightly.
"Danny, come here!" Sang calls out. The driver turns upon hearing his name being called and he immediately runs over when he noticed JhenΓ© present, very thankful that he told Sang about his crush on her. "Daniel, this is JhenΓ©, she's Kallie's best friend. JhenΓ©, this is Daniel, one of our best drivers." Sang introduced, his niece's both smirking because they knew exactly what was up. Sang was always the best wingman.
"Hey, it's nice to meet you," JhenΓ© smiled warmly, extending her hand to him.
Daniel blushed and took her hand, pressing a kiss to her knuckles, "it's lovely to meet you, as well. You look amazing. Could use a different jacket but orange still looks great on you so that's alright." JhenΓ© laughs at his joke, her smile growing brighter as she looked up at him, suddenly forgetting all about Lewis, "yeah, I think it'd look better if it was your number, don't you think?"
"Yeah, it would." Daniel smiled, his cheeks growing red.
Kallie cleared her throat, "sorry to interrupt this, but we have to go." Daniel nods in understanding, turning back to JhenΓ©, "uh, can I have your number?" At this, Sang had taken Kezie away, bringing her to a room to rest her feet. Kallie stood to the side awkwardly as JhenΓ© eagerly pulls out her phone to give to him. He put in his number and handed it back to her, "you maybe wanna hang out after this?"
"I'm goin' to a club tonight with the girls so I'll call you. Maybe we can meet up there," JhenΓ© responded, leaning up to press a peck to his cheek.
Before he could even respond, Kallie was pulling her away urgently. They got to the Mercedes garage and Nico ran over, immediately throwing his arms around her. "I'm too uncoordinated for this!" Kallie laughs, almost tripping over her feet but he caught her and steadied her. "I love your jacket," he says, turning her around to see the full thing. Kallie giggles softly, "I knew you would. Cami made it for me."
"She did amazing," Nico smiled, the girl turning back around.
"This is my best friend JhenΓ©, she's kinda got a thing for Lewis." Kallie says, causing the model to hit her arm out of embarrassment, "not anymore." JhenΓ© turns to the blonde, extending her hand to him, "Hi, I'm JhenΓ©. It's so nice to meet you. Please don't kill my best friend." Nico chuckles and shakes her hand kindly, "I'll do my best."
JhenΓ© backed away to the side as Nico and Kallie got into the Mercedes car. Just as the blonde drove off, Lewis ran over, a curse word leaving his lips upon realizing he could no longer throw Nico to the side and take his place. "Hey, I'm JhenΓ©. Were you waiting for them?" She questioned, bringing his attention back. "Oh uh, no, I was just hoping to say hi to someone. You're JhenΓ©, right? The one I'm taking on a lap?"
"Yeah, that's me. If you're not up for it, we can totally cancel it." JhenΓ© says, shrugging it off, because deep down she really wanted Daniel to be taking her for hot lap.
"Nah, that's fine. I'm up for it." He said, not wishing to make her feel unimportant. "I love your jacket. It's really cool. Is it custom?" He asked, smiling at all the details. It wasn't even a Mercedes jacket. It was from his time in McLaren. "Oh thank you, and I'm not sure. It's not mine. I borrowed it from my best friend, Kalliope. It's actually hers, so you'll have to ask where she got it."
"You sure that doesn't belong to Keziyah? I wasn't sure if Kallie was actually a fan of me." Lewis questions, furrowing his brows in confusion. There was no way the woman who never spoke a word to him, had a jacket with his number on it, and from the first team he was on in Formula 1. "No, it's definitely hers. Keziyah doesn't have any McLaren stuff. And Kallie has jackets for many teams and people, she likes to support a lot."
Just as she finished, the Mercedes was back and Kallie had taken at least 30 seconds before coming out. Nico just laughed at her dramatics, the driver scowling, "you almost killed me! I'm never getting in the same car with you again. How are you even allowed to have a license?" She pulled off his hat and hit him with it. Nico winces, quickly taking the hat back from her, "you can't talk! Remember that mirror you broke on someone's car?"
"It was already broken," Kallie excused with a scoff.
"Like your soul?" He retorts and she smacked him in the back of the head.
"Keep talking and I'll hit you more," she sneered.
