It was hot as hell but the AC was on full blast and I was just glad the classes in my department were fully loaded with AC. We were currently having class Statistics for that matter and all I cared about at that moment was finding a magical Prince in Neverland. Yes as you guessed it I was fast asleep thanks to the AC which was on full blast.

"Why are you people making noise now. Do you want me to leave the class for you ni? Lo— look at that one that is sleeping"

Someone tapped me to wake me up and I slowly raised my head in response. The lecturer glared at me before instructing me to remain standing till the class was over. I had no other choice but to obey, while standing my mind drifted to last night how I was going backs and forth on the phone with my mom. Long story short I didn't win the argument but she let me stay in the hostels on the condition that I would pack all my load and she would come to pick me up.

In the next class, we had communication for development in mass communication another boring class I was hoping to sleep through. Sadly I wasn't feeling sleepy anymore due to standing throughout the remaining periods of the last class. I was awake throughout the 2 hours of the class Listening to the lecturer on The topic of Diffusion of innovation.

The next class we were to have was and elective and it was by 4. Right now the clock read  3:30 pm already. Since I brought food from the hostel today I decided to stay and eat in class today plus Ronke and Mayowa were not around so I was all alone. Once I was done eating I headed for the next class which was in room 101.

when I was heading in that direction I bumped into Idowu, the same guy I took pictures with the other day. Scratch that, the guy  Aaliyah made me take pictures with because she believes I like him, and so does everyone in my department. I'm not saying they are wrong but at the same time, I can't stand him sometimes especially when he starts testing and teasing me for no reason. I decided to take  a detour to go and talk to him

"Hey Idowu, hey I've been looking all over for you, I wanted to return your wallet to you."

"Why, I'm pretty sure you took it when I wasn't looking, and now here you are. Pretending like you found it so you can return it and use it as a chance to talk to me again. Isn't that it?"

" huh,  Whao! what are you talking about you"

I asked him looking lost and confused as to what he was talking about. I was about to clarify myself and explain to him that he had it all wrong but he stopped me saying.

" oh stop, and stop the false facęde Okay, stop fooling everyone to think we are a couple. we both know we are not. Ha we are not even friends. So please drop the act"

Without another word he looked at me with a scorn on face and walked out of the class room leaving me alone. I have no idea what I did to deserve so much hate form him and In all honesty I'm not sure I want to find out. I think it's best that I really stop trying to be friends with him, because deep down that's what I wanted. I liked him enough to wanna be friends with him but not enough to actually be in a relationship with him how much more the couple goals everyone in my set keep tagging us as.

To be honest I am sick of them tagging us with that but I've know better than to fight it. Last time I tried fighting something like this the names and teasing stayed longer than it was supposed too. It was sooo annoying because I didn't like the guys they paired me up with so I put up a fight. The guy on the other hand only found it amusing because he must have developed some sort of feeling for me and this was all In primary school.

Long story short I wasn't going to let history repeat it by fighting this one too. If my classmates called me his nickname " pepperonie" I answer and if I didn't feel like it I pretend not to hear, just so whatever silly trend they want to create from both of us doesn't go along way. I sighed,  about to make my way out of the class when Idowu came back in with his lips I'm a thin line and his eyes squarely on me or rather the item I was holding which was his wallet.

He took it out of my hand harshly and left the class immediately. I didn't  bother making too much of what just happened, I just left the class I was standing in and head to the next class from my next lecture. I wasn't going to let Idowu aka pepperonie sprinkle too much Pepe on my mood and ruin it for the rest of  that afternoon.

Well it's short but oh well I didn't intend for the chapters in this book to be long soo...
