Mikaela and Sam led the group as they linked arms while Rover stayed on Mazikeen's shoulder. Mazikeen smiled at the two, 

"Awe, they are so adorable, don't you think, Rove?"

Rover nodded, 

"Yes, from what I have googled, they are very adorable,"

Mazikeen laughed,

"You googled it?"

Rover nodded,

"Yes, I may have borrowed Sam's computer a few times,"

Mazikeen smirked, 

"Hm, I have taught you well,"

"Yes, yes you have,"

Mazikeen smiled and poked his chest, 

"Sammy has to make his move,"

"Move?"

Mazikeen nodded, 

"Yep, he hasn't asked her out officially,"

"Oh, so that is a separate thing?"

Mazikeen nodded, 

"Yep,"

Sam looked back at the two, 

"We are almost there!"

Mazikeen smiled,

"You still haven't told me where!"

Mikaela laughed, 

"Just you wait!"

Mazikeen smiled and nodded, 

"Okay, okay,"

They finally stopped when they came up to the beach, Mazikeen gasped as she looked at the waves, 

"Woah,"

Sam and Mikaela laughed, 

"And you did not want to come here,"

Mazikeen shook her head, 

"Yeah, I take it back,"

She immediately stepped on the sand and frowned in disgust, 

"Oh, yeah I definitely hate the sand now,"

Mikaela and Sam frowned. Mikaela grabbed her hand, 

"Why?"

Mazikeen sighed and shook her head, 

"Come on, let's just enjoy this,"

Sam and Mikaela shared a look but immediately dragged the oldest to the water, 

"Go jump in!"

Mazikeen laughed, 

"I think Ratchet would kill me,"

Sam shook his head,

"Salt water is said to be very healing to wounds,"

Mazikeen looked at him, and he raised his hands, 

"Okay, but we are going in!"

Mikaela looked at him, 

"We are?"

Sam smirked and nodded, 

"We are!"

He immediately picked her up and ran into the water. Mikaela shrieked but laughed as soon as she was dumped into the water, 

"SAMUEL!"

Sam laughed as she chased him. Mazikeen smiled softly at the sight and Rover nudged her, 

"You can go in, it is safe. I can rewrap your torso after,"

Mazikeen looked over at the water and slowly nodded, 

"Okay, I will,"

She took off her camoflauge jacket and tossed it to the ground near Rover,

"Watch my jacket for me, Rove,"

Rover saluted at her and picked up her jacket, 

"Go be a kid,"

Mazikeen immediately ran in and towards her brother and his almost girlfriend, 

"Watch out losers! I'm coming in!"

They laughed and immediately, the three started splashing at each other. Rover watched with a happy look in his optics. He tried to pick up Mazikeen's jacket but gave up and started dragging it over to Bumblebee and Jazz. He smiled at the two cars, 

"Jazz, can you help me put Maze's jacket in?"

"Of course,"

He opened the car door, and Rover threw the jacket in. Bumblebee beeped, and Rover looked at him,

"What's up?"

"Is she having fun?"

Rover nodded immediately, 

"Yes, she finally is,"

"What happened with her parents earlier?"

Rover sighed and shook his head, 

"Maze has never gotten along with her mother...She gets along with her father for the most part, but her mother has never supported Maze. I thought she would have had me thrown out when we met...but here I am, I think I grew on her,"

Jazz finally spoke up, 

"So lil M is having fun?"

Rover nodded, 

"Yes, she has even gotten in the ocean with Sam and Mikaela,"

"So that is why you gave me her jacket?"

Rover nodded and patted his side, 

"Yes, she will collect it when they finish having fun,"

"Is this how she was when she was a kid?"

Rover shook his head, 

"She grew up very early. She learned how everything worked in the real world and never had a proper childhood...don't tell her I told you because she will be mad...but when she started inventing, her life got harder because her mother never approved of it. She would stay up all night in the garage tinkering with things, when she created me, we would talk all the time in the garage...then she showed me to Sam and I have not left Sam's side ever since."

"Did she make you stay with him?"

Rover shook his head, 

"She technically created me to be his friend, but as soon as I saw him the first time ever...I knew I would never leave his side. He is my best friend, just as you have the other Autobots, I have Sam and his family, even their dog, Mojo. I love them all, and I will continue to do so until I rust over,"

"Well, make room for more, because I am here too,"

Rover laughed and nodded, 

"Sam likes you, Bumblebee, and Maze likes all of you. So I like you too. It is nice to know other people similar to me,"

"Rover, you are an Autobot now, you are a part of our little rag-tag team,"

Rover nodded, 

"Thank you,"

"Was it hard when Maze left for the army?"

