"I'm sorry! Are my tits offending you?" Kez smiled sarcastically, her eyes glistening with annoyance.

You're a slut," Kallie stated boredly.

"I don't need a shrink. I already went through all that." Kez said, shrugging her shoulder.

"I'm obsessed with brocedes lore," Kaylen smirked, getting a snort from his sister.

"Can I do anything to help?" He whispered softly into her ear, his thumbs rubbing small circles onto her clothed stomach.

Let's rewind...

So, they were currently in Canada, for the Canadian Grand Prix. Kez took a break from filming to rightfully fulfill her duties as Jaguar CEO. She was purely there for work, she even brought Kaidyn with her to keep herself in check. She and Merida both made a bet about who can go longer without sex. Kez didn't like to lose. So she chose suffering. When Kallie and Lewis heard about this, they knew she would lose. She'd make excuses, but she'd still lose.

For the third time, she popped another gum in her mouth, Kaidyn in her arms and trying to reach for it but she moved it away. "You barely have teeth, bubs. You can't chew gum. You'll choke. I can get you a pastry somewhere, if you'll like." Kez spoke so he wouldn't begin crying. He was born in late 2019, so he was about 3 years old. He was more observed and quiet. He didn't like to talk much even if he knew how. He reminded Kez of herself when she was younger- when she needed her little sister to protect her.

Kaidyn just taps her arm twice with two fingers as a way to say yes. They started that when she realized he didn't like to speak much. She never wanted him to feel under pressure to speak, so she taught him sign language. He was actually very good at it. He picked it up very fast. She knew he was gonna be smart like his older sister. She loved that about her kids. They were little geniuses, just like she was.

She had a feeling Kaidyn would go down the engineer path like her father and uncle. He loved it there. In the garage was where he was always happiest. But there could be a chance where he went down the path Kallie and Kaylen did. And if he did, Kez knew damn well he'd be one of the best at it. She walked down to the Jaguar hospitality and stepped inside, going over to the table where they had food and snacks out for all the team members.

She leaned down and let Kaidyn pick out the pastry he wanted. "Drink?" She asked, and he simply just tapped her arm once as a sign of no. "Okay then. Let's go handle business." She motioned her bodyguard they were leaving and he nods, following her closely. They headed into the debriefs room and she sat down, the only one there. "The one time I show up early, everyone is late," Kez mutters unpleasantly, popping another gum into her mouth. Kaidyn just nibbled on his pastry, watching the TV where they had an old Canada GP playing.

He watched in awe at the overtake his Uncle Lewis did, a smile making it's way to his face. It was rare he was ever showing that much emotion. It was usually reserved for his mum. But now, racing had a special place in his heart. It made her happy to see. She twisted her wedding ring impatiently, glancing at the clock every other minute to the point her bodyguard considered removing it. After some more time, people began making their way inside, surprised to see the boss so early.

"Uh, where is Kalliope?" Kez questioned, the only driver present being her younger brother.

"The lovebirds are arguing about who takes Kami today," Kaylen informed in Xhosa so the others wouldn't know her business. He leaned back comfortably, watching the old race, same as Kaidyn. Kez huffed, passing her son to Kaylen, the latter smiling, excitedly to get the boy to smile. He tried everything, and nothing. Although, Kaidyn did smile around his Aunt Kallie quite often. Kaylen was still offended by it.

"I will take care of this," Kez stated. She made her way out, her bodyguard following as Kaidyn was being looked after by his Uncle. She walked down to the Mercedes hospitality- which was conveniently close to hers. She spotted Lewis and Kallie both taking Kami into their arms back and forth as they bicker. Kami looked very distressed. "What are you doing to this poor child?" Kez scolds, her accent thicker at her words as she takes Kami from their hands.

Kamiyah sniffles, clutching onto her Auntie with relief. "I know, I got you bubs," Kez smiled softly, pressing a peck to her cheek.

"Ha! I win! Let's go," Kallie said triumphantly, smiling sarcastically in Lewis's annoyed face. "No, no, none of you win. This child is staying with me because you two idiots are stressing her out. She's 2 for God's sake! Fix your shit or she'll be living with me." Kez pressed, turning on her heel to leave, wanting to get the girl inside so she wasn't shivering so much.

"This is all your fault," Kallie scowled, hitting his arm.

"Kalliope!" Kez called in a scolding tone. Lewis smirks as Kallie begrudgingly followed her sister. She threw him the middle finger, which he returned with the same amount of annoyance. Kez smacks her hand down and enters the hospitality. "Yoh, you sound like our mother's mother!" Kallie complained. "Good! Maybe then you finally listen! Goodness, you both act like bloody children." Kez argued, hitting the shorter woman's arm.

"Whatever," Kallie scoffed.

Kami refused to look at her mum the whole way to the debriefing room. She just rested her head on Kezie's chest with a frown etched on her lips. She hated when they fought about her. She was very thankful for her Auntie for saving her from that mess. Kez picked up a mini slider and handed it to her niece. "Sarmie," Kami giggled, taking a bite of the mini sandwich. Kez smiled, pressing a kiss to her head as Kallie just scowled from across the room.

