I was wrapping Christmas presents for my friends, loved ones and my boyfriend.

This was our first Christmas as lovers, so I was thinking about inviting him over to my house or organizing something just for the two of us...but-

*ding dong*

The sound of the intercom boomed in my ears and that alarm of curiosity that has always been in me went off.

I left the unfinished gift package, scissors, tape, everything I was using scattered on the floor and quickly ran towards the door, super gassed and hopeful, because I had been waiting for a very important package for almost a month.

As soon as I moved the doorway out of my sight, I heard something I would recognize miles away from me.

:-boku wa doctor Tony Chop- Oh Y/n!

Y/n: Oh Chopper, hi, what are you doing here?
C: Y/N! I, TONY TONY CHOPPER HAVE A PRESENT AND IMPORTANT NEWS FOR YOU!
Y/n: Huh?! Chopper, come inside, it's very cold, come, I'll give you something to warm you up-
C: TAKE THESE FLOWERS FIRST!
Y/n: sure, thanks.

I took the bunch of red roses in my hand and let Tony into the house.

As I closed the door, I looked at the beauty of the red blossoms between my palms and noticed a card decorated in Christmas colours.

Y/n: pft haha! I knew it.
On top of that piece of paper was written 𝑭𝒐𝒓 𝒎𝒚 𝒃𝒆𝒍𝒐𝒗𝒆𝒅 𝒍𝒂𝒅𝒚

C: Hmm?
Said the little reindeer while eating the chocolate biscuits on the table.
Y/n: let me guess, Sabo sent you here, didn't he? What did he bribe you with, this time?

C: NOTHING- ok...hom-homemade chocolate...
Y/n: HOMEMADE CHOC-?!Ok let's calm down....

C: OH YEAH, I FORGOT TO GIVE YOU THIS!
He handed me the mysterious box in my hands and went back to chewing on the shortbread treat in his paws.

The package was red, enclosed by a greenish ribbon and sprinkled with whitish hues.
Above it was written: 𝑰 𝒎𝒂𝒅𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒎 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒚𝒐𝒖, 𝑰 𝒉𝒐𝒑𝒆 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒍𝒊𝒌𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒎♡

I admit that message brought a smile to my face, then I removed the lid and inside I found heart-shaped chocolates handmade by him.

Y/n: Oh Sabo, you sure are prepared for anything, aren't you! Oh-

Underneath the sweets, I noticed a letter which could be confused with the background of the box, so I moved the bonbons further away and took the note, curious to know what was written there.
I opened it as if it were a Christmas present and as soon as I read what was written, I lost a heartbeat.

Dang it, I must say that he is very good at drawing hearts for me.
The thing is that I loved him so much,
when I was with him I felt like a princess, I felt like I was in a kdrama.

I knew he was a romantic, but not so much that he made me smile like a senseless troglodyte.

I quickly picked up the phone, clicked on his contact and called him.
Not even two seconds after the first beep, Sabo opened the call for me.

S: Hii Lov-
Y/n: Yes
S: Yes what Babe? YOU WANT ME TO BUY YOU SOMETHING?!
Y/n: NO NO, I wanna spend Christmas with you and hug you all the time, be with you and do whatever you want!

He started laughing about my reaction and then screamed happily through the phone.
S: I can't wait to see you- no wait I' M COMING RIGHT NOW LOVE!! I HAVE TO SHOW A LITTLE BIT OF MY AFFECTION FOR YOU OR I'LL DIE OF ABSTINENCE FROM YOUR LOVE!!!

That's pretty much how it went.

It was Christmas and I was going to his house by foot, because the ground was frozen from the cold weather.

I was looking forward to seeing Sabo, being with him all the time and doing the usual Christmas shenanigans.

While I was cheerfully walking along, it started to snow lightly and some of the neighbourhood children came out of the house happy about this meteorology event.

The sun, almost visible through the winter clouds, slowly disappeared to make way for the moon and I finally arrived at my destination.

