Study days were always messy when it comes to Elena. Spending all day and night just to get a good grade that no one would look at when she looks for a job. The need of having perfect grades and being the best in everything was pushed by herself. Her parents didn't really care for her grades or school, it was enough for them to pass. They were there but not there, if you understand. Elena didn't mind it most of the time - some times it gets out of control.

The girl will never forget how they forgot her birthday two years in a row. Ever since they got a job as lawyers parents Bell were less and less present. Cought up in their work to take care of their little girl. They worked at work, home - wherever they had a chance. Most of the times they are on work business out of the town so Elena stays home alone. Some days she spends them having sleepovers with her friends.

It was midnight now and millions of bright stars filled the night sky. On the streets of Swellwiev were empty with only stray animals walking around. In the distance you could see a young girl walking alone, her purple earphones in her ears. She had baggy blue jeans and a long sleeved gray hoodie. Her infamous light purple converses on her feet as she walked the dirty streets. Elena was walking to 7-eleven so she can grab a midnight snack and a peach flavored drink.

Humming to the current song that was playing Elena looked in front of her to see Captain Man and Kid Danger coming out of A 24-hour antique bottle shop. She always admired the bottles inside and couldn't take her eyes of each time she past that. Name of the shop read with pink glowing letters 'Glass from the past'.

"Captain Man! Kid Danger! What happend here?" Elena slowly took of her earphones out of her ears and glanced at the now ruined store. The cold breeze hitting her in the face while she waited for the answer. Captain Man tilted his head thinking from where's the girl familiar. Then it came to his head that she was Henry's best friend.

"There was a robbery. We stopped the criminal. What are you doing so late alone outside?" Kid Danger tried not to freak out, scared that she'll figure out his mask. Simply because of his voice, they didn't think of them running into someone who knew Henry. Ever. Elena smiled looking around, to see if there was someone else outside.

"7-eleven. It's a study day for me. I'm tired." The brunette sighed and put her hands in her jean pockets. There was silence for couple of seconds before Captain Man asked. "What's bothering you?" The brunette slightly frowned but decided to spill out her problems. They don't know her after all. So they sat on a street bench - except Henry.

"School sucks. I've barely had sleep because of it and because of my parents. They're lawyers and are barely home. They're either at work in their office or on a business trip - gone for over two weeks. Not only that, but they lately been forgetting about me. It makes me upset and sad and every other emotion there exists. I mean they forgot my birthday two years in a row - two! Who would forget their childs birthday? Apparently my parents. I love them and all, but lately they didn't act like my parents. They rather act like we know each other for only a minute. It hurts."

The teenage girl stopped and widened her eyes realizing what she just did. Just as she was about to talk Captain Man stopped her.

"It's alright to feel the way you feel. Every emotion is okay to feel, it shows that you're human. Don't blame yourself for how your parents act. It's their fault. Not yours. Remember that. It's their loss if they don't see how beautiful, nice and smart daughter they have. I mean you're awake at midnight just to study. There aren't many teenagers who do that and they should be grateful of you. Next time you feel bad about how your parents act towards you say to yourself 'It's not my fault.' And go on with your day. Don't let that bring you down. You're not the problem."

Elena looked away trying to fight the tears that were forming in her eyes. She never heard something like this in along time. Yet here she is with Captain Man comforting her about something she should be talking to her own parents about. Kid Danger wanted to say something, he wanted to comfort her but he didn't know how to without revealing that he's Henry.

"Thank you! I really needed that." Elena smiled and wiped her eyes. Looking at a time on the clock it was alrwady half past midnight. Meaning she has been here for over thirty minutes taking away time from Captain Man and Kid Danger.
"No problem, kiddo!" Captain Man side hugged the girl as they both stood up.

"What do you say we take a picture and you go to 7-eleven and finish studying?" Captain Man mentioned to his sidekick to butt in and say something. Since he was silent all this time, the older man oblivious to why.

"Yeah, we could take a picture if you want!" Elena flickered her eyes towards the younger boy recognizing the voice. She frowed and stared at the boy. Deep in her thought she tried to find who the voice belong to. It was way to familiar to be an accident. The superheros watched as the girl stared at Henry.

"I recognize your voice... Henry? Is that you?" Elena widened her eyes after connecting to who the voice belonged to. Captain Man and Kid Danger looked at each other with fear on their faces. Shocked that the girl guessed who it was.

"Zap her!" Captain Man whisper-yelled.

"No! You zap her!" Kid Danger whisper-yelled back.

"Wha-" Elena didn't get to finish her sentence when suddenly she saw black in front of her eyes. Her body felt light and she felt someone's hands preventing her from falling.

