[ bit of a chunky one because I didn't want to split this into two different chapters so i'm sorry it's long]

WANDA woke up to the sounds of thudding coming from outside and she quickly sat up in the bed, the bedside lamp turning on as she looked around. She glanced down at Carson to see if he'd heard it too but he was still fast asleep, his arm laying across Wanda over the covers.

Just as she was about to brush it off and go back to sleep the thudding sound was heard again. With a quiet gasp, Wanda looked out the window and the light turned on again for a second before switching off once more when Wanda looked away.

Carson groaned and started to stir awake. He opened his eyes and they travelled up to Wanda.

"Wands?" He rasped.

"Yes, dorogoy?" Wanda whispered.

"Are you switching the light on and off?" Carson asked.

"Yes dorogoy."

He sat up and turned his body so he was facing her. "What is it? Is everything okay?"

Wanda nodded. "Everything's fine it's just—"

Another noise came from outside, this one being louder than before. Carson looked back at Wanda who was gesturing towards the window. He let out a small sigh and got out of bed, walking over to the window to see what it was.

"What do you see?" Wanda sat up straighter as she tried to peek over his shoulder from her spot on the bed.

"Grass. I can see grass Wanda."

"That's all?" Wanda double checked. "Try and use your hearing to see if there's anything else."

He turned around and ran a hand through his hair. "Wands it's the middle of the night. I promise you there's nothing to be scared of, so can we please just go back to—"

Carson was cut off by yet another sound coming from outside, this time making him jump. He rolled his eyes when he heard Wanda chuckle and climbed back into bed.

"No, no, go on, you were saying?" Wanda raised a brow at him.

"Oh leave me alone, it was loud okay?" Carson defended with a small smile. "Actually now that I think about it, a few of the guys at work were talking about some suspicious people coming into the neighbourhood. So, who knows what they could be up to?"

"Glowing eyes, super healing, moving objects without touching them." Wanda remarked.

Carson furrowed his brows. "You think they were talking about us?"

Another thud came from outside and the two of them both jumped, each accidentally activating their powers. Two small bursts of energy flew throughout the room and caused the pictures on the wall to fall off.

Carson scratched the back of his head. "One of us should probably go find out what that is."

"Yes." Wanda slapped his shoulder. "One of us should."

Once Carson caught on to what Wanda meant, he pointed to himself mouthing a Me? and Wanda nodded. He glanced over at the clock and huffed before lying back down.

"I'll check in the morning Wands." Carson assured her. "I promise you it's nothing. If someone was there, my hearing would've picked it up."

"My hero." Wanda said sarcastically.

An idea suddenly popped into her head and she smirked to herself. She scooted over to Carson's side of the bed and placed her hand on his chest as she lay on her side next to him, propping her head up on her hand while she looked down at him with a mischievous grin.

Wanda traced random patterns on his chest. "You know, if you go outside and check what it is..." She leant down and started kissing up his neck and along his jaw.

"Mhm?" Carson hummed, running his hand up her back.

"I'll wear that dress you like." Wanda said between kisses.

"This whole bribing thing you're doing? It's great. But I'm afraid it's not going to work." Carson smirked and placed his finger under her chin, tilting up her head so she was looking at him. "Because we both know I ripped that dress when I took it off you. Or did you forget?"

Wanda's cheeks started to heat up making Carson's smirk grow even more. She quickly regained her composure and leaned in slowly.

"I bought another one." She whispered in his ear. "Oh and believe me, dorogoy. You'll like this one even more."

Carson's eyes widened slightly and he sat up. "And suddenly, I'm wide awake."

IT WAS the next morning and Carson was stood in the living room with Wanda going through their costumes and props for the talent show that was happening later on in the day.

"You want me to put this on?" Carson reached into the costume box and pulled out a top hat, giving Wanda a questionable look. "Y'know I'm quite happy with the amount of dignity I have left, so..."

"Oh come on, it'll be fun." Wanda chuckled and shook her head. "You have to wear it. For me. Please?"

Carson let out a defeated sigh. "You're lucky I love you witchy."

"Mhm, I guess I am. And I love you too." She placed the hat on his head and kissed his cheek. "Now, let's keep going."

"Alright, alright." Carson nodded. "Now go on, hop in the box."

Wanda let out an excited squeal and stepped inside, she looked up at Carson and smiled. "You really are very dashing in that hat."

