Seulgi leaves the guest room after freshening up, making sure to close the door.

"Seulg." Hoseok finds her.

"Oh, hey."

"The barbecue's ready, I went ahead for you. Where's Lilo?"

"I think she wants an early night. She's really tired."

"Cool. You know... We should get to know each other more." He leans against the wall, practically oozing coolness. She grins out of amusement.

"Not sure if I'm ready to bounce back into the dating scene just yet."

"I just figured since we're the only single ones in this house... You're hot... I'm hot..."

"And you want to date the ex-henchwoman of a mafia boss?"

His smirk grows, one eyebrow bouncing.

"Hmph." She smirks back. Her hand taps his shoulder as she walks past. "I'll think about it."

The barbecue passed and everyone had a good time conversing through the night. It was a shame Lilo had to be asleep so early. As everyone heads to bed, Seulgi stops Taehyung at the staircase.

"Is it alright if Lilo spends the night with me? S-she promised to keep me company tonight and..."

"It's fine." He holds up his hand. "Just tell her I said goodnight."

"T-thank you so much. Goodnight." She bows and enters the guest room.

—NEXT DAY—
—TAEHYUNG'S POV—

The next morning, Lilo didn't come down for breakfast... In fact she skipped it entirely. It was now lunch and the boys were beginning to question why she hasn't been downstairs.

"Taehyung, where's Lilo? She's still asleep?" Jimin asks.

I exhale, "Yeah."

"Wow." Jungkook cocks his head to the side before stuffing his mouth with food. "I knew you had a twelve-incher, but didn't think it was that powerful."

"You idiot. She spent the night with Seulgi, not me."

"Maybe you should go check on her. See if she's okay." Jimin adds.

"Yeah..."

Seulgi then passes by the room after washing up, sparing a friendly wave.

"Oh, by the way Taehyung, Lilo's just upstairs having the shower. I kind of had another meltdown this morning and refused to leave the room, so she stayed with me."

"Oh, okay." I nod.

"Welp, I've finished my food." Jungkook stands up, shaking his overgrown bangs. Jimin follows. "We're gonna go work out in the backyard. You coming?"

"I'll watch." I stand up as well.

When I join the other in the yard, I see Teddy sitting on the sunbed open-legged with Winter sitting on the floor between them. Her head is tilted as the younger braids her hair with colorful bands and hair clips.

"Uh... What' you guys doing?"

"We're having girl bonding time! What does it look like?!"

"It looks like you're torturing Winter."

"Nooo she likes it! Right Winter?!"

"Time of my life."

"See! I'm gonna get some more butterfly clips, be right back!"

As soon as she's gone, Winter massages the kinks in her neck. "Aish... The things I do. Has Lilo come downstairs yet?"

"No. She's been upstairs since last night and it's already noon."

Winter looks to her right at the Seulgi, who is laughing with Hoseok. "Think she has something to do with it?"

"Seulgi? I'm not sure..."

"Let me check on Lilo. Maybe she's feeling down and needs girl company." Winter uncoils her hair as she goes upstairs.

—LILO'S POV—

I wake up with a throbbing head, as well as pain in the back of my leg. The place I'm in is fairly dark. Without allowing my vision to adjust, I look down and make out that my stab-wound has been bandaged.

My body suddenly jumps as we hit a speed bump, my lips mumbling moans.

"Wakey wakey."

I blink repeatedly to make out the figure sitting across from me, and that's when everything sinks in. I'm sat in the back of the van, sandwiched between two bulky guards across from Jaebum who watches me with a lingering smirk and crossed legs.

"Nice nap?"

"You!" I jump up with clawed nails, ready to strangle him but his guards grab me and pin me back down.

"Tsk tsk... That's not very nice, is it? After all we've been through? Just when I thought we were friends."

I sigh and look around the cage of the van. My eyebrows lace with confusion. "...Where are you taking me?"

"Isn't it obvious? To the police station."

"Okay..... Why?"

"Ah, I wouldn't be a good businessman if I just spewed to you all my tricks, now would I?"

I stare back with a completely idle cast.

"Oh what the heck. I want the money."

"That's a lie."

"I'm just a Good Samaritan baby."

"Also a lie."

"Okay look." He finally puts on a more recognizable expression of intimidation. His body leans forward. "The cops found one of our krokodil shipments and froze our transactions office, as well as confiscated thousands of units. What better way to get my merchandise back that to turn in the girl that's wanted for $250,000?"

"You do realize that you're much more of a criminal than me, right? You can't possibly think you're going to get away with this."

