Witnessing Dr. Mahajan's harsh reply to Ranjeet and breaking MoRan's dream of having a happy life together, VarJeet & MoRan left for Shergill mansion. While ParKha & Faizi had already left for their home. Karan was in the front, driviing the car and Monami was beside him. While Varsha and Ranjeet were resting leaning against the car seat and sometimes on each other's shoulders. 

MoRan first looked at VarJeet's sleeping figure and then passed a sad smile to each other.

Karan (whispering) - Rani Sahiba, aise udas na ho. Tum par na ye sad face achha nahi lagta. Mujhe to meri vo pehle wali, 'always happy' wali Monami chahiye..vo bhi abhi, abhi aur abhi!!!

Monami finally chuckled at Karan's efforts to make her smile and lighten her mood. Her lips finally curved into a big, beautiful smile making Karan sigh in relief & admiration. In a drive of almost an hour or so, MoRan along with VarJeet reached their home in Deolali. Due to the movements of the car, Varsha and Ranjeet woke up by themselves and instant tears filled their eyes as their gaze shifted towards their house. That house had millions of sweet and bitter memories. PaRan were born in this house, they grew up here, they became determined commandos, Barkha came to this house after getting married and Baby was also born here only.

Varsha and Ranjeet's eyes filled with many emotions and even their heart was flooded with the sudden flow of memories. They just stood there admiring their castle of dreams and just recalled what all they lived and what all they missed. VarJeet didn't notice when MoRan came and stood beside them. Monami & Karan shared a look along with a smile and shook VarJeet slightly. VarJeet came back to their senses and walked ahead with Monami & Karan on their sides. 

As they reached near the entrance of their house, they saw Barkha already standing there with a Arti ki thali in her hand and a wide smile on her face. She smiled even more and pointed at something inside. As everyone peeped in, they saw Suhasini coming with her eyes closed by Param and Baby was holding one of her hands to guide her towards the gate. 

Suhasini - Param, ab to bata do kaha lekar ja rahe ho hume! Hatao haath!

Saying so, she shrugged off Param's hand from her eyes and what she saw shook her completely. Her one and only son whom she lost years back is standing all fit and fine in front of her. Suhasini couldn't believe her eyes! Her son & her daughter-in-law were right in front of her and due to her happiness, she forgot to react. Ranjeet & Varsha smiled looking at Suhasini and bent down to take her blessings.

Ranjeet - Maa, aashirvaad nahi dengi?

This broke Suhasini into tears, and she immediately took Varsha & Ranjeet in a bone-crushing hug making all of them surprised and emotional. Suhasini cried her heart out in her son's embrace, letting out all the longingness & grief she had since years. She cried and kept crying till Barkha, Param & Karan consoled her. Soon she was all fine and the tears were also gone. Now no more sadness but happiness was reflecting from her face. Even VarJeet got tears seeing her after almost a decade. They genuinely missed their family & as now they all are together, there are no limits to their happiness now.

Varsha (smiling with tears) - Maa, bahu-bete itne dino baad aaye hain..aise rokar swagat karengi aap?

Suhasini (wiping her tears) - Hum bhi na, humare bahu-bete ke salamat hone ki khushi mein hum to unka swagat karna hi b..hul gaye. Barkha...

Barkha nods and passes her the puja ki thali which she had already prepared. MoRan who were standing behind VarJeet smiled looking at each other witnessing Suhasini's boundless happiness. Suhasini emotionally did aarti for Varsha & Ranjeet's welcome and all of them step inside the house.

All were in the living room, with a cup of tea in everyone's hand. Faizi had already left for the academy as he had some paperwork pending there. Ranjeet was sitting on the floor, keeping his head in his mother's lap, Varsha was beside Suhasini caressing Karan's hair, Param was in front of them with Baby sitting in his lap and Barkha & Monami were beside their partners. All were having a great time laughing, talking & reminiscing sweet memories. In short, no feeling of grief was present at the moment & everyone was so into cherishing this happy family time that they forgot what happened in the hospital.

Baby (confusingly pointing at VarJeet) - Papa, ye dono kaun hain?

Varsha smiled at her granddaughter's innocence and picked her up and made her sit on her lap and caressed her cheeks being emotional. Her getting emotional was evident and justified as she as a mother missed all those moments when she could see her sons growing. She missed how her teenage Param & toddler Karan became gentlemen. She missed welcoming her daughter-in-law grandly as a part of their family. She missed cradling and cooing her granddaughter as a newborn. A layer of fresh tears formed in her eyes which were noticed by Monami who was just beside Varsha. Monami held Varsha's palm and smiled widely making her realize that now she is with her family, so no more rona-dhona.

Varsha (pointing at Barkha) - Baby, jaise vo aapki mumma hain vaise hi main aapke papa aur chachu ki mumma hoon. Aur aapke Dadu unke papa. 

Baby (acting to understand) - Ohhh...badi dadi dadu ki mumma, aap papa ki mumma, mumma (Barkha) meri mumma to chachi kiski mumma?!