"Thank you love." Carson winked before looking down at the script in his hand. "Now, fear not Wanda. For I vow to bring you back exactly as you are— wow you really went all out with this script huh?"

"Shhh." Wanda hushed him. "Carry on."

Carson raised his hands in surrender and continued reading off the script. "For my next trick... I will be making Wanda disappear."

Wanda feigned a scared look as Carson closed the doors. He chuckled to himself at how invested she was before tapping the box a few times with the fake wand.

"Abracadabra!"

Carson opened the doors, grinning when he saw Wanda was no longer there. After a few seconds, Wanda appeared from the other side of the cabinet and started applauding.

"Wands." Carson began. "You're not worried that the people watching won't figure out how we just did that?"

"Well, that's the whole point." Wanda shrugged. "In a real magic act everything is fake." She closed the doors to the cabinet. "Dorogoy, the talent show fundraiser is the most important event of the season. It's our neighbourly duty to participate. Plus, it's our chance to appear as normal as possible while doing so."

Carson pointed to his eyes, allowing them to glow for a moment. "Well, that certainly shouldn't be a problem."

"This is our home now." Wanda told him. Carson's smile faded when he noticed her serious tone. "I want us to... fit in."

He frowned. "Don't worry Wands, we do." Carson took her hand in his. "And they're gonna love our act tonight. Especially with you wearing this." He reached over to the couch and lifted up Wanda's costume.

"Oh, that's actually the rest of your costume." Wanda joked.

Carson laughed. "Y'know what, I actually think I'd be able to pull this off."

"I'm sure you would." Wanda chuckled. "Well, I better get going if I'm gonna make the planning committee meeting."

"I should probably go too." Carson put on his jacket. "Norm asked me to come with him to the neighbourhood watch group, down at the library."

"That's a great idea." Wanda agreed. "Look at you, making friends with the locals."

Carson kissed the top of her head. "Only for you, witchy."

Wanda smiled. "I'll see you at curtain call!"

Carson playfully rolled his eyes at Wanda before leaving the house. He walked down the driveway, but as he neared the front gate he noticed something sticking out of their hedges.

He furrowed his brows and walked over, his confusion only growing when he saw a red and yellow toy helicopter within the leaves.

"What?" Carson mumbled under his breath.

After looking at it for a few more seconds, Carson reached down and picked it up. The first thing his eyes seemed to be drawn to was the logo that was painted on the side. He could've sworn he'd seen those symbols before, but when he tired to remember nothing came up.

It's as if his mind was completely blank.

"Look, it's the star o' the show!" Someone's voice pulled Carson out of his thoughts.

He dropped the helicopter and subtly kicked it back into the bushes before turning his attention towards who was talking to him, which turned out to be Agnes.

"I was wondering when I'd get a chance to properly introduce myself." Agnes held her hand out for him to shake. "I'm Agnes your neighbour to the—"

"Wanda told me." He shook her hand. "It's nice to meet you."

"You know, between you and me." Agnes said quietly. "I thought Wanda was lying when she told me she moved here with her husband, considering I've barely seen you around." She paused for a moment while she looked at him, actually, more like studied him. "But here you are... stood right in front of me. Alive and well."

"Why'd you make it sound like something that's hard to believe?"

"No reason." Agnes replied. "Just glad to be able to put a face to the name I guess."

"Hm." Carson nodded slowly. "Forgive me, Agnes. But what are you doing here?"

"I'm here to pick Wanda up for the planning—" Agnes looked over his shoulder, noticing Wanda leaving the house. "See, here she is. Morning neighbour!"

"Morning Agnes." Wanda smiled. She joined Carson's side and looked up at him, her smile faltering when she noticed he looked a little tense.

Agnes checked her watch. "Well, we better get going. We wouldn't want Dottie to catch us showing up late."

She reached out to bring Wanda along with her. Carson subconsciously grabbed Agnes' wrist, stopping her from being able to touch Wanda.

The two women both looked up at Carson in confusion but he kept his gaze on Agnes, his eyes narrowing a little as he stared at her intently.

Even though Carson had only been around Agnes for a few minuets, he couldn't shake the feeling that something was off about her. He had no clue what it was or why he felt that way but he just didn't trust her, nor buy this overly-friendly act she had going on.

"Carson." Wanda said quietly. "What are you doing?"

