IT WAS THE EARLY HOURS OF THE NEXT DAY, all of the teenagers were still at the bar. all of the girls were gathered on a little podium, since it was —apparently—karaoke night.

the tune of 'good looking' by suki waterhouse was playing, the four girls were all singing along. they were all actually quite good at singing, making it enjoyable for the other guests as well.

"you adored me before, oh, my good looking boyyyy!" arabella sung in to the microphone, stealing looks at her summer fling. he was already looking at her, smiling widely.

"my good looking boyyy!" lucy continued, drunkenly making eye contact with santiago. he was looking at her as well, a sparkle in his eyes that bella had never seen before.

"my good looking boyyy!" valentina took her solo, pointing a discreet finger at diego, which he definitely saw.

"oh, my good looking boy..." linnea finished, cheesing widely at oliver. the boy grinned back at her, starting to clap. all of the other boys joined him, making everyone else in the bar clap as well.

the girls all grabbed each others hands and jokingly took a deep bow at the crowd. two voices could be heard yelling over everyone else, that being dino and paul, whooping and cheering.

the girls made their way of the stage and back to their friends, bella quickly running up to the two, still loudly yelling, boys. "oh my god, shut up you freaks!" she yelled, laughing.

"mind your business and go to your 'good looking boyyyyy!'" paul mocked jokingly. "girl..." arabella trailed off, but still making her way over to kimi.

as she sat back down next to him in the booth, the boy threw his arm around her. he leaned down to her ear, "i loved your song." he grinned, giving her a quick kiss on the cheek.

"you missed." she countered, turning to look at him and using his words from their picnic. he smiled softly as he looked down at her as well, "you're cringe." he whispered, putting his lips on hers none the less.

it was about three in the morning now, and arabella had lost everyone but kimi. they had been standing in a corner, joking around and stealing kisses like one of those clingy couples at a house party.

kimi was leaning with his back against the wall, bella next to him with his arm around her waist. the two were just watching people, and looking out for their friends.

then, a gap opened up for a second, between some people on the dance floor. bella gasped, hitting kimi on his arm. "wha—?!" the girl grabbed his jaw with her left hand, turning it towards what she was looking at.

there, on the other side of the room, were linnea and ollie. kissing. "dio mio!" the boy said, starting to chuckle. "fucking finally!" bella laughed, kimi nodding in agreement.

the girl quickly took out her phone and opened snapchat, taking a short video of the two and sending it in the snap group chat of the ten friends.

there was a reply from dino instantly, saying 'he finally manned up !!!'. a few seconds later there also came a video from dino, of paul talking to the waitress girl.

"paul is talking to the waitress he was giving googly eyes at." bella stated to kimi, who's face turned to her screen. "oh wow." his breath fanned the girls neck, making her hyper aware of how close he was.

she replied a quick, 'get her paulito !!!' before turning her phone off and turning to look kimi in the eyes. "can't leave ollie and lin alone in their doings now, can we?" she asked teasingly, slinging her arms over his shoulders and connecting them behind his neck.

the boys hands quickly fell to her hips, squeezing them slightly. "no, we really can't." he said, his serious face turning into a tiny smirk.

he turned her with her back to the wall and softly pushed her into it, making arabella raise her eyebrows. "oh?" she let out, surprised at his slightly dominant action.

"it's the sangria." he murmured, pushing his lips onto hers for —what must've been— the thousandth time that night. she quickly responded by pulling him closer to her and running one of her hands through his hair.

a few seconds later, he pulled away for a breath. "you're so ethereal." he whispered lowly before kissing her again.

bella was stunned by the compliment. never, never, had a man called her that. the compliment made her feel special. she kissed him a little more fiercely, as her way of saying thank you.

then, bella's phone buzzed wildly in her pocket, indicating that someone was calling her.

she pulled away for a second, making the boy protest for a second. she looked at her phone screen, seeing valentina's name. "val's calling." she informed kimi while clicking on the accept button and putting her phone on speaker.

"val! what's up?" she asked, "where are you and kimi? lucy's throwing up! everyone else is already here!" valentina's voice sounded, making bella and kimi crack up. m

"we're on our way to the toilets, see you in a second!" bella said, hanging up after.

kimi looked at her expectantly, waiting for something. she groaned and pecked him on the lips. then grabbed one of his hands and pulled him along to in the direcentipn of the toilet, where they spotted all of their friends.

they joined at paul and dino's side, who looked them up and down. "nice lipgloss, kimi." paul giggled, making dino crack up.

bella looked at her... boyfriend? summer fling? summer boyfriend?

bella looked at kimi, only now seeing that her lipgloss was all over his lips. "oh my god!" she laughed, grabbing his face with her left hand and starting to wipe his lips with her right.

just then, lucy came stumbling out of the bathroom, almost hanging onto santiago like a koala. "oh girl..." bella trailed off, looking at her friend.

"yeah, we're going home." santi said, smiling teasingly and looking down at lucinda.

santiago literally carried lucy all the way to her bed, "i'll sleep here tonight, in case she has to puke again." he said, making linnea raise her eyebrows, "no funny business, diaz!"

"i wouldn't fancy lucy's puke on me, so don't worry!" he replied sarcastically as everyone left the room. "kimi and ollie can also sleep here tonight. val, paul and dino can sleep at diego and santi's house, it's easier that way." bella said, making everyone nod.

the four who were staying at the house, walked the rest out of the door. they separated ways after going up the stairs and went into their own rooms.

bella and kimi would just share the huge bed she had claimed, they decided. she quickly changed into her sleep shirt in the bathroom, as kimi was already laying in the bed.

"i hope you don't mind that i sleep in my underwear." he stated, making bella laugh. "i freaking love your abs so it's fine." she said, still a little influenced by the cocktails she had had.

the boy chuckled a little as bella laid down under the covers. she turned to her side to look at him, finding him already staring back. "you're so handsome." she said sleepily, reaching out and running a hand through his hair.

he smiled softly before giving her a peck on the lips. he turned over to his back, holding his arm up for her to scooch under. she did so, laying her head on his chest and slinging her arm over his tummy.

"sweet dreams, pretty girl." he said softly, making bella smile. "sweet dreams, cariño."