She walked back over to JhenΓ©, completely ignoring Lewis. "Your turn. Go on, it's so fun. It's like when I drive," she encouraged. JhenΓ© gave her a pointed look, "you drive like you're being chased by the cops." Nico laughs, nodding in agreement until he froze, her icy glare on him. Lewis cleared his throat awkwardly, turning to JhenΓ©, trying not to focus too much on Kallie but it was hard when she looked so gorgeous. "Uh, you ready?"
"Yes, let's get this done with," JhenΓ© breathed out nervously, her friend giving her an encouraging nudge. They both got into the car and Lewis sped off, not giving her any warning. "Oh, my God! You're worse than Kallie! Slow down! Slow down!" JhenΓ© exclaimed, grabbing onto the seat like her life depended on it.
"What's up with you and what's his name?" Nico questioned, getting an annoyed look from her. "Neymar, you mean?" He nods, giving her a knowing look. She rolled her eyes, leaning against the barrier, "there's nothing happening because we were never dating. I told you, I don't date footballers." He scoffs, nudging her arm, "you don't date anyone, and that's your problem. You can't party and be single forever."
"No, no, I think I can," she shrugs.
The Mercedes car returned and Kallie ran over to the door, pulling it open for JhenΓ©. Lewis climbed out and went over to Nico, "did she talk about me?" He asked immediately. Nico shook his head awkwardly, "no." He huffed in annoyance, "you're a terrible wingman." Kallie helped JhenΓ© out, the model taking a calming breath because Lewis drove like he had two left feet. "Did you get his number?" She asked.
JhenΓ© shook her head, "no, because I already have a better one."
"Daniel? You don't like Lewis anymore?" She questioned in disbelief, there was no way she did all that just for JhenΓ© to move on like it was nothing. "I like Daniel. He's really sweet, and we're gonna meet up at the club tonight. If you want Lewis, you can have him. I think he likes you." JhenΓ© shrugs, walking around the car, her best friend standing there in shock.
"That was really cool. Thank you so much," JhenΓ© shook his hand, still gathering herself.
"Yeah, that was so much fun. You did great," Lewis smiled.
Kallie walked back over, looking to Nico, "hey, can you take me to my dad?" He nods, setting a hand on her back. "Yeah, come on." He led the two into the garage and they found Jae-hyun in a conference room by himself, obviously looking over everything again to make sure they wouldn't have any trouble with the cars. "Boss, got your daughter here," Nico knocks on the wall to grab his attention.
Jae-hyun looked up from his work and grinned, quickly standing up. "Thank you, Nico." The blonde nods swiftly and exits the room to leave them. "You two look beautiful. Come here." Kallie immediately runs into his arms, JhenΓ© joining in on the hug next. "How are you girls liking Monaco when you aren't working?" He asked, pulling away. JhenΓ© chuckles, "it's very nice, but a bit too crowded for me. I'll stick with living in LA."
"I really like it, the clubs here are perfection," Kallie answered, getting a small laugh from her father. "You and those clubs. Reminds me of Lewis." He jokes, sitting back down, the two taking their seats next to him, the cool air feeling far better compared to the hot air outside. "How is your sister? She doing okay?" He asked, everyone had been so protective after she told the family she was pregnant. Especially because she already had cancer, so that didn't help her case at all. It made her pregnancy extremely dangerous.
"She's doing fine. Sang is watching her, and she's gonna tell Seb so you know he'll be watching her, too." Kallie assured, shrugging it off.
"Who's watching your brother?" Jae-hyun questioned, causing the two woman to share a nervous look. "Uhh...we left him to stay at his friend George's house," Kallie mumbled. Jae-hyun sighed, running a hand through his black hair, "you girls stress me out. I'm gonna start looking old if you keep giving me these wrinkle lines." JhenΓ© laughs softly, "nah, the thing that's gonna make you look old is if Lewis and Nico keep fightin' out there."
"Good point. Those boys are gonna give me wrinkles and your mum is gonna look younger than me," Jae-hyun joked, leaning back in his chair.
"Mama is like a vampire. She doesn't age," Kallie snorts.
"Hopefully you get her genes in that department," he adds.
"You know I will, Baba."

"I look so good right now." Kallie smirked, checking herself out in the elevator mirror. "We look delicious," Merida added, pulling out her phone to take a picture of them. They all squeezed up together and she took a few pictures. "Damn, I wish Kezie was with us," Ariana comments, taking a selfie with Kallie and JhenΓ©. Merida nods in agreement, leaning against the elevator wall, "curse Mike for gettin' my girl knocked up. She should be partying with us right now, not kickin' up her feet and eatin' pickles."
