Eddie grumbled as he sat down on Mazikeen's floor, 

"There is no way in hell that you beat us again!"

Mazikeen laughed and winked at him, 

"You guys just gotta get better!"

Will glared at his cards, 

"You can not possibly win uno every single time,"

Fig threw his deck down on the floor, 

"I quit!"

Mazikeen laughed, 

"Oh, come on Figgle,"

Epps nodded, 

"Yeah, no, I fold too,"

Mazikeen laughed, 

"Sore losers,"

Will slapped her shoulder, 

"Hey! I'm the colonel. I hold rank,"

Mazikeen shrugged, 

"I am the commander, I hold second,"

Will chuckled and rolled his eyes, 

"Well, that's one thing down,"

Eddie smiled, and took out his wallet, 

"Want to see the newest picture of Chris I have?"

Mazikeen immediately nodded, 

"Fuck yeah, I do,"

Eddie chuckled and handed her the picture of him with Chris and Buck. Mazikeen's eyes brightened, 

"Awe, is this your boyfriend?"

Eddie blushed and immediately grabbed the photo, 

"No!"

Mazikeen glanced over at the three others smirking back at her, 

"You suuure,"

Eddie groaned and lay down, 

"Fine. Yes, I do like him a lot...but I don't know if he likes me back,"

Mazikeen glared at him, 

"Eddie. He is head over heels for you! He kept giving you puppy eyes when I visited-"

Mazikeen's eyes widened, 

"Holy shit! I remember visiting you!"

Eddie laughed, 

"Only because I told you I liked someone, damn that was easy,"

Mazikeen immediately threw a card at him, and he laughed. Will smiled, 

"Well, that's one good thing...anything else?"

Mazikeen sighed, 

"Everything is still foggy...But, um...was Jazz special to me?"

The four groaned dramatically, and Mazikeen blushed, 

"What??"

Eddie glared at her, 

"You two are fucking hopeless! But, he is your guardian now,"

Mazikeen tilted her head, 

"Why do I have a guardian if I live on base?"

Will rolled his eyes, 

"Because you are very known to get into trouble,"

Mazikeen shrugged, 

"You are surprised?"

Fig threw a card at her, 

"No. We are not,"

Epps nodded, 

"We would be more surprised if you didn't get into any trouble,"

Will nodded, 

"The second Fig retired, we had to call him back. As soon as Eddie and Epps retired from the army, we sent Barricade and Bluestreak to get them back with Aura,"

Mazikeen tilted her head, 

"Who is Bluestreak?"

Eddie laughed, 

"Aura's boyfriend,"

Mazikeen's eyes brightened, 

"Oh my sky! We gotta go see him!"

Will immediately shook his head, 

"Nope, you are not threatening that poor Cybertronian again,"

Mazikeen pouted, 

"What the fuck?"

Fig nodded, 

"Yep, no, you are not."

Epps nodded, 

"Poor guy had to have Smokescreen around him for a week so he wouldn't get scared,"

Mazikeen tilted her head, 

"Smokescreen?"

Eddie nodded, 

"Yep, good dude if I say,"

Mazikeen slowly nodded, 

"Okay, who else?"

"Well, Prowl is Barricade's brother, but they aren't really on good terms anymore,"

Mazikeen frowned, 

"Why not?"

Epps shrugged, 

"We don't do all that stuff. We only know to stay clear for if they argue or try to prank each other,"

Will sighed, 

"Kaitlyn got swamped with the injured from that one glitter bomb,"

Mazikeen's eyes widened, 

"Amy is here?"

Epps nodded, 

"Yeah, she is...we would take you to her...but that's too much in one day,"

Mazikeen frowned, 

"Why?"

Eddie patted her shoulder, 

"Maze...The memory of Javier is still fresh in your mind, is it not?"

Mazikeen winced, 

"So...he really is gone."

Will nodded and hugged her, 

"He is...but she was able to move on,"

Mazikeen's eyes widened, 

"Really?"