He moved his hand away and held his stare on Agnes for a second before turning his attention towards Wanda. "I just wanted to know what time you'd be home before you left. That's all."

"It should be finished around four." Agnes answered for her. "Don't worry, I'll make sure she stays out of trouble. You have nothing to worry about. She's in safe hands."

Carson glanced at Agnes, smiling wryly at her. "Thanks."

"Hey, look at me." Wanda moved into his line of sight, blocking Agnes from his view. "Is everything okay?" She whispered.

Carson smiled down at her and nodded. "Everything's fine, love. Now go have fun. I'll see you at four."

"Well, if you're sure you're alright." Wanda reluctantly agreed. "I'll see you later. I love you."

"I love you too."

WANDA was sat down on one of the chairs at the Rotary Club where the planning committee had chosen to meet. She wasn't really paying full attention to what one of the women was currently saying. Instead she was too busy thinking about what got Carson so skittish before.

She looked at Agnes who was sat on the chair next to her, looking bored out of her mind.

"Agnes." Wanda grabbed her attention.

"Mhm?" The woman nodded.

"I just wanted to say I'm sorry about what happened with Carson earlier." She said. "Sometimes he can come across as quite standoffish with new people that he doesn't really know much about. He doesn't mean any harm, he just, he can get a bit protective sometimes."

Agnes waved her off. "Oh don't worry about it dear. I understand."

"You're sure?" Wanda asked. "Because I really am sorry if it upset you—"

"Wanda, it's perfectly fine!" Agnes gave her a reassuring smile. "No harm done."

Wanda returned the smile and nodded. "But I have to ask... before I came outside, did anything happen? He just seemed on edge. He wouldn't want me to worry so I know he won't say anything about it but, I just want to make sure he's okay."

"Ladies, are we paying attention?" Dottie interrupted their conversation.

"Yes, of course." Wanda answered.

Dottie continued what she was saying. "As you all know, the talent show is the sole fundraiser for Westview Elementary. In the eight years since I founded our little club this event has gotten bigger and bigger every season."

Another woman next to Wanda passed over the tray of biscuits. Wanda smiled appreciatively and mouthed a quick Thank you.

"Say, those pants are peachy keen." The woman complimented.

"Do you really think so?" Wanda let out a relieved breath. "The other ladies are in skirts. I was worried."

Dottie huffed. "We only have a few hours till show time. So a little less cross chatter and a little more focus."

Wanda subtly rolled her eyes and took a sip of her water.

"All of this is for the children." Dottie stated.

"For the children." The women all said in unison.

Wanda looked around at everyone, not realising she was supposed to say anything. She quickly cleared her throat. "For the children."

Dottie shot her an unimpressed look. "So, I want you all to give yourselves a big hand..."

Wanda perked up instantly and started applauding, thinking that the other women would do it too.

"... at the appropriate time of course." Dottie quipped.

The woman who talked to Wanda earlier spoke up again. "The only reason I didn't clap is because I'm afraid to move."

"Yeah." Wanda let out a sigh, knowing exactly what she felt like.

"I actually don't know what I'm doing here." She admitted.

"I'm starting to feel the same way myself." Wanda agreed. "I'm Wanda."

"I'm, uh..." The woman stammered. "Geraldine."

"And I'm irritated." Dottie remarked. "In other news, the tickets for tonight have completely sold out! Now you can clap."

All the women gave a round of applause. Dottie smiled at them all momentarily before suddenly turning serious again.

"And stop."

Agnes let out a quiet scoff. "How is anybody doing this sober?"

~~ ᗢ ~~

THE RADIO that was perched on the table played away it's tune while Wanda hauled multiple empty plates over onto the worktop. Dottie was sat down on one of the chairs watching Wanda clean up, not offering any help.

"That is why you never do a seating chart on an empty stomach." Dottie told her.

"Golly, you're a whiz at all this committee stuff, Dottie." Wanda picked up more plates. "Thank you for choosing me to help you clean up today. I feel so lucky."

"You are." The blonde shrugged.

Wanda placed the plated down and once she had her back facing the woman she pulled a face. She took a deep breath to compose herself before turning back around. "I can't help but wonder if you and I haven't gotten off on the wrong foot, Dottie. And I would like to correct that if I can."

"And how would you do that?" Dottie asked.

Wanda stayed silent for a moment while she thought of an answer. She fiddled with her wedding ring and let out a nervous chuckle.