"Please don't talk about that abomination of a food," Kallie gagged, the thought of it making her feel nauseous.
"My bad," Merida winced, always forgetting Kallie's hatred/fear of pickles.
They finally got to the club, and JhenΓ© had invited Daniel, so she was hoping he would show, but she'd also understand if he was too tired after the race. Kallie got them a booth on the second floor so they could be away from the huge crowd of people downstairs. "Mer, let's go dance," Ari takes the tall girl's hand, giving her no option as she drags her downstairs. Kallie got them a round of drinks as JhenΓ© kept checking her phone every few seconds.
"Are you sure he's coming?" Kallie asked, snacking on some appetizers. Courtesy of being a celebrity, you get your food and drinks faster.
"He said he's on his way," JhenΓ© shrugs. Kallie nods, standing up and walking over to the railing, JhenΓ© joining her side. They watched with a laugh as Ari and Merida danced, mostly just Merida twerking and Ari cheering her on and even landing a few smacks of encouragement. A waitress came over their their drinks, handing Kallie hers and setting the rest on the table. She sipped on the alcoholic drink, her eyes scanning the crowd of people. She was not leaving this place alone.
And then her eyes met his. He stood at the bar, a drink in his hand, by his side was a few of his friends that she didn't bother to look at. "Did you mean it when you said you don't like Lewis anymore?" She questioned, glancing to her right where JhenΓ© was searching the crowd for any sign of Daniel. "Yeah, I've moved on. He's nice and all, but he's just not for me. Why?"
Kallie nudged her, and her eyes followed her sight, landing on the Mercedes driver at the bar, now talking with his friends who were encouraging him to talk to other woman who actually showed interest in him. "Ohh, that's why. Go for it, girl. He's fine as fuck. As Kez would say, go get that dick," JhenΓ© encouraged, her bold words making Kallie grin.
"We'll see. I don't know if I'm feelin' him yet," she shrugs, Ari and Merida both returning after the song finished.
Merida grabbed her drink and took Kallie's hand, "let's go fishing, baby." She grinned, following the model downstairs. They walked onto the dance floor, a slow and sensual song playing. Normally, this was Kezie and Merida's routine, but ever since Kez got locked down, it became Kallie and Merida's thing. "You wanna throw it, or should I?" Kallie asked in a whisper. "I'm tryna take home a lady, so you can throw it," Merida smirked.
Kallie chuckled, bending over and throwing it back at the beat drop, Merida setting a hand on her lower back, everyone backing up to watch. The DJ hyped them up, putting a spotlight on them. JhenΓ© and Ari both cheered from the second floor, watching as Kallie threw it back into the taller girl. JhenΓ© looked over at Lewis, noticing the way he was watching, bottom lip pulled between his teeth. She nudged Ari, "he likes her, don't he?"
Ari nods, "damn, that boy is in love," she chuckled.
After the song was over, Merida was taken to the bar by some girl who offered to buy her another drink. Kallie grinned, giving the model a wink. "Hey, can I buy you a drink?" She turned around to see a man, clearly from there because of his strong accent. He was a bit taller than her, he smelled nice, and he was kinda attractive. That's good enough for her. "Sure." She set his hand in his and he brought her over to the bar, coincidentally next to where Lewis was sitting.
"Shot of tequila, please," Kallie requests.
"I'll have the same, on my tab," the man added.
"What's your name?" Kallie asks, drinking the rest of her beverage and setting it back down, nothing but ice remaining. "Issac, what's yours?" She almost felt relieved that he didn't know her. It was always better that way. She hated when people knew who she was and who her family was. "I'm Kallie," she answered, trying her best to ignore the smirk that resides on Lewis's face. He was leaned forward on the bar counter so she could see him right behind Issac.
"Are you a dancer? You were really good out there." He said, bringing a small smile to her face, she quite enjoying being complimented about her dancing. "Well, I'm South African so I grew up dancing. I wouldn't say I'm a professional, but my sister is. What about you? You live here?" She questioned, just trying to make some small talk so she knew he wasn't a serial killer before she took him back to her hotel room.
"I do, born and raised. Are you here for business?" He asked over the loud music.
