•°.•⊹Alina Williams wasn't the most trusting when it came to men. She always had her guard up around them, never allowing them to hurt her in anyway. It had become a talent at this point, something she merely did without having to think of it. If a boy tried to hurt her she never hit them, for the girl was strongly against violence,  but she never talked to them again. One of specialities was shutting out people who deserved it.

She only kept a select few people close. Like Ali, her best friend of 4 years. They had been inseparable since the 6th grade, and told each other everything. Her father, was another person she kept close, although he had his off days where he couldn't hardly even remember what year it was. She still loved him of course, and she was patient with him, helping remember the small things.

Those were the only she let get close to her. But now when Daniel Larusso moves in the apartment next to hers, she finds herself wanting to break her pattern and let the boy in. She just hopes it won't end in heartbreak.
