A bright light shone inside the house right next to Annabel Lennox,

"Woah,"

She smiled largely at the light, 

"Aunt Mynx!"

She laughed as she saw Mazikeen appear on the couch in front of her. 

The young kid immediately hugged her as she groaned, 

"Huh?"

Mazikeen opened her eyes and spotted the blonde toddler hugging her, 

"Oh, hello,"

Annabel smiled largely, 

"Aunt Mynx!"

Mazikeen's eyes widened briefly before her smile widened, 

"Hi, lil Annie! You got so big!"

Annabel laughed, 

"I know I did! Daddy says the same thing every time I see him,"

Mazikeen smiled softly and ruffled her hair, 

"Can you get mommy for me?"

Annabel nodded, 

"Yeah! I will right now!"

Mazikeen held her head as she slowly sat up, 

"My fricken head,"

She rubbed her eyes as she heard a gasp and looked over to see Sarah Lennox staring at her as if she had seen a ghost. Mazikeen smirked at her, 

"Well, you sure look fantastic,"

Sarah laughed and hugged her carefully, 

"What hurts?"

"Just my head...hey...how long was I out?"

Sarah frowned, 

"What is the last thing you remember before passing out?"

Mazikeen rubbed her head and looked up at Sarah before standing slowly, 

"Well....um,"

She tilted her head as she tried to collect her fuzzy memory. Then her eyes widened,

"SAMMY!"

Sarah immediately put a hand on her shoulder, 

"Maze, Maze, calm down and tell me what happened,"

"Qatar...we were attacked by this scorpion robot thing! We ran away and escaped, then these agents of this hidden operation got us, and we went to Hoover Dam, then I saw my little brother, and we fought these biiiig alien machine things. Then...then...I think I killed the biggest one with this weird glowy cube, but...I don't know what happened to Sam...is he okay? Is my baby brother alright? Have you seen him? How about Will, Epps, and Fig?"

Sarah's eyes widened in complete shock, 

"Maze...is that the last thing you remember?"

Mazikeen frowned and slowly nodded, 

"Y-Yeah...Sarah? What's going on?"

Sarah shook her head, 

"Okay, I need you to breathe for me, okay?"

Mazikeen slowly nodded and did a few breathing exercises, 

"Alright, now tell me what happened,"

Sarah sighed, 

"Why don't you let Annie show you around the place a little before we talk? Relax. You just came back from a war,"

Mazikeen sighed but was quickly dragged by the five-year-old,

"Alright, Lil Annie, show me the place,"

"You have to see my room! It got so much bigger!"

Mazikeen smiled softly and nodded, 

"I believe you,"

Sarah sighed as she watched them leave to head upstairs before she immediately got on her phone and called Will, 

"Hey, Babe, what's wrong? We just got off the phone,"

"Will, something bad happened,"

"What? What is it? Is it Annie?"

Sarah felt her heart clench as she thought about what to say, 

"No, it's Maze,"

"Sarah? What happened? I'm coming with Ironhide right now,"

"Will...Maze...Maze appeared in the house, on our couch right in front of Annie...she...the last thing she remembers is Mission City...She lost her memory,"

She heard a screech on the other side and winced, 

"Sarah, what do you mean she lost her memory?"

"I asked her what the last thing she remembered is, and she told me about what happened in Mission City, almost exactly like how she did those years ago,"

"I'm going to ask Ratchet about this. I'm still coming with Ironhide. Will you be alright?"

"Yes, I'm trying my best,"

"I know you are. I'll be there soon, okay?"

"Okay,"

Sarah hung up the phone and looked back to where Mazikeen and Annabel had gone,

"I'm sorry, Mynx...but nothing ever worth it is ever easy,"

𝐖𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐝𝐞

Barricade stood up abruptly, and Prowl looked at him in confusion, 

"What is it?"