"I've heard things about you." Dottie got up from her seat. "You and your husband."

"Well, I don't know what you've been told." Wanda walked over to her. "But I assure you... I don't mean anyone any harm."

"I don't believe you."

The channel on the radio started to bug and for a few seconds all that could be heard was static. Until Wanda heard somebody say her name.

"Wanda? Wanda, can you read me?"

The two women looked at the radio, both of them starting to feel uneasy at the situation.

"Who is that..." Dottie questioned.

Wanda stayed silent, her head tilting to the side as she listened to the man on the radio continue to speak.

Dottie let out a shaky breath and looked at Wanda. "Who— who are you?"

"Wanda?"

"Wanda?"

"What are you doing to him Wanda?"

"Wanda? Wanda? Wan—"

"No..." Wanda whispered under her breath.

The radio suddenly malfunctioned and blew it's fuse, a few sparks flying from out the machine. Wanda and Dottie both jumped and the glass that was in Dottie's hand smashed, the shards causing a cut on her palm.

Wanda gasped. "Dottie!"

As if a light switch had been turned off, Dottie's facial expressions turned neutral.

"You... uh, I... " Wanda's words got caught up in her throat. She rushed over to the counter and grabbed a towel before making her way back over and wrapping up Dottie's hand. "Are you okay?"

"Pop quiz, Wanda." The woman started, now seemingly being unbothered about what just happened. "How does a housewife get a bloodstain out of white linen?"

Wanda didn't know how to respond and kept quiet.

"By doing it herself."

Dottie gave her a quick smile and walked away, leaving Wanda on her own.

IN THE centre of town, all the locals had gathered to watch the talent show and were all sat down on tables and chairs around the stage. The act that was already on was seeming to come to an end which meant that Wanda and Carson were up next.

But Carson still wasn't here.

Geraldine peeked through the curtain. "Glad I don't have to follow after this guy."

Wanda was pacing around backstage and after hearing Geraldine's comment she came to a stop, starting to panic even more. "Huh, what?"

"Oh, but you're gonna be great." Geraldine assured her.

"What time is it now?" Wanda asked.

Geraldine hummed and looked down at her watch. "Two minutes after the last time you asked."

Wanda started pacing again. "I don't know where he could be. What if something happened? Maybe I should try to find him, see if he's okay? No, no, I should stay here right? Just in case he shows up or—"

"Is that him?" Geraldine pointed behind Wanda.

Wanda spun around and let out a gasp as she saw Carson stumble over to the stairs, laughing to himself as he bumped into the railing.

"Well, it looks like he's got a little hitch in his giggy-up." Geraldine commented.

As Carson was making his way up the steps, he tripped and almost fell down but he managed to recover. "Oh nearly. Almost had me there." He pointed down at the stairs.

"Carson!" Wanda called him over.

He looked over at Wanda and smiled brightly at her. "There she is! My beautiful, beautiful Wanda. You look amazing love."

"Where have you been? Are you okay? Did something happen?" Wanda bombarded him with questions.

"Oh, well, here's the thing." Carson slurred his words slightly. "We all had some drinks at the neighbourhood watch thingy, y'know the one I told you about this morning. Well god it was just so boring... so I may or may not have took it upon myself, to have a few extra so that I didn't fall asleep and could still make it here to you. Which I did!"

"How many extra?" Wanda raised a brow at him.

"Only one or two." Carson answered. But when Wanda gave him a look he decided to fess up. "Alright, fine, maybe three maybe seven. It's hard to tell."

"Seven?!" Wanda whisper shouted at him.

"Hey, whoa I said maybe." Carson corrected her. He reached out and tapped her ear. "See this is why we have ears Wands, they help us listen."

"What— nope, no, you know what? I'll deal with you later." Wanda huffed. "But I need to tell you, something strange happened with Dottie. Well, something strange happened before that too. It's hard to explain."

"Hm well that doesn't seem to surprise me." Carson slurred.

"What?" Wanda asked. "How so?"

"Because here's the thing Wands." He said quietly. "When you name a child Dottie, there's something bound to go wrong somewhere along the way..."

[ A/N: there's nothing wrong with the name Dottie people it's just for the lines my luvs]

Wanda looked at Carson, full of confusion. "What is going on?!"

"You are!" Geraldine told the two of them.

"WHAT?!" Wanda let out a gasp. She straightened out her clothes and fixed her hair before going over to Carson and cupping his face to make him look at her.

