Everyone surrounded Mazikeen and Barricade as they finally moved the two away from the building as the battle ended. Will looked at Kaitlyn, 

"Well?"

Kaitlyn sighed, 

"Will, I don't understand what's going on with my scans! Jolt, you can't see anything either?"

Jolt sighed and shook his head, 

"Absolutely nothing! I don't understand,"

Eddie threw a rock to the ground, 

"This is complete bullshit! What is going on?! Someone has to be able to tell us!"

Chromia knelt down next to him, 

"Eddie. I am not sure what is going on with her, I don't think even Prime would know. We should get them back to the base,"

Prowl crossed his arms, 

"We can't take Barricade with us. The humans will try offlining him immediately,"

Then a light flashed in front of them. Barricade jumped up with a low growl, and his optics flashed red, 

"Where is he?!"

Mazikeen groaned, 

"Huh?"

Barricade looked at her, 

"I know what he looks like! I was right there, Squishy, and I only stunned him!"

Mazikeen's eyes widened at his optic color, 

"Cade-"

Barricade shook his head, 

"I can go ba-"

"Yeah, no, no. You are staying right here,"

Prowl frowned in confusion at the rush of anger he felt, 

"Barricade, what is going on?"

Barricade glanced at his twin but immediately looked at the building that held the one person who he wanted to kill, 

"Wh-"

"No. You are not going back in there. Where did you put my favorite stun gun?"

Jazz frowned, 

"You gave him a stun gun?"

Mazikeen nodded, 

"Yeah, if I gave him my twin guns, he woulda killed everyone in there,"

Barricade growled, 

"Only two,"

Mazikeen stared at him, and he sighed, 

"Okay...maybe all of them,"

Mazikeen nodded, 

"Yes, all of them. Now. My stun gun?"

Barricade sighed and turned on his holo-form. Everyone gasped as they saw him appear next to Mazikeen, 

"I may have left it in the room-"

"WhAT?!"

Barricade winced and nodded, 

"Yes. Remember? I turned off my holo-form before he could stab me as well and then caught you,"

Mazikeen sighed, 

"Well, there goes my favorite stun gun,"

Barricade smirked, 

"I can go get it,"

Mazikeen pointed a finger at him, 

"Oh no, you don't. You are not allowed to,"

Arcee smirked, 

"You tell him, Maze,"

Barricade narrowed his optics at Arcee before feeling a nudge in his holo-form and saw the stare Mazikeen was giving him, and he sighed, 

"Fine...I promise...to not kill that human,"

Mazikeen smiled brightly, 

"Good,"

"Only put him in a coma!"

Barricade closed his eyes, and Mazikeen immediately grabbed his arm as they disappeared. 

"Uh...what the fuck?"

Will sighed, 

"I am getting too old for this,"

Everyone jumped when they heard a low growl, and Prowl immediately whacked Jazz in the head, 

"Calm down. They must be close,"

Jazz narrowed his optics, 

"How the frag did that happen?"

Phoenix shrugged, 

"They did not teleport the way Maze has done. It must have been Barricade's doing, unknowingly bringing her along,"

Sunstreaker stared at the building, 

"They must have gone to where he left the stun gun,"

"What could have made him so pissed?"

Mazikeen let go of his arm, and her eyes widened, 

"How the fuck?!"

Barricade looked at her in surprise, 

"How the frag are you here?"

Mazikeen shrugged and looked around at the unconscious soldiers, 

"Huh. I don't know. Let's just find my stun gun,"

Barricade sighed, 

"Fine,"

They looked around, and Barricade stopped when he recognized a soldier lying down. Mazikeen immediately looked over as she felt anger consume her heart.

"Barricade! Stop!"

Barricade looked at her briefly before staring at the human in his hands, 

"He hurt you,"

"I'm fine!"