Rover sighed and nodded,

"Her parents were upset, her mom was very mad that she left. Sam was sad and slept in her room for two days, but I got him out and about before school, but every time he missed her, he always went into her room and sat on the floor. He did not know I noticed, but it was very depressing...he knew she was leaving but I think he was hoping she would change her mind...but we both knew Maze does not change her mind when she sets it to something,"

𝐖𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐌𝐚𝐳𝐢𝐤𝐞𝐞𝐧 

Mazikeen finally got out of the ocean and sat down in the sand, the two others came out and sat next to her. Sam nudged his older sister, 

"So, why do you hate the sand?"

Mazikeen chuckled and nodded, 

"Fine fine...It's because of what happened in Qatar...we were stuck in the desert for a hot sec after the attack and the continuous one...I got sand everywhere and decided to just hate it,"

Sam frowned and sighed,

"I'm sorry, Maze,"

Mazikeen smiled and shook her head, 

"Don't worry about it, Sammy...this was fun, I needed this,"

Mikaela smiled, 

"We all did,"

Mazikeen smiled and nodded, 

"Hey, you two stay a few more, I'm going to be right back,"

Sam immediately looked at his older sister as she stood up and she winked at him and made a kissing symbol with her hands. He blushed and she walked over to the two cars and spotted Rover talking to the Autobots,

"You having fun Rove?"

Rover immediately nodded and climbed up to her shoulder, 

"They made me an Autobot!"

Mazikeen smiled and nudged him with her finger, 

"You are definitely my favorite Autobot then, just don't tell anyone,"

Rover nodded,

"I will not,"

Mazikeen smiled at him and nodded, 

"Good, where is my jacket?"

"I put it in Jazz,"

Mazikeen nodded and walked over to Jazz, 

"Hi!"

"Hi lil M, did you have fun?"

Mazikeen smiled and nodded, 

"Yep! It was a lot of fun, now I am playing matchmaker,"

"How so?"

Mazikeen smirked, 

"I just left Sammy and Mikaela alone together, my goal is for Sam to finally ask Mikaela out to be his girlfriend,"

Bumblebee immediately started playing a song on his radio about young love and Mazikeen laughed, 

"Amen Bee, Amen. It's so funny because Sammy has had a crush on her for such a long time,"

"Really?"

Mazikeen nodded, 

"Yeah! He told me about her in a few of our monthly calls while I was on tour,"

Rover nodded, 

"He is head over heals for her,"

Mazikeen laughed and patted his head, 

"You, my dear, are very correct,"

Mazikeen opened up Jazz's door and took out her jacket and put it on over her wet clothes,

"This is much better now,"

Jazz laughed, 

"Don't you want to come inside? I can turn on the heat,"

Mazikeen shook her head, 

"I have sand all over, I don't want to get any sand in you,"

"I don't care, come inside before you catch a cold,"

Mazikeen laughed, 

"Okay, but I'm going to check up on the lovebirds first. I'll be right back, you coming, Rove?"

"Hell yeah!"

Mazikeen put Rover on her shoulder again and patted Jazz's hood before walking back to the beach. She stopped when she saw Sam walking back holding hands with Mikaela. Mazikeen smiled when she saw the happy looks on their faces, 

"So, how'd it go?"

Sam laughed, 

"Maze, I would like to introduce you to my girlfriend, Mikaela,"

Mazikeen cheered and pulled the two into a hug, 

"Oh I called it! I'm very happy for you two,"

Mikaela laughed and hugged her back,

"I'm happy I got to get to know you,"

Mazikeen winked at her, 

"Just you wait, our family is crazy,"

Sam sighed, 

"Don't scare her off,"

Mikaela laughed and hugged his arm,

"Hey, I'm not scared of the Decepticons, I can handle your family,"

Mazikeen winked at her, 

"That's the spirit!"

Sam laughed, 

"Let's get you home,"

Mikaela smiled and kissed his cheek, 

"Thank you,"

The three got into Bumblebee and Mazikeen slowly got into Jazz, 

"I promise to clean up any sand when we get to the house or right before we get to the base tomorrow"

Jazz laughed and started driving,

"Don't worry about it, lil M,"

He turned on the heating system, which was extremely easy for him to do this time. Mazikeen looked out the window as he drove and smiled peacefully.