"Uh no, not really. I'm just here for a vacation before I go back to work in a few months," she explained, and she wasn't lying, in September she had to be in China for round 1 of the Formula E season. "Really? What do you do?" He asked. "Uh, I'm sort of a professional race car driver," she answered. He scoffs in disbelief before it forms into a laugh, earning a confused look from her. "I'm sorry, it's just- you're a woman. I find that very hard to believe."
"Ah, I see, you're one of those guys. My mistake. Thank you for the shot." Kallie smiled sarcastically, taking the shot and setting the glass back down before leaving, ignoring his calls. She walked upstairs, finding Ari only as JhenΓ© was downstairs at a booth with Daniel, who had showed up after all. "What happened?" She asked, sipping on her drink. "The usual," she shrugs, reaching for the drink that JhenΓ© left up there abandoned.
"Well, I was gonna ask if you're cool with me taking the car back because Kez called me and she isn't feeling so good so I wanted to go stay with her, make sure she isn't by herself." Ariana explained, her fingers tapping against the phone. Kallie nods, "of course, go ahead. Jamie will drive you back, just make sure he comes back for Merida cause that girl was with looks like she came with some friends."
"Sure thing, Kal. Oh, and I saw Lewis checking you out, so you should totally get on that. Don't worry about JhenΓ©, she's obsessed with that Daniel guy. You won't be breaking girl code." Ariana stood up and Kallie did the same, pulling her into a quick hug. "I'll keep that in mind. Give sis my love." She nods with a smile, "I will. Have fun. Don't let that beautiful man get away."
Kallie huffs, downing her drink for a boost of confidence before descending down the stairs. She took the empty seat next to Lewis, his falls immediately falling onto her. She waved over the bartender, "tequila, thank you." She was quickly handed a glass and Kallie smiled in delight. She always loved tequila a bit more than most. "Friends ditch you?" He asked, turning in his seat to face her, finally gaining the confidence to speak to her.
"They are...what's the word- uh occupied. Yes, that's it. They're occupied." Kallie says, turning to him, and he was actually shocked that she spoke an actual sentence to him. "Good to know you can actually morph a sentence to me," he comments, getting a chuckle from her because he wasn't wrong. "I wanna know why you ignored me all those months in karting, and after that. Tell me why. Did I do something?" He asked.
"If Nico had his eyes on a girl, you wouldn't make a move on her, would you?" She questioned, and he nods in response, still confused about where this was going. "Exactly. My best friend had a thing for you, so out of respect for her, I didn't make a move, not that I wanted to, but you get the point. Now she's found someone new to fond over, so she said I can make a move." Kallie explained, taking another sip of her drink.
"That makes lots of sense," he mumbled, and she nods firmly. He tilt his head, squinting his eyes with curiosity, "so, is that what you're doing? Making a move?"
"I already made a move. Dancing. You couldn't take your eyes off me." She states knowingly, she didn't need her friends to tell her he was staring. She didn't even need to look to know he was. "I see why Nico calls you a flirt, it's adding up," Lewis chuckles, trying to ignore how flustered she made him. "He calls me a flirt, because he turns into a cherry tomato around me. Can't exactly blame him, I do have that effect on men."
"Quite confident, aren't you?"
"When you're young, hot, and rich, you tend to have the utmost confidence. You usually have great confidence. Makes me wonder where it went." She said, standing up and taking her drink. He quickly stood up, no way was he letting this chance slip through his fingers. He followed her up the stairs and walked over to her booth where she sat. "What makes you think I have no confidence?" He questioned, taking a seat next to her and taking her phone so she couldn't distract herself.
"The fact that you just asked me that, and because I had to go up to you." She answered, turning to him, not caring about him taking her phone. "I walked away because I don't like cheaters," she stated blankly. He furrowed his brows in confusion, "cheaters? You think I'm a cheater?" She nods, "why else would your girlfriend be so defensive towards me and my sister?"
"All right, I see where the confusion is. I don't have a girlfriend. We split up...again, but still. I'm completely single. I had nothing to do with whatever she said about you and your sister. I have the utmost respect for you and Keziyah. I would never allow that." He clarified, setting her phone back down because he didn't want to make her feel obligated to speak to him. If she wasn't interested, he would be upset but he wouldn't pressure her.
"Prove it. I don't know you. I don't know if I can trust your word. Men are liars." She shrugged, taking her phone back but not turning it on.
