Dr. Mahajan - Monami, I want to know this very clearly. Tumhare aur Karan ke beech aakhir kya chal raha hai??

Monami knew that one day she has to face this question but wasn't aware of the fact that it'll be so sudden and quick. She was a bit taken a back by the question and withdrew her hands from Deepak's hold.

Monami (looking here & there) - V..vo papa, ku..chh bhi na..hi..

Dr. Mahajan - Mumma ki kasam?!

Monami looked at Deepak with a jolt and was actually shocked because she wasn't expecting that Deepak would ever drag her mother in between such conversations. Actually, Deepak saw her fingers crossed behind her back which deepend his doubt.

Deepak - Monami, I know tum apni mom ki kasam kabhi jhooti nahi khaogi. Come on, come out with it!

Monami got extremely nervous due to Deepak's sudden enquiry. She was finding a way to escape the situation but her mind went completely blank. While the situation was no different in VarJeet's ward. Karan was standing in front of them since minutes and his parents were just staring at him.

Karan (joking around) - Mummy, maanta hoon ki aapka chhota beta bahot handsome hai lekin iska ye matlab nahi ki aap aise tado!

Varsha (threatening tone) - Batau tujhe abhi!

Karan budged a bit from his position when his eyes fell on Ranjeet. He got a thought that now his father can be his only saviour. Karan was about to rush to his father when he halted listening Ranjeet's words.

Ranjeet - Bilkul nahi! Sochna bhi mat ki main tujhe teri maa ke prakop se bacha paunga. (Murmuring) Main to khud nahi bach sakta!

Varsha (gritting her teeth) - Lagta hai bete se pehle baap ko prakop dikhana padega!

Ranjeet shifted slightly away from her and sat with a finger on his lips, making Karan surprised and more nervous.

Varsha - Tu idhar aayega ya nahi?!

Without wasting any second further & angry-ing his mom anymore, Karan rushed towards Varsha by the speed of light and stood beside her like an obedient and innocent child with his both hands in the front & head hung low.

Ranjeet (in mind) - Varsha madam ko achhe-achho ko control karna aata hai.

Varsha - Karan, apne pure pariwaar se itne saalon baad milke bahot zyada achha laga hai. Bilkul special si feeling aayi hai. (taking Karan's hands in hers) Karan beta, Param apni life mein already settle ho chuka hai. He's married & blessed with a daughter! Beta, ab tujhe bhi shaadi kar leni chahiye.

Karan (in mind) - Main to kabse taiyaar hoon mumma, lekin aapke to-be samdhi kaha manenge!

Karan wanted to express himself aloud in front of his parents but stopped in order to let them express whatever they're thinking.

Karan (blushing slightly) - Mumma, sh..shaadi? Itni jaldi?!

Ranjeet - Tu dulhan ki tarah kyu sharma raha hai?! Aaj hi nahi karva rahe shaadi!

Karan facepalmed himself realising that his Rani Sahiba says right that he's a very bad actor and did a bit much overacting here. Karan stabled himself as Varsha made him sit in front of her.

Varsha - Haan Karan, shaadi! Ek na ek din to har kisi ko ghar basaana hi hota hai. Tujhe bhi basaana hoga!

Ranjeet - Aur teri maa ne to ladki bhi dhoond li hai!

Listening to Varsha's wish to get him married, Karan got happy for a moment that now he'd be able to confess about his love in front of his parents openly. But his happiness didn't last long when Ranjeet mentioned about some random girl which Varsha has selected for him.

Karan - Kya?! Magar mumma aapne mujhse bina puchhe kyu ladki dhundi?!

Varsha (sternly) - Kya problem hai meri select kari hui ladki mein? Sundar hai, susheel hai, sanskari hai, well settled hai, achhe ghar se hai! Problem kya hai tujhe?!

Karan had enough of Varsha's praisings about the girl she has chosen for his alliance. He closed his eyes not being able to take her blabbering anymore. He was just having an image of his Rani Sahiba in his mind as no other girl could stay in his heart and mind except her & no one could provide him with the utmost peace which Monami does.

Karan (in flow-flow) - Problem ye hai ki vo ladki 'Rani Sahiba' nahi hai!

Humne Toh Pyar Mein Aisa Kaam Kar Liya

Silence prevailed the whole ward as Karan blurted out what he wanted, making his parents smirk as their plan worked. Karan opened his eyes wide with a jolt as he realized that he has blurted out the truth in the fear of getting married to someone else, other than his Rani Sahiba. Karan lowered his head being nervous about VarJeet's reaction. But somewhere at the back of his head, he felt his heart pounding and body getting heated up.

Karan - M..mera matlab vo..vo...

Ranjeet (smirking internally) - Kya matlab tha tera? Aur pehle to ye bata ki ye 'Rani Sahiba' kaun hai? Jab dekho bus 'Rani Sahiba! Rani Sahiba!' ka jaap karta rehta hai!

Param (entering the ward) - Ye kya batayega papa, main batata hoon iska sach. 

