Jazz was walking slowly next to Mazikeen, 

"Did you set up everyone with one of us yet?"

Mazikeen sighed, 

"For the most part, possibly, still working on everything...Lennox and I decided to split all of us up because Lennox, Epps, Eddie, and I are the ones on this base with the most experience, so we each have squads to command within every recruit...and I talked to Optimus about when we might find new Autobots, and he hopes that more people will come later this week. Sun and Sides are going away to check out those con signals so I can't start them with Eddie yet...and don't even ask me how I set them up with Eddie...but they seem to be the most behaved with him and his squad and they are close combat so it would be perfect for their swords, that they seem intent on using primarily. Then Ironhide is with Lennox's prime trainees but he helps train everyone...then we got the newest recruits going to go with Epps and his team...but when we get the newest human recruits, I have to figure out how to split them up too, and I want to get a more special force structure like Will wants to do, but it's hard because I want each of them to be paired with one of you,"

Jazz smiled at her and patted her head gently, 

"Hey, if anyone can do it, you can,"

Mazikeen smiled and laughed, 

"Yeah, I just want these new recruits to listen, be respectful, and not be assholes,"

Jazz laughed, 

"I know, come on let's hurry up to your specialized training,"

Mazikeen groaned, 

"Yeah I know. We got new squadmates cuz Figgle decided to retire,"

"Yeah...a squad of three does not sound like a squad,"

"Yeah whateverrrr,"

Jazz laughed and they finally got to the training room,

"Have fun,"

"You too! Go to that meeting with Optimus,"

"Yes yes, I'm going,"

Mazikeen walked in and spotted Will, Epps, and three more faces that she recognized as Phillip, Darwin, and Tristan,

"Sup,"

They all nodded at her and Will and Epps smirked, 

"Right on time,"

The rules were simple: suit up and go through the obstacle course simulation. The only kicker was the the obstacle course was moving and there were false explosions every fifteen seconds anywhere you are and at random. There were targets from metal that they had to hit in the neck. Will was first to start running, 

"Fall in!"

Epps and Mazikeen were next and behind them the three lined up and ran, they formed a triangle formation. Mazikeen was the sharpshooter and immediately took out her twin guns as soon as she saw the metal, 

"1 o'clock!"

Mazikeen immediately ducked and rolled as Tristan shot the projectile going for her.

"12 o'clock!"

Will jumped to the side and Darwin threw a grenade at the metal that came down right where he stood moments ago.

"6 o'clock flinger!"

Phillip and Epps jumped over rubble before the bomb went off,

" Tag and Regroup at the stars!"

Mazikeen immediately went with Tristan as the two went to the right, Will was with Darwin, and Epps stayed with Phillip. Mazikeen and Tristan ran side by side, 

"Left!"

The two shot the metal and ducked as it exploded. Tristan smirked at her, 

"Having fun?"

Mazikeen coughed, 

"Yeah, always a blast. Pun intended,"

Tristan chuckled,

"Come on, let's just try to get to the stars first,"

Mazikeen smirked, 

"I like the way you think,"

They kept running and jumping over objects as they tried to get to the fake city's center. Mazikeen yelped as a bomb went off right next to her and she was flung back into Tristan and they both went down,

"Ouch,"

Tristan groaned, 

"Okay...the stupid engineering team got one point for that,"

Mazikeen nodded and stood up and helped him up, 

"Fucking bitches,"

They kept shooting and dodging as they got to the center of the city. Mazikeen smiled when she saw they were first, 

"Hah! Those bitches got nothing on us, Tristan!"

Tristan laughed and smirked, 

"We beat their asses!"

They ducked as they heard a bomb go off near them again and looked to see Will and Darwin running over to them. Mazikeen waved, 

"Yo! Guess who is buying lunch!"

Will rolled his eyes, 

"Mynx, I can see the blood from your arm,"

Mazikeen winced and shrugged, 

"It's a small cut from a bomb exploding right next to me! It's fine!"

They then saw Epps and Phillip running in, 

"We finished!"

Epps stopped as he saw Mazikeen, 

"You can't just not get injured for one single day?"

Mazikeen flipped him off, 

"Fuck you too!"