"You see that person filming us right now?" He asked, and she nods, she had seen it earlier. They had been recording her the whole night. "If I had a girlfriend, and I was caught cheating, that would ruin my whole image. Which is why, I'm not scared to do this." In a quick second, his lips were on hers, her phone slipping from her fingers as she focused on kissing him back and damn was he a good kisser.
Pulling away for air, she blinked in shock, still catching her breath. "Was that proof enough or should I post a video of us making out?" Lewis questions, dead serious about it. She gulps, nodding her head, "that was enough. I believe you now." He smirked, that kiss making his confidence grow. He wanted more of it. He wanted more of her. He needed her, desperately. He got a taste, but it wasn't enough. "How'd you like the race today?"
"It was nice. I liked the part when you lost," she smirked, sending him a teasing wink.
"Fair, although I would've been okay had I lost to you," he replied swiftly, causing her to chuckle. She leaned forward, her hand gently cupping his jaw, "aw, did nobody tell you?" His brows knitted as he expressed confusion, "tell me what?" She smiled, her fingers patting his cheek, her tongue clicking softly, "I was in talks with Mercedes, and then they swooped you up out of nowhere. You took my seat. The only chance I had of being a Formula 1 driver was taken by you. Nobody else would take a woman."
"I didn't know that, I'm sorry," he says, feeling guilty about being the reason she lost a seat especially after how hard she worked for it. She had to work twice as hard to succeed, and it still wasn't enough. "Don't apologize. I'll get my seat, in due time. I follow God's plan." She smiled, dropping her hand and taking her drink, drinking the rest of it. He squints, eyeing her movements, "I didn't know you were Christian."
"Oh dear, no, no, I'm not. I don't follow Christianity. It's filled with a bunch of hypocrites. I went to catholic school so I'm religious, but I don't follow a specific religion. It's like with Merida, she's Muslim but she practices it differently." Kallie answered, taking a slight second to question herself. Why was she telling him this? She never talked about her faith with anyone other than family. Why was he so different? And why was he so interested in her? Not just her looks or the idea of sleeping with her, but her personality and why she made certain decisions. He wanted to know it all.
"Do you have a car?" She questioned, wanting to push away the topic before it turned into a whole conversation and she did not need him to know that much about her. That's how you develop feelings, and she didn't do feelings. He nods, holding up keys to his Mercedes. "What kind of driver would I be if I didn't?" She smirked, snatching his keys and sliding out of the booth, "come on, I'm growing bored. DJ keeps replaying the same songs."
She took his hand in hers and led him out to the back. She pushed open the door and smiled at the fresh air. "Which one is yours?" She questioned. He pointed over to the black car and she smiled, "good taste." She walked over to the car, her heels clicking against the concrete. "Sure you know how to drive in those things?" He questioned, remembering how clumsy she was. Nico used to hold onto her shirt because she'd always trip over something.
"You doubting my abilities?" She turned around only to stumble forward and into his arms. "Yes, I'm very much doubting your abilities," he says, brushing her braids from her face. She huffs, steadying herself again, "there was a rock. I know how to drive." She got the door and he looked down at the ground, there was definitely no rock. But, he wasn't gonna argue. He pulled open the door for her and she stepped inside.
Once he got in, she started the car up and turned on the AC, even though it was already cold outside. But he didn't question it. "Where are you taking me?" He questioned, leaning back comfortably, maybe still a little in disbelief that she was actually sitting in his car.
"Another club, unless you wanna hangout at Nico's. Though I'm not sure he'd be pleased to be woken up at such a tired hour," Kallie mumbled, giving him a pointed look. "I'm just gonna shut up now," Lewis said, and she smiled, putting the car in reverse. "I know this really cool club here, I went to it the day I got here and it was so much fun. Merida is meeting us there." She said, setting her phone down after shooting a text to her girls. Merida was gonna meet her there but JhenΓ© was gonna stay with Daniel.
"You should invite your friends. That club was boring, too broke for me," Kallie said knowingly, stopping the car at the red light.
"This is where we're going," Kallie showed him the location on her phone and Lewis took her advice and told his friends, to which they all responded with words of agreement. Some were shocked that he was actually with Kallie. "They all agree, so they'll meet us there." He replied. He loved to party, and he always wanted to party with Kallie. He partied with Keziyah once after a race win and she was really fun so he could imagine how fun Kallie would be.