She glanced across the room to see Kaidyn sitting in her sister's lap, smiling as she explained the overtakes to him. Kez rolled her eyes, finding that so unfair because Kallie knew Kaidyn was obsessed with cars and the way they worked and Kez wasn't an actual driver so she couldn't explain things from the perspective Kallie could. At least Kamari wanted to be a basketball and footballer. Kez was extremely good at sports. She played like a pro without even having much experience. It just came naturally to her. Probably because of how smart she was.

"I want stay with you," Kami said towards the end of the debriefs.

Kez glanced away from her papers to look at her niece, "hayibo? Are you sure, Khanya?" [translation; khanya= light (represents enlightenment and joy)]

"yebo," Kami said in certainty.

"Ja, nee, I will talk with your parents." Kez agreed, and Kami giggles excitedly, hugging onto her Auntie. She stood up and made her way over to Kallie and Kaylen. "Yoh, Kams is staying with me tonight, upon her request. Gives you and Lewis time to get your shit together." Kez stated bluntly. "Fine. But could keep the cussing to a minimum? My daughter doesn't need to be hearing that," Kallie replied.

"Don't ask me that again. My first word was fuck." Kez scoffed, taking Kaidyn into her other arm and turning to leave. "Muscles," Kami mumbled, squeezing her aunties bicep. Kez chuckles, leaving the hospitality, her bodyguard leading her to the garage. Tons of photographers trying to snap her photo. She walked inside and greeted some of the team, her son watching in awe. "Sit on my shoulders," Kez spoke, helping Kami onto her shoulders, "hold onto me, don't let go, bubs."

She left the garage to see the pitlane, showing her son around, explaining what everything was. "Those people are the mechanics. They help change tyres before and during the race and fix up any problems with the car," Kez explained, her son tapping her arm eagerly, clearly excited even if you couldn't tell that much by his face. Kaidyn looked to her and signed, "Can we go to Kami's baba' garage?"

"Of course," Kez smiled, signing back to him.

"We go see Baba?" Kami asked, laying her chin on Kezie's head, noticing they were leaving the Jaguar garage. "Ja," Kez answered with a smile. "Asambee!" Kami cheered, pumping her small fist. "Gosh, I love your little accent," Kez chuckles, and the girl giggles. "You're so much like me. I love it," Kez added, always taking notes on how much Kami acted like her. It made sense considering how often Kez was around.

"This is Lewis's car. It looked better with the silver, but here it is," Kez expressed, mentally shrugging a shoulder.

Kaidyn's eyes brightened, and he signed, "so lekker!," to her.

"Yeah, it is," Kez chuckles, going on to explain details about the car that she knew. "You wanna see the track?" Kez signed to him, she tried to use it as much as she could so he wouldn't feel overwhelmed. He tapped her arm twice in response and she walked down to see the track. Loads of photographers crowded around to get pictures as Lewis had jumped over the wall to join her. "Daddy!" Kami cheered, reaching for him.

Lewis grinned, taking her off Kezie's shoulders, he pressed a kiss to her head. "There's my twin," he chuckled, and she giggled. They were obviously matching, and yes, it was his idea. Kami was cool with it. She loved matching. He let her pick out many of his outfits for the week, and they all looked pretty good. He even wore the handmade beaded bracelet she made him that coincidentally had a Ferrari charm on it.

"I assume you already know she's staying with me," Kez said, and Kami frowned, remembering she was still upset with him.

"Bad daddy," Kami scolded, hitting his shoulder. "Ow! I'm sorry. I didn't mean to cause you stress. But it was your mum's fault-" she hit him again at his habit to project blame onto her mum, when he knowingly riled Kallie up just to get a reaction out of if. "Both your fault. No blame Mama. You make her mad," Kami scolded, hitting his shoulder for the third time.

"Fine, maybe I shouldn't have made that comment- I'm sorry. I'm sorry we made you upset." Lewis rushed out before she could hit him again. Kez smiled, proud of Kami for putting her parents in their place yet again. Good for her, cause they were being messy for no good reason. She continued her walk down the track, explaining the curbs and lines, etc to her son who listened intently, tapping her arm or back to assure he was engaged and listening.

After walking the full track, they headed back to fulfill their duties, because they were still working, obliviously. Kez took Kami again, cause she was not giving her to Lewis just for Kallie to get mad and accuse her of choosing sides. To be clear- the only side she was on was Kamiyah's. She walked down the paddock, having left the two children to stay with Neela; who they loved very much because it's Neela. Who didn't love Neela?

Kez stopped in her tracks when she heard the yelling. She looked over at a group of fans calling her name with wide eyes. She smiled, walking over to them, her bodyguard close by her. "You got a marker, baby?" She asked the woman who wasn't paying attention to her, her nose in a book. Clearly she was forced to come with the family. Poor thing. Kez hated being dragged to events. The girl looked up, not super affected by the celebrity before her, "sure." She held out the sharpie, her fingers brushing against the tall woman's tatted hand.

