While her cousin managed to win the tournament in the end, it still left a scar on her on how brutal martial arts can be. Ever since then, she sworn to herself to never get involved in martial arts. Until she meets Miguel Diaz, who introduces her to the world of Karate and is persuaded by him to give martial arts a second chance.