"Mazikeen. She needs help,"

Prowl frowned, 

"Ratchet is with her, she's fine,"

Barricade shook his head, 

"No, she's not with them anymore,"

Prowl nodded and put a servo on his shoulder, 

"Be careful,"

Barricade nodded his head, 

"I will,"

Barricade left the room and immediately transformed and drove to where everyone was sitting outside the Medical Bay, 

"Aura, get in,"

Athena frowned in confusion, 

"Why? What's going on?"

Barricade sighed, 

"I'll explain on the way. You too, Eddie,"

Eddie frowned but nodded, 

"Alright?"

Athena gave her twins to Bluestreak and smiled at him, 

"You take care of the kids until we return, okay?"

Bluestreak nodded and looked at Barricade, 

"You hurt her. I will offline you,"

"I know, let's go,"

As soon as Eddie and Athena climbed in, Barricade took off speeding through the base until they left it, where he went faster, 

"Barricade! Why are you going so fast??"

"Squishy is no longer here. She is awake and confused,"

Eddie frowned, 

"How can you tell?"

"I can sense it. For the first time since she has been back from the other Universe, I know where she is. It is as if something in her is telling me to find her."

Athena nodded, 

"Then go faster,"

Her phone beeped, and she frowned in confusion when she saw Will trying to call her, 

"Hey, Will,"

"Aura, listen. I know you just left base with Eddie and Barricade. I need you three to meet Ironhide and me at my house. Mynx is there, and she lost her memory. Jazz and Bumblebee will meet us there, too. They just picked up Sam and Mikaela. They will get there before you three, so just be prepared for anything."

Athena gasped, 

"What?"

"Yeah. Sarah just told me. I don't know how she lost her memories, but all she remembers is the first time we met the Autobots all the way back in Mission City."

Eddie frowned, 

"We don't know what getting her powers back would do...maybe this is a side effect,"

"That's what Ratchet said. Sunstreaker and Sideswipe also ran out with Tex as soon as they heard me say that, so if they catch up to you, try calming them down,"

"Okay, we will see you soon,"

Athena hung up the phone and sighed, 

"What are we going to do?"

Eddie sighed, 

"Try to help her cope with everything,"

Athena sighed and looked out the window, 

"She can't see Alexa...She can't see anyone she doesn't know...that would kill her,"

Eddie nodded and sighed, 

"Yeah...I know,"

Barricade grumbled, 

"What about me?"

They turned to see his holo-form appear in the back and shrugged, 

"I think you're going to have to wait a little...sorry, Barricade,"

Barricade sighed and crossed his arms, 

"Fine,"

Then a bright light appeared, and the two screamed as Barricade straightened out and he screeched to a halt, 

"Oh my sky!"

They looked around, and Eddie got out with Athena. Barricade transformed and frowned, 

"We are...here?"

Athena nodded slowly, 

"It appears so,"

Barricade shrugged, 

"I am not going to question anything...but I'm going to stay out here until I can come in,"

Athena smiled and patted his servo, 

"We are going to wish for the best,"

Eddie nodded, 

"Yeah, and pray,"

They heard a shout and saw Will running over to them with a confused expression on his face, 

"How did you guys get here so quickly?"

Barricade shrugged, 

"Traffic violations,"

"We teleported,"

"We are just that cool,"

Will sighed and shook his head at the three, 

"Alright, Barricade, you stay over by Ironhide. You two come with me. We are going to catch up with Mynx and Sarah. I just put Annabel in her room with some toys so we can talk it over,"

Athena nodded, 

"Okay, let's go,"

They walked in, and immediately Mazikeen looked over and locked eyes with Athena, 

"Aura!"

She ran over to her and tackled her in a hug as Athena laughed and hugged her just as tight, 

"Hey, May,"

Mazikeen felt tears well up in her eyes, 

"I am so sorry! I was about to go see you as soon as Sarah told me I was good to go. I swear! I know you probably heard I died from Sammy or Rover or my parents, and I am so sorry that I didn't try reaching out to you. But a lot of crazy shit has been going on, and I wanted to tell you I promise I did, but I haven't had any time to get to a phone or anything since I woke up. Are you okay? Are you hurt?"