Kez eyed her in interest before focusing on signing the family's merch. "Can you sign my shirt?" The sister of the girl asked, more around Keziyah's age. The other girl was younger, Kez guessed mid-twenties. Her eyes brightened at the sight of the large baby bump on the woman, "oh, you're pregnant, that's so sweet. Right here?" She grinned, the woman nodding as she pointed to the spot at the bottom of her bump.

Kez got onto her knees as she was far taller than the short woman so she had to kneel down to get the bottom of her tummy. The held the cap between her teeth as she signed her name. "Can you put a message for my baby? Her name is Katie." The woman requested, shaking her younger sister's arm in excitement. Although the younger sister was more distracted by the sight of Keziyah on her knees. Now she was a little jealous of her pregnant sister.

"Of course." Kez smiled warmly, writing "be nice to yourself, katie" next to her signature.

She stood back to her feet and accepted the embrace she got from the mother and future mother. She noticed the two twin boys holding their caps, one of them had Lewis's 44 and the other one had Kaylen's 89 on it. She bent down to their height, "hey, would you like to get these signed by Lewis and Kaylen?" She asked, and their eyes widened, quickly nodding in response.

Kez chuckled at their eagerness and pulled out her phone to call her brothers. They got there in a rush. Both frowning when they seen her in perfect condition. "Brah? I thought you were in an accident!" Kaylen exclaimed, running over, not noticing the family that Kez was just chatting with. She had been giving some parenting advice and tips that had been requested. "What? She said she got shoved by a driver," Lewis scoffed in disbelief.

"As if they could even get near me," Kez scoffed.

They rolled their eyes simultaneously. "What do you want, Keziyah?"

"Easy. This is Luca and Lucas. They are huge fans of you both." Kez said, moving behind the boys and patting their shoulders as a sign of encouragement. Lewis and Kaylen both then put their attention on the boys, very happy that they hadn't ran over here for no good reason. As they all exchanged goodbyes, Lewis and Kaylen were off, Kez going the opposite way until she felt a hand tugging her back.

"It's cool," Kez assured before Badru could get involved.

"Did you need something, ma?" She questioned, looking down at the shorter woman as she trailed off. "It's Lucie. You have my sharpie." She corrected. Kez hums, reaching for the sharpie she tucked above her ear. The attitude from the girl was certainly amusing. "What about that, ma? I make you nervous." She chuckles, glancing behind the girl to see her family still waiting on her. "Shut up. Just give me my sharpie back," Lucie scoffed, trying to hide her flushed red cheeks behind her hair.

"Cute." Kez chuckles to herself, extending her arm, sharpie in hand.

Lucie quickly grabbed it and Kez turned around to leave where her bodyguard was waiting for her. "Wait!" The Canadian girl ran over, and Kez turned expectantly. Lucie grabbed her hand and opened it up, using the sharpie to write on her palm. "Use it if you want or whatever." She shrugged nonchalantly. Kez tilt her head, eyes glinted with interest, "don't you think you're a bit young for me?"

"I'm 24. Or do you have some type of age limit against women in their twenties?" Lucie retorts, arching a brow at the taller woman.

"I don't like your attitude. I'll have fun fixing it." Kez smirked, winking at the girl before walking away- returning to her awaiting bodyguard. "All good?" Badru questioned in his thick accent, he was like Kallie when it came to English. He understood it, but he wasn't the biggest fan of speaking it. So he hardly ever did. "I think I might be losing that bet, Badru," she answered, chuckling to herself. He chuckles softly in amusement, "figures."

Kez glanced down at the phone number written in her palm, "that's gonna be hard to scrub off later."

"Fuck. I'm gonna be late." Kez muttered, popping another gum into her mouth as she jogged down to the building they were having a conference in with all of the team principles + CEOs. She didn't have to do it, but they requested her presence. Unfortunately. "Why are you chewing so aggressively?" Jae-hyun questioned, following her into the building as they got there at the same time.

"I need to keep my mouth busy," Kez shrugged, typing the number into her phone and saving it so she could wash the sharpie off her palm.

"No, what you need is therapy," Jae retorts.

"Fuck off." Kez chuckled, hitting his arm as they entered the room, everyone already there waiting. "Mholo." She bowed her head, taking her seat but leaning over to shake Andrea, Toto and Fred's hands. She didn't like many people in this room. You didn't even have to guess to know this was more directed at Christian Horner. Maybe it applied to some of the others but it was mostly him.

"No boyfriend with you?" She questioned sarcastically to him, clearly referring to his racist pal Helmut Marko. Toto has a laugh, as do the others, but it was mostly Toto's laugh that fills the room. "Funny," Christian laughs sarcastically. They never did get along. Mostly because Jae-hyun hated him, so that hate transfered to his daughter. She also thought he was a bit of a creep. It wouldn't surprise her if something came out eventually.

"No, what's funny is your losing streak," Kez retorts swiftly.