Fig laughed and nodded,

"Yep! She is completely head-over-heels for this Autobot called Jolt. They haven't confessed yet...but we are hoping soon,"

Mazikeen smirked, 

"Do we have a bet going on them?"

The four shared a look and burst out laughing. Mazikeen frowned, 

"What?!"

Will shook his head, 

"Oh, you wouldn't understand,"

Mazikeen glared at them, 

"Cuz of my memory loss?"

Epps laughed, 

"No, which is what makes it even funnier."

Mazikeen crossed her arms and pouted, 

"Fucking bullies,"

Fig laughed, 

"You love us,"

Mazikeen rolled her eyes, 

"Whatever...what else can I know?"

She watched them as they shared looks and sighed, 

"Alright, alright...I won't ask,"

Will sighed and put a hand on her shoulder, 

"I'm sorry, Mynx...I really am...we all are,"

Mazikeen nodded, 

"I know...can I...can I go on a walk?"

Eddie nodded, 

"Yeah, come on,"

Mazikeen rolled her eyes, 

"I meant alone,"

Eddie smirked, 

"I know. But, they can clean up while we go on our walk,"

Mazikeen laughed and nodded, 

"Alright,"

Epps glared at Eddie, 

"We will get you back, Diaz,"

Eddie winked at him, 

"I'm sure,"

Eddie grabbed Mazikeen's hand and dragged her out. Eddie sighed, 

"Free at last,"

Mazikeen looked at him, 

"What do you mean?"

Eddie smiled at her, 

"Come on, Maz, it's nicer to talk when it's just the two of us. No matter the distance,"

Mazikeen chuckled and looked at him, 

"So, I want to know more about this Buck guy,"

Eddie shoved her as she laughed, 

"He's been a huge help to Chris...and Chris really adores him, and he looks up to Buck. But don't even think for a second that Chris doesn't always ask about you when he knows I'm talking to one of you guys...I had to come back a couple of times, and every time I leave, I have Buck watch over him now. I...I almost died again a few months ago, and I realized how much I love and trust Buck...I made him the guardian of Chris if anything happens to me,"

Mazikeen's eyes widened, 

"Eddie, I'm sorry I wasn't there for you...and if I was good,"

Eddie laughed and hugged her side, 

"You were. You flew out as soon as you got the message from Bobby. Well, you actually drove with Jazz, but same thing,"

Mazikeen nodded, 

"Did I change?"

Eddie glanced at her, 

"What do you mean?"

Mazikeen frowned, 

"I feel different...I don't know how to describe it...but it's as if sometimes my emotions aren't my own...but at the same time, it's as if something is blocking me,"

Eddie sighed, 

"I don't know how to explain any of that stuff. I barely understood it when you tried explaining it to me. But I will tell you this, You love the Autobots. You care about them and have been protecting them for a long time, just as any of us in NEST. You became their Liaison as soon as the president declared that they would need one. You are special, Maz, and I'm not just saying that as your ex-boyfriend. But you were always special to all of us."

Mazikeen sighed, 

"But how could I be chosen?"

"Maz. Everyone opened their fucking eyes and saw how strong you are. They finally recognized it, and you got what you have deserved since day one,"

Mazikeen looked at him, 

"D-Did...Did I finally fix things with my mom?"

Eddie sighed and winced, 

"A little bit. She's getting better slowly...but you guys still argue,"

Mazikeen sighed, 

"I guess I'll take what I can get,"

Eddie put a hand on her shoulder, 

"Hey, look around you, Maz...you got a new family,"

Mazikeen glanced around and smiled at him, 

"Yeah...I guess I did...but...I don't remember them,"

Eddie smiled and nudged her, 

"You will, I have faith,"

Mazikeen chuckled,

"You always did,"

Eddie smiled, 

"I always will,"

Mazikeen felt a pull at her heart and tilted her head in confusion, 

"Hey, I have to do something really quick. Can you cover me?"

Eddie raised his eyebrow at her, 

"And what is that something?"

Mazikeen shrugged and smirked at him, 

"Follow my heart,"
