Did u know that February is Hawaiian Language Month (Mahina Olelo Hawai'i)? Well now u do :P 

So in honor of that, take this angst ridden piece of my Hawaiian speaking OCs, Malcolm and his brother Metua :D Both of them are Tahitian-Samoan-Hawaiian, but they're both fluent in Hawaiian.

"Kaikaua'ana, ha'o wau ia 'oe" means "Brother, I miss you" in Hawaiian btw

In summary, Malcolm and Metua were SUPER close and Malcolm looked up to his brother a lot. Metua was the one who taught him how to fight and wield a fire knife, both as a weapon and how to perform the traditional Samoan fire knife dance. 

But one day, Metua was killed in a skirmish, and it left Malcolm lost and devastated. He hasn't brought himself to handle a fire knife since his brother's death, and it's a scar that will haunt him forever. I won't say much else in case I actually do end up writing the story he stars in, but that's basically the gist of this drawing lol