"But I already have. If I turn you in to a couple' cops I have on my payroll, they can clean my record."

"Okay... So what's the deal with Seulgi? How did you find us?"

"Oh yeah... Seulgi." He uses his fingers to air-quote. "Thanks for the tip by the way. When I sent that burglar to raid your place and he didn't return, I knew Kim killed him. And that would lead me straight to you guys. So I sent Seulgi to bring you to me. Of course, she'll never be the real thing, but she made a good weapon."

" I don't understand... Then who was that? If that wasn't really Seulgi..." I act clueless, wanting to hear it for myself.

Jaebum scoffs a chuckle.

"You should recognize her more than anyone. That best-friend of yours turned out to have an almost identical bone structure to Seulgi's, not to mention they shared the same BMI. All it took was a couple of face adjustments and... whipping into shape." He chuckles. "She was difficult of course, so we had to use surgical means for her to cooperate. Now she thinks she's Seulgi."

"WHAT?! You mean you brainwashed my best-friend into a Seulgi 2.0 just because they had similar bone structure?!" I now jump up a screaming mess, being held back. "Y-you can't just do that! You're sick! You are a sick, sick man!"

He fake yawns, rubbing his thumb along his fingernails.

"Yeah yeah, you can cry about it in jail. I hear a certain officer with a fractured arm can't wait to see your pretty face... And calm down. With strong enough head trauma, your friend can regain her memory, but any hit hard enough will probably have to kill her first."

"I swear to God, if you did ANYTHING permanent to Mina's brain— Mmph!"

Jaebum sticks a gag in my mouth and buckles it securely. My eyebrows knit with fury as I muffle incoherent curses.

"Mmm... I've waited a long time to do that. You look so pretty, baby."

—AUTHOR'S POV—

Winter returns to Taehyung in the living room, who is eager to be updated.

"Well?"

"I can't tell if she's up there. The guest room is locked."

"That's the room Seulgi is staying in..."

Winter shrugs. We both go quiet when the others join us inside.

"Heyyyy Winter you took out the clips! Great now I'll have to start all over again—!"

"Uh, m-maybe next time."

"You guys coming outside?" Jimin and Jungkook ask.

"Sure, we'll be out in a minute." Taehyung nods. Winter is quick to smack him on the arm, confused as to how he can just drop the Lilo thing. But he uses his eyes to reassure her before announcing,

"Seulgi."

She gives her attention.

"What happened to your palm?"

She looks down at her palm and hides it in a fist. "It was like this when I got here. Jaebum did a number on me."

Everyone looks at Taehyung in confusion at his sudden smug look. He doesn't back down though.

"Ah yes... Jaebum. The psychotic bastard that kidnapped you years ago and in the end, discarded you like a worthless hooker."

"Dude..." The boys furrow their brows. Seulgi looks uncomfortable, her eyes round and innocent as she stares at him.

"Of all people in this world, he's got to be the lowest right? I mean how can someone do that? What a disgusting, worthless low-life. Honestly, you deserved better."

The room is still silent as everyone watches Taehyung slowly walk to her.

"I wonder what's he doing right now? Probably screwing some other sex slave. I mean isn't his mansion full of them? That can only be expected from a man as immoral and slimy as—"

"HE'S NOT SLIMY!" She finally breaks.

Everyone in the room now stares at Seulgi with wide eyes. She looks around nervously...

Then she runs.

"Don't let her out!" Taehyung yells. Hoseok manages to shut the door before she can escape while Teddy sprints between them and jump-kicks her.

As she stumbles back, Jimin cages her from behind. She growls and grabs his arm before spinning and forcing it up his spine. There's a loud bone-crunch, causing him to fall to the floor and scream in agony.

"Jimin!" Teddy runs to him, but not before Seulgi punches her and spin-kicks her to the ground. Taehyung suddenly leaves the room.

"Come here, bitch!" Winter is quick to drag a fistful of Seulgi's hair from behind and toss her into the living room where her body crashes straight through the glass coffee table.

She manages to pin her down by the shoulders.

"What did you do with Lilo you freak?!"

Seulgi smirks and lifts her hips all the way until her legs wrap around Winter's neck, slamming her down onto the floor also. Glass stabs her in the waist, though despite the injury, she holds onto Seulgi's bloody ankle to stop her from getting up.

"Hey Seulg?"

She looks up.

Jungkook swings a bat at her.

