faye headed back to her dorm after leaving terra, she had only been back a couple of times since that night with blake, but thankfully he was gone the day after faye told her dad and ms. dowling about what happened.

ONE WEEK EARLIER

faye, riven, silva and sky stood at the entrance of the school watching blake getting into his father's car, they all had smug looks on their faces. the girl was almost close to crying from fear after seeing him, but he had cuts and bruises from riven beating the shit out of him so this made faye smugly smile.

"i really wish i got the chance to kick the shit out of him." sky turned to faye and riven. "you should've called me, mate."

"yeah well you were too busy bitching at me, so i didn't." riven replied with a shrug. "i had it under control anyways."

"i was not-"

"no arguing you two." faye interrupted. "this is a good moment. i can finally walk around school alone without the fear of seeing him. it's over."

"we're proud of you, faye." her dad smiled at his daughter.

faye smiled back at the man, faye was so grateful for her three protectors.

but what faye didn't know is that it definitely wasn't over yet.

PRESENT DAY

faye arrived at her dorm, she grabbed her keys and unlocked the door and let the door swing open.

she took in a breath, her room was dark and practically empty because the majority of her things were in riven and sky's dorm. faye sighed, she made her way to her window and opened the curtains letting light into her room.

the girl sat on her bed, her mind flooding with thoughts and memories of blake, but annoyingly enough they were good ones, times where she felt safe with him, times she was happy. when she was with blake she never thought twice of the possibility of him hurting her, but maybe she should've.

then again who would? who would think someone they cared about had the possibility to be an absolute monster deep down?

faye huffed in frustration and got into her bed pulling the covers over her body, she needed to sleep, she needed to forget about everything that happened, if only it was that easy.

...

faye slowly woke up, feeling very disoriented. she reached over to her bedside table and grabbed her phone, realising it was dead sent into a slight panic. the girl turned her alarm clock towards her, it was 11:30 pm, she got to her dorm at around 2 pm, faye had slept for a like nine hours. she didn't have her charger in her dorm either so she grabbed her things and ran to sky and riven's dorm, there was no doubt they were worried about her.

she entered the dorm and saw sky and riven talking. they spun to the girl.

"faye?" riven asked, walking over to her and pulling her into a tight hug. "where the fuck were you?"

"i went to my dorm and i fell asleep." she told him. "i'm sorry."

"i told you she would be there, riv." sky spoke, in slight annoyance.

riven pulled from the hug and turned to sky. "yeah i tried there in case but her door was locked, i was literally banging on the door." he turned back to faye. "how didn't you hear me?"

"i don't know, i've never been a deep sleeper." faye answered, she was quite confused because she didn't hear a thing.

"i'm just glad you're okay." he smiled down at the girl. "there's more burned one's and me and sky were getting worried."

sky walked over to faye, hugging her. "we tried calling and texting like a hundred times, terra was the last person who saw you and that was like nine hours ago." he told her.

"my phone was dead and my chargers here." faye told him. "i'm sorry, i didn't mean to worry you both." she apologised, looking at the ground.

"it's alright, you're safe that's all that matters." sky smiled, hugging faye tightly.

the two pulled away, sky leant down and kissed the girl on her head. "my little sister." he smiled.

"you're a year older than me, shut up." faye laughed nudging the boy. "anyways, i'm going to bed see you tomorrow."

"but you've literally been asleep for like nine hours?" riven said with confusion. "how are you still tired?" he asked.

faye shrugged and went into riven's room.

"she may as well live here at this point." sky laughed.

"pretty sure she already does, she just didn't tell us." riven added.

...

faye was currently walking through the hallways of alfea, doing nothing specific, just walking. the girl felt a mass amount of peace and safety now that blake was gone, she felt free.

the girl had gotten a text from terra, she said her and aisha were going to stop bloom from doing something, god knows what because she was very vague. so, faye met up with terra and aisha at the east wing and they waited from bloom.

"i'm so confused right now." faye whispered.

aisha shushed the girl making faye pull a face.

they saw bloom turn around the corner, bloom looked straight ahead towards two specialists who were guarding the area where beatrix was being kept.

bloom pulled out her phone and that was when the three girls went up to her.

"he's not coming." terra told bloom.

"what the hell are you doing, bloom?" aisha asked pulling her into the garage next to them, terra and faye followed.

"breaking beatrix out?" aisha asked, but it was more of a rhetorical question.

"dowling has been lying to me." bloom replied quietly. "everyone here is lying. you guys don't know what i know."

"we do." aisha said.

"i don't." faye awkwardly spoke.

aisha sent faye a look, making faye roll her eyes.

"dane told us about aster dell." aisha told the redhead.