Everyone was lip tied at this question of the not so innocent kiddo. Karan & Monami shared a confused look while the rest of the family looked at them with a smirk and the situation got a bit awkward as Monami remembered how much Dr. Mahajan is against their marriage. If it would've been some other day, Monami & Karan must've blushed hard like tomatoes but today, Baby's innocent query made them realize how hard things are going to be for them. Ranjeet instantly sensed the sadness in Monami's eyes and thought to handle the situation as he couldn't stand her sadness anymore. Ranjeet & Varsha have made a different bond with Monami in the hospital. They feel family-like with her. Her politness, respectfulness, bubbly & down to earth nature really made a special place in VarJeet's heart. And Monami too respect and connect with them as if she knows them since ages.

Saying so, Ranjeet lifted Baby in his arms making her giggle in joy & excitement. The dada-poti duo were about to leave from the living room when Suhasini who was all unaware of the hospital incident stopped them. 

Suhasini - Arre Jeet, abhi to aaye ho. Baad mein khel lena dono. Abhi zara humare paas to baitho do ghadi! Aur Barkha, zara sabko ek-ek cup chai to pila do. 

Barkha - Ji Dadiji, abhi layi!

Barkha left to the kitchen and Monami too followed her inside. Barkha kept the water to boil and meanwhile Monami cut the ginger. Barkha added sugar, tea leaves and milk and Monami observed her 'special chai' technique and was helping her side-by-side. This synchrony of the two made them smile wide! While the tea was boiling on low gas, Barkha observed Monami is still sad about what all her father did & said. Her smile was also dull and that 'Monami wala' glow was missing from her face.

Barkha (side-hugging Monami) - To-be devrani ji, itna sad mat ho varna log bolenge ki zaroor iski jethani iss par atyachar karti hogi. 

Monami chuckled and hugged Barkha back and felt as if she's hugging her elder sister. Though Monami never had any elder sibling, being around Param & Barkha always makes her feel secure and preserved like a younger sibling feels around his/her elder sibling. 

Monami - Bhabhi, main aapki devrani to tab banungi na jab mere papa maanenge. Papa maane hi nahi to Devarni nahi banungi aur (jokingly) fir logo se ek mauka chhin jaega na ye kehne ka ki aap mujhpar atyachar karte ho!

Barkha - Hm..keh to tum sahi rahi ho but keeping jokes apart, tum chinta mat karo. Tumhare papa zaroora maanenge! Jaha pyaar sacha ho na to vaha to bhagwaan bhi madad karte hain. Aur jis kaam mein bhagwaan ho na, use kya bhala koi insaan rok payega!? Now cheer up, aise achhi nahi lagti tum!

Monami's face instantly lit up hearing Barkha's boosting & cheering words. Monami started pouring the chai in the cups but not before hugging Barkha once again and that too very tightly. Both Barkha & Monami came out of the kitchen and Barkha gave tea to everyone and just by having a single sip, everyone was really impressed by the taste & the aroma of the tea. 

Varsha - Chai to kafi achhi banati ho tum, beta Barkha. 

Barkha - Mummy ji main chai to sahi banati hoon, lekin ye chai maine nahi Monami ne banai hai. 

Monami immediately turned towards Barkha and her eyes widened in surprise wondering that she just cut the gingers as she was standing ideally and nothing's done by her. Whatever was done, was done by Barkha. Barkha saw her reaction and winked at her. Param who saw this silent conversation between the two ladies smiled internally as he figured out in the first sip itself that it is made by his wife only.

Param (smirking) - Manna padega Monami, kafi achhi chai bana leti ho tum. 

Suhasini - Karan, tumne kabhi bataya hi nahi hume ki Monami itni badhiya chai banati hai. 

Karan just nodded and smiled awkwardly while sipping onto the tea. 

Karan (in mind) - Batata to tab na jab khud pata hota. Meri Rani Sahiba ko chai banani aati hai?!

Monami thanked Barkha with a smile & Barkha just blinked her eyes in return and the Shergills & the soon to-be Shergill again got indulged in their talks and memories. Looking at the way the Shergill family was laughing and enjoying each other's company, Monami looked admiringly at everyone. Everyone already considers her a part of their family even after knowing that it's very difficult to manofy Dr. Mahajan to agree for Karan & Monami's alliance. Monami really felt emotional and touched when Varsha caressed her hair just like a mother and felt jealous of Karan for having a father like Ranjeet. She too wanted to be a part of this perfectly imperfect family and add on some more love to it. 

Aaoaao... Aaoaao... Aaoaao...

Now Monami was determined to convince her father anyhow and make him realize how much Karan loves her. Monami is well aware of Deepak's insecurities, but she made up her mind of making him realize how much of a family man a commando can prove to be! 

Suhasini - Monami, tum apni family se kab milva rahi ho?

Everybody got conscious at Suhasini's question as they thought that this might hurt Monami by making her remember what all her father said. But to their surprise, the wide confident smile on Monami's face didn't fade and she lovingly kept her head on Varsha's shoulder who caressed her cheek loving and affectionately. Karan was about to say something to change the topic when Monami interveined. 

Monami - Ji Dadiji, main zaroor aapko bahot jald apni family se milvaungi. 

Karan looks at Monami amused, and she just gave a big smile in return. It was enough for Karan to understand that half the battle is already one as they both are not going to let any third person come in between them & no one can separate them now due to the love they have for each other & the support they are getting from the Shergills.