Carson moved his face away and took a step back. "Whoa there, I have a wife thank you."

Wanda's jaw slacked in shock due to the things he was saying. She took a deep breath before stepping closer again. "Yes, I know Carson. I'm your wife."

Carson's eyes narrowed as he looked at Wanda. Once he realised who it was his facial features softened and he laughed. "Would you look at that, you are. Hi Wands. You okay?"

"Wanda, come on!" Geraldine ushered her over to the curtain.

Wanda looked over her shoulder at Carson. "Just... act normal okay?"

She opened the curtains and walked down the stairs  smiling at everyone that was watching. Once she got to the bottom she gestured towards the curtain, waiting for Carson to walk out.

After a few moments of being stood there with no response, Carson eventually opened the curtain and looked between Wanda on the stage and the people in the audience.

"Hello Westview!" He started to walk down the steps, bumping into the railing like he did before. "I'm Wanda and this is my lovely assistant Carson— wait nope that's not right."

"I'm Wanda and he's Carson." Wanda corrected.

"Yeah, what she said." Carson nodded. "Today, we're going to completely lie to you and you'll end up believing our tricks. Because you're all very gullible people."

A few people in the audience looked around in confusion. Except from Norm and a few other guys from the neighbourhood watch who were laughing along and giving Carson a thumbs up, them being a little under the influence too.

"And now." Carson clapped his hands together. "My wife and I will delight in your dumbstruck little faces."

With his powers, Carson formed a ball of energy in his hand and started to throw it up in the air, playing catch with it. The audience all gasped and Wanda started to panic.

She magicked a small projector on one of the tables and pulled it out into view so everyone could see and think it was because of that.

"Oh, oh, look!" Norm pointed out. "It's a projector!"

The energy faded away and the audience all laughed and applauded, thinking it was part of a skit they were doing.

"Right, what's next?" Carson mumbled. His eyes landed on the piano and he chuckled. "Alright, this is gonna be a good one." He walked over to the piano and lifted it up with one hand easily. The audience gasped once more.

"Oh, uh..." Wanda stuttered as she tried to think of what to do. "Carson darling, allow me."

Wanda walked over to him and with a quick wave of her fingers the piano was turned into a carboard cut out of one. She picked it up and started to walk over to the other side of the stage.

"Whoops!" Wanda exclaimed with a faux look of shock. "You weren't supposed to see how we did that trick."

The show carried on and there was multiple more close calls and mess ups but Wanda was quick to think on her feet to handle them all. Carson did his card trick with Herb which didn't exactly go to plan but the audience found it funny, the rabbit escaped from the hat, Carson lifted a few things into the air with his powers and Wanda had to make it look like it was on a string.

And to finish the act off, they brought out the cabinet for the trick they were practicing earlier in the morning.

"For our final trick." Carson began. "I will now make my wife disappear."

Before Wanda could step inside, Carson closed the doors and Wanda gripped the bridge of her nose, letting out a sigh.

"Are you sure you don't want an audience volunteer named My husband Ralph?" Agnes quipped from the crowd making the audience laugh.

Carson let out a fake laugh. "No, Agnes. No I do not." He tapped the cabinet with his fake wand. "Abracadabra!"

"Uh, sweetheart?" Wanda chuckled nervously.

"Yeah?"

"Hi."

Carson caught onto what was going on, realising he'd forgot to actually put Wanda in the cabinet.

"What's in the box? What's in the box? What's in the box?" The audience chanted.

"Actually, yeah." Carson furrowed his brows as he looked at it. "What is in the box?"

Wanda subtly waved her fingers around at the cabinet before opening the doors, revealing a very confused looking Geraldine inside. The woman stepped out of the cabinet and the audience all gave a round of applause, letting out cheers.

The three on the stage all took each others hands before giving the audience a bow. Wanda walked over to Carson and linked her arm with his, walking the two of them off the stage.

Once they got backstage, Carson plopped down in one of the chairs and started laughing. "See, I told you they wouldn't suspect a thing!"

Wanda knelt down in front of him. "Alright, I'm getting that alcohol out of your system. Now don't move."

"Fine, fine." Carson rolled his eyes. "So bossy."

Wanda did a quick check to see if anyone was around her and once she deemed the coast to be clear she placed her hand on his stomach, a faint red hue showing around her hands as her energy started to form.

