When the Justice League realizes they can't do it all they bring in back up. The League can't handle both earth and outer space missions all while coping with the ever-growing media attention and fans. They needed a new division of superheroes to take on the job, people that won't be as well suspected by villains.

Insert the team, the Young justice. A group of young superheroes to undertake covert operations on behalf of the Justice League. They will go places where the JL can't, do what the justice cannot. Save the many and not the few and take down villains the right way.

With the Light's reach growing ever stronger, a new team will arise and take them down once and for all.

With the team checking every diversity box with the team consisting of humans, demigods, aliens, angels and even demons they will go on a journey of self-discovery, and of changing one's mind, heart, self, or way of life.