"Why is she here again? What does she know about running a team?" Christian questioned, to nobody in specific really. "Probably more than you," Jae-hyun retorts. Christian scoffed, raising a brow, "really? How so? All I see is a rich girl who buys an already existing team and steals good employees from other teams. Like one of my best engineers for example." He expressed, referring to that engineer being Sang.

"No, no, all I did was do what everyone else would've done if they were in my position. I'm not gonna wait for things to be handed to me. I take them. I'm not gonna apologize for that. Blame me all you want, I couldn't give a fuck. In fact, you should all takes some notes. I'mma tell y'all what I would do in your positions." Kez spoke, and Jae just let it happen. He knew she'd get fed up eventually. He was actually excited to hear what she was gonna say.

"Toto, let's start with you. If I were you, I would be putting all my focus into making sure Lewis got an 8th this year instead of kissing George's ass. I would also make sure to keep Lewis because he is the face is Mercedes whether you want to accept that or not. The fact that he's even available is ridiculous." Keziyah stated, everyone shocked by her blunt words, but it had to be said.

"Fred, my good friend. I can't say much, cause you're amazing and still new to Ferrari. So, if I were you, I would start looking at the capabilities of my drivers and consider making some room for someone new, perhaps available? Maybe, Lewis Hamilton? Or Kaylen? You could just snatch him up before he extends his contract. That's just what I would do in your position. Not giving you any false hope though, because Kaylen isn't going anywhere. But the first option is still in the air." She smiled, and Fred actually looked like he was taking that into mind. He received a side-eye from Toto.

"Christian. If I were you, I'd focus on actually running the team instead of crying like a little bitch," Kez grinned, Toto snickering at this. "Honestly, I can keep going but then we'd be here all day, and that'll just be about Christian," she added. "You want to criticize us, but you can't even keep your driver in line. She walks around thinking she can just put hands on anyone who bumps into her," Christian argued.

"Your driver also shoved Ocon," Toto inputs with a look of amusement.

"Exactly. And Kallie already settled it with de Vries like a mature adult, so it's really nobody's business. Don't talk about my drivers cause I can go on and on about yours in 2021. At least my driver doesn't need the help of FIA to win a race." The room when silent, filled with tension as Keziyah just smirked. Christian shot her a cold glare, "you need to learn how to respect your superiors, Mrs. Poulter- or well, Ms. Kumalo is it? I couldn't tell what with you still wearing your ring."

Kez smiled, her shiny white teeth sparkling against the light. "I'm just- I'm just trying to process that." She shook her head, a light scoff leaving her mouth. "You think you are my superior? Do you know who I am? Go up to anyone who doesn't watch this sport and ask who I am, and they will tell you. I'm bigger than this sport, and certainly bigger than you. I'm fucking Keziyah, and that means more than anything you will ever do in your life. Do not undermine me like I am child. I could leave this place and still be the most influential person in the world, can you?"

The room was engulfed with silence amongst her powerful words. He didn't dare open his mouth to speak on her again. Some of the others held smug looks, all glad they got to witness someone shut Christian up for once. And by a black woman, so that made it just so much better. Jae-hyun had a smug but proud look on his face that basically said, "yeah, that's my daughter motherfuckers."

Once the room was filled with the reporters, they got started, but the suffocating tension was noted. Christian got the first question and then the others got some as well. Then, Keziyah got one. One look at the reporter who stood up and she knew he was gonna say something really fucking stupid. "What do you say about being a distraction to the drivers and teams in Formula 1?" He questioned. "A distraction? I'm confused. Could you explain to me how I am possibly a distraction to the drivers?"

"Your physical appearance can be misleading, like how you aren't wearing a shirt over your already inappropriate dress," he mustered out.

"I'm sorry! Are my tits offending you?" Kez smiled sarcastically, her eyes glistening with annoyance.

"Can we get that guy out of here please?" Jae-hyun requested over to the security team. "Yeah, get him out. I don't wanna look at him," Fred added. Toto nods in agreement, and seeing all the big bosses agree is what made the security go to remove the guy from the room. "I'm gonna go, I don't wanna be here anymore. Not if I'm being asked dumb questions like that," Kez mutters. Jae nods and takes her hand to lead her out. If she didn't want to be there, he wasn't staying either.

"Hey, can you watch the kids for like two hours tonight? I only need two hours," Kez pleaded to her dad as they walked to the Jaguar motorhome.

"Two hours? What will you do in two hours?" He questioned, furrowing his brows in confusion.

"I need to get more gum," she shrugged, walking inside and popping another one in her mouth. "Is it a special gum that takes two hours?" Jae retorts sarcastically.

"Something like that."

"Are you fucking kidding me? Has it been two hours?" Kez scoffed, getting up from the bed and grabbing a shirt to pull over her head. "Who is it?" Lucie asked, pulling the covers over her. "Just wait in here. I'll be back." Kez rushed out, slipping on some shorts and running out of the room, shutting the door on her way out. She went to the main door and pulled it open, immediately rolling her eyes at Lewis and Kallie. They furrowed their brows as her disheveled appearance, the smell of Marijuana lingering in the air.

