"Sooo, how attracted are you to me right now?" Ophelia asked as she did a spin into the Alvarez apparent, stopping infront of Lydia, Elena, and Syd.

"I get it! Because sirens are known for seduction." Syd said as they pointed to Ophelia costum, the scaly skirt and the green tank top with fake sea weed draped around her.

"Oph, you look great." Elena said to her with a grin as Ophelia smiled back.

"Oh, white child, you look maravillosa!" Lydia announced while going to Ophelias side to wrap her in a hug.

"Elena! Put this outside." Lydia added in as she held out the pumpkin toward Elena, who sighed.

"With that bobo in the white house I can't stand to look at a orange face right now." Elena sighed loudly while Ophelia poked at the basket of candy on the table.

"He's like a pumpkin, he'll get thrown out in November." Lydia shrugged her shoulders as the sound of the door opening made them all look over.

"Well, guess what we are?" Schneider asked as him and Avery stood infront of the two dressed in a unreable costume.

"A reminder to shave my legs?" Lydia asked with a fearful look at Schneider's extremely hairy costume.

"No, come on! This is serious." Schneider sighed loudly while giving a pout.

"The big bad wolf and grandma?" Ophelia guesses from the table.

"It's okay babe, they just need a hint." Avery explained while walking to the middle of the living room and standing on one leg.

"Okay, okay. You are a cow, and you have stepped in the cow caca." Lydia said with a grin as Ophelia gasped.

"She got it!" Ophelia announced while clapping her hands.

"Goat Yoga!" Schneider explained toward the two with a wave of his hands before falling onto the couch.

"He's got a lot riding to win tonight's halloween contest at the echo park country club." Avery said as she walked toward the four.

"We have a country club in echo park?" Elena asked in shock.

"Oh no, it's the Beverly Hills country club. They just call it Echo Park on halloween to make it sound scary." Avery correct with a grin and a wave of her hand.

"Oh yeah, i'm shaking in my boots." Ophelia said sarcastically as Avery ran a hand through the small girls hair.

"I've never won. But this year I can't lose because I have Avery in my life. And i'm finally in a loving relationship." Schneider explained while he kissed the woman making her giggle as Ophelia gagged.

"Ugh, love. Disgusting, isn't it?" Ophelia asked as she looked toward Elena and Syd, who where being lovable to.

"I miss love." Ophelia said while throwing his head down into the table, the loud bang making her groan.

"And couples costume always win! The prize is a ipad mini and I never win anything!" Schneider added in as Ophelia sat up and rubbed her forehead.

"Dad, you already have one of those." she pointed out with a odd look.

"You've a rich, straight, cis gender, white dude, you've won at life!" Elena explained to him with a crazy look.

"But I want another ipad mini." Schneider pouted as Avery rubbed his back comfortingly.

"Ouuu, what are you? Little Bow Peep and a messed up sheep?" Penelope asked as she walked into the apartment, looking at Schneider and Avery.

"Come on, lets go back to our apartment." he explained with a sigh, dragging Avery out of the small door frame.

"It's a halloween miracle!" Penelope announced with a smile as she shut the door behind them.

"Mom, we're gonna go now." Elena said as she stopped infront of the women.

"Woah, you two look great. This is a lot better then last years toxic drinking water and tumor costume." Penelope said to the couple as Ophelia snorted.

"Yeah, we really bummed out that senior center." Syd explained with a sigh.

"Have fun, babies!" Ophelia called out as Elena and Syd left with a wave. Penelope gave a odd look toward the girl, who was currently humming a halloween song and popping gummy worms into her mouth.

"Ophie, what are your plans for Halloween?" Penelope asked her with a odd look as Ophelia snapped her head up.

"Oh you know, hang out here with you or something." Ophelia explained as Penelope raised her eyebrows at her words.

"Lupita, you look so happy! Did you enjoy your walk?" Lydia asked as she hugged the pumpkin while approaching her daughter.

"Walk?" Penelope asked confused.

"Of shame!" Lydia shouted while pointing a finger in the woman's face. Ophelia laughed loudly while aiming the gummy worm straight for Penelope, throwing it as it landed in her shirt.

