No, Lorien knows that when his little brother finally arrives, healthy and safe, he'll feel a happiness that's been absent from his life for a while. He can already picture himself holding the baby, probably a bit awkwardly at first, but still proud.

When Kyren is born, Lorien will be there for him. He'll visit the hospital, meet the baby, and share in the joy his stepfather and Kian will undoubtedly feel. But he won't speak to his mom. Not yet. It's not about Kyrenβit's about the unresolved pain with his mom. For Lorien, the emotional distance between them can't just be erased with a new baby.