"What do you want? I'm busy?" Kez asked, her tone filled with impatience as she tossed a piece of gum into her mouth.

"Where's our daughter?" Lewis questioned, looking into the room and not seeing any signs of his child or hers. "She's with dad. I'll have her back in another hour. Why are you here anyways? Shouldn't you be asleep or something?" Kez scoffed, moving away from the door to pour herself a drink, so they both just made their way inside the suite. "We just wanted to check on Kamiyah before we go out," Lewis shrugged, looking around the room, noting the clothes discarded on the floor.

Kez turned on her heel, raising a brow, "go out?"

"Jennie is forcing us to have dinner together," Kallie scowled, leaning against the sofa.

Kez giggled to herself, "ah, I love that lady."

"Uh, do you got company?" Lewis questioned, dramatically gesturing to the discarded clothes on the floor. "Those are mine," Kez mumbled. He raised a brow, leaning down to pick up the Nike sneakers that were far too small to be Keziyah's. "I highly doubt you wear a size 5," he deadpanned. Kallie rolled her eyes, already so used to these things with Kez. It ended when she married Will, and now her old habits were starting up again.

"You're a slut," Kallie stated boredly.

"Thank you," Kez smiled sarcastically, raising her middle finger.

The door to the bedroom suddenly opened, Lucie stood at the doorframe with the duvet wrapped around her naked frame. "Uh, should I go? Are you busy?" Lewis and Kallie both shared a look, equally feeling like they were interrupting. "Nah, they were just leaving, ma." Kez smiled, giving the couple a pointed look.

"Does Mum know you're slipping back into old habits?" Kallie asked, not moving an inch whilst Lewis was already making his way to the door. "We're not doing this. Leave. Now. Or I'll make you." Kez stated strictly, leaving no room for argument. "You're a mess, Keziyah." Kallie scoffed, walking over to the door as her sister just smiled in annoyance.

"What was that all about?" Lucie questioned, dropping the duvet to walk over to Kez.

"Just my sister getting on my ass when she has a lot more problems than I do," Kez shrugged, grabbing her glass of Hennessey. "Can I do anything to help?" Lucie asked with gentleness, reaching her hand up to set on Kezie's cheek. She inhaled sharply, setting her hand over Lucie's- just to pull it off. "I'm sorry. You have to go. My kids will be here soon. I just remembered, I'm sorry." She spoke apologetically.

Lucie sighed in disappointment, begrudgingly nodding her head, "I get it. I uh- I had a really good time."

Kez nods, her eyes falling on her drink as Lucie changed into her clothes. "Am I gonna see you again?" She asked, sliding on her shoes and brushing her hair from her face. "If God wants us to," Kez replied, shrugging her shoulder softly. That was more her way of saying 'no' but still giving some hope. She looked up upon hearing the door shut, and sighed heavily, of course Kallie had to ruin her mood with one little comment.

Kallie knew she could do that. She knew she could hurt her sister. Kez may have acted tougher and arrogant, but deep down, she always wanted her sister's approval. She looked up to Kallie. She admired her. Kallie was strong, and she wasn't afraid to speak her mind. When Kez was a kid, she was sweet and kind, and overall just the biggest softie ever. Until she went to school, and liked a girl...her "best friend." Obviously the feelings weren't reciprocated.

Her admiration for Kallie first came when she got food thrown on her by a bully and Kallie smacked them with her food tray without an ounce of hesitation. Kallie was constantly protecting her even if she was much smaller than Kez. So if Kallie was disappointed in her, it ruined her until she addressed it. And unfortunately, her ego was far too big to address it at this exact moment. For someone with several PhD's, she was being really stupid.

She grabbed her phone, and walked to the bedroom, setting her stuff down to change the sheets. Now, she had to wait half an hour for the kids to come back and cheer her up with their cute little faces. Fantastic.

"I can't believe you almost got us killed!" Lewis cackled, stumbling into the hotel room behind her.

"I did not! He was the one who challenge me!" Kallie retorts, jumping around as she tried to kick off her shoes. "It feels like we're twenty all over again," he comments, setting his hands on her arms to steady her so she didn't topple over trying to remove her shoes. They had just returned from dinner, but on the way back, they got challenged by a guy in Ferrari who recognized them. Lewis told her not to do it because the streets were busy, but she did it because she wasn't about to be a pussy. Let's just say- she was glad the people on the bus were all safe.

"What can I say? I don't turn down a challenge," Kallie giggled, turning around, almost tripping over her feet but he caught her. She paused, now beginning to notice how close they were- as in his face was inches away from hers. His hands wrapped around her body, a small yelp leaving her lips when he pulled her body into his. No room left in between them.

His lips brushed over hers, her breath hitching slightly. She blinked and in a quick second, she pulled herself away from him. "That's not- it's against the rules," she stammered out.

