INTRODUCTION: SIRENS, TREASURES AND BLUEBEARDS WIFE

SIRENS ARE SAID TO BE AS BEAUTIFUL AS THEY ARE DANGEROUS. They are said to be the most beautiful of this world and the next but their song is dangerous and murderous. A harsh stereotype made up by years of stories being mistranslated. One that made sirens obsolete and rare in the numbers. But they do exist. Amongst the living and the people of the surface land.

They are typically found in the dangerous waters of the HADAL COVE. Right at the edge of the grand line. Lurking, hoping for the day they can no longer hide from human and instead, live amongst them peacefully. And only a handful of people knew of their true intentions. Vice Admiral Garp knew of this. In fact, he, along with Whitebeard and Gol. D Rogers fell in love with one. The same one. And her name was TRITON D. OCEANIA. Captain of the Sea Serpents crew. Who sailed upon the Mighty Atlantean. A ship that was said to glow so bright, it was as if it was made of pure sapphires.

But time and unfortunate circumstances will see that they will lose her all together. For Oceania was a wanted woman, as well as a siren amongst humans. And when everyone around East Blue got wind of her being a siren, it caused a catastrophe so big, it almost overshadowed Roger's arrest. For a siren sailing the seas was unheard of. And dangerous but because she was a fabled creature, it meant her bounty skyrocketed to a point where she was no longer safe to live amongst the people.

So she went into hiding. And because Garp had so much love for her, he helped her hide away from the world. Even if it meant he would risk being jailed and executed. He did it because he loved her and that love was blinding. It made him question his own morals and beliefs.

And against his better judgement, he promised Oceania that he would take care of the baby girl she gave birth to on that uncharted island. Her father? Unknown. But that didn't matter to Garp. Not now, at least. Oceania needed him to keep that secret until the day she could reunite with her daughter, whom will grow up to be just as beautiful and powerful as her.

ATLANTICA D. SAPPHIRE was the name she was given. GOL D. SAPPHIRE was her actual name. And it wasn't until she grew up and her love for adventure manifested was when Garp realized just who this beautiful little girls father was. The sad part about it? Rogers never had a clue he had a daughter. He died thinking Oceania died. He was executed thinking that he only had one child. If he knew that Oceania was pregnant with his child, Garp knew he would have tried his hardest to escape and search for her for the rest of his life. And in return, Garp felt disgustingly guilty for keeping that from him. He let his greatest friend down and Rogers had no idea.

And everytime he looked at Sapphira, that guilt and heartbreak increased tenfold. Eyes and a beautiful face like her mother but the spirit of her father. Two people he get that he has let down tremendously. Lived in this little girl.

MONKEY D. LUFFY: THE PIRATE AND THE STORYTELLER

MONKEY D. LUFFY fell in love with Sapphire because she sung him songs and shanties of the sea. Before he even knew what love really was or what it meant. And at his age now, he still doesn't know what it all means but he knows that he never wanted anything to happen to Sapphire. Nothing at all. He never understood why he would get so angry if anyone talked bad about her or did anything to her. He never understood why he had this insistent need to keep her by his side for everything. He just knew he needed her songs and her comforting aura. They did grow up by each others side all their lives. Maybe it was natural for him to be so protective and possessive of her. All because she sung to him.

RORONOA ZORO: THE SWORDSMAN AND THE SONGTRES

RORONOA ZORO fell in love with her because of her eyes. They were as blue as her namesake and as shiny as the ocean. They seemed to be able to trap even the most put together man. The most aggressive and dangerous men can look into her eyes and suddenly become so docile, it was irritating to Zoro but also so calming. He liked it and hated it. Who was this woman and why did he suddenly have this aching urge to protect her and shadow her? He still doesn't know the answer and it was annoying the hell out of him. How such a curious, a little ignorant and yet so calm and sweet girl can hypnotize him into caring about things he never used to care about. But no matter how irate he was of it, he never made the effort in snapping out of whatever spell she had on him. All because she looked at him.

SANJI VINSMOKE: THE COOK AND THE LADY WHO LAUGHED

SANJI VINSMOKE fell in love with her because she laughed. After his demeanor switched from irate to courteous upon realizing her and Nami's presence with the rest of the crew, she laughed a little. The sweet and melodic sounds of her wind chime like giggle rung in his ears like morning bells. Hypnotized by her out of this world beauty and her even shinier personality, Sanji was quickly smitten. And after that, he had to make her smile every chance he got. He just had to make her laugh every time he got the chance to do so, to cook and bake her anything she ever wanted. No request was too much for him and nothing was too hard for him to obtain if she needed it and no one was too tough for him to fight if she was ever in danger. Sanji's heart belonged to her and her alone. No one else existed but her to him. All because she laughed.

AUTHORS NOTES: PLEASE READ
Now you're probably wondering: 'Kenny/Jasmine, don't you have a one piece book with a little bit of a similar concept?' Yes, yes I do. But this one is different and it's gonna be different.

Did I binge watch all of the live action twelve times? Yes, I did. But who's gonna check me, boo? Sue me, it's a good show and one of the best anime to live action adaptations ever. Along side Tokyo Revengers. But anyways.

As some of you know, I am a slut for polyamory centered stories or stories that depicted reverse harems. Which is what this book will be centered around. The monster trio pining for one girl. Who is pretty oblivious to their advances. (Luffy will also be very oblivious to his own feelings and just perceive them as him being extremely close to her.)

Will this be a slow burn? Not really. I do not have the patience for extremely slow burns. I can read them but writing them? Nah. But the romance won't be fast paced because Sapphire is a cinnamon roll so she will be oblivious to their advances and such. And it's just them three trying their hardest to get her heart in subtle ways all while basically being her bodyguards.

It's like Luffy is the captain but she's the one who's really running the crew, unknowingly, too.