"so, you get it?" bloom asked. "you understand that-"

no. no bloom, my dad would never do something like that." terra spoke.

faye was confused, she had no idea what they were talking about.

bloom just hummed like she didn't believe terra.

"beatrix is a liar and a murderer." terra argued.

"you're his daughter." bloom looked at terra, then faye. "you're silva's daughter." she then looked at aisha. "and you're dowling's little helper. i won't convince any of you, like sky."

faye scoffed. "i don't even know what's going on, don't bring me into this."

terra turned to faye. "basically aster dell is where bloom was born, as well as beatrix and pretty much apparently my dad, your dad, ms. dowling, and rosalind destroyed a village to kill the rest of the burned ones and queen luna has hidden the destruction by using a magic veil." she quickly spoke.

"you know?" faye began. "it's probably true. my dad told me rosalind was a crazy bitch and she was their leader so there's no doubt she's the reason."

bloom chuckled and tried to walk away. "also i'm not dowling's little helper." aisha said, stopping bloom from going anywhere.

bloom was angry, you could see it in her face. "i've been spying on the woman for days for you." aisha told her.

"what?" terra asked in shock.

"great friend." faye nodded.

"the point is, i've seen how hard she's trying. they're all trying to keep us safe." aisha ranted.

"they lied about a woman being dead for 16 years, about a war crime!" bloom argued. "i get that you guys wanna believe in them, but they're destructive, maybe dangerous!"

"bloom, listen to yourself. you literally sound like a crazy person." terra said softly, trying to calm bloom down.

"bloom, just listen to them, not me though because i'm still a little confused." faye added.

bloom tried to leave again, but aisha stopped her. "we have t told anyone what you're doing. and if you give us the key, we won't." aisha told the angry girl. "but if you don't... i don't wanna see you in the cell next to her."

bloom's face just radiated pure anger, faye could see how angry bloom was.

suddenly, bloom's eyes turned orange, almost red. this made terra and aisha step back in fear, but faye stood her ground, walking closer to bloom.

"bloom, if you don't calm the fuck down..." faye said, also getting slightly mad, bloom's eyes stayed the same and her focus was on faye. "bloom. i mean it." faye sternly told her, faye's own eyes turning almost black.

"we're your friends, bloom." terra said in fear.

faye felt lighting in her hands and wind around her, the girls' eyes were dark.

after bloom heard terra speak in fear her eyes turned to normal, when faye realised she wasn't a threat anymore, faye's eyes went back to her usual green colour and the feeling of lighting in her hands disappeared, as did the wind.

bloom looked around in shock and fear of herself. there was nothing but silence for a few moments. she looked at the three girls, then pulled something out of her bag, faye guessed this was the 'key' terra and aisha were talking about. bloom walked over and handed it to aisha.

"i know how hard this must-" aisha tried to say.

"you don't." bloom bluntly told her, shaking her head. "none of you do." she said as she walked away.

"great, now she hates us." faye muttered, letting out a sigh.

"she will after you almost hurt her." aisha snarked.

"well, excuse me for trying to protect you both." faye huffed.

...

the three girls went back to terra and aisha's suite to find musa. she hadn't been answering aisha's texts, so they had to hunt for her, but their best bet was the suite.

the girls walked into the suite and musa quickly stood up from the sofa.

"where have you been?" aisha asked in annoyance. "didn't you get my texts?"

"uh, i did, yeah. sorry." musa stuttered. "i was busy, and sam was here, and..."

faye made a face at the girl, she was hiding something.

"ugh." terra cringed. "not in our room, right?"

"it's okay. we stopped bloom." aisha showed musa the key. "i think she's losing it. i know i said we wouldn't, but i wonder if we have to tell dowling."

musa turned away from aisha briefly. "don't you dare." she demanded.

"no, i think we should tell her." aisha spoke back.

musa looked back to aisha. "stella has an opinion about that." she said.

"but stella-" faye spoke before getting interrupted.

"i refuse to keep cleaning them up, so just tell them." musa looked around the room, towards all terra's plants.

the girls looked at musa with confusion.

faye heard someone snap their fingers, and the body of a person showed up. it was stella.

faye's eyebrows furrowed. "what the fuck."

"i have an opinion." stella spoke from across the room. "everyone in this damn suite, minus faye, is so black or white. bloom is a pain in the arse, but she deserves to know who she is, not the stories the faculty is telling her." she paused for a moment. "now we can worry about being right, or we can help our friend." stella then looked at the four girls in front of her. "which one is it?"

faye got a text from her dad, he told her that she wasn't allowed to go past the barrier because there were about five or six burned ones beyond it. faye's jaw dropped.

musa safe faye's shocked face. "what?" she asked.

"uh, my dad just told me there's like five or six burned ones past the barrier..." faye slowly said. "we are fucked."