"No, she said no sex. She didn't say anything about kissing." Lewis corrected knowingly. "It's still wrong. We can't, or you'll think too much into it." Kallie stated, just speaking whatever came to mind because she was clearly lying off her ass in denial. "You sure about that cause it seems like you're the one thinking too much into it. I'm chill over here." Lewis shrugs, pulling off his jacket to put away.

"No, no, no, you're doing it again. You act all calm and chill and I let my guard down and then you seduce me again! I'm not falling for it." She said, mostly just convincing herself because he honestly didn't believe her at all. "Seduce you? How do I seduce you?" He questioned, leaning against the doorframe with a small smile on his lips, but all she could focus on was his very shirtless body. "You- you, you're doing it again!" She scoffed, hitting his chest and moving past him to enter the bathroom.

He snickered, turning around and watching as she switched on the water to the shower. "You no showering with me so go away," Kallie shooed him away with an eye roll.

"Rude," he scoffed.

"Hey, Ma," Kez grinned, throwing her arm around Neela's shorter frame. "I told you stop calling me that," Neela scolded, smacking her arm off. "Aw come on, Neels, it's not everyday you look stress free," Kez jokes, putting her arm back. "Yes well, I'm here to enjoy the race. Let's just hope your sister doesn't put me in a PR nightmare again." Neela replied, setting her hand on Kezie's upper back.

Kallie and Max got sent out at the same time during qualifying and they made contact which would cause a crash between them. Kallie's got the worst of the crash, her car smashing into the barriers at full force, and a second later being hit again when Max's car slides through the gravel and goes into her. She got the penalty for "causing a collision" when Max had clearly been the one to turn into her.

She ended up making some pretty harsh comments about it during the post race interviews. Kez could recite her sister's blunt words perfectly. Kallie said, "I'm extremely pissed off about it. I think it was completely unnecessary. Had it been during the race I would get it, but this just catch me off guard. Ya know, I'm starting to see what Lewis went through in 2021. Though, unlike him, if this kid wants to push me, I'm not afraid to push back. If I get the penalty for collision I didn't cause, that will tell you all you need to know."

"She'll be on her best behavior, I promise," Kez smiled tightly, though it wasn't very convincing.

"I'm still recovering from that shit you pulled during the conference. How could you not know they were live?" Neela scowls, hitting Kezie's arm off again and elbowing her in the ribs. "Ow! How was I supposed to know? And come on, that old cunt deserved it. Lewis didn't care either. He's cool with the Ferrari rumors floating around. Maybe it might smack some sense into him. Mercedes treats him like shit. I was just saying what everyone else was already thinking." Kez defended.

"That doesn't make it any better. You also shit talked the FIA, don't leave that out. They already don't like your family as it is." Neela rambled, walking down to the parking lot to meet with her wife so they could enjoy the race together. "And? They gotta put up with it cause we're good publicity and good money. We bring in more eyes to the sport, so they not gonna risk getting rid of us. You got nothing to worry about, ma."

"What did I say about calling me that? I'm not one of your little girlfriends." Neela scolded, rolling her eyes in annoyance. The headache this girl gave her was astounding.

"Fine, what can I call you? You won't let me call you Mama no more," Kez said, smiling down at the older woman. "Because I'm almost twenty years older than you. I don't need reminders of it. I'm already getting eye wrinkles and you stressing me out with these old habits isn't helping. You should talk to a therapist like you made your sister do." Neela advised with a very pointed look.

"I don't need a shrink. I already went through all that shit." Kez said, shrugging her shoulder.

Neela wasn't given a chance to argue when she noticed the familiar car park next to Kezie's. A tall woman climbed out, around the same height as Keziyah only Kez appeared taller because of her heels. Neela excitedly ran into her arms, the woman was a couple years younger, but she looked far younger than she was. Neela didn't exactly look her age either. Everyone assumed she was in her late 30s.

"Heyyy, Di," Kez greeted, gulping nervously.

Obviously they got along, as Kez was the reason Neela and Dianne even met. But Dianne was very protective of her wife, and she didn't exactly enjoy when Kez stressed her wife out with more petty drama. Dianne was previously a basketball player for the Indiana Fever in the WNBA, and now she was playing for the Washington Mystics. Neela met her through Kez because obviously Kez was a big basketball fan so she went to many games with her and met Dianne when everyone was coming to take pictures with Kez after the game.

"You ain't gon' stress my wife out today, are you?" Dianne questioned, putting her arm around Neela's waist.

"For sure," Kez smiled, and Neela cleared her throat. The singer nods, pulling out the paddock pass and handing it to Dianne. "I'll show you around," Kez turned on her heel, leading them back to the paddock. "Where's Badru at?" Neela asked, noticing his lack of presence. "He's watching the kids. He wants the practice for when the baby comes," Kez answered.

She scanned her pass and entered the paddock before tucking it back into her pocket. "So...how's NaLyssa doing?" She asked, turning to look at Dianne. The woman shot her an annoyed look, "please be serious. She want nothin' to do with you no more." Kez chuckled, shaking her head, "did she tell you that? She was just texting me last night saying the exact opposite. It's such an ego boost when they come back for more."

