𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐧𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮'𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐦𝐞𝐞𝐭 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒐𝒏𝒆. 𝐁𝐮𝐭 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐝𝐨, 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐧𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐛𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐚𝐦𝐞.

𝐈𝐓 𝐖𝐀𝐒 𝐀 𝐁𝐑𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓, 𝐒𝐔𝐍𝐍𝐘 𝐒𝐔𝐌𝐌𝐄𝐑 𝐃𝐀𝐘, when Jenna Romero and her best friends, Nicki Duncan and Ali Mills went to the local theatre to see Rocky 3. After walking into the theatre and taking their seats, the girls sipped their cola, and opened their box of candy and ate their popcorn.

"I'm so glad we get to do this girls." Ali smiled as she sat her drink in the cup holder. "By the way, you guys wanna have a sleepover at my house?"

Jenna, who sat in between Nicki and Ali, smiled as she set her cola down in the cup holder. "I would love to, and I'm glad we get to do this as well." she smiled as she opened her box of m&ms and offered some to her best friends, who graciously accepted them. "I was not about sit and listen to my brothers have phone sex with the latest girls they're talking to."

"That had to be traumatizing." Nicki laughed. "I'd love to have a sleepover Ali." she added as the movie began

"Finally, we get to see good ol' Sly Stallone." Ali smiled

Sitting behind the three best friends, was a group of five teenage boys. By name: Johnny Lawrence, Bobby Brown, Jimmy Lawson, and Dutch, who were members of the Cobra Kai dojo in town. Ali had met Tommy, as they were in the same homeroom their freshman year, but Jenna and Nicki had never seen them before.

"Hey, check out those hot chicks." Johnny said, gesturing to Jenna, Nicki, and Ali

"The brunette is beautiful." Jimmy said with pure adoration as he ran a hand through his hair. "I want to meet her."

"There's two brunettes. Which one are you talking about?" Tommy asked, setting his drink in the cup holder

"The one in the middle." Jimmy said

"This is gonna be fun." Dutch smirked, pouring milk duds into his hand, smirking at the three girls in front of him, and his friends arrogantly snickered

As Jenna ate some of Ali's popcorn, she felt something hit the back of her head, then glanced down when it fell in her lap: a milk dud. "You've gotta be fucking shitting me." she whispered and rolled her eyes in annoyance

"What?" Ali questioned, turning to her best friend.

Jenna turned around to see the five boys arrogantly snickering, then turned around to answer her best friend. "You'll never believe this, but there's five assholes sitting behind us, and one of them just threw something at my head."

Nicki and Ali peaked over their shoulders and saw the five boys snickering. Like their best friend, they also rolled her eyes in annoyance. "Just try to ignore them, Jen. Not sure if we can move anywhere else, as this place is packed." Ali said

Jenna nodded as she sipped her ice cold cherry cola, with two pumps of cherry syrup. Now, let's talk about Jenna's temper. She was mild tempered, but she had a temper when she needed it, especially since she grew up with older brothers, who would piss her off for no reason at all, mainly just to hear her yell and scream, which they thought was hilarious, but Jenna most certainly did not.

Jenna turned her attention back to the movie, when a milk dud hit Ali in the head and the blonde angrily stood up from her seat and began yelling at the boys. "You realize clubber lang is the bad guy, right? He's not a role model."

"You're no model either, thunder thighs." Dutch said as he threw another milk dud at Ali 

"You're an asshole!" Nicki angrily spat as she and Jenna stood up from their seats.

"You fucking dicks!" Jenna angrily spat. "Didn't your parents ever teach any of you any manners?!"

"Thunder thighs?! Guess I shouldn't be eating all this popcorn then!" Ali said as she poured popcorn down Dutch's shirt, getting melted butter on him in the process

Admiring the blonde, Johnny turned to Dutch and said, "What a firecracker."

Jimmy and Bobby were looking at each other and snickering. Jenna and Jimmy locked eyes, and he felt something he had never felt before. Love. Jenna however, rolled her eyes and scoffed as she felt nothing but pure annoyance.

"What the fuck are you laughing at pretty boy?!" Jenna angrily yelled in Jimmy's face as she angrily dumped her cherry coke down his shirt

"What a girl." Jimmy smiled, not even angry that his chest and abdomen, were sticky with cherry syrup. "But fuck, that shit's cold."

The three girls left the movie theatre, arms linked and giggling. Johnny had fallen for Ali, and Jimmy had fallen for Jenna. The two boys fell in love and they fell in love hard.

The next day, Jenna, Nicki, and Ali met up at their favorite hangout, Golf N' Stuff. If they weren't here, they were either at the beach, at the mall, or the three girls were having sleepovers at one of the other's homes. Either way, they were an inseparable trio, and joined at the hip.

"You wanna play shoot away with us Jen?" Nicki asked as she placed her tokens in her pocket

"Actually, I was going to play Pac-Man. There's no way, I'm letting ali have a higher score than me." Jenna laughed

Ali laughed as she placed her tokens in her pocket. "Oh come on Jen, that was one time."

"It might have been one time, but you know I love Pac-Man." Jenna laughed. "I'll catch you guys later."

"See you in a little while!" her best friends smiled, as they walked to the shoot away machine.

Placing her headphones over her ears, and turning on her walkman, Elvis Presley's Baby, Let's Play House began to play. She was too engrossed in her game and her music to notice a certain blonde in a red jacket flirting with Ali and Dutch flirting with Nicki.

As Jenna continued playing Pac-Man, and the boys continued pestering her best friends on the other side of the arcade, she finally beat Ali's score at Pac-Man. Just as she was about to put another token in, she felt a tap on her shoulder. expecting it to be Ali and Nicki, she stopped her music and took off her headphones. "Guess who just beat your score—" she smiled warmly, but her smile faded when she saw who tapped her on the shoulder.

"Hi." Jimmy smiled

Jenna rolled her eyes and scoffed. feeling pure annoyance with the boy who laughed and egged his friend on at the movie theatre, she said, "Oh, no. Don't even try it. As a matter of fact, I have a bone to pick with you. You're one of those assholes from the movie theatre."

"Hold on a second, I'm not like them I swear." Jimmy said to the beautiful brunette he had grown to like.

Jenna folded her arms over her chest, and rolled her eyes in annoyance. "Oh, yeah? Then why were you and that asshole with the luke skywalker hair laughing when that bleach blonde dickhead threw milk duds at my best friends, who are honestly like my sisters? You thought I didn't see that, did you?"

Jimmy was silent. He honestly had nothing to say. Jenna couldn't help the small smile that crept on her beautiful lips. "What's the matter pretty boy? Cat got your tongue?"

"Damn, you're a feisty one." Jimmy laughed

"So I've been told. You're lucky I'm in a forgiving mood, you see I finally beat my best friend's score on Pac-Man, and I'm listening to Elvis Presley, whom I love more than anything and anyone. I'm sorry, we haven't been formally introduced. My name is Jenna. Jenna Romero, an America of Cuban and Italian descent. What's your name?" Jenna asked as she extended her hand for a handshake

Jimmy smiled fondly as he shook the brunette's hand. "Pleasure meeting you, Jenna Romero. I'm Jimmy Lawson, an American of American descent."

"Well, it's a pleasure meeting you as well Jimmy. You know, my friends are playing shoot away, would you like to play Pac-Man with me?"

"I'd love to."