Blood shoots from her mouth as she's knocked down a peg. With Winter still latched on, Seulgi kicks her in the face repeatedly until she finally lets go. She then pounces up and ducks Jungkook's next swings, allowing her to grab his face and head butt him down. Hoseok's punch from behind fails as she grabs his arm, elbows him and tosses him over her back.

Looking around the room now full of floored bodies, she notices the open door and makes a run for it...

But Taehyung blocks her with a shotgun.

"You got somewhere to be?"

With a scowl, Seulgi collects the nearest vase and throws it at him, missing his head to which a firework of shards burst canvases on the wall. By the time he makes a shot she's taken cover behind the couch. Feathers float around from the hole blasted into it.

There's silence...

She doesn't reappear from behind the couch.

The drastic silence has Taehyung's body tense as he hesitantly creeps over to her position. His dishevelled bangs curtain over his eye, teeth gritted, eyes narrowed and gun aimed...

"Yah!" She springs out, grabs the gun's tip and hits him in the face with it. After stealing custody, she shoots countless firey rounds following Taehyung's every movement while he runs away and leaps over the kitchen counter. Wine glasses and bottles explode one by one at his trail.

Now ducked behind the counter, Taehyung lets his head rest as he holds his now bleeding waist and hisses.

"Shit..."

His reels out one of the kitchen drawers.

Then takes out a pistol and loads it.

Seulgi's footsteps are so silent that can't make out her position. His eyes wander around and mouth hangs open out of habit.

The second he stands back up, Seulgi is close by with the shotgun aimed, a loud bullet just missing him again.

Taehyung picks up a knife from the floor and tosses it across the room as he escapes.  The knife stabs straight into the gun's nozzle when she makes her next shot, causing the shotgun to explode all over her hand. She screams and squeezes it tight.

"OW!"

He then crashes his knee into her stomach against the wall behind her. She ducks his punch and his fist crashes through the wall, allowing her to elbow him.

Finally, Taehyung manages to get her in a headlock with the pistol pointed at her temple.

"...Well what are you waiting for?!" Winter yells. "KILL HER!"

Taehyung looks around with intensity, his gaze ending on Hoseok who shakes his head from the floor. "Don't do it bro, you've come too far..."

"What do you mean don't do it?! You want us to die?!"

"Taehyung if you kill her now you'll have made no progress! Think about this!"

Taehyung licks his lips. His eyelashes flutter into each other as he blinks rapidly before finally flaring a deep inhale.

Then he knocks Seulgi out with he gun.

"Shit..." Hoseok stands up holding his shoulder. His shoulders slack as he looks down at her form.

"Guess I'm not scoring a date anytime soon. Think we can work it out?"

"Dude."

"So now what?" Winter winces as Jungkook helps her up. She's practically limping, having taken the harshest beatings. Jungkook's temple is also bleeding.

"Guys!" Teddy proclaims. Everyone turns to notice Jimin lying on the floor with Teddy crying over him.

"J-Jimin's hurt!"

"Shit!" Everyone now crowds around him. He stares up and the ceiling, hissing in pain as the others panic.

"Dude?! Are you okay?!" Jungkook asks.

Jimin scowls at him slowly.

"WHY WOULD YOU ASK THAT?! OF COURSE I'M NOT OKAY YOU FUCKING KNOB MY ARM IS BROKEN— GAH SHIT THIS HURTS!"

"I'll call an ambulance." Hoseok holds up his phone.

Jungkook then runs out of the room, "And I'll see if Lilo's upstairs."

"You hear that? Hobi's calling an ambulance! Hang in there Jimin!" Teddy smiles forcefully as she cries over her boyfriend. Despite her tears sinking into his cheeks, he smiles and encases her hand in his. Jungkook's grunts can be heard upstairs as he forces the guest room door open by ramming into it.

"Okay, ambulance is on its way. Now we need to find a way to clean this place up..."

"Guys!" Jungkook runs downstairs.

"She's not in there!"

"What?!" Taehyung asks.

'There's a broken mirror a-and ripped lamps and BLOOD but Lilo's not in there!"

"I knew we shouldn't have let her in, I knew it!" Winter points angrily, then picks up Taehyung's pistol at aims it at Seulgi's head.

"No no don't!" Taehyung stops her.

"She attacked us!"

"And how are we supposed to find Lilo if she's dead, huh?? We need her alive!"

Suddenly, the sound of a car pulling into the driveway can be heard.

Everyone looks back with wide eyes, then at Hoseok, who tip-toes through the foyer swiftly but silently.

After peaking through the little window, he covers his mouth and runs back to the others.

"Who—"

"Dude! It's the detective!"