Just by looking at the outside of his house, I could tell that he loved Christmas so much.

Everything was filled with colourful lights, plus green, red and white decorations.
I approached the front door and after admiring the beautiful coloured plastic ornamentation, I realised the door was ajar, so I opened it and for a moment I thought my beloved was Santa Claus or had stolen his lair.

All those lights were blinding me and the smell of the food was...
S: -so delightful~

Y/n: HAHAHA, oh my lord!
S: I-I'M SORRY MY LOVE, I DIDNT OPEN THE DOOR FOR YOU-

I was dying of laughter, because I caught him singing Frank Sinatra's song, with a biscuit tin in his hands, a pink ladies pinafore around his bust, his face smeared with flour plus some cocoa, and he was worried that he didn't open the door for me!

How is he so freaking hot?! This man is perfection, I don't understand how he was so kind and caring with me, but I only know that his being "polite" drove me crazy.

He immediately returned to the kitchen and calmly placed the pan on the main table, took the potholders out of his hands and speedwalked towards me.

He began to hesitate a little, instead hugging me, and said:
I can't afford to get my lady dirty, so...
He grabbed my right hand and gently placed his lips on it, giving me a light kiss on the back of it, never breaking the contact between our eyes.

Not even a few seconds later, he started giggling.
S:...darn it, I'm sorry babe, but it's the rules!!!
Y/n: what rules-?

The young man, with the hand with which we were connected to each other, pulled me to him and with his free arm wrapped my waist to make contact between us.
S: look up.

I lifted my head, curious as to what he wanted me to see, and immediately recognised the viscus, I didn't even have time to speak when for a moment his dark eyes lingered on mine, silently he approached me, brushing his lips against mine.

He smiled continuously and pressed his mouth to my gob, then surrounded my face in his hands, with determination, and kissed me again, more firmly this time.

Once deprived of this magnificent warmth, I was guided into the living room, more specifically towards the sofa.

My beloved handed me a shirt, so that I could change it, as by now I was dirty with flour too.

S: I know it's ugly, but it's Christmas so people wear ugly shirts haha!
Y/n: haha, I'll come in two seconds, wait for me!
S: sure Love!

I ran to the bathroom and changed my clothes thinking back to before...every time it felt like the first time, he took my breath away and even though I was tense, he always ended up calming me down.

Y/n: I'm back! Oh-
I was so lucky, I could afford that beautiful view, even though that shirt was hideous, it fit him like a glove, so it was a pleasure seeing him like that.

S: my princess is always so beautiful~
Y/n: Sabo!
S: I'm just telling facts babe- between all, I have a thing for us to do! Just wait for a little bit.

In the meantime, I felt comforted by the warmth, the crackling flames of the lit fireplace and the red that filled the room with calm.

The only one who distracted me from that wonderful atmosphere was Sabo, who had in his hands a pan with a handmade ginger bread house on top of it.

S: I made it just for you, so you can decorate it however you wanted!
Y/n: you're so sweet!
I gave him a hug, because who wouldn't?!
He cut off the tip of the sac a poche and gave it to me, so I started to decorate "the building" as I pleased.

S: Honey~ I have here for you some-
Y/n: Hot chocolate!
S: With sweet supplies on top! Here, take it.

I sipped some of that chocolate and it was wonderful, by now this young man knew my taste perfectly-

S: you're gorgeous when you concentrate, aren't you?!
Y/n: Oh Sabo stop it please!

After finishing the frosting, we ate some of the cottage, laughed about silly things, talked, cuddled up watching the fire burning in the wood of the fireplace and drank 2 cups of hot chocolate each for how good it was.

After opening my present for him and receiving a big hug, the youth handed me a small box and indicated to me to see what was inside.

I moved the lid of the four-sided box and inside was a necklace.
S: Put it under the light and look there where the stone is.