"You look really good when you're frustrated. Like after that race. Didn't even acknowledge Nico. It was hot." Kallie spoke, glancing over at him, her eyes lingering on his lap before turning her attention back to the road. "Maybe you should come to my races more often if you find that hot," he suggested swiftly. A smirk crept up her glossed lips and she chuckles softly, "I don't go to races for just anyone. You gotta impress me first, darling."
His eyes twinkled at her words, "what do I need to do to impress you?"
"You'll figure it out." She stopped at a traffic light, and then to her left, she noticed a roaring engine. They looked over to see a guy and his friend in a flashy car, clearly trying to race them. She shared a look with Lewis, both of them very amused. "You're driving, darling. Do what you want with that," he said, allowing her full access to race this guy if she wanted to. She smirked, revving her engine, "let's smoke this fool."
The red light turned green, both cars speed off, the other car got a good start but she was better. It was a guy in a flashy car who thought he was a pro. Not a good look. If you wanna race a champion, at least know what you're doing. Therefore, she won with ease. They stopped at a stop sign and rolled their windows down. "Really big fans! You made my night, man!" He said, not even caring that he just got his ass kicked in a street race with a Formula E champion, and Lewis Hamilton in the passenger.
"Have a good night!" Kallie laughs, both drivers waving at them before she sped off. Lewis looked over at her, and he could not find it in himself to stop smiling. She was truly one of a kind in his eyes. He had never had this much fun with a woman before. It felt like she was made for him. She was so confident and wild, but she also had another side to her that was gentle and kind.
Kallie turned to meet his eyes, "did you know, when I was young, I used to be a street racer? Not many people know that about me." He furrowed his brows, shaking his head, "I didn't know that, but it does explain why you snuck out of the hotel a lot back then." She nods, recalling all those times, she'd always trick her bodyguard and manager to sneak out and race. "Those were some of my favorite times."
"Why did you stop?"
Kallie smiled, grabbing her phone as she stopped the car, "I got arrested." She stepped out and tossed the keys to the valet guy, "happy to see me again, darling?" He chuckles in amusement, walking around the car as Lewis climbed out. "You know it, Kallie. Have a good time, beautiful." She smirked, stepping onto the sidewalk as the bouncer pulled open the doors for her. "Always do." She took Lewis's hand her cold rings bringing shivers down his spine.
She pulled him to the bar and the lady obviously recognized her. "Shall I pull up a tab, Kallie?" She questioned. The driver smiled, her eyes twinkled in amusement, "you know me so well. I'll have my usual." The woman nods and takes Lewis's order next before getting started on making them. She got the two shots, and handed Lewis one. She sprinkled salt on her lime because she didn't like licking it off her hand. "You ready?" She smiled.
He nods, both of them taking the shot and biting into the lime. She pulled the lime from her mouth and put it in the glass. Leaning forward, she pulled the lime from his mouth and pressed her lips to his, his tongue sliding into her mouth, tasting the remnants of the salt and lime. "Am I interrupting something?" Kallie broke away slowly, and looked to Merida, the tall girl watching with an impressed look.
"You get my card?" Merida nods, reaching into her purse and handing Kallie her card as she left it at the previous club. She took the card and handed it to the bartender with a smile. "Take a shot with me, darling. Stop drinking delicate." Kallie handed Merida the shot of vodka because Merida did not drink tequila. "Fine, just because I'm having the worst luck tonight." She mused, downing the shot expertly.
Merida set her purse onto the counter and the woman took it and put it in box so it wouldn't get stolen. She took another shot of vodka and took her friend's hand. "I'm stealing her now. Let's dance." Merida smiled, taking Kallie away as Lewis just chuckled in amusement. No Scrubs by TLC started playing as they made it to the floor. "How's that coming along?" She asked, referring to the driver's time with Lewis.
"Let's just say, I could walk out right now and he'll follow me," Kallie grinned.
"That's how you get it done, baby." Merida laughed, turning around and grinding into Kallie as the song had switched to Baby Boy by BeyoncΓ© and Sean Paul. Kallie grinned, setting her hands on Merida's hips, catching it as she threw it back. "This is my song!" The model exclaimed, turning around and moving her hips along to the song, her hands set on Kallie's shoulders. "You see that girl right there?" The driver spoke, and Merida glanced over her shoulder, spotting the girl watching her.
