Chapter 15 ~ Superfan99 Stole Our Sammy

Episode: Season 7 - Season Seven, Time For a Wedding! Pt. 2

"Shouldn't she ask for my permission or something?" Dean ranted, pacing across the floor of the chapel.

Sam scoffed, smirking at his older brother, "You-you want her to ask for my hand?"

"How in the-? How did this happen?" Dean sighed, shaking his head.

"Short version? We-we met, we ate and then talked and fell in love. And, you know, here we are," Sam beamed happily.

"Yeah. I guess I'm all caught up. That's- okay, you know what? Ignoring everything - have you forgotten the life span of your girlfriends?"

"Low-blow, Dean," I pointed out, arching an eyebrow as I watched all of this from my seat in the front row.

"Yeah. But-" Sam started but Becky beat him to the punch.

"But if anyone knows that, it's me. I mean, I read every book. So open eyes, you know? Open eyes," Becky beamed over at Sam.

I felt a little bit of my lunch come back up into my throat and I glanced at Dean who looked as green as I did from all of this.

"I'm gonna be sick," he muttered, shaking his head.

"Dean, it's simple. If something good's happening, I gotta jump on it now. Today. Period," Sam interjected.

"Okay, Dead Poets Society. Fine. No offense, did you make sure she's even really-"

"Salt, holy water, everything. See?" Becky interrupted Dean, holding out her arm so that he could see the cut mark on it, "Not a monster. Just the right girl for your brother. That's it,"

A man came up then, wanting money to pay for this whole thing and Becky quickly grabbed up her wallet, walking off with the man.

"I got it. You two do your brother thing..." she called over her shoulder happily.

Sam smiled after her like a love-sick puppy.

"Really? Superfan 99?!" Dean screeched at his younger brother once Becky was out of ear-shot.

"Dean, look, honestly, had the exact same opinion of her as you do but when we got past the whole book thing I found out that she's great and I was the jerk," Sam protested.

"Yeah, speaking of the whole, uh, book thing Becky randomly shows up during Vegas week?"

"Yeah," Sam nodded in response.

"Yeah," Dean said, insinuating.

"Okay, um, what are you trying to say?"

"I'm saying maybe she knew you were gonna be here. Maybe, uh, uh, Chuck wrote about it,"

"And you're paranoid,"

"And you're in love? It's been four days, man!" Dean snapped.

"You know what? Dean, you know what, um - how about this? Becky and I are gonna go up to her place in Delaware. Um, why don't you try and wrap your dome around this, get a little supportive then give us a call." Sam said, smiling as he patted his brother on the shoulder briefly before walking over to Becky, slinging across her shoulder as they left.

Dean turned to me, green eyes wide in shock.

I threw my hands up in the air in exasperation, "Don't ask me. He's been like that the past four days. By the way, they just got engaged yesterday,"

"Yesterday? Seriously?!" Dean said in a rage.

"See? This is exactly why I called you - I don't know what to do with him, Dean. Something's wrong. None of this is normal behavior for Sammy and you know it," I said, crossing my arms over my chest as I chewed my bottom lip nervously.

I noticed Dean's eyes flick down to my lips briefly before he cleared his throat, "You were right to call me. We have to help Sam out of this-this-this mess he's gotten himself in,"

I nodded, humming in response.

"And find a way to get Becky out of the picture. Hopefully, for good. There's something really off about that girl, I'm telling you."
