lunch came around so quickly and i was happy because i missed seeing juliana's face. i literally ran out of the school and there i saw juliana waiting at her car.

"wendys to–"

"–billie tried to kiss me that's why i had a panic attack,"

juliana looked at me with wide eyes when i cut her off and told her the real reason about my panic attack since billie told kylie so i just though it was only fair.

we got into the car in silence and she just looked at me.

"i knew it wasn't about the dark," she spoke up and i nodded my head. "did she touch you in a way that triggered you?"

"it reminds me of him," i told her and she looked at me with a sly smile. "i guess she told kylie the real reason why i had a panic attack and kylie told her i was off limits but billie said she doesn't care .. and i told her i can't like anybody y'know? like i can't and don't want to. and surprisingly she respected it,"

"why is it a surprise? billie seems like a nice person," juliana said to me.

"she's just so intimidating. her tattoos, the way she dresses, her jewelry .. " i reminded her and she just shrugged. "can we just go to chipotle?"

she nodded her head and she began driving the ten minute drive to chipotle. around our school, we had a mall close to us and around the mall was different food places and instead of it being in the mall, it was on the outside and it was really cool, especially during the summer with fountains and the cute cherry blossoms and flowers that bloomed.

she told me to stay in the car while she goes get our order and i seen that there was a lot of people and she knew i hated big crowds.

i connected my phone to her bluetooth and began playing believe it by PARTYNEXTDOOR and rihanna and then i got a text from kylie.

i furrowed my eyebrows and this confused me because she never really cared about where i went for lunch because she was always with her friends.

i made a confused face when i read her message and then a matte black dodge challenger parked next to me and the windows rolled down and i saw kylie in the passenger seat with billie in the drivers seat and the green haired girl couldn't keep her eyes off of me.

"where's juli?" my older sister asked me.

"she's inside getting our order. she knows i don't really like being around people," i told her and she nodded. "where are your friends?"

"i'm her only friend. she knows that," billie responded and kylie rolled her eyes. "hi kaylani,"

"hi billie,"

kylie looked between us with billie smirking and i just had a straight face but i was freaking out on the inside. why? i don't have one clue.

i heard footsteps and i turned my head and saw juliana running with our food in the bag and the drinks in her hand. she came to my window and handed me the drinks and bag and she got in the car and waved to kylie and billie.

"i flirted with the person at the register and he gave me this food for free," juliana told us and we all laughed. "yo. when i tell you he was fine, mans was fine! gotta flirt your way out of free shit ladies,"

"yo, there's a party on friday, y'all gonna come?" billie asked us three as she showed kylie something on her phone.

"who's throwing it?" kylie asked and billie shrugged. "i'm down, i don't care,"

"if kaylani doesn't go, i'm not going," juliana said, drinking her soda and they all looked at me.

my best friend looked at me and then billie and she didn't miss how billie was just straight up looking into my soul as i was staring into hers.

"ky, come into chipotle with me again. i'm boutta go get this dudes number and there was another sexy ass worker there,"

she looked at me and winked. and of course when kylie heard that, she flew out the car and the two went into chipotle which left billie in her car and me in juliana's.

a few seconds later, billie turned off her car and she came into the drivers seat of juliana's and she just looked at me.

"what?"

"i'm sorry for earlier when i caused a scene," she apologized to me and i nodded my head. "and i'm sorry for pressuring you and asking you so many questions about why you can't get to know me. i respect that you're straight. also, sorry for making you have a panic attack on friday,"

"you don't have to apologize. you simply didn't know," i reminded her.

"and that's what pisses me the fuck off kaylani," she responded aggressively, like she was mad at herself. "okay. listen. i don't know what in the fuck you do to me and i don't know how i caught feelings for you so easily, it's really shocking because i'm not the type to catch feelings quick,"

"you have feelings for me?"

"yes," she said with a nod. "i just feel different around you. i mean they do say lesbians move fast so, maybe that explains why i caught feelings for you so fast,"

"but you don't know me,"

"i know and that's exactly what pisses me off," she ran her fingers through her hair and licked her lips and i can't lie and say that didn't look sexy, because it did. "so i'll back off from my feelings and let's say we be friends?"

"i'll like that," i responded and she smiled, showing off her dimples.

"come to the party on friday. i'll pick you, kylie and juliana up," she said to me.

"juliana isn't spend the weekend with me. she spends the weekend with me one week and the other week she doesn't and then the week after that she do–"

"–kaylani," billie chuckled and i blushed from my rambling. "i'll just pick her up at her house, that's fine,"

"okay,"

"let me get your number," she grabbed my phone and put it on my face and then the phone unlocked. she went to contacts and added in her number and put in her contact name as 'bil <3' and i laughed at it since she didn't pull a real heart.

she texted herself from my phone and she saved my contact as 'lani 💗'

"i will text you and you better respond, okay?"

i nodded my head and she smiled. she got out the car and got back into her car and then a few seconds later, i see kylie and juliana running back to us.

"we got new boo thangsss!" kylie squealed and billie and i just chuckled at them.

fourth period was starting in fifteen minutes and we can eat during fourth period so we didn't stress about eating before making it to class.

kylie and billie had their fourth period together while juliana and i didn't have classes at all together which as i said, completely sucked.

fourth period was totally boring me out. i finished eating my bowl from chipotle and i had english for fourth period and the teacher had no clue on what she was talking about and she talked so slow.

i felt my phone vibrate beneath my thighs and i lifted my thigh and picked up my phone and i smiled when i read who texted me.

hey guys i'm back !!

i know i've been gone and haven't been updating this book and my other book. i totally apologize and i miss you guys very very much and i miss writing.

but, since wattpad is a safe place for me and you guys are all so sweet. the reason i've been gone is because i recently lost somebody i called my brother [ not really my brother just a close friend ] july 3rd and i was meant to upload this chapter that day because it ties into chapter 3. i got the news when i was getting ready to publish it and it's been written for a few and this was kinda one of my favorite chapters.

but, yeah. i recently lost somebody really close to me and it hit me so hard. i had to take a break for a few days. i turned off my phone and disconnected from the whole world because it was so hard to speak on the topic. i've lost people when i was younger but i never really understood the word death. but now that i'm 18, it really really hurt me.

so in that case, check up on your loved ones. the happiest person can be going through so much and you wouldn't even notice. i'm upset i didn't notice what he was going through and the fact that he allowed me to tell him about my problems and not once did he vent to me about his, really upsets me because i know i could've done better.

another chapter of 'call out my name' will be uploaded tmr because that's already been written and it's a short chapter, but after that, the chapters will get longer.