Carson started to laugh as he could feel his stomach bubbling a little and after a few seconds it stopped, him starting to feel normal again.

"Oh we don't have to go back out there do we?" Carson asked. "I don't think I could do that sober."

"No, we don't." Wanda told him. "And you're back to yourself now so that's all I care about. Now, let's get out of here before Dottie and the planning committee string us up for ruining the show."

The couple started to walk away from where the talent show was being held, trying to blend in with the crowd as they did so.

"You two." Dottie called out to them. "Stop right there."

Wanda exhaled shakily and held onto Carson's hand. "Dottie... we are so, so—"

"Hilarious!" Dottie exclaimed. "That was the most hilarious act we've ever seen! You two come on up." She ushered them onto the stage. Once they got there, Dottie turned around and grabbed a trophy.

"On behalf of the planning committee, I would like to award you with the inaugural Comedy Performance of the year."

Wanda giggled and took the trophy. "Thank you."

Everyone cheered and the couple did a quick bow. Wanda saw Geraldine stood at the side of the stage and waved for her to come over considering she was a part of their act too. Carson gave the woman a quick smile and moved to the side so she could get past.

Unlike earlier with Agnes, Carson got the complete opposite feeling when it came to Geraldine. There wasn't anything to indicate that the woman had any possible malicious intentions. She seemed kind, like a truly good person.

"I have to ask." Geraldine looked at Carson. "One second, I'm backstage and the next, I'm in a dark cubby hole. How'd you do it?"

Carson chuckled and put his finger over his lips. "Oh, a magician never reveals his secrets."

~~ ᗢ ~~

CARSON OPENED the front door to the house, bringing Wanda inside with him. He kicked the door closed carefully with his foot and wrapped his arms around Wanda's waist.

"You were amazing Wands." He smiled down at her.

"As were you Carson." Wanda kissed his cheek. She walked over to the table and put down the trophy before sitting on the couch. "I don't know what I was so worried about, it wasn't so hard to fit in after all."

"I told you we would Wands." Carson sat down next to her and she leant on his shoulder. "All we had to do was be ourselves."

"Well, with a few modifications." Wanda chuckled.

"And it was all for the children."

"For the children." Wanda agreed. "Well, I think she children might need some popcorn."

Carson watched as Wanda stood up, his brows coming together when he noticed something different about her. He stood up and grabbed her hand to pull her back.

"Wanda..."

"Hm?" Wanda hummed. "What is it?"

Carson approached her slowly, his eyes flicking down to her stomach. Wanda followed his gaze and looked down too. She let out a gasp when she noticed she had a baby bump.

"Carson..." Wanda whispered. "Is this really happening?"

He smiled and gently put his hand on her stomach. "Yes my love, it's really happening."

The two both leaned in for a kiss but were interrupted by another rattling sound coming from outside. Carson let out an annoyed huff and started walking over to the door.

"That's it." Carson began. "I'm blasting that damn tree out the ground."

Wanda followed him outside and the two walked down their driveway to see what it was.

"I don't see anything." Wanda shrugged.

Another sound was heard and the two of them looked down the street, watching as one of the covers for the sewer started to move.

"What is that?" Carson asked.

The cover was slowly removed and Carson walked in front of Wanda, moving her behind him. They watched as a man in a bee suit crawled out. There was a large symbol printed on the back of the uniform.

The same symbol that Carson had seen on the helicopter earlier in the day.

The mysterious man turned around and made direct eye contact with Carson.

"Mr. Swan you're—"

"No." Wanda said.

"Carson is this really happening?" Wanda asked him, the two being back in their living room.

He smiled and put his hand on her stomach like he did before. "Yes my love, it's really happening."

Carson pulled Wanda in for a kiss and she slid her arms around his neck. The two pulled away after a few seconds and Wanda looked up at Carson, letting out a small gasp at what she saw.

She could see the colour of his skin, his dark brown hair, his blue eyes. Wanda placed her hand on his cheek and rubbed her thumb along his skin as she looked up at him adoringly.

The two of them both looked around, watching as their living room suddenly came to life and turned into colour.

Carson looked at Wanda, in awe of the newly coloured sight in front of him. He ran his fingers through her red hair and smiled down at her lovingly.

"I love you, Wanda Maximoff." He met her eyes.

"And I love you, Carson Swan." Wanda giggled. "And nothing is ever going to stop that."
