Lo'ak and Aila were walking along the shoreline as eclipse began to fall.
Lo'ak turned to Aila and gazed into her eyes as she did the same to him.
"Lo'ak. Thank you" Aila said as her cheeks started to burn.
"Your welcome. I've been wanting to do that for a while anyways." Lo'ak chuckled.
"How about we go get your cleaned up?" Aila said looking at the wounds on Lo'ak's face.
He simply shook his head positively and they walked back to Aila's hut.
Lo'ak sat down on Aila's bed as she was getting the items she needed to clean Lo'ak up.
Aila came and sat beside him, facing him. She grabbed a wet cloth and brought it up to his lip.
"Is this ok?" Aila said making sure he was comfortable.
"Yes." He responded.
Aila continued, moving up to his cheek and then his forehead.
"Does he treat you like that often?" Lo'ak broke the silence.
"Occasionally. But he's never hit me so hard."
"Wait, he's hit you before?" Lo'ak questioned.
"Yes but Lo'ak...don't go getting any ideas. I'm fine."
"Aila that's not ok, I should go beat him up for the second time."
"Don't, I don't want you getting hurt worse." Aila protested.
"Ugh fine but only since you don't want me to." Lo'ak sighed while gazing into Aila's eyes.
The looks Lo'ak gave her always gave Aila butterflies and made her cheeks burn, she tried to hide and most of the time she could but this time she couldn't anymore and she just let it show. She adverted her eyes and brought the cloth to his knuckles that were bleeding from how hard he was punching Aonung.
As she finished his hands, she put her hand on his forehead and made him tilt his head so she could get a better look of the other side, where a deep wound was. She took the cloth and placed it on the wound.
"Argh." Lo'ak groaned
Aila immediately pulled away, "sorry!"
Lo'ak grabbed her hand with the cloth and placed it back on the wound, "it's fine. It just burned a little." He said as he gave her a small smile.
Aila tore her gaze away from Lo'ak's forehead and gazed into his eyes, as she tilted her head to the side.
"Why are you looking at me like that?" Aila questioned.
"How am I looking at you?" Lo'ak said as a smirk appeared on his lips.
"Like, like your holding something back."
"What am I holding back from?"
"I don't know, I can't quite figure that part out." Aila stifled a laugh.
Aila diverted her eyes away from Lo'ak's and onto his lips. "Oh my gosh, his lips are so fricking attractive. Ugh Aila stop it!" Aila thought to herself.
She kept gazing between Lo'ak's eyes and lips and at one particular point she saw Lo'ak lick his lips and that just did something for her, the butterflies that were in her stomach intensified greatly. It felt like they were about to jump out of her stomach.
Lo'ak noticed her sudden change in emotions, "what's wrong?" He questioned.
Oh nothing."
"You sure." Lo'ak said as he licked his lips once again.
Aila barely got a head shake in, "why was he doing this, he doesn't know what that does to me. Ugh he needs to stop right now before I do something." She thought.
Lo'ak gave her a confused look and it seemed like he was starting to catch on. So, he licked his lips once again and just as he suspected, the same reaction came out of Aila.
Aila saw that he licked his lips once again and gasped, the pit of butterflies in her stomach grew larger. She began to bite her inner check, hard. She was hoping it wouldn't start to bleed from how hard she was biting on it, trying not to stupidly smile. "Why was he doing this. I think he's caught on so why does he keep doing it. I saw the smirk he gave me the last time he did it so I know that he knows that's what's making me like this." Aila thought.
Aila gazed up into Lo'ak's eyes begging for something, she didn't know what. She just knew she wanted, no needed something from him.
"Aila?" Lo'ak questioned.
"Hmm"
"Is this what you want?"
Aila was positive this what what she wanted. Lo'ak saw the hungry look in her eye. Aila couldn't help her feelings. Even if it was forbidden she wanted it. She didn't care anymore.
"Yes, Lo'ak it is."
"Are you sure because if you ask me to I will."
"Ask you to what?" Aila asked confused.
"Kiss you." Lo'ak stated gazing deep into Aila's ocean blue eyes.
