The Beginning
An unknown man places a grey rag on a wooden table before laying both forearms down. Both wrist have two thick silver bracelets and a tattoo representing the balance of justice on the right hid arm. The male removed his hands, running his hands across the rag and then poured himself a glass of water.
He dips his right hand middle finger into the clear liquid and makes a high pitched noise as he traces to top of the glass with the same finger. He picks up the drink and swallows everything in it, and after that he places the cup upside down on the grey rag. He folds the rag on top of the glass then grabs the two headed cane to smash it on top of the drink, shattering the glass. The male pushed aside the cloth, grabbing a pair of brown shoes in front of him, tipping all the glass in both shoes. He processed to place the shoes on the ground and slipped his feet in. Standing up and walked towards, what appears to be a temple.
Another figure came into view, only a little bit of light coming into the room as someone's eyes fluttered open. The unknown male named Steven Grant sits up in his bed, glancing around his room to spot anything out of place. He takes the blanket off his legs, noticing the strap that binds his ankle to the bed is still in place. Steven grabs the cable that connects the bed frame and tugs on it, causing it to make a rattling sound and refuse to go any further. He untangles the anklet, allowing it to fall on the bed. He gets out of bed, looking around the sand at his bed and was glad to see it untouched.
Steven walks across the sand, going up to his door and stared at the stick tape laying on the henge. He runs his fingers down it, then processed to rip it off and throw it away.
The male now walked up to his fish tank, food in hand and a phone against his ear, "Morning, Gus, my little one-finned wonder." His british accent audible.
As he was feeding his fish, he starts to talk to the phone. "Hello, Mom. It's me. Just checkin' in. I got your postcard, putting it up on Gus' tank now." He does that, placing it on the tank, also being seen there were photos of a (H/C) haired girl and Steven posing for the camera. "Yeah, it's very nice. He is fuming, though. Keeps asking why I don't take him anywhere nice." He chuckles cutely. "Maybe one day right? He'd love to get out of there, but it's a bit hard with on fin, innit? Anyway, Mom, all's well here. Not too bad. Still wake up every morning still feeling like I got hit by bus."
Steven still on the phone goes to open up his door, jumping in his skin when he sees the same (H/C) haired girl standing outside his door wearing a bright smile. "Hey, Steven." Her name being (Y/N) (L/N). Steven's best friend and other half.
He smiles shyly back, gesturing to his phone that he was talking to someone.
She understood and nodded her head, taking a step back as Steven locked his door, turning around and reached for the girls hand. The two of them now walking through their building to the outside. Steven would always hold the girls hand wherever they went, it was a comfort thing for the male.
"And if you.." Steven trails off on the phone, the pair arriving outside as they came across and older guy selling old brooms.
(Y/N) rolled her eyes at the sight while Steven talked to the man, "Hey, mate, still selling the old brushes and brooms, right?"
The older male didn't answer, continuing to fix up his stuff. "Right in front of our entrance. It's... Got no problem with it. Cheers." Steven gave a thumbs up and pulled (Y/N) along by the hand.
"Anyway, sorry I missed you, Mom. I'll try you again tomorrow. Laters, gators." He hang up the phone and placed it back in his pocket. (Y/N) quietly giggled at the last sentence, tightening her hold on his hand.
She looked up and double taked seeing their bus drive past them. "Oh, bloody hell." She cursed, "Wait!" She ran, pulling onlong Steven with her.
"Bollocks." Steven muttered, them both running to get onto the bus.
Once they arrived on the bus, the pair stand close together while (Y/N) reads her book and slightly looks up to see her best friend asleep on another mans back. She cringes and careful picks up his head, causing the male to open his eyes a little.
(Y/N) chuckles at him, leading his head onto her shoulder. "You can sleep here, not on a strangers back Steven."
He mumbles words that she can't quite hear, watching how he falls straight back to sleep on her shoulder.
They both walk into the museum after getting off the bus. (Y/N) watches her innocent best friend walk over to a child who was placing rubbish in the pyramid. The girl panicking seeing Donna there talking to Steven, so she quickly walks over in hopes to defend them both.
"(Y/N). Stevie." The woman's thick british accent calls. "That better not be you again."
The best friends hurriedly run forward, taking the boxes out of her hands. "Sorry, Donna." (Y/N) apologise sheepishly, knowing she would of been here early if she didn't wait for Steven.
(Y/N) places the boxes down and so does Steven while Donna scoldes the male more than the female. "Don't know how many time I have to tell you this. You're not the bloody tour guide, Stevie."
This cause (Y/N) to scoff, placing her name budge on as Steven did the same. "Steven." He shows her his name budge, "Actually. I am Steven."
"No, you're bloody useless unless you're actually doing what you're paid to do, which is to sell these to children." Donna says, pushing a crate full of sugar packets in front of Steven.
