"Not hungry, George?" Arthur asked his son who hadn't said much the whole dinner, picking at his food which was completely unlike him.

"Not hungry for christmas pie." he mumbled, drooping his fork, Ginny and Fred shared a teasing look across the table.

"Mum made plenty in the kitchen. She's still going at it." Bill confirmed as he slid into the spot next to Ron who was eating relentlessly, "What are you hungry for?"

"Juniper Lestrange." Fred said in a teasing manor, his voice changing as he giggled.

"Shove off." George said to him quickly, rolling his eyes.

"It's true." Ginny argued as Fred giggled.

"Shove off, you little-" George began before he was cut off quickly, this time by Ron who had a mouth full.

"It's true dad, worst i've ever seen, follows the lunatic around like a lost gnome." Ron said as Bill laughed at his youngest brothers words, Ron getting a smack in the head by George who was red in embarrassment.

"You know where she is right now, Georgie?" Fred teased as he circled the table to put his arms around his twin, "Snogging Cedric Diggory, or worse."

Goerge shrugged him off, standing up quickly and walking off.

"Aw, come back, Georgie!"

"George, we didn't mean it!"

"What'd you do for christmas anyway? I was expecting to hear some huge explosion all the way a few hills over." Juniper asked George after Hogwarts was back in session, the pair continuing to make Weasliper in the pottery room together considering they sold out around christmas time.

"Nothing really." George shrugged, putting the juniper plant in her hand as she tossed it into the pot, "What'd you do?"

"Over think, bite my tongue, ran into a owl." Juniper listened on as she grabbed the recently painted pot she made over the break, "I yelled at it for getting in my way, we got into a pretty big screaming match. Look what it gave me."

George frowned his eyebrows as she pulled back her wild curls, showing the scratch mark right infront of her ear, "Wicked, what if you turn into a owl?"

"You'd be the only one to know." Juniper said knowingly as she adjusted the green top she wore, the necklace dangling as she did so. George eyed it, a small sigh leaving his lips as he forced his eyes to look away.

"You and Cedric then, it's pretty serious?" he questioned her with a eyebrow raise, "Did his parents like you?"

"I think so." Juniper said with a sigh, "I just felt like I had to act a certain way for them to though."

George watched her as she held the pot as he poured the potion inside, trying to focus, "You shouldn't."

"What?" Juniper asked as he set the pot down as she tied the lid on.

"He shouldn't make you act like someone you're not." George stated quickly with a red face as Juniper stared at him in disbelief.

"For your knowledge, he didn't make me do anything." she snapped at him suddenly, seeming more in shock that he'd been the one to start something out of all people, "Not everyone had the luxury of being complete accepted for who they are."

"I didn't say that." he said quickly as she stood up, throwing her Slytherin scarf around her neck, "Why are you leaving?"

"Because you made me mad." she said with a eye roll, "Why does everyone have to have such a issue with my relationship?"

"All I said was that I don't think he should be making you be someone else." George said in disbelief as he stood up with her, following her toward the door, "June, don't leave, i'm sorry."

"No, i'm sorry for trying to talk about my boyfriend with you." Juniper said sarcastically as she walked down the hallway, leaving him in the room, "Won't happen again!"

"You're overreacting!" he called out to her down the hall as she sent him a finger over her shoulder.

"You're just not listening!" she went back at him before turning the corner quickly with a huff of annoyance.

The coldness of the water was intense when Juniper was pulled from it later that day, winter still freshly tense in the air and the lake only recently thawing out from when it was iced over. Juniper let out a yell of shock as she looked to see Cedric holding her, "What'd you put me in the water for, you lunatic?"

"It's the task!" he called back, swimming toward the dock.

"Is that Juniper?" Fred asked as he elbowed George who squinted his eyes, "Go pull her up!"

The twins hurried down the bleachers to get to the dock, moving past people, knocking a few in the water before making it to the end. Fred laughed as Juniper looked up at the pair, "Cold then, is it?"

"Pull me up before I strangle you with seaweed." Juniper said as the twins pulled her up quickly, Cedric climbing up quickly after. George wrapped his jacket around her as she shivered, looking up at him, "I'm sorry about earlier, I acted like a real wanker."

