Mazikeen sighed in relief as she laid down on top of Jazz's alt-mode,

"You having fun up there, lil M?"

Mazikeen nodded and looked up, 

"Yeah, this is nice. I mean, it's a little weird back at base. We are moving everything now. Then we got Dino, and then with Aura's ex-boyfriend coming back...it's all a little much." 

She felt Jazz appear next to her and tilted her head to see his holo-form lying down next to her, 

"Yeah...it has been fast...how are you feeling though?"

Mazikeen sighed, 

"I know Aura is pregnant,"

Jazz's eyes widened, 

"How?"

Mazikeen laughed, 

"As much as I love you guys, none of you are subtle. I figured it out the third day she was here. I know my best friend. Just like I know how Eddie has been fighting with himself for a year on whether he should stay or go. I told him to go back to his son and his friends. Epps needed something more calm for a minute, so I told him about the Air Force needing more recruits. As much as I don't want my friends to leave, I know that it was in their best interest...which is why I let my cousin and Sophie come. I had a feeling that they both needed to come, and I was right."

"Why?"

Mazikeen looked over at him and smiled sadly, 

"Because...if you truly love someone, then you have to learn how to let them go. If I didn't learn that early on...I would have never survived in the army...I would have never survived all the loss,"

Jazz sighed and softly wrapped an arm around her shoulder as she leaned into his chest,

"You are the most selfless femme I have ever met."

Mazikeen chuckled and looked up at him, 

"And your favorite,"

Jazz chuckled and smiled at her, 

"You are,"

Mazikeen smiled and looked back at the sky. She felt Jazz shift a little bit under her and looked at him again, 

"You okay?"

"Yeah, I'm okay,"

Mazikeen nodded and chuckled, 

"Did you hear that Bluestreak yelled at Vincent?"

"He did?!"

"Yep! Vincent immediately told me after, and I told him that I would have a talk with Bluestreak,"

"And did you?"

Mazikeen laughed and nodded, 

"Yep! I gave him a fist bump and told him to just never do it again unless Aura was in danger,"

Jazz laughed, 

"Those two are something else,"

Mazikeen smiled softly and nodded, 

"Yeah, Oh and don't forget the fun Dino has in training,"

Jazz burst into a fit of laughter. 

"Oh, Primus, you can see the flint in his optics as he charges at them,"

Mazikeen laughed and nodded, 

"Yeah! He also enjoys going after Angel a lot too,"

Jazz smirked, 

"I think she likes it,"

Mazikeen glanced at him, 

"Why say that?"

"Oh, come on lil M, we all know how angry Angel can get, and she never once tried to offline Mirage, only Mudflap and Skids,"

Mazikeen winced at the memory, 

"Those terrible twos sure almost got offlined that one time,"

"You should have never given her your lightsaber to try out,"

Mazikeen shrugged, 

"She said that she would be on watch duty for a month if I let her,"

Jazz laughed and got off his alt-mode, 

"Come on, let's go on a drive,"

"Ooh, fancy,"

Jazz chuckled, and she immediately got in, 

"Where to?"

"Anywhere you want,"

Mazikeen glanced at him, 

"What's the special occasion?"

"Well...it's been a while since it was just the two of us, so why not?"

Mazikeen smiled and patted his dashboard, 

"Just drive and put on some music!"

Jazz laughed and immediately took off after sending a quick message to Tex saying he was taking Mazikeen out for a drive. Mazikeen laid back in the seat and started randomly tracing symbols on the seat, and Jazz felt himself shiver at her touch, 

"Hey, you good?"

"Y-yeah, got a small shiver. It's all good,"

Mazikeen slowly nodded, 

"Okayyyy, if you say so. But I will drag your ass to Ratch if you don't feel better by the time we get back,"

Jazz chuckled, and his holo-form appeared in the driver seat as he smirked at her, 

"Don't worry, lil M, I'm a pro,"

Mazikeen laughed and nodded slowly, 

"Sure you are,"

They listened to music as he kept driving. Mazikeen hummed softly to the beat as she closed her eyes to soak in the moment. She felt her heart tug at her again but knew her brothers and son were okay,

"Hey! I just remembered something!"

Jazz glanced at her, 

"What?"

Mazikeen looked at him, 

"Are you still getting those tugs at your spark?"

Jazz glanced away from her, 

"Yeah,"

Mazikeen groaned, 

"Damn, and after all these years, I thought you would have learned to listen to it,"

Jazz swatted at her shoulder, 

"Hey! Well, why did you bring it up?"

Mazikeen blushed and looked away from him, 

"Oh, no reason,"

Jazz immediately stopped and parked at the side of the road, 

"Hey! Tell meeee,"

Mazikeen rolled her eyes and looked at him in the eyes, 

"Okay okay, I just got a pull at my heart...that's why,"

Jazz's head tilted to the side, 

"Is everyone okay?"