Athena felt her heart break as she smiled softly at her best friend, 

"May, take a breath,"

Mazikeen rolled her eyes, 

"That's all anyone's been saying since I woke up,"

Athena laughed and patted her shoulder, 

"You have been spazzing out just as much as Sam usually does,"

Mazikeen rolled her eyes but looked at her, 

"Is he alright? Have you seen him? Is that why you are here?"

Athena chuckled, 

"Sam is alright. He's on his way right now. I came because I heard you were here,"

Mazikeen frowned and narrowed her eyes at her, 

"You are different. Why is everyone different? How long have I been asleep?"

Eddie finally came out from behind Will, 

"You weren't asleep that long,"

Mazikeen's eyes brightened, 

"Eddie!"

She immediately hugged him, and Eddie laughed, 

"Hey, Maz,"

Mazikeen narrowed her eyes and took a step back as she glared at the four, 

"What the fuck is going on?"

They all shared a concerned look but stopped as soon as Sam burst through the doors, 

"MAZE!"

Mazikeen's expression softened, and she smiled, 

"SAMMY!"

They hugged, and Mazikeen refused to let go of him. He chuckled as he patted her back, 

"Maze, you can let go,"

"Nope. I almost lost you. You...you almost got killed by that Megatron dude,"

Sam sighed and patted his sister's shoulder, 

"Come on, look at me,"

Mazikeen sighed but let go and examined her brother, 

"You got older,"

Sam laughed, 

"Yeah, I did,"

Mazikeen frowned,

"I was...How long was I out?"

Mikaela walked in with Rover on her shoulder, 

"Not long,"

Mazikeen smiled at her, 

"Nice to see you okay too, Mikaela. Are you Sammy's girlfriend now?"

Mikaela smirked and held out her hand, 

"Yep! I try keeping him in line,"

Sam rolled his eyes, 

"Please, it's not that hard,"

Mikaela glanced at him, 

"That's true, I have Rover to help me,"

Mazikeen chuckled and looked at Rover, 

"Rover, how long was I out?"

Rover shrugged, 

"A day or two?"

Everyone's eyes widened at the small Droid as Mazikeen frowned in confusion, 

"But that doesn't make any sense. Everyone looks so much older,"

Eddie playfully glared at her, 

"Hey, who you calling old?"

Mazikeen rolled her eyes and shrugged, 

"Not my fault, oldy,"

Will sighed, 

"Okay, children, behave,"

Mazikeen looked at Will, 

"Will, please tell me what's going on,"

Will sighed, 

"Alright...Mynx...it has been five years since Mission City,"

Mazikeen gasped and took a step back, 

"W-What?"

Sarah nodded, 

"That's why everything looks different,"

Mazikeen frowned, 

"I was in a coma for five years?"

Athena shook her head, 

"No...you were with us all in those five years, we fought together, we survived together...you lost your memories,"

Mazikeen's eyes widened in shock, 

"I...I lost my memories?"

Eddie nodded, 

"Yes. After Mission City, you were given these powers...and a few days ago, you lost those powers...We got them back for you by giving you that necklace you are wearing right now...but...you lost all your memories from when you first got the powers to now,"

Mazikeen stared at the necklace on her neck that she just now realized she was wearing, 

"I...I lost five years of my life?"

Sam nodded slowly, 

"Y-Yeah,"

Mazikeen looked at him, 

"And your life,"

Sam shook his head, 

"No, I'm okay, Maze. Everything is alright,"

Mazikeen shook her head, 

"I...I forgot everything,"

Mazikeen touched her necklace, and then a light flashed next to her, and Barricade's holo-form grabbed her hand and pulled it away from the necklace, 

"Don't take it off."

Mazikeen's eyes widened at the new person, but she felt something in her stir at his presence, 

"Who are you?"

