Vaenera Targaryen was the third born daughter to King Viserys. The younger, more reckless and courageous twin to Helaena. A lot more out there compared to her twin sister - and as Alicent Hightower would say; more of a handful than her four other children.

  Many spoke that while Helaena came out so quiet they feared that she was not breathing, Vaenera entered the world screaming the walls of the Red Keep down. Announcing to them that she was there to make their lives more entertaining.

  She was in fact a handful. She had Viserys horrified because as she grew up she continued to remind him of one person. His brother and personal torturer. Her uncle - Daemon Targaryen; the rogue prince. She hated the rules, snuck out any chance she could, ventured through the secret passageways of the castle and could use a sword better than her three brothers combined. She had a desire for adventures and she couldn't find many of those in the Red Keep — only gossip, lies and betrayal, so of course she had to go off and find her own.

  Vaenera was by far one of the boldest and fiercest out of her and her siblings. She only grew wilder and it came to the point that Alicent had talked her husband into sending her second daughter to Winterfell with the Wolves.

  After some convincing, Viserys agreed and had requested Rickon Stark, Lord of Winterfell, take her in as his ward and a companion to his son. Of course no one would deny a request from the King, so Rickon accepted immediately. In 120 AC, after Laena Velaryon's death and the incident at Driftmark that involved the royal children - Vaenera was sent off to Winterfell.

That was where the story of Cregan Stark and Vaenera Targaryen began. The two grew to be a powerful and vicious pair. Playing a tremendous part in the Dance of the Dragons.