I did as he told me and in the middle of it was a photo of us taken some time ago.
Needless to say, I couldn't help but smile or hug Sabo, I was too happy.

S: wait, I'll help you put it on....
His warm hands gently brushed the back of my neck and hooked the two ends of the necklace.

S: it looks amazing on you!
Y/n: You shouldn't have...
S: No, you are the most important person in my life, I would do anything to see you smile and be happy.

After a while, we swayed to the rhythm of the music and ended up falling on the couch, with Sabo's failed attempt to give me a kiss-

:OUCH!!!
Sabo and I looked at each other with a lost and enamoured look to strange and surprised one (•_•)

:...
: WHAT ARE YOU STUPID?! YOU HURT ME!!!
S and Y/n: CHOPPER?!
The little reindeer came out of the crack in the sofa and all "offended" said: yes.
S: WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?!
C: I heard there was a party going on and so-

MERRY CHRISTMAS BRO!!!
The front door slammed open, revealing Ace dressed as Santa Claus...with no shirt underneath.

S: ACE!!! WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?!
In the meantime, the two greeted each other.
A: Luffy told me you had a party planned-
S: not really-

A: OH ANYWAY LUFFY IS COMING DOWN THE CHIMNEY HAHA, YOU BETTER PUT OUT THE FIRE FIRST-

L: SABO! MERRY CHRIST- OUCH IT HURS, HELP!!!
S: LUFFY!!!

The older brother headed over to the rubber lad with a fire extinguisher in hand and pulled it out of the burnt wood.
L: SABO-NII! THANKS-

: MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

: -Stmas, sorry for the disturbance...
L: OH HERE IT COMES MY CREW AND TRAO HAHA-
S: oh Law no problem...

The youth quite anxiously took my hand and locked us in the bathroom.

S: I swear I don't know what's going on....
Y/n: me too...
S: since it was our first Christmas, I wanted to spend it just with you...I'm so sorry.
Y/n: it's ok, I'm sure we'll have fun anyway, shall we?!
S: sure, no wait-

S: Can I have a kiss?

I don't think there was anyone else missing...we were so full.

Besides the two of us, there were Ace, Luffy, Sanji, Chopper, Nami, Robin, Usopp, Franky, Law, Jinbe, Brook-shoot, I lost count...

We all had dinner together, thanks to Sabo and Sanji who improvised a big Christmas dinner for everyone.

We sang along to TV karaoke, but ended up playing Monopoly and other board games.

While we were playing Twister and Luffy was cheating using the powers of the devil fruit, the door opened abruptly.

: HO HO HO

No one could believe their eyes, he really existed, it was him!

L: IT'S SANTA CLAUS!!!
Law: No you dumb, it's Rayligh.

Us: RAYLIGH?!
A: I kinda of hoped it was Grandp-
R: HO HO HO!! MERRY CHRISTMAS GUYS, SORRY I'M LATE, BUT I'VE BEEN BUSY GETTING SOME THINGS!
He took a sip from his bottle of liquor.
: ...

R: TIME TO OPEN PRESENTS!!!
Everyone was excited, until we realized something: I have a problem, I didn't know about this party, I don't have the presents here with me...

R: oh relax HO HO HO, I broke into your house and the others' just to get them!!!
N: YOU DID WHAT?!
L: YEAH GIFTS!!!

S: let's pretend we didn't hear anything and open them.

I had never had so much fun in my life, on one hand I wanted to be alone with my beloved boyfriend, but on the other, I never wanted to miss such a night.
Y/n: Love...thank you!
S: Love, I-

: GUYS, WAIT, WHERE IS ZORO?
Sanji: Zoro?
Nami: wasn't he with us?!
L: no...

Zoro in that exact moment: but why is it so hot and sandy? Isn't it supposed to snow? Mh ok, Sabo's house will definitely be around here.
One, two, one, two, one, two...

...

: so...are you all down for another round of karaoke?
: HECK YEAH!!!!