"She wants you, but she thinks we're together." Kallie smiled in amusement.
"Let's show her we're not," Merida smirked.
Kallie chuckled, the song switching to DJ Got Us Fallin' in Love by Usher and Pitbull. She made her way through the crowd of drunk dancing people and found Lewis, he was talking with a few of his friends who had shown up just as the girl's were dancing on each other. She took two more shots like it was water, his friend's watching with wide eyes. "Dance with me." She took his hand and pulled him through the crowd, locating Merida again.
She gripped onto his shirt, pulling him closer to her, the song switching into Hips Don't Lie by Shakira. "You ever been with an African girl?" She questioned, moving his hand to her waist.
"Nah. You wanna show me what I'm missing out on?" He pulled her closer, leaving no space between their bodies. "I'd be happy to, darling." She smirked, turning around, moving her hips to the music, sending a wink to a knowing Merida. She turned around again, grabbing onto his cap and putting it on, smiling at him, still moving her hips instinctively. The song switched off again to Let Me Love You, by Mario, featuring Keziyah, the remix.
Kallie slid her arms around his neck, it was slower song so everyone found a partner. She hummed, singing some of lyrics as he watched in awe. "You should be a singer, like your sister. You got a beautiful voice for it." He suggests, subtlety taking his cap back, brushing her braids from her face. "That's...nice of you. Thank you. I'll keep that in mind." Kallie smiled softly, trying to ignore the butterflies in her stomach.
"I should've said this far sooner, but you look extravagant. I've never seen a more beautiful woman. You truly never cease to amaze me." He says, pulling her closer, feeling how fast her heart beat picked up. She quickly regained her calm composure and smirked, her thumb brushing over his cheek as she cupped his jaw. "What can I say? I'm hypnotizing, mhle."
"That you are," he replied swiftly, leaning down and connecting their lips.
She pulled away after a few second, her eyes dazed over, why was he making her feel so good? It wasn't supposed to be like that. It was supposed to be a normal one night stand, not a night of love. Normally she would've ended it if it came down to that. But she wanted more. "Wanna go back to my room?" She suggests. He nods, not even hesitating with his answer, "yeah."
They walked back over to the bar, Kallie took her card and phone back, Merida would be fine. She had someone keeping her company. As he didn't have as many drinks as her, he opted to drive. She was quite annoyed when she noticed all the cameras. Of course someone had snitched about them being there. She didn't have one night where people didn't find her and her friends. That's the one thing she hated about being Keziyah's sister. They would always track her down.
They got into the car, and he quickly drove off, getting away from the cameras before they got pics of them in the car. "We're gonna be on TMZ tomorrow," she mused bitterly. He chuckles, taking her hand and pressing a kiss to it, "normal day in my life. Where's your hotel?" He questioned, taking a glance at her as they stopped at a sign.
"That really popular one that everyone stays at when they're in Monaco," Kallie answered, only because she completely forgot the name.
"I'm familiar with it." He mumbled.
She leaned forward and put on some music, coincidentally it was her sister playing. It was Stay Ready (What A Life) by Keziyah and Kendrick Lamar. She started to sing along to it, her soft voice blending in quite well with her sister's. "Why didn't Keziyah come out with you tonight? She's usually always with you." He questions, now finding it quite weird how Kez hadn't been at any clubs recently. She was known for partying at clubs.
"Uh, you can't tell anyone, like it seriously cannot leave this car," she breathed out, feeling the alcohol start to get to her.
"I won't say a word," he promised.
"She's pregnant. That's why she wasn't walking around the paddock like she normally would," Kallie answered, chuckling at his shocked face. "I mean, I'm shocked, but it makes sense. It explains why Jae took some time off." She nods, leaning back into the seat, she took his hand and placed it on her upper thigh, smirking triumphantly as he gave it a squeeze, gripping it tighter. "What language were you speaking earlier?" He asks, breaking the comfortable silence that consumed them.
"Xhosa. It's my first language. I'm still...adjusting to English. Nico helped me out a lot when I would forget words. Lots of the boys made fun of me. So I just ignore them and talk shit in my language. They have no clue I'm calling them a bunch of pussies in Korean and Xhosa." Kallie smiled, gaining a chuckle from him. He stopped in front of the hotel, climbing out first and walking around to open the door for her. She took his hand and stepped out, rolling her eyes at the people taking pictures, of course they knew where she was staying.