Barricade felt his spark drop at the question but pushed away the thoughts, 

"I'm Barricade. Taking off that necklace won't solve anything,"

Mazikeen looked at him in the eyes, 

"You are different from the other Bots, aren't you,"

Barricade smirked and nodded, 

"Yes, I am,"

"How are you a human?"

"It's called a holo-form. We are Cybertronians from the planet Cybertron. A feud between Autobots and Decepticons destroyed our planet. You helped us stop the war,"

Mazikeen frowned in confusion, 

"How?"

"Well, what faction do you believe I belong to?"

Mazikeen glanced over at him but looked back at his silver eyes, 

"You are neutral. But, you are special."

Barricade smirked, 

"You convinced me to leave the Decepticons, to leave the bad guys-"

"Did we love each other?"

Barricade shrugged, 

"You are my best friend, Maze. In another life, maybe we could have been. But, right here...right now, you are my....what is the word? Twin flame, I guess. I know you just as you know me. Look inside yourself, Maze, I know you can do this,"

Everyone took a step back, and Athena glanced at Will as she whispered, 

"Why didn't we just let Barricade do the talking before,"

Will rolled his eyes, 

"I was trying to prevent Jazz from finding out and blowing up on himself,"

Eddie winced, 

"Damn it...there goes any hope for Jazzikeen...he's gonna go all ape shit on us, all jealous bot again,"

Mazikeen stared at Barricade, 

"I don't understand what's going on,"

Barricade smiled softly at her and put his hand on her shoulder, 

"You will in time. Might take a second to get used to the change,"

Mazikeen sighed, 

"But...how did I lose my supposed powers?"

Barricade winced, 

"Oh, by fighting...well...I guess he would be your version of Lucifer. You fought the Devil and used your powers to offline him,"

Mazikeen's eyes widened in shock, 

"I killed the devil?"

Barricade nodded, 

"Yep, you offlined his spark,"

Mazikeen slowly nodded, 

"So, I destroyed the Devil's heart...Then, by doing so, I lost these magical powers and died. But I was resurrected by two people who gave me this necklace,"

Barricade smiled at the small memories she was gaining and nodded, 

"Yep, basically."

Mazikeen looked at Will, 

"I am motherfucking Jesus!"

Will groaned, 

"Oh, come on,"

Barricade tilted his head, 

"Jesus?"

Mazikeen nodded her head in excitement, 

"Yeah! Jesus is the son of God, he was crucified at a stick because the Romans got jealous over his power. He was resurrected from the dead, and boom! Story,"

Barricade slowly nodded and looked at Will and Sarah, 

"I am still confused,"

Athena laughed and hugged Mazikeen, 

"Our very own female Jesus,"

Mazikeen nodded proudly, 

"Fuck yeah, bow down, peasants,"

Barricade crossed his arms in amusement, 

"I don't bow down to anyone,"

Mazikeen pointed a finger at him, 

"As my so-called best friend, you have to listen to me and go along with my delusions,"

Athena laughed, 

"I support,"

Mazikeen pointed to her, 

"See? Aura is delusional with me,"

Sam sighed, 

"Can I just introduce you to Bumblebee again? Him and Jazz are extremely worried,"

Mazikeen tilted her head, 

"Who is Jazz? I remember you bought Bumblebee, which I still gotta talk to you about, but who is Jazz?"

Everyone winced at the question. Sarah patted her shoulder, 

"Do you remember the Autobot who almost got offlined by Megatron, the one you shot Megatron for?"

Mazikeen's eyes widened in recognition, 

"Ohhhh, yeah! I do!"

Eddie sighed, 

"I am never getting my prize money,"

Will slapped his shoulder as Mazikeen looked at him in confusion, 

"Huh?"

Sarah glared at the two and locked arms with Mazikeen, 

"Ignore those two, let's go outside and greet our guests, Ironhide is also outside too,"

Mazikeen's eyes brightened, 

"Oh! The one with the cannons! Oh my sky, I want to show him more of mine!"

Eddie laughed, 

"Later,"

Mazikeen nodded, 

"Alriiight,"