"I say we delete her memories!" Captain Man had his hands on his hips arguing with Kid Danger. They were in the Man Cave trying to think what to do.

"No, we aren't doing that! She's my best friend, Ray!" Henry yelled pointing at the girl who was chained to a wooden chair. Elena slightly opened her eyes and tried to adjust to the light. Her head hurt and she tried to move her arms but she couldn't.

Looking down she saw that she was chained so she started moving around in panic. Captain Man and Kid Danger both turned their heads towards the girl. They widened their eyes and watched as she tried to free herself. It was fascinating how she didn't see the two who were standing at the opposite side of the room.

After a while the girl jumped a little and broke the chair. For some stupid reason her legs weren't chained. Looking up she locked eyes with both of the superheros. She frowned and stared at them for couple of seconds.

"Where am I? Why am I here? And- omg you kidnapped me!" Elena started getting closer to them because she was angry. You could see anger radiating from her. Captain Man put both of his hands in front of her to stop her from going anywhere near.

"Stop, Elena! We'll explain." The young sidekick took a step closer and the brunette remembered that she said Henry's name and then everything went black. "I'm just gonna untie your hands and please don't do anything."

Elena sighed and nodded, giving a chance for the to explain. While he was untying her hands she looked around the place. It was blue and red themed with a big round couch in the middle. The place is strange but also cool in some way. What Elena could say is that it's definitely Captain Man's because of the logo where she was just standing on.

"We panicked, okay? I'm sorry that we zaped you! No one is supposed to know who we really are - even my friends. It was for privacy reasons." Elena paused and sighed. She knew that. Henry never lies to them. He tells them even if he did the most stupidest shit there exists.

"Now that you know who Kid Danger is, you need to swear to never ever tell anyone Henry's and mine secret!" Captain Man butted it, making it clear to the teenage girl in front of him. She glanced at him and nodded.

"Henry I understand! Just, you know we can keep secrets. Well, except Jasper. He'll ruin it but Charlotte and me would." Elena crossed her arms. Ray - Captain Man looked back at the girl pointing a finger at her.

"You swear!" Elena looked at him weirdly and pushed his finger away from her face. Ray yelled pretending like it hurt which made Elena roll her eyes playfully.

"Don't point a finger at me! Yes, I swear on my music passion." Henry widened his eyes and gasped. He couldn't believe that she just did that. Elena chuckled and looked up to see a lot of monitors and all cameras were opened.

"Soooo, Captain Man! Since we'll become buddies now, can you tell me your name?" Elena turned her attention back to the superhero. Now playing with her bracelet she had on her right wrist.

"I only say my personal information to those who work here, so hop away bunny!" Captain Man gestured for her to go home or wherever. The brunette gasped putting her hands on her chest, offended.

"What if I wnat to work here? I'll even clean the floors or whatever. For it to be payed pf course." Elena smiled looking at the Captain Man as he sighed. Pinching the bridge of his nose he took out his bubble gum. "Fine!"

Popping a blue balloon he returned in his normal version where there was no costume on him. He put the bubble gum back in his pocket and opened his hands. Kid Danger did it also, but Elena already saw how he looked like so she didn't look at him. "Here, my name's Ray!"

The brunette tried not to laugh, but couldn't help it. "I'm sorry, I just imagined. 'Hi! I'm Ray here to save the Day!'" Captain Man stared at her with a straight face while Elena grabbed at her stomach laughing. It wasn't even that funny but for some reason to her it did.

"Watch it or I'll erase your memories!" The teenager stopped and rolled her eyes playfully. She went over to the couch and sat down pulling out her phone.

"Okay okay! Chill man." Henry joined Elena and Ray looked at them confused. "What are y'all doing? Go home!"

"Nah! If I go home, I won't finish studying for my exam so I'll just do it here. Your fault because you kidnapped me!" Elena barked back and opened her folder with Porto Rican history she made notes in. There's also audio so she'll most likely listen to that. "I'll stay also!" Henry butted in.

"Fine, whatever! Don't make loud noises or both of you are flying out!" Ray threw his hands up in the air climbing up the stairs to the big round doors. Elena assumed it led to his bedroom or something.

"Good night, Ray!" Elena specified his name just to make fun of him. To which she got flipped off by Ray as he disappeared. Henry chuckled. Elena glanced up at him.

"Kid Danger, huh?" She smiled wiggling her eyebrows. "Girls will be all around you!"

"Shut it, El!" Henry rolled his eyes chuckling.

Originally Elena was supposed to find out that Henry's Kid Dnager in later episodes but ig this fit well
since the episode is like 20 minutes long-
She'll work there from time to time, or she'll just be present pretending to work
let's be honest, she just wanted to know aho Captain Man was 🤷‍♀️