Neela sighed in exasperation, "Kez, can you please filter your mouth today?"

Kez sighed in defeat, pushing her hair back, "I'll do my best. Just for you."

They walked into the Jaguar hospitality and sat down at a table. Neela went off to get some drinks and snacks as Kez and Dianne stayed at the table. "How is Engstler settling in with the switch?" Kez questioned, breaking the awkward silence that had floated around. "Emily? Since when do you ask about her?" Dianne shot back, her brows knitted in confusion.

"I can't just be curious?" Kez scoffed, messing with the rings on her fingers.

She scoffed incredulously, "it's never just curiosity with you, Kez." The singer just shrugged nonchalantly with a small smile. "What do you want with the rookie anyways?" She queried. Kez smiled smugly, and Dianne sighed, taking a guess. "When did you even find the time to meet her?" She asked in exasperation. "I think we ran into each other in Miami, but I was drunk so I'm not completely sure if it was her," she replied.

"Miami? Oh shit. Dammit Kez. She was in Miami visiting a friend that weekend. She told us all about it. Did y'all meet in the hotel elevator?" Kez smiled at the confirmation and nodded, "nice to finally have confirmation. I was driving myself insane." Neela approached the table, her wife still processing the previous information as she set down the drinks and pastries. "What are you two talking about?"

"Apparently, just Kez hooking up with the rookie." Dianne shrugged sarcastically, and Kez chuckled softly in amusement. "Again?" Neela groaned, shooting the singer a glare. "I didn't know who she was! That's not my fault," Kez defended. "She knew who you were," Di added with a cackle, receiving a glare from her wife so she quickly shut up by stuffing her face with a muffin.

"What's her name again? I need to make sure this doesn't get out," Neela said, pulling out her phone and going into manager mode, clearly.

"Relax, she's not gonna say anything. She's not the type. Put your phone away before I lock it up in the garage," Kez said, and Neela frowned, tucking her phone back into her purse. Suddenly, Kaylen plopped down in the chair next to his sister, a muffin in his hand and a donut sticking out of his mouth. "What's up?" He spoke whilst chewing on the donut. "Don't speak with food in your mouth," Kez scolded.

"Okay, Mom," Kaylen mocked, imitating an American accent.

"You wish I was. If Mum saw that she'd smack you backwards," Kez retorts, hitting his arm.

"When is Kara showing up to a race?" Dianne questioned.

"Silverstone. Whole fam gonna be there," Kaylen informed. "Don't remind me," Kez muttered in disdain, taking a bite of her chocolate muffin. Dianne furrowed his brows in confusion so Kaylen clarified it. "The ex will be there." She still feigned confusion, "okay, which one?" Kez snorts in amusement, allowing Neela to reply, "Will. The ex-husband, remember?"

"Ohh, you right. That sounds like a disaster. I'm glad I ain't gon' be there," Dianne laughs.

"You guys see Kallie and Lewis arguing in the parking lot earlier?" Kaylen asked with a small laugh. "What? Again? What's it about this time?" Kez questioned, giggling softly for a split second and stopping because she didn't like giggling like that in public. "They forgot some luggage at the hotel and started blaming each other. They argue for like a full thirty minutes before finally leaving to go get the forgotten luggage."

"She's so uptight these days, no?" Neela pondered, because she personally hadn't seen anything unusual from Lewis. It was only Kallie who was acting differently.

"We think she's still in the denial phase. I'm sure it'll pass when she realizes they have to share a vacation together," Keziyah answered with a bright grin filled with pure amusement. "Vacation? Oh yeah, she gon' break soon for sure. I'm gay but that is a good lookin' dude she's got." Dianne said, causing Kez to chuckle at her blunt words. "He's not that attractive," Kaylen scoffed, receiving pointed looks from the three women.

"Being a hater ain't cute. He's part of the family whether you like it or not. No need to be protective brother. He's not an asshole like the others." Kez said, patting her brother's back. "I guess he's better than Nyck," Kaylen snorts, getting some laughs from them, all nodding in agreement because they knew the story of Kallie and Nyck from the beginning to the end. They were on good terms now, but that certainly didn't change their history that was- and still is, a very popular topic in motorsports.

"Did Kallie seem pissed about the penalty?" Kez questioned towards her brother as he had spent the most time with her.

"Oh yeah, she broke a hotel vase. Dad had to calm her down." Kaylen answered, taking a big bite out of his chocolate chip muffin. "Y'all do realize Kallie is gon' go through the same shit Lewis did in 2021, right? This Max kid plays very dirty when he actually has a challenge. He's the type to take you out if you in his way. And Kallie will play fair, sure, but the second she gets pushed too far, she's gon' play the same game. It's gon' get real dangerous soon. This is only the beginning." Dianne stated with expertise.