"I know you where with Max doing hanky panky!" Lydia explained as Penelope gave her a look.

"If you were, you're the luckiest woman alive, Pen." Ophelia said to the woman with a point of her finger.

"Mami, I don't know what you're talking about. We were knitting sweaters and reading the bible." Penelope said as she put her hands in a praying position.

"What is wrong with you? I would have broken him down like a card bored box." Lydia explained, shaking her hips.

"Put this outside." Lydia added in as she gave Penelope the pumpkin in her arms. Ophelia watched Penelope walk toward the door, pulling it open, finding a back and a head of grey hair clearing kissing on someone.

"Ugh, take is somewhere else you old creepy!" Penelope explained with a annoyed tone as the figure turned around, revealing it was Alex with Nora by his side.

"Hey Mom." he explained while dragging Nora into the apartment. Ophelia cleared her throat as she sat up better, pushing the candy away from her quickly.

"Look at that hair! What's your costum? Anderson Cooper?" Penelope asked him as Ophelia bit her lip to hide her laugh.

"I don't know who that is." Alex shook his head with a eyebrow raise.

"Doesn't he look like he could be in a boy band?" Nora asked with a nod of her head.

"Yeah, boy to old men." Penelope explained as Ophelia couldn't help but laugh this time.

"Hey, I like your costum." Nora explained as she focused her gaze on Ophelia now, Alex taking a step back with a awkward look.

"Oh, thanks." Ophelia said to her with a forced smile before casting her eyes down once again.

"Wait, this isn't my costum. I dyed my hair." Alex explained to Penelope, taking the attention off the two girls.

"Permanently?" Ophelia asked with wide eyes.

"Extremely permanently." Alex nodded her way before looking at Penelope again.

"How could you do that without asking me?" Penelope asked him with a scoff.

"Well, to be fair, it is his hair." Ophelia explained as Penelope held a finger up to her, making Ophelia nod her head and go silent again.

"I did ask you! I said, Mom, on halloween, can I dye my hair silver." Alex explained with a odd look her way.

"Why would you use Halloween in that sentence? That is so miss leading." Penelope said to him with a shaky of her curls.

"Papito, what have you done?" Lydia asked with a gasp as she walked out of the kitchen.

"You look just like your Abuelo. Tonight I will put you in his suit and we will dance." Lydia gushed while hugging him tightly as Penelope threw her arms up in disbelief.

"Oh, i've made a big mistake." Alex said with a odd look as Lydia continued to hug him tightly.

"Yeah you did. And we'll talk about it later when you get back from trick or treating." Penelope said as she waved him off.

"Yeah, I think i'm over that." Alex said with a laugh as Penelopes face fell.

"Wait, so you're done trick or treating? Was last year your last year? Why didn't you tell me?" Penelope asked him with a shake of her head.

"How could I tell you last year was the last year if I didn't know till this year?" Alex asked her with wide eyes.

"Wait, you guys aren't gonna be hanging out around here then, right?" Ophelia asked in a panic as she stood up quickly.

"Noras parents are having a party, don't worry, you get to watch the Batchelor on our dvr without sneaking in at three in the morning." Alex said to her with a grin.

"Don't worry, he'll be home in time to take his orthridus pills." Nora said to Penelope as she laughed.

"That's a good one. Yes you can go to Noras house, but make sure you're home in time to spoon your grandmother." Penelope said to Alex with a knowing look.

"Ophelia, you should come with us." Nora gushed as she looked toward the shorter girl, who began to shake her head violently.

"Come on, my cousin Caleb has taken a liking to you." Nora said with a teasing look as Ophelia gave a confused one back.

"Caleb? How does this Caleb know about me?" Ophelia asked her with a frown if her eyebrows.

"Oh, the first family diner Alex came to all he did was talk about and show us pictures of you the whole time." Nora explained as Ophelia looked to Alex , who slapped his forehead and look away.

"You know, I think i'll just stay-" Ophelia began before Penelope started to push her toward the two.

"Yes! The three of you leave! Go to the party! Take Ophie! Introduce her to Caleb! Maybe don't! Take her!" Penelope explained while shoving the three out the door.