(Y/N)'s right eye twitched, not liking the way she was talking to Steven. However she calmed down feeling a warm hand on top of hers. Steven's hand covered hers to calm her as he could see her getting annoyed.
Steven nodded, "Got it." And he begins to organise the items given to him as the (H/C) haired girl started putting some boxes away, grumbling under her breath.
"Hello." A woman's voice approaching Steven made (Y/N) snap her attention back, stopping her work.
"Hello." He enthusiastically greeted back, not use to talking to any other woman but his mother and (Y/N).
"How's the sugar trade going?"
"I don't know what this has to do with Egypt really." He replied while arranging the products that Donna gave him. "They didn't have that back then, did they? No." He showed her the pack of back of the product before dropping it in the tray. "They like figs and dates, and..."
"My next tour's here but just checking." She interrupted. "We still on for 7:00 tomorrow?" And with that (Y/N)'s heart dropped, realising that her best friend - the person she really, really likes was going on a date with another woman.
"7:00 tomorrow?" He asked back confused, however he didn't see himself going out with no one but (Y/N) which confused him even more.
"Best steak in town?" She smiles, probably saying the line that Steven said to her.
Steven was completely lost. "Oh, yeah. Right. Yeah."
"Yeah? Okay." She chuckled and went to move away but Steven stops her.
"Sorry. But..."
"What?" She turned back around.
"Are you asking me out?" He glanced at (Y/N) for a befrief moment, seeing her looking away from the scene.
She gives him a look before lets out a chuckle scoff. "You're funny. I'll see you then."
Just as the woman left, Donna appeared in front of the duo. "Stevie, you absolute rascal. I didn't know you had taken a crack." The blonde haired woman looked at (Y/N), "And here I thought you were with little old (Y/N) here, since you guys barely leave each others side."
THe (H/C) haired girl tensed up awkwardly, avoiding eye contact with anyone as she felt Steven tense up also. She was right though, Steven wouldn't want to be with anyone else but (Y/N).
"What in the world's a bloody vegan gonna eat in a steakhouse?" Donna questioned, breaking the awkwardness.
Steven shrugged. "I don't know, Donna. Salad? Bread?"
She gave him a look, one that made (Y/N)'s blood boil. "Yeah, I can see why she went for it. Real catch you are."
Donna walked away to go somewhere else while (Y/N) watched with angry eyes.
She eventually sighed, turning to Steven to already see him staring at her in concern. She flushed, however saying in a soft tone, "Don't listen to her. Anyone would be happy to be with you."
He smiled dorkly, "I appreciate that, (Y/N/N). Especially coming from you." His british accent got quieter at the end.
"Stevie!"
Donna's stricted voice disturbed the pair, stopping the fluffy conversation.
(Y/N) huffed but nevertheless gave Steven a thumbs up, saying it was alright to go.
She watched her best friend run towards where Donna was, letting out a loud laugh when he almost tripped over the floor. That boy would always make her laugh even at the most badest times.
However, something (Y/N) didn't know was this date wasn't actually a 'date' date. It was one to make her feel an emotion that she hasn't before - all thanks to the other guy who wanted to see it.

"How's your dog going, (Y/N)?" J.B asked as the said woman was currently waiting for Steven. She had nothing else to do, so here she was talking to the security guard.
(Y/N) hummed, "Yeah he's good. Got a of more growing to do though." She laughs to herself, remembering how her pup tries to think it's a big dog when in reality it wasn't.
J.B smiled, leaning his face in the palm of his hand more. "You should bring him down sometime."
She nodded her head, smiling back. "Maybe I will."
While they two were talking, Steven saw them and a frown appeared on his face. He didn't like seeing her that close with another male. He scolded himself, not liking that thought of his best friend and adjusted his bag. "Hey. Good night, J.B."
(Y/N)'s head perks up hearing Steven's voice, waving to J.B and joined her best friends side who half smiled at her in greeting.
"Good night, Scotty." He replied then glanced down at his phone. "See ya, mate."
"Scotty?" Steven muttered, making (Y/N) slightly shake her head at the dumbness of the people in this museum. "It's Steven. With a "V". He corrected.
"Huh."
(Y/N) hissed through her teeth, clasping Steven's hand in hers who tensed at the sudden touch but soon relaxed knowing it was just his best friend. Glancing over her shoulder, she called back. "See you tomorrow."

While Steven was talking to man who was posing as a statue, (Y/N) was buying her diner and as well as some dog food for her pup. The male was talking about being accused of things he didn't do, given different names and a part from telling (Y/N) all this he would talk to the statue also. The woman was constantly worried about Steven and not even worried about herself, even though she had a weird bracelet on her wrist that she had no idea where it came from and how it got there.