Barricade narrowed his red eyes at her, 

"You may say that, but I can feel your emotions, Squishy. You are scared,"

Mazikeen walked over to him and put her hand on his shoulder, 

"Cade, you are better than them. Your eyes are red, and I know you are pissed. But let him go,"

"Say that when you look at him,"

Mazikeen shook her head as she stared into his eyes, 

"I can't. But I want to be better than him and everyone that has hurt me in the past. I don't know how the fuck you saw him...but just let him go,"

Barricade sighed, and his eyes flashed back to silver,

"But he hurt you,"

Mazikeen smiled and shrugged, 

"A lot of people have. But just let him go,"

Barricade sighed and dropped him,

"Fine."

Mazikeen chuckled as the body thumped and hugged him, 

"Thanks, Cade,"

"Hey hey, no feeling scrap right now. I'm not used to feeling all this scrap,"

Mazikeen laughed, 

"I know. Just take us back,"

Barricade sighed but closed his eyes as he held her in his arms. They heard gasps and another growl as they opened their eyes again. Mazikeen let go of him slowly and smiled nervously at the Autobots, Eddie, Will, and Kaitlyn, 

"So, who is ready to leave?"

Optimus rolled in and opened his door, 

"Mazikeen. I request that you ride with me. I have something to discuss with you."

Jazz frowned but watched as Mazikeen walked up to him, 

"Sure, is it about finding the weapons?"

"Yes."

Mazikeen nodded and pointed at Barricade, 

"We will talk later, but do not follow us,"

Barricade grunted but nodded, 

"Fine,"

Jazz glared at Barricade, but they all transformed back into their alt-mode. Mazikeen smiled at Eddie, 

"You go home, Phoenix will take you,"

Eddie sighed and hugged her, 

"You be careful, and make sure you see Ratchet about the stab,"

Mazikeen nodded, 

"I will,"

They started driving, and Mazikeen immediately noticed how tense Optimus was, 

"Hey, what happened?"

Optimus turned on his holo-form, and she looked at him, 

"Optimus?"

Optimus sighed and looked at her, 

"Why did you not mention that humans have found Cybertronian technology before we landed on Earth?"

Mazikeen frowned, 

"What?"

Optimus gripped his steering wheel tightly,

"The people in there. They had something they were transporting. That object was part of a ship we thought was lost long ago. It contains intelligence and resources that can help us bring Cybertron back,"

Mazikeen gasped, 

"What?"

"Yes. And you humans have hidden it from us. Is that not breaking the treaty we signed?"

Mazikeen frowned, 

"Optimus...I didn't know,"

"Of course you didn't! You have not been helping us. You have failed to give us the resources we need to help go home,"

"I want to help-"

"No. I thought you did. We all did. But why should I trust you if your species has only been hiding things from us? From each other. You hurt each other and are worse than when our war on Cybertron started. We only have two factions. You are split too far to save."

Mazikeen's eyes widened as she felt a cold rush through her, 

"You...you mean that...don't you,"

"Yes. I do. I thought that we were similar...but to break a treaty to this length? Is more corrupt than I thought you could ever be,"

Mazikeen looked down,

"Not all of us are like that. Prime. I thought we proved ourselves enough for you to know that. I was not told anything like that...and I really hope you know I would have told you if I found out. But. You also did not tell the truth about me. I thought it was to protect me because we were friends...but...was it because you only thought about restoring Cybertron using my powers?"

Optimus sighed and looked at her, 

"Mazikeen-"

"No...I don't want to talk anymore. Just drive,"

"I wished to protect everyone,"

"But...is it really protecting if you let yourself go?"

"What do you mean by that?"

"Optimus, look around you. Your friends will always follow you. You are their leader, but they might also just like it here. I know Cybertron is your home, and I promised you all that I would help you as much as I could. But what if Cybertron is not meant to be restored just yet?"

"Cybertron is where we belong. We will return home,"

"Okay...Prime. Do what you need to do. But don't lose a part of yourself...don't lose your family. Stay true to yourself."
