Personality:

Lethe Danaan is someone you do not want to mess with snarky, sarcastic and with a habit of angering people in high places often. This girl is headstrong, determined, cunning and incredibly manipulative. Facing her wrath is something most people do not want to do, especially if they find out that not only does she have a powerful father {even though he wants nothing to do with her} in her corner but she also is allies with avery skilled bounty hunter.

She does a lot of things with different intentions, and can secretly do a lot while putting on the facade of a "stupid rich girl". She doesn't care about rules and is willing to break the law to get things done. She is also deadlier than she lets on, having dabbled in dark magic her whole life along with being raised by a witch who happens to be her mother.

Lethe is known to be well a monster, those who don't know her or are not close to her often tend to fear Lethe. Though to those that have gained Lethe's friendship she tends to be rather protective of to the point where she isn't afraid to rain down her wrath on those that harm these people. Lethe is cold, ruthless and unpredictable force of nature, it is with the aforementioned traits that she is able to carry out inhumane acts with little to no remorse. She has very little respect for authority figures of any allegiance, including her own father and will actively disobey orders in order to further her own goals.

History:

Lethe is not a child who is loved by her father, in fact when he found out he even had a daughter he wanted nothing to do with her. Sure he gave her a status and made her a member of his Court but he never really loved her, all he wanted her to do was to stay in the shadows and out of his way. I guess that was one of the main factors that made her the woman that she is today. You see Lethe Danaan was born to a powerful witch by the name of Araceli Danaan and her father well he was one of the most powerful figures in all of Shadow City. The Fae King himself sired Lethe, having seduced her mother into sleeping with him and then wanting nothing to do with her when he discovered her mother was pregnant with Lethe. He always had wanted a male heir, someone who would be as powerful as he was and a full blooded fae. Her father never wanted a Halfling child in the first place, which was probably why Lethe never knew about him until he actually needed her.

It was her eighteenth birthday, by then her father had actually sired the full blooded male fae heir that he had always wanted. But there was one tinsey little problem, his son did not want to become king nor was he destined to. You see when Lethe's half brother made the drop into his power and immortality it did not turn out the way her father expected. Prince Elio of the Fae was in no way powerful, he didn't even come close to having half of his father's power even and that would not do for the Fae Council.

So when a rumour reached their ears about another child of the Fae King, one who seemed powerful even though she had not completed her drop yet they jumped for joy. Ordering her father to summon his half breed daughter to the Palace of Midnight at once, that she would become the new Heir to Midnight. Let's just say that didn't go down well with her father ether or with Lethe herself, she hadn't even met her father at that stage but already hated him. Like he hated her, even though she was to be his heir he still wanted things to remain the same. For her to stay out of trouble and out of his way, he didn't want his halfling daughter to ruin his reputation.

Lethe was not the type of person that was known to follow orders or stay quiet, she caused trouble for her father it was in her nature to. She hated the man so why make his life easier or allow him to keep his reputation as a powerful well respected fae when she could just cause even more trouble for him.

And this was how the story of the fearsome Lethe Danaan came about ....
