the lyrics are really touching. they give me a message of two people staying by each other's sides, even through their hardships. my two best friends irl have been with me since preschool, so i can relate to this song.

"the flowers that i see sometimes, i dont know how precious they are. because its so pretty, i like it. it will probably stay here, right?"

i love the vibe that this whole song and mv gives. whenever i listened to the teasers, i wasnt too sure if id like it, but day6 never makes bad songs sooo... 

"the day when we were looking at the sunset, and when i said that i was lucky to find you, it was quite a long time ago. Now, the sunset is just the beginning of a night. "

the way it was a bit more chill and then built up kinda reminded me of their song 'warning!' from the shoot me album. i guess it makes sense since it's youth part 1 and part 2. anyways, this song lowkey gave me p!atd and fob vibes. the lyrics to me seem like two people drifting apart. person x really wants to be close with person y again, but person y keeps pushing them away, in a way where they try to be subtle. everyone has been in that type of situation, whether you're on the receiving or giving end.

"it's okay to hurt me at least in my head. would you rather me a headache? at least then i can feel you."

also kinda gave me p!atd and fob vibes. the lyrics to me told a story of someone who has been hurt by their past lovers and has met someone who they're starting to take interest in.

this is the last one that gave me p!atd and fob vibes, i swear. it also lowkey sounds like 'how bad can I be' from the lorax. I think the lyrics were being told in the point of view of a person who suddenly changed extremely, kinda like how a person would change from one grade to the next.

"dont look at me with those startled eyes, im no longer the same person you knew"

marathon
this one gave off more lazy vibes. the lyrics seem to be telling the story of someone who works really hard no matter what they do. everyone gets to a point in their life where someone just needs to tell them to take it easy. it may seem good to always work hard, but when that's all you do, there needs to be a time to just relax

"dont you run run run, its already been very hard. even if you walk now, its okay."

beautiful feeling
this song has been out since september and i still love it. its very calm and has uplifting/touching lyrics. to me, its platonic love, but it can be interpreted in any way. "love" is a very strong word but is still sometimes not enough to describe how you feel. love isnt just felt between family or significant others, but is also felt between friends. 

"im so happy, im crying. some people say love, but i think theres something more than that"