Actually, Param who purchased some medicines from the pharmacy downstairs, came to VarJeet's ward to keep them & that's when he overheard some part the conversation between his parents & his lil brother and decided to step in not knowing that they're talking about Karan & his love interest. While Param thought that his parents are scolding him about his changed behavior after their & Param's demise. 

Before Param could utter anything, Karan shuts his mouth by his palm and prevented him to even utter a single word.

Karan - Nahi..Nahi bhaiya! Aap kuchh nahi bologe!

Ranjeet - Bolne de na Karan use.

Param was trying hard to wriggle out of Karan's tight hold & expose the reason behind Karan's changed behavior. But in all this quarrel, Karan spit out the truth by himself!

Karan - Bhaiya, aap kuchh mat bolna! Monami hi meri Rani Sahiba hai! I LOVE HER!

These words dropped like a bomb on Varsha & Ranjeet and looking at their shocked faces, Karan too loosened his hold on Param's mouth. 

Param (whispering to Karan) - Chhote, ye kya bol diya tune?! Mujhe to laga tha yaha kuchh aur baat chal rahi hai, to main aise hi tapak gaya beech mein!

Karan glared at Param with wide eyes and averted his gaze towards his parents whose shocked expressions changed to smirking ones.

Meanwhile, inside Dr. Mahajan's cabin, Monami was having a high time making excuses to avoid spitting the truth.  

Dr. Mahajan (getting fed up of her silence) - Fine, mat batao!

Saying so, Dr. Mahajan left towards the door of his cabin furiously leaving behind Monami in a dilemma.

Monami - Papa, please rukiye!

Monami stopped her father who was about to leave his cabin. Dr. Mahajan smirked as he got that he hitted Monami's emotional spot and his plan worked. Dr. Mahajan came back and again sat in front of her.

Monami - Papa, aap please mujhe galat mat samajhna but I can't hold it back anymore, I wanna confess everything to you now!

Dr. Mahajan - Fine, say!

Monami took a deep breath and decided to confess whatever she has in her heart.

Monami - P..papa, I..I am in love with Karan!

Dr. Mahajan's forehead straightened as his biggest doubt got confirmed. Without saying anything, he left his cabin and shocked Monami by his actions. She wanted to know where he went so she followed him. Dr. Mahajan barged in VarJeet's ward and behind him, Monami too came.

As MoRan looked at each other, they understood that the other was also going through the same thing. Their eyes said it all that how relieved they are after confessing the truth to their parents but were also scared for their reaction. Dr. Mahajan, Varsha, Ranjeet & Param noticed the eye-talk between MoRan and it irked Dr. Mahajan a lot. Dr. Mahajan was about to say something in anger to VarJeet, when Ranjeet interrupted. 

Ranjeet (trying to stand up) - Param, z..ara help kar!

Though he was getting better with each day, still some weakness prevailed in his body. He tried to stand up with the support of the wall but again fell on the bed, as his legs weren't in the state to carry his whole weight. Seeing him trying to stand up, Param & Karan rushed towards him and held him by either side. Monami also reacted and had some concern & daughterly love for Ranjeet in her eyes, which didn't go unnoticed by Varsha & Dr. Mahajan. Karan & Param too saw that & were assured that Monami will be accepting VarJeet as her own parents, if they got married.

Ranjeet (standing by the support of his sons) - Dr. Mahajan, isse pehle aap kuchh kahe, main kuchh kehna chahta hoon. Ijazat hai?

Dr. Mahajan - Bilkul, kahiye!

Ranjeet - Dr. Sahab, aapne, aapki beti ne aur aapke pure staff ne humari khatir aur dekh-bhaal mein koi kami nahi chhodi, jiske liye hum aapke shukr guzar hain.

Dr. Mahajan - Arre arre Mr. Shergill, isme 'shukr guzar' hone wali kaunsi baat hai?! Ye to humara farz tha!

Everyone smiled at this comforting conversation between Dr. Mahajan & Mr. Shergill, making a ray of hope rise in MoRan's heart regarding their relationship.

Ranjeet (joining his hands in front) - Dr. Mahajan, main aur meri wife, Varsha apne bete Karan ke liye aapki beti Monami ka haath mangna chahte hain! Kya vo humare ghar ki bahu banegi?!

This was a big shocker for MoRan as they expected some objection from their side but here Ranjeet himself is keeping the proposal of marriage. Monami & Karan were blushing hard while looking down, while Param was whisper-teasing them. MoRan even started to imagine how their life would be if Dr. Mahajan agreed for their alliance, which made their cheeks more heated. Karan shifted a bit close to Monami and touched his shoulder to her's teasing and intimidating her.

Being in their own world & happiness, everyone forgot about Dr. Mahajan who was standing still without any expressions on his face. It looked as if he's completely shook by Ranjeet's statement. He took some time to process Ranjeet's words and came out of the trance and glared at Ranjeet with wide eyes and flaring nostrils.

Ranjeet - Dr. Sahab, kaha kho gaye? Banegi na Monami humare ghar ki chhoti bahu??
