"I promise I'll never leave you but why are you acting so weird, what's wrong ?" She stepped closer to me and held my hands. Euphoria was the love of my life and her leaving me would break me forever.

"Nothing." I simply stated.

—Earlier that day

"Hi Selia, You wanted to see me? " I spoke and rested on my car. Selia had texted me saying she had something important that I must know about.

"I just want to make sure you are not hurt." she politely said and blinked her eyes a few times. What was she saying? She wanted to make sure I don't get hurt? How was it her place to care if I get hurt or not.

Get hurt from what exactly?

"What do you mean?" I questioned.

"Ria is my best friend and I love her but i can't let her hurt or ruin another person's life again." She muttered. Ruin another person's life. Why was she trying to slander my girlfriend?

"All what you are saying sound like nonsense to me, care to explain more clearly?" I folded my arms and said. All that stuff about Euphoria ruining someone's life sound like absolute nonsense.

"What I'm saying is that Euphoria is cheating on you and I know how much you love her." She explained, earning an awkward chuckle from me. Euphoria would never cheat on me.

I love her and she loves me just as much.

"That is pure nonsense." I let out and shook my head repeatedly. I didn't believe what she said. I don't know what kind of friend Ria thought Selia was to her but she needed to know that Selia isn't what she said she was.

"It's true, I may be her best friend but I can't support her bad behaviour. I'm only telling you this because you I know how much you love her and I can't just stand by and let her leave in you in shambles." She said.

"I know Ria, we've been together for three years and there is no way she would cheat on me, I love her and she loves me too." I explained that fact to her.

"I've been her friend for much longer than you've known her. She's like that. Two-timing, Having Fuck buddies, Terminating pregnancies and pretending to be goodie two shoes. She doesn't care what she does, who she hurts as long as she gets what she wants." She informed.

"Do you have any idea what accusations you're making against your best friend? Even if she wad doing all of that, wasn't it your job to protect her and lie for her when needed? Why are you telling me any of this? I even barely know you." I exclaimed. I didn't view Selia as someone who would slander her best friend behind her back.

Selia was always cheerful and always glued beside Ria. If it was possible, Selia would have moved in with us so she could be with Euphoria.

"I know what this sounds like. I know it sounds like I'm trying to ruin my bestie's relationship but trust me, what would I gain from doing that?" She questioned.

"I know you won't believe me but Ria told me this morning that she is going out to meet a guy tonight. She usually does during the day, when you're at work but she said he wanted her to come stay with him overnight." Selia added.

"Okay, what if she doesn't go out tonight?" I sighed in irritation.

"Then you can tell Ria that I tried to ruin her relationship but if she does tell you that she's going out, don't let her go " She concluded.

"You know what Lia, If I find out that you are trying to slander Ria, not only would I tell her but I'll also make sure she never speaks to you again." I said and entered my car, slamming the door with anger, drove off and left her looking so stupid.

I trusted Euphoria so much but Knowing she and Lia had been friends for a long time, I couldn't stop thinking about what she had said.

What if she was right and Euphoria is really not who I think she was. Of course, she couldn't be right. Euphoria is a good person. I love her and she loves me. She would never do something that would hurt me.

It has been two hours since Ria and I talked. I didn't even had the appetite to eat the food she made for me. I shouldn't have yelled at her. After I told her 'nothing' was wrong, she got upset and stomped upstairs.

I climbed the stairs and slowly opened the door, I needed to apologise to her. She was putting on fresh clothes as she glanced at me but chose to ignore me.

"Baby, what were you doing here?, You just stomped off without saying anything." I started with a soft voice as I hugged her from behind. Our fights usually ends this way.

"I was doing laundry, and I just took a shower. Get off me . I want to wear my shirt" She said coldly and tried to push me away but I wasn't planning on letting her go.

"I'm sorry for yelling, it's just that my boss annoyed me so much together and I kind of took the anger out on you. I very sorry, I love you baby." I lied about my boss annoying me at the office because I knew she was going to ask me the reason why I screamed at her.

"You should have told me that downstairs. I wouldn't have gotten upset but you yelled at me over 'nothing', it's upsetting." She turned to me and said. "Now get off me, I want to put on my shirt." She tried to push me away but again, I wasn't planning on letting her go.

"Why? I love seeing you shirtless." I leaned closer to her ears and whispered, earning a slap on my arm. "Perv, now get off me!" I pulled away from her and watched her wear her shirt.

How can a person be this beautiful? She looked ethereal, like a goddess. Selia must be very stupid for saying she was cheating on me.

"Ahh—I forgot to tell you that my friends and I are having a girls night tonight. it's like a sleepover kind of thing." Oops —spoke too soon.

Selia was right?

She couldn't be right.

No no no she was not right.

"You are not going." I let out. I wanted to believe that Selia wasn't right but with what Ria said, it was almost impossible not to believe.

I was fuming mad.

"Stop joking, which outfit should I wear tonight?" She walked to the wardrobe, opening the door, she brought out two dresses and turned to me.

"Pyjamas because you are not going anywhere." I angrily snatched the dresses from her hands and hung them back? Slamming the wardrobe door shut.

"Are you for real right now?" She looked at me dumbfounded with her mouth a little bit agape. "Yes, You're not going anywhere. You'll stay with me all night" I frowned and fold my arms.

"What is wrong with you? I never go out and now the one time I'm planning on going out to meet my friends, you said no?" Ria whined. She never go out? What a joke!

"...and why do I need your permission to meet my friends." She glared at me as she breathed heavily.

"I don't care what you say, all I know is you are not going to step foot out of this house, in fact, you won't be going anywhere these two weeks I'll be home and that's final." I said and stomped out of the room, making sure to slam the door. I needed to call Selia. She has to tell me more about this man she had been cheating on me with.

But I was still not fully believing that Euphoria was cheating on me, it all sounded so wrong to me .