Shaking her head, she paid for the food and thanked the male who made it. She then walked over towards Steven, not interrupting his conversation as she just sat there and listened.
"All right, we better jog on." Steven said gaining (Y/N)'s attention as he started gathering his bag. "Nice catching up." He stood up and turned to the (H/C) haired girl, helping her up also. "We will see you on the flip-flop side."
Steven tipped the statue and (Y/N) followed sit, eating her (F/F) meal. "All right laters."

The best friends arrived at their flats, the two of them being right next to each other for safety reason.
"I'll see you later, yeah?" (Y/N) chirped, turning around to face the male.
Steven grinned, "I will see you tomorrow." His british accent came through strong.
She nodded her head, debating whether to do what she was thinking or not but she did it anyway. She stepped forward, leaning up slightly and brushed her lips against Steven's cheek.
She pulled back, her eyes crinkling seeing Steven's flushed face. "Bye Steven." She opened her door and closed it, not seeing the male's soft expression.
(Y/N)'s ears perked up hearing little running footsteps, chucking and kneeling down already knowing who it was.
Her dog - a husky named Ozzy came sprinting to his owner, almost running into the wall which made (Y/N) laugh. The dog happily barked, jumping into his owner's arms and licked her face, happy she was back.
"Calm down Ozzy!" She giggled as her dog licked her face everywhere, getting slobber all over.
Ozzy playfully nipped her nose, tail wagging knowing she had food for him in her bag.
(Y/N) ran her finger through her dogs soft fur, placing the goofball down and walked over to his bowl, the dog following her every move. "Here, buddy." She placed his food in the bowl, fixing it up and yelped when Ozzy slapped his tail in her face, wanting the woman to move.
"Hey!" She scolded, rubbing her face and saw how the dog gave her a innocent look, going to eat his food.
(Y/N) rolls her eyes at the husky, leaving him be and went to change out of her work clothes, into her more comfortable ones. After that she did her nightly routine.
She made her way to her bed, pulling up the blankets to her chest and laid back down. She brought up her wrist, frowning seeing the weird goldish silver bracelet on her. She rubbed her tired eyes, not wanting to sleep yet but couldn't control her eyes when they fluttered closed.
Until some unknown energy force pulled her away from dream land.
(Y/N)'s eyes opened with a gasp, she found herself laying on the ground on the grass with no memory or idea of how she got here. Wasn't she just going to sleep? And wasn't she just staring at her unknown bracelet?
She glances down at herself, seeing her in the same clothes she was in just before but now with a white see through coat with a hoodie on top. And also, the bracelet moved up more to her upper arm where her muscles were flexing slightly. Lost and confused, the girl stands up and glances around seeing all greenery. Getting more scared when she spots a village not far from where she was.
"OW!"
Her head snapped towards the familiar voice, seeing the curly haired male with a dislocated jaw. "Steven?" She gasped, rushing to help the poor male up.
He groaned and moaned in pain as he fixed his jaw up, grasping onto (Y/N)'s upper arms as she helped steady him. "Oh, that was weird. What happened?"
"Go back to sleep, (Y/N) and worm." A sudden deep and dark voice echoed around the best friends heads. The (H/C) haired girl jumped in her skin, holding onto Steven's jumper tighter.
"Hello?" Steven asked, glancing back and forth around the area.
"You two are not supposed to be here." The same deep voice added from behind them.
"Yep. I completely agree." Steven replied, pulling (Y/N) a tad bit closer. "Where are you?"
"Surrender the body to Marc." The voice said.
"Sorry, what?" (Y/N) asked confused, not liking this one bit. "The body" What?.."
Steven touched his body, gesturing to himself. "Surrender the body? What body?"
"Oh, the idiot's in control." The voice said in disappointment.
Steven felt something in his pocket, making him hurriedly grab it out and place it in the palm of his hand so (Y/N) could see also. There sat in his palm a golden scarab and as the girl stared at it, the bracelet on her arm tightened more making her wince quietly.
(Y/N)'s blood ran cold when she felt a massive presence behind them, making the duo turn around to face only a castle.
Steven, being the gentleman he is waves at the man standing at the window. "Hello."
"Hi.." (Y/N) followed, her teeth clenched as she waved trying to be polite and the male returned her wave.
The their horror, another guy comes out with a gun pointed down at them. "What are you doing?" He asked before firing the gun on them.
"No, no, no!" Steven rambled, quickly brining (Y/N) down with him.
"Don't just stand there. Run!" The voice demands and the two do that, they sprint.
Steven dodged the bullet, grabbing (Y/N)'s hand and pulled her out of the way as they run from the castle. "No, no, no! No! Please!"
"Come on, Steven!" (Y/N) shouted, the girl in front of him as she was faster while they descend down the hills towards the village.