"How do you know so much about the way they drive?" Kez questioned, crossing her arms over her chest, head tilted as her eyes glistened with curiosity. "My lil' sis is obsessed with everything motorsport. If I'm not getting a daily rant about brocedes, lestappen, or kalnyck, then it's about how much she hates Red Bull and everything they did to Lewis and are gon' do to Kallie," Dianne answered, shrugging her shoulders nonchalantly.

"I'm obsessed with brocedes lore," Kaylen smirked, getting a snort from his sister.

"'Cause you gay," Kez joked, patting his shoulder as she stood up. "You're dressed like a bisexual witch. I wouldn't be talking," Kaylen shot back swiftly. "Ah ah, I'm dressed like a hot bisexual witch. Get it right," she corrected, leaning forward to grab her energy drink. "Still a witch," he rebutted. She smacked the back of his head and ran off before he could retaliate.

"Contact between Yeong-Su and Verstappen into the final corner! Verstappen gets away from it, but Kalliope is out of the race! Max Verstappen goes on to win the Canadian Grand Prix! What a battle!"

A small thud snapped her out of her dream, cries filled the room as she quickly sat up, no longer asleep. She quickly got up, running over to the cries. There sat Kami on the floor, sobbing as the end of the Selena movie was playing on the television. "How many times have I told you to not watch that movie? You always end up crying." She groaned, picking Kami up from the floor as she had rolled off. Lewis was passed out on the couch, snores leaving him.

Kami sniffles, laying her head on her mum's chest and closing her eyes to fall asleep. Kallie smiled softly, taking Kami and laying her on the bed. She walked back over to sofa and bent down, tapping Lew on the cheek. He groaned, grabbing her arm and pulling her onto him. She yelped, falling onto his body. He wrapped his arms around her body to wrap her in, adjusting his position to get more comfortable.

"Lew, let me go," she whined, trying to push his arms off.

"No. You're gonna scold me for letting her stay up so late." He murmured against her neck, his breath fanning over the back of her ear, shivers going down her spine. "Obviously. Do you realize what time it is?" She scowled, wiggling around to get out of his grip but it was really no use. She just gave up, going limp into his arms as he smiled in content.

After a minute, he broke the silence first. "You still upset about the race?"

"I was embarrassed in front of my daughter. Of course I'm still upset," she muttered, her voice tainted with defeat. She wasn't even mad. She just felt embarrassed. Everyone was scared she'd make a big scene or make blunt comments during the interview but she didn't at all. She was just blank. Nobody had ever seen her like that. Nobody except Lewis and Nico. They only seen it once, and it was after a race that Kallie really needed to win. She spun off at the last lap and was completely blank the rest of the day. Her dad wasn't there that time, so his best friend- Lewis's dad, was there to assure her.

"Can I do anything to help?" He whispered softly into her ear, his thumbs rubbing small circles onto her clothed stomach.

"No. It'll pass on it's own," she replied swiftly.

"Promise me you won't do something stupid next week," he mumbled against her neck, leaving a small peck there. "Why? Don't want me to embarrass you in your home race?" She scoffed lowly. He shook his head softly, "no, I just don't want you to hurt yourself trying to prove a point. They'll get what's coming to them. You don't need to stoop to their level. You don't have to play dirty to win."

She turned her body around, her tired eyes meeting his. "Except I do. That's the only way this kid is gonna listen. You played fair and look where that get you, Lewis. I am not losing this championship race. If they want to play dirty, I can play dirtier. I can handle myself. This isn't the first arrogant boy I've come across." Lewis sighed, his thumb brushing over her cheek. "I know you'll do whatever you want regardless, but before you make some crazy decision, think about our daughter."

She didn't reply, just sighing and closing her eyes, her hand still pressed against his compass tattoo. She didn't feel like getting into this, so she had to change the subject. Thankfully, her life was quite interesting thanks to Jennie's oh so wonderful solution to get Kallie and Lewis to bond on a different level that didn't include sex. "Have you decided where we're going for vacation?" She questioned, the TV light bright enough for her to see his brown eyes, and obviously his long eyelashes that somehow always looked better than hers.

"Decided? I already planned the whole trip. Even rented out a house for us." Lewis answered, running his hand under her shirt, his fingers tracing the tattoo along her spine. He had the whole thing memorized. How did she know? She could feel it. He traced it perfectly as if he was the tattoo artist. "Seriously? Where are we going?" She asked incredulously.

"Brazil," Lewis smiled knowingly.

"Oh? Is that where you plan to make me fall in love with you?" She asked jokingly, fingers lightly tapping on his chest.

"Yes, it is, actually," Lewis nods, shrugging his shoulder.

"I was joking. That's never happening." She scoffed, getting up from the sofa, his hands falling from her frame. "You're so right, because you are already in love with me. Brazil is where I will help you uncover those feelings," he said with a smug smirk. She rolled her eyes, taking the throw blanket from the bed and throwing it at him. "You are sleeping on the sofa tonight," she scowled.

"I was technically already sleeping on the sofa," Lewis replied mockingly, receiving a pillow thrown at his face. "Ow."
