After ending the call, Mazikeen walked to the wall that she was thrown into and stepped at the edge. 

"You better not fail me Phoenix,"

She immediately took off flying and saw her little brother falling, she saw something clutched in his arms and knew it was Rover. She screamed his name as she saw the bubble appear around him and inwardly sighed in relief to see that he was safe still. She yelled out in pain as she was hit again by Starscream who laughed at her,

"You poor creature, you don't know when to quit,"

Mazikeen smirked behind her mask,

"Oh, I am your worst nightmare scream,"

She immediately took out her next weapon, her pride and joy, and ignited it. Starscream laughed at the glow,

"What are you going to do with your little light?"

Mazikeen smirked and immediately flew right by him, cutting his hand off,

"THAT BITCH!"

Mazikeen laughed as she flew away with her own lightsaber as Starscream chased after her in pure rage. It took a few minutes but Mazikeen lost Starscream in the dust and rubble of the houses. She then got a sick feeling in her gut as she looked for her little brother again, only to see him running towards Optimus Prime and Megatron, with Rover running after him. Mazikeen immediately pushed her all into getting to her little brother,

"SAMMY!"

Sam momentarily froze with his grip on the cube lessened as he looked for his older sister,

"Maze?"

Mazikeen flew right by him and snatched the cube from him, it was as if time stopped as they locked eyes briefly,

"I love you, Sammy. Goodbye,"

Sam screamed her name as she flew right to Megatron, slamming the cube to his chest as a small explosion happened when she did. Everyone flew back in the after wave and Sam scrambled to his feet and Rover jumped onto his shoulder as he ran to where Mazikeen made a crater. 

"MAZIKEEN!!!!!"

Everyone looked at the two siblings. William, Fig, and Robert ran over as soon as they recognized the small suit of armor. Sam immediately knelt by her shoulder,

"Maze?"

The helmet opened up to reveal the face of his older sister, her eyes were closed. Sam shook his head,

"No no no no no no,"

Will immediately grabbed Sam and wrapped his arms around the boy as he screamed out for his sister,

"WAKE UP MAZE!"

Epps sighed and looked at his fallen comrade,

"Sam,"

Sam looked at Epps and shook his head,

"She's gonna be okay right? She's survived worse, right?"

Lennox sighed and shared a look with Epps,

"Sam...your sister-"

"No. She just needs a little break, she always has overworked herself,"

Lennox let go of the boy as tears fell down Sam's face,

"You know my sister, she's too stubborn to die,"

Epps chuckled,

"That kid, we know,"

Lennox put a hand on Sam's shoulder,

"But Sam...you have to let her go,"

Sam shook his head,

"What? No! How could you say that!"

Lennox sighed and took another glance at the girl,

"Sam. Mazikeen would want you to let her go. Trust me, kid,"

Sam shook his head,

"NO!"

Rover put a hand on his, 

"Sam, your sister loves you-"

Sam looked at the small robot and shook his head, 

"Rover, you don't understand,"

Rover looked down at his creator and looked back at Sam,

"Yes, I do. I felt empty when we thought she died. I feel pain right now but you need a friend,"

"But-"

"No buts."

Mikaela then ran up to him and hugged Sam,

"Sam, I know you love her. But it's time,"

The Autobots and everyone else could do nothing as they watched the young teenager cry for his older sister,

"ITS NOT FAIR! I JUST GOT HER BACK!"

Then there was a bright light by their side and everyone covered their eyes and the second they looked back in confusion, Mazikeen was no longer there. Sam screamed and collapsed to the ground as he felt everything around him collapse with him. His older sister, there was nothing anymore. No dead body to bury, nothing. Optimus Prime knelt down in front of the grieving brother, 

"Samuel Witwicky?"

Sam looked up at him, 

"What?"

Optimus Prime frowned at his tears, 

"Your sister gave her life to save everyones, with that, I owe you my life. Thank you for helping us,"

Sam felt Rover climb back up his shoulder,

"You already owed your life to Sam. He is the one that got you to the cube. So you owe him twice your life,"

Sam looked at Rover in shock, 

"Rover!"

Rover glanced at Sam, 

"What? Did I say something wrong?"

Mikaela giggled at the little robot, 

"You did not, Rover, you spoke the truth,"

Rover glanced at Sam and Mikaela before turning to Optimus, 

"You owe your life to Mazikeen. She is no longer here, she is visiting her grandparents as Sam explained last time she died. But the one person she cares about most is Samuel Witwicky. She created me to protect him and to be his friend. I did not know anything when I opened my optics but the past five years that I have lived. Sam is the most honest boy I know, he cares about other people and he puts up with a lot of crazy things at his household. He just lost his older sister again, so give us a break. But you have to also help me protect Sam and his new friend, Mikaela because Sam cares about her a lot."

Sam and Mikaela looked at the tiny robot in shock and Optimus smiled at him and nodded, 

"You speak well for your age, and rest assured we will protect Sam and Mikaela,"

Rover nodded and nudged Sam's face, 

"You are welcome, Sam,"

Sam sighed, 

"Where can I turn off your sarcasm,"

Rover poked his nose,

"You can not, only Mazikeen can change my thoughts, and she would never change me for I am her favorite,"

Mikaela smirked and nudged Sam, 

"You are competing for Mazikeen's favorite with your best friend, how do you feel?"

Sam sighed, 

"It sucks,"

Will clapped him on the shoulder, 

"Mynx does love her inventions,"

Epps sighed dramatically, 

"The amount of times we had to extinguish an explosion in her tent,"

Fig winced, 

"I almost got my eyebrows burnt off,"

Bumblebee looked at Optimus, 

"Permission to speak?"

Optimus smiled at him, 

"Permission granted, old friend,"

Everyone looked at the yellow autobot in surprise as he used his actual voice box, 

"I wish to stay with the boy,"

Optimus smiled at the pure joy radiating off of Sam, Rover, and Mikaela at the news, 

"That sounds like a good idea,"

Will smiled softly and walked up to Sam, 

"Sam?"

Sam looked at Will, 

"Yeah?"

Will smiled and handed him one more contraption from the bag Mazikeen gave him, 

"What is this?"

Will sighed and looked at Epps and Fig, 

"Mazikeen was not sure how our fights were going to finish or end, we ourselves did not completely know...she worked on these disks for a few months when we started working together in our squad. We each made our own recordings. Mazikeen managed to figure out how to do holo-diaries, where she would record our actions and the words we say on a small disk, and when you press the button, it was as if you were watching a video, but it's more real."

Sam gasped and looked at the disk, 

"You mean,"

Epps smiled sadly at him, 

"Yeah...her famous last words,"

Sam started tearing up and hugged the three soldiers, 

"Thank you...thank you for watching out for my older sister,"

Fig smiled softly, 

"She was our sister too, and always will be."

"Yeah, she is a part of us,"

"And will always be,"