"Yes Lo'ak, Kiss me. Please!" Aila said desperately.
Lo'ak smirked as he brought his hand to Aila's cheek. He pulled her closer just to where Aila could feel his breath on her cheek. Waiting there just for a little while, just so he could tell how desperate Aila was.
"Dang it Lo'ak, just kiss me. I can't wait any longer!" Aila thought.
Lo'ak gazed between Aila's eyes and lips. He knew what he was doing, making Aila wait and he enjoyed it. He wanted her to want him so desperately, she couldn't take it anymore.
"Lo'ak come on you Skxawng. Just kiss me already." She said getting more and more impatient.
"Be patient. I like making you wait." Lo'ak said with his smirk growing larger.
"Lo'ak I swear if you-" she was cut off at Lo'ak's lips colliding with hers. She leaned into the kiss, wanting it so desperately.
The kiss was passionate, they both wanted it so badly.
They both pulled away from the passionate kiss and smiled stupidly.
"You don't know how long I've wanted you to do that." Aila giggled.
"You don't know how long I've wanted to do that." Lo'ak replied.
"Just promise me one thing." Aila stated.
"Anything"
"Don't tell anyone, please."
"What about Teyam?"
"You can tell him, I trust him but no one else, okay. Please."
"Of course. I won't." Lo'ak said planting a kiss on Aila's forehead.
"Wanna go watch the ocean?" Aila questioned.
"Sure but why?"
"I just don't want to be in here when Aonung comes back." Aila said tearing her gaze away.
Lo'ak grabbed her chin and made her look at him, "I don't like it when people don't look at me when I'm talking and I understand. Let's go."
Aila giggled at Lo'ak's action with grabbing her chin, it was so attractive to her.
Lo'ak grabbed Aila's hand and walked out to the beach.
They found a tree to sit under. Lo'ak sat down first, guiding Aila down with him.
"How's your leg?" Lo'ak questioned.
"Feeling better. How about your face and your hands." Aila questioned as she grasped Lo'ak's hand, looking at the damage.
"It's fine, doesn't hurt anymore" he responded as he placed his other hand on top of Aila's.
Aila leaned her head on Lo'ak's shoulder to which he planted a kiss on her forehead.
"You know I hated not talking to you." Lo'ak commented.
"I hated it to. But I was kinda hurt when you went with Reya."
"I'm sorry Aila, I was just to scared and embarrassed to be with you." Lo'ak said as he grasped Aila's hand firmer.
"It's okay, I understand." Aila said as she yawned.
"Are you tired, love?" Lo'ak quested.
"Oh my gosh, he just called me love. I can't with this man. He so gosh darn attractive." Aila thought.
"Yeah a little." Aila answered as she lifted her head off his shoulder.
Lo'ak leaned back, his head hitting the sand. "Ok, come on." He said.
"But you need to get back, you'll be in trouble." Aila protested.
"It's fine, I would already be in trouble if I went back now so I might as well just stay."
"Ugh fine but you can't blame me." Aila giggled.
Lo'ak giggled as he wrapped his arms around Aila, that had her head on his chest.
"You know, your really warm." Aila mumbled into Lo'ak's chest.
"Oh really, hmm"
"Mhmh. I love it." Aila said as she nuzzled into Lo'ak's neck.
Lo'ak loved the feeling of Aila with him, next to him. She was also so very warm. The comforting warm he had always wanted, but never got.
Lo'ak squeezed Aila tighter, bringing her closer to him. Which she giggled into. He planted one last kiss on her temple before they both drifted off, listening to the ocean waves crash against the sand.

Two long chapters in row, you guys are lucky.
Just letting y'all know if you guys were wondering where the spicy stuff is. I DO NOT WRITE THAT. And i don't curse so don't expect anything like that. If there is like a curse word I will block it out like I did in the last chapter (ex: a**) because that is the only word I can think of to describe it but don't expect it often.
I hope you guys are enjoying it even if it doesn't have the usual stuff some of these kinds of books have, atleast the ones I've read.
What do you think of there relationship so far?
Do you think that Aila and Aonung will ever make up?
Votes and comments are appreciated!<3