She took the keys them to the valet guy, "thank you."
She took Lewis's hand and led him inside, they stepped into the empty elevator and she clicked the button for her floor. He turned her around, sliding his arm around her waist and connecting their lips. She moaned into it, sliding her arms around his neck to deepen the kiss. The doors opened on the floor and she pulled away breathlessly, "we should take this to the room, yeah?"
He nods in agreement, his thumb wiping his lip, her cherry clear gloss smeared on his. She walked to her room, his hand set on her waist, as she unlocked the door. It was surprisingly neat, but after this, he wasn't sure it would be. She kicked off her heels and turned around, his hands pushing her against the wall. She smirked, knocking off his cap and interlocking their lips in a heated kiss. His hands slid lower and he hiked her leg around his waist, her hips grinding into him.
"You should grow out your hair, put in some braids. Ladies need something to grab on," she whispered against his lips, her soft brown eyes meeting his. "I'll do whatever you want, only if you're the one grabbing onto it," he says swiftly, bringing her other leg around his waist. She smiled, running her hands through his short hair, "impress me, and maybe I'll think about sticking around for that, mhle."
"Hope you don't have to catch a flight tomorrow."
"No, I'm all yours."

"Best night of my entire life, and she just leaves like it was nothing. Can you believe that?" Nico looked up from his magazine as Lewis paced back and forth, ranting about his epic night with Kalliope Yeong-Su. He sighs, setting down his magazine, "don't you think, maybe you're overthinking this? She probably only saw it as a one night stand."
Lewis scoffs, shaking his head in denial, "no, no, it wasn't like that. She was really into me. You didn't see the way she looked at me, man. It was more than sex."
"Did she leave a note? Maybe she had a flight to catch, or things to do?" Nico suggests, he had never seen Lewis so lovestruck before, and it was honestly a little amusing. He had claimed that after Nicole, he wouldn't look for relationships, only fun, and here he was, looking for one with Kalliope, a woman known for never settling. "She left a note, but no number or anything," Lewis dropped the card onto the coffee table, it was the business card of the club they were at with her writing on the back of it.
Nico picked it up with curiosity, and read it.
I had fun. We'll find each other again, mhle. Just gotta follow God's plan.
Love, Kallie.
"I seriously don't understand her. She brings me to her room, and leaves me in the morning. All her stuff was gone, like she had done this before. I should've known. She had all her stuff packed when we got there." Lewis rambled, his tone filled with frustration as he took the card back. Nico furrowed his brows, starting to think that Lewis was right about it being more than a one night stand to her. She never left notes. That was one thing knew she never did. She claimed it gave false hope.
"I don't know what to say. She never leaves notes. She doesn't like to talk about herself. She never talks about her sister. And she doesn't kiss until she's away from a camera. I think you're right about this. It was more than a one night stand." Nico says in agreement, his teammate nodding as he sat down, still looking at the card. "See? I knew I wasn't crazy. She caught feelings for me, I know it."
"That would explain why she ran," Nico shrugs, grabbing his phone to call her. "I'm gonna call her, see what's up with her." Lewis sighs, not fighting that because the desire to hear her voice again was too compelling. The call picked up, the sound a little muffled for a few seconds. "Hey, sorry, some kid tried to steal my phone," Kallie laughs, sitting back down as Kez made sure the kid got back to his mother.
"That's random, but on brand for you," Nico mumbled.
"Kids aren't my biggest fans," Kallie giggles, and winced when Kez hit her arm. "Anyways, what's up?" She asked, sipping on her green smoothie, that would help with the hangover. Merida was far worse, she had her glasses on, a hood over her head, and damn did she look a mess. But she claimed it was definitely worth it because she had an amazing night with the woman she left the club with.
"I'm just checking in, wondering how your night went. I heard you spent some time with Lewis. That's new." He said, and Lewis rolled his eyes at how bad he was at being subtle. There was no way she was buying this. And he was right. "Haha, nice try, Britney. I know he's there. I said what I said in the note. That's all you're getting. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm having brunch with my sisters and I prefer to not think about how I got my hangover. Bye, bye." She hung up.
Lewis grunts, throwing a pillow at the blonde, "way to be subtle!"
"I did my best!"
