● Markus used to be the defender of Heaven that would vanquish any demons who dared try to enter on his watch, but fell when he refused to obey an order. He refused to kill a baby who was deemed to be a time anomaly and actually ended up taking her away to earth and adopting her, hiding away from his father's forces.

● Markus still loves his father dearly, but will not kill an innocent child who hasn't been given a chance to show her true colors.