Mazikeen nodded, 

"Yeah, Tex, Sun, and Sides are all okay, which was also my first thought too...but yeah this has me stumped too,"

Jazz shrugged, 

"Well, do you know what your heart could possibly yearn for?"

Mazikeen raised her hand to her chin as she thought hard, 

"No?"

"That was a very questionable no,"

Mazikeen shrugged, 

"Well, I might like someone...but I don't even know if I do or not,"

Jazz felt the almost familiar feeling in his spark, but he pushed it away, 

"Lil M, you shouldn't push anyone away,"

Mazikeen looked at him and sighed,

"I know...but sometimes it's not the right time,"

"What do you mean right time?"

"Well...we are in a war right now with the Decepticons...we haven't heard from Megatron in a while, haven't heard from him since Egypt actually...which is very concerning. I also don't think this one person would ever like me as much as I do them,"

Jazz frowned, 

"Hey, anyone would be LUCKY to have you like them. I get it, we are at war, but that doesn't stop love. Hide and Chromia are sparkmates,"

Mazikeen frowned, 

"What are sparkmates?"

Jazz frowned, 

"No one told you?"

Mazikeen shook her head, and Jazz blushed slightly but chuckled, 

"Well, a sparkmate is our version of a...um...marriage? But only deeper, you see, we don't have what you humans call a divorce. If we love someone, we stay with that mech or femme for our entire life, even after their death,"

Mazikeen frowned,

"So, a soulmate?"

Jazz tilted his head as he stared at her, 

"What's a soulmate?"

"It's uh... Well, it's like a best friend, but more. It's the one person in the world that knows you better than anyone else. It's someone who makes you a better person. Actually, they don't make you a better person, you do that yourself - because they inspire you. A soulmate is someone who you can carry with you forever. It's the one person who knew you and accepted you and believed in you before anyone else did, or when no one else would. And no matter what happens, you will always love them. Nothing can ever change that."

Jazz felt his spark tug at him at her words but pushed down the feelings,

"Yeah...a soulmate,"

Mazikeen smiled and leaned back in her seat with a peaceful look on her face, 

"Well, it appears that we have found our soulmate. We just need to figure out who it is,"

Jazz sighed and looked at her with his bright blue eyes, 

"Yeah...we just have to find them,"

𝐖𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐑𝐨𝐬𝐚𝐥𝐲𝐧

"I FUCKING SWEAR TO THE SKY!!!! IF YOU HIT ME ONE MORE FUCKING TIME, I WILL OFFLINE YOU BOTH SUNSTREAKER AND SIDESWIPE!"

Sunstreaker smirked and crossed his arms, 

"And how do you suppose you do that?"

Rosalyn glared at the two and pointed her paintball sniper at him, 

"I WILL GET YOU!"

Sideswipe laughed, 

"No, you won't. We are too fast,"

Rosalyn glared at him and was about to stalk up to him, but Alexandra immediately interfered,

"Sophie!"

Rosalyn just glared at them and pointed, 

"You are both fucking LUCKY that I can't climb,"

Sideswipe smirked, 

"I would love to see you try,"

Alexandra sighed and shot the twins a look, 

"Hey! Aren't you two supposed to be doing something?"

Sunstreaker shrugged, 

"Not really,"

Rosalyn smirked, 

"So where is Tex?"

The two immediately looked at each other in horror, 

"LENNOX!"

They sped away, and Alexandra laughed with Rosalyn. Alexandra nudged Rosalyn, 

"You have some paint on you,"

Rosalyn grumbled as she wiped her face, 

"Fucking dicks,"

Alexandra laughed, 

"You like them,"

Rosalyn glared at her, 

"No, fucking pests they are,"

"Better than Mudflap and Skids,"

Rosalyn sighed, 

"Okay, yes. But what about you and the boss bot?"

Alexandra frowned, 

"What do you mean?"

Rosalyn cackled, 

"You don't see how cute it is that he's been teaching you about their ways?"

Alexandra crossed her arms, 

"He offered because Maze was talking to him about it,"

Rosalyn laughed, 

"Sure sure,"

Alexandra shoved her, 

"Shut up, at least HE doesn't shoot me with paintball guns,"

Rosalyn groaned, 

"I need to get them,"

"Just ask Jolt and Ratchet, they would definitely be down to prank them back. Or Maze, she is always down for pranking one of the Autobots,"

"I would ask your cousin, but she tends to make it over the top,"

Alexandra winced, 

"Yeah, she does. But that's her personality,"

Rosalyn laughed, 

"That's true, and I love her for it,"

Alexandra laughed and nodded, 

"Yep, she's my favorite cousin,"

"And Sam?"

"He's not as cool,"

The two laughed as they left.

Hey, wonderful people! It is finally time for the third movie! Lots of scrap will go down in the third movie, relationships pop up. Angst, cuz who the frag doesn't love angst? But not to worry! The next chapter does not leave in a huuuge cliffhanger, I have it almost complete as I publish this one :)