Epps laughed, and Will sighed, 

"Okay, I think we did good today. We stuck by our teams, and we got through it in good timing, but we can do better. One thing being, Mynx next time try to NOT get hurt,"

Mazikeen sighed, 

"Yeah, yeah,"

They laughed and walked out. Ironhide walked up to them with a proud smirk on his face, 

"Good job,"

The six smiled up at him and nodded, 

"Thank you,"

Mazikeen sighed, 

"Can you give me a ride to see Ratch?"

Ironhide chuckled, 

"Yeah,"

Mazikeen was quick to climb on his hand as she waved at her team. Ironhide glanced at her, 

"So, did you figure out that team stuff yet?"

Mazikeen groaned, 

"Yo, why is this so difficult?!"

"Nothing ever worth it is easy,"

Mazikeen sighed, 

"I know...That won't stop me from complaining though,"

"Oh, I know,"

Mazikeen chuckled, 

"It's just that...we scrapped the idea of me getting my own squad along with Will and Epps...AND WE JUST SCRAPPED IT RIGHT NOW! Eddie still will have his own squad will be backrunners, the guys set for evacs. Will, Epps, Tristan, Darwin, Phillip, and I are going to be one of the front liners of course. Then we got a different squad for snipers, another for heavy-duty canons, then the tanks...it's so much to think about, and Morshower is going to give us more people, and he promises that there will be no more Santangelos in the batch,"

"Santangelos?"

Mazikeen nodded, 

"Yeah, the dude that attacked me, they won't tell me shit but I know they interrogated him and I know he was undercover for someone...but I don't know who and I don't think they know either,"

Ironhide's expression hardened at the mention of the attack, but he nodded, 

"Don't worry, Maze, no one is going to hurt you here anymore,"

Mazikeen rubber her scraped shoulder, 

"Tell that to those stupid engineers...at least Morshower didn't try recruiting me to engineer that shit,"

Ironhide winced, 

"The human doctors would be overrun,"

Mazikeen shrugged, 

"Hey, at least I gave my squad better weapons,"

Ironhide chuckled, 

"Eddie still shows me that gun, he is very proud of it,"

Mazikeen laughed and nodded, 

"Good, he should be,"

Ironhide smiled as they went into the Medical Bay, 

"Ratchet,"

Ratchet turned and brought up his servo for Mazikeen to climb onto. He narrowed his optics at her, 

"How the frag did you get hurt during training?"

Mazikeen smiled brightly at him, 

"I'm just that talented,"

Ratchet sighed and looked at Ironhide, 

"Sit down over there, I need you still,"

Ironhide shrugged but sat down, and Ratchet brought Mazikeen closer to his face,

"Mazikeen, I want to try experimenting with your Allspark Powers,"

Mazikeen looked at him in surprise, 

"Really?"

Ratchet nodded and held up a small device, 

"Take this, if you teleport, I will be able to track you this time."

Mazikeen shrugged, took the small device, and put it in her pocket. Ratchet brought her over to Ironhide, 

"Ironhide here still has some dents from the last mission that he just came back from. I want you to focus and try to get those dents out,"

Mazikeen nodded and sat down on Ironhide's shoulder, and touched his chassis. She closed her eyes and thought back to what Primus had told her. She slowly felt her hands tingle, and her heart tugged at her chest. She felt electricity course through her and leave her hands. She heard two gasps and finally opened her eyes, 

"Did it work?!"

Ironhide laughed, 

"Hell yeah! It did, kid, I feel better than I have in years,"

Ratchet scanned Ironhide and laughed in disbelief, 

"Maze, his energon levels are through the roof! He is in the best shape he could be. It worked!"

Mazikeen laughed in relief and held up her fist, 

"FIST BUMP!"

"NO!"

Mazikeen pouted, 

"You two are no fun!"

Ratchet rolled his optics, 

"You can not break your had right now. It takes a while for bones to heal,"

Mazikeen shrugged, 

"Never stopped me before,"

Ironhide chuckled, 

"You are something else,"

Mazikeen winked at him, 

"You guys all love me for it,"

Ratchet sighed, 

"Just get back to that paperwork,"

Mazikeen laughed and brought out her datapad, 

"Yeah, yeah,"

She sat back down on the bed and stayed next to Ironhide as Ratchet did a complete scan of him and a physical check-up.