"I'm sorry too, I was in a bad mood." he said as Juniper smiled before Cedric threw his arm around her while cameras flashed and people cheered for him.

"Did we get up first?" she asked, not seeing any of the others around. Cedric nodded as he kissed her wet head, a large towel being wrapped around the pair as he pulled her into his arms to keep it around them better. Fleur came up soon after, sobbing about not being able to get her sister. Juniper felt guilty as she gave her the leaf she fished out of her hair.

Hermione and Viktor were soon after, only leaving Harry under. Juniper began to pace the dock in worry, holding her towel close as she looked out at the water for any sign of the Potter boy. She eyed Dumbledore, ready to start yelling any second now. The sudden splash of water had her stared out, "Harry! He's alive! Fleur! Look!"

Fleur gapped as in shock as she saw her sister swimming alongside Harry and Ron, letting out a cry of joy as she hurried to pull her up. Juniper grabbed Ron by the arms and pulled him up with a huff, having him gap at her as she shrugged, "Strong arms, years of attacking statues and ripping their heads off."

"Right." Ron said as she threw her blanket on him before helping Harry up as well, "Thanks."

"Harry! You're alive!" Juniper said as she pulled Viktors towel from his arms as he looked at her in shock, wrapping it around Harry, "Merpeople don't mess around, I for sure thought you were a goner."

"Oh, thank you, June." Harry said sarcastically as she kissed his head before standing up and joining Cedrics side again, holding his hand tightly as the pair watched Fleur gush at Harry and Ron.

"A fire sounds good right now." Cedric said as he rubbed Junipers arms to warm her up, "Think you can sneak into the Hufflepuff common room?"

"That's like asking if I can cut someone's hands off in less then five seconds, of course I can." Juniper spoke as she leaned into his chest with a small chatter of her teeth, hoping this would be over soon so the could leave.

"Attention!" Dumbledore tried to get the loud crowd to become silent, "ATTENTION!"

Juniper along with the others winced slightly at the booming word, rubbing their own ears slightly before the crowd died down.

"Merlins beard, I wanna pull his tongue out." Juniper said as she rubbed her ear, Cedric eyes widened and he shhed her.

"The winner is, Mr.Diggory!" the cheers for Cedric echoed as the boy smiled widely, however, Juniper was the loudest as she cheered for her boyfriend and pumped her first in the air, "However seeing Mr.Potter would have finished first had it not been for his determination to rescue not only Mr Weasley but the others as well, we've agreed to reward him second place!"

Everyone began to cheer for Harry as well as he looked in shock behind his fogged glasses.

"Think we can sneak away?" Juniper asked with a hopefully look, eyeing the fresh shot from the dock to the castle. Cedric looked over, grinning down as her as he took her hand and ran off.

George sighed at the sight.

"What was Fred talking about?" Cedric asked as he held Juniper who was rested on his chest near the fire, "About overreaching?"

"That was George." she corrected with a grin, "It was nothing, I just thought into the potions too much."

"How can you tell them apart?" Cedric asked, his laughter making her ears vibrate.

"Fred's eyes are softer then George's but George has a bigger bump in his nose. They always walk differently, Fred's a lot more out there then George is too, you can tell if you watch long enough." Juniper said honestly as her eyes shut, breathing softly at the sound of her boyfriends heart, "I'm really proud of you, for winning."

Cedric smiled down at her, rubbing her head, "Thank you, just one more."

"You've got this." Juniper said with a smile, sitting up better to kiss him on the lips, "We should go on a summer trip when you win."

"Where?" he asked with a grin, pushing her curls out of her face to look into her wide eyes better.

"Maybe... Rome, or Edinburg." Juniper listed on with a hum, laying back down as he rubbed her back, "Where do you wanna go?"

"I'll go anywhere with you." Cedric said as Juniper flushed, running a gentle hand through his hair, "But Rome sounds lovely, doesn't it?"

"That can work." she said with a yawn, her body softening and relaxing under his soft touch. She felt safe, the safest she'd ever feel.
