𝐍𝐨𝐰 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐢𝐧𝐠:

Sana could not believe that she was back where she just was a week ago.

She sighed as she took a big swig of her coffee, hoping it would wake her up a little bit more.

"Sana...? Is that you?"

The brunette girl looked back at the sound of the distinctly familiar voice and her eyes lit up once they met the other girl's.

"Momo!"

Sana dashed over and threw her arms around the other girl who was equally excited to see her.

"Sana! It's been way too long!"
"I can't believe you're finally back!"

Osaka Momo was a good friend of Sana's when they were in elementary school. The two girls loved spending time together and were both equally heartbroken when they found out that Momo would be temporarily moving away.

Wendy Darling, Momo's mom, had wanted to move back to London which was where she had grown up. However, Wendy promised that they would move back before Momo would turn 21 so she could still be in her fairytale.

The elders were incredibly hesitant, but with the new modern technology of video calls, they were able to negotiate using video calls for the storybook run throughs.

But now Momo was back! And Sana was overjoyed.

"Would you like to come watch my storybook run through?" Momo asked. "I'm assuming you have one today as well, so if you can't, its okay too!"
"Sure, I'd love to!" Sana smiled.
"Sweetheart!" a third voice called out.

Momo's face lit up as her head turned in the direction of her lover.

"Suga!"

Momo ran straight to him and jumped into his arms.

Sugawara easily caught her and spun her around once before setting her down and pressing a kiss onto her forehead.

As the son of Peter Pan, Sugawara Koshi was just like his dad; incredibly sweet and a little bit reckless. But he had a big heart and loved with everything he had.

"How are you, my fairy?" Suga asked as he looked at Momo as if she held the entire world in her hands.
"I'm good now that you're here," Momo smiled. "Look who I ran into!"

Sana gave an awkward little wave from where she stood and Suga's face lit up with recognition.

"Hi Sana! You're here for a storybook run through too?" Sugawara asked as he and Momo walked over.
"Unfortunately," Sana responded, but there was no real malice to her voice. "Its nice to see you, Sugawara-san."
"Just Suga is fine," he grinned.
"Sana is going to come watch our storybook run through!" Momo smiled.
"Oh, how fun! Let's go then!"

"Welcome to the storybook run through of The Cursed Fairy."

The elder smiled fondly at Sana and Sugawara who were sitting in the front row.

Sana was in the furthest row back, listening in. She was unbelievably happy for Momo and Suga - they had the most perfect love story and they were also so undeniably in love with each other.

"Let us begin the run through," the elder said.

He cleared his throat and tapped the cover of the book.

The pages flipped open until it reached the story they were looking for.

A magical projection was shown and the elder began to speak.

"Miss Momo Osaka, you are a fairy whose only power is to grant the wishes of villains. This gives her a title of 'cursed fairy' rather than just fairy. All the other fairies look down on you and you feel isolated from the rest of the fairies. Your current villains you are looking after are the Miyan trio."

Sana's gaze fell on three heads full of dyed hair.

"Atsumu Miya, Osamu Miya, and Rin Miya are all pirates sailing across the sea to rob from villages. Sugawara Koshi is their first mate. There are also three other crew members aboard the ship, Aikawa Sachie, Kei Tsukishima, and Mei Nanase."

The three Miyas all wore different expressions on their faces. Atsumu seemed to have a little smirk on his face, Osamu was indifferent, and Rin looked rather uncomfortable. The two other girls who were side characters, sat off centre, but they were sitting calmly as they listened.

"Whenever Momo comes to grant a wish to the Miyans, Sugawara is instantly taken in by her beauty and her majestic aura. He hates the way that the Miyans abuse their power over her. Finally, one day, Sugawara can no longer take it and challenges the three of them to a duel."

Sana sat up a bit in her seat, surprised. She hadn't known this part of their story.

"If any of the three Miyans win, Sugawara will remain a crew member of the ship until his life's end. If Sugawara wins, they must wish for Momo to be set free from being a cursed fairy. The trio accepts and they part to begin preparing for the duel. The Miyans plot to try and wish for weapons that would immediately guarantee their victory over Sugawara and they decided to go one at a time to tell Momo their wishes."

Now, the youngest of the triplets, Rin, seemed more calm and less fidgety in her seat.

"As this is happening, Rin slips out and allows Momo to see Sugawara for one last time as she has a bad feeling about the outcome of the duel. Momo goes to Sugawara and instantly cries in his arms as she scolds him for his reckless thinking. Sugawara explains that the reason he did it was so that she could be free and would never have to feel burdened again. The two of them share a kiss and a magical wave of energy thrums throughout the ship."

Sana glances at the storybook image projected above and smiles. There's a clear picture of Momo's cursed black dress being washed away by a rain of glitter as it changes to a soft pink.

"Sugawara pulls away as the two of them realize that she is no longer a cursed fairy; she's free. The Miyans are able to break down the door, but once they realize that they no longer have any power over her, they instantly begin apologizing and offer their ship as a sign of defeat. Momo and Sugawara become co-captains of the ship with their first mate, Rin. Osamu and Atsumu are allowed to stay on as other crew members and even are also able to fall in love with some of the other crew members previously seen."

Sana glances in the direction of Sachie, Mei, and Tsukishima.  The two girls were both now smiling as they stare at their respective partner. Tsukishima, on the other hand, appeared to have a completely blank face. However, if Sana squinted, she could see lips curving into a small smirk.

"The ship sails off with its goal being to return the stolen treasures back to the villages they had stolen it from."

Clapping echoes throughout the room as the book flips to a page reading 'The End'.

"You are all dismissed," the elder says.

As the elder walks away, Atsumu runs towards the direction of the two girls and as soon as he reaches Sachie, he begins peppering kisses all over her face.

The girl tries to push him away, but it's clear that she doesn't actually want him to stop according to the smile she was desperately trying to hide.

Osamu walks towards the middle and meets Mei halfway.

Sana watches as the two of them rejoice in a shared embrace and share a single, passionate kiss. She smiles softly down at them, slightly envious of the relationships the three of them have.

Tsukishima pats Rin on the head affectionately, his face as red as a tomato.

"Good job, little Miya," Sana hears him say to her.

Would she be able to feel that kind of love within her own story some day too?

At the moment, she truly didn't know what to do.

Soooo what do we think of this chapter? I think Momo and Suga's story is super interesting and absolutely perfect for them <3

Plus we got to see the three Miyans and their respective love interest.

Sachie is made by Laska ( kageyamasatoru ), Rin is made by Riles ( discoshoto ), and Mei is my own OC <3
