After convincing both Mirage and (Y/N) to climb aboard the old, busted up Autobot known as Stratosphere, the group all set off for Peru, with Airazor gliding behind them silently.

Noah and (Y/N) sat side by side within the craft, with Elena nervously closing her eyes beside the oldest of the three. The bots had opted for pushing themselves in the corner of the plane, due to their size which limited them from moving around.

(Y/N) glances to her left and frowned at Mirage, who had his head tucked between his bent legs. She watched his shoulders move up and down steadily, indicating that he was still awake with how often he moved or twitched his metal prosthetics.

She looks down and flinches when her eyes lock on the lifeless shell that was once Bumblee. He was laid out securely between his friends, who all huddled around him protectively.

Mirage moves his head up and flinches when he and (Y/N) lock eyes. They stare at eachother for what painfully felt like hours but was only a couple of seconds before the women moves her eyes down when Elena speaks up from beside her.

"Sorry.." the researcher says quietly with her shoulders pulled up to her ears. "I sing when I get nervous, it usually calms me down." Both friends smile while they listen, and (Y/N) glances towards Mirage again, but his head was back to being tucked between his knees.

"First time flying?" Noah asks, and his friend leans back so he could properly talk to Elena. She shakes her head. "Man, this is my first time leaving New York." The plane jerks a bit, and (Y/N) grunts when she feels it move side to side.

"Oh my god, oh god.." Elena mumbles, and (Y/N) spares a glance at the women before she knocks her elbow into Noah's stomach and gets up. Her friend takes the hint and takes her seat and watches as she slowly walks towards Mirage.

She stretches her arms out and takes careful steps towards him, but yells when the plane jerks from side to side once more. Mirage shoots his head up when he hears her yell and his blue optics widen before he lunges himself at her.

The robot huffs when he lands on his stomach with his arms outstretched and his legs in the air. (Y/N) stumbles into his palms, and looks up sheepishly when he stares at her with a confused smile. "What..are you doing?" Mirage asks through a laugh, and (Y/N) looks down before clearing her throat.

"I..uh, wanted to check on you." She says softly, and Mirage only cooes at her and sits straighter. He drags her towards him and places her in his folded lap. Looking up, (Y/N) looks Optimus up and down with a glare before greeting Arcee with a small smile to which she returned.

She looks down and sucks in a breath when she sees Bee more clearly. He was..in really bad shape. His front had a giant gash through the middle with dirt and grime covering his once shiny yellow armor. His optics were bland and dark, no sense of life swimming in either of them while his head was tilted in an awkward angle.

(Y/N) raises a brow when her vision his disrupted by a metal hand, and Mirage looks down at her with a small smile. "Don't focus on that..focus on me!" He points to himself with a grin, and the women can only scoff with a smirk. "Sure." She says, and leans back to rest her head against his front.

Mirage stiffens a little by the sudden affection but dosnet deny it when he gently sets his hands in his lap and curls his arms around her body to hug her close.

He closes his eyes and tilts his head back to get as much rest as he could before they landed.

...

Noah watches the two from the side and smirks a little bit. He nods a little in their direction before looking back at Elena and breathing deep. "You know if this key thing is real, and we get our hands on it..we gotta destroy it." He says softly, trying not to divert any attention towards the conversation.

Elena smiles, confused. "What?" He leans closer to her and speaks under his breath. "They can't unite both pieces. No key, no Unicron, no Earth getting eaten." He makes his logic clear, but Elena only frowns more before she looks back at the robots mere feet away from her, busted up and worn out.

She looks down at (Y/N) who had already fallen sleep in Mirage's lap, and her frown only deepens when the robot tightens his hold around her subconsciously.

"Yeah, but then they can't get home." She tries to reason with him, but Noah's face barely moves. "We gotta think about us." He nods, and Elena looks down at her lap while thinking. Noah takes in her expression and leans further in. "Look, all you gotta do is find it, and me and (Y/N) will take care of the rest."

Of course he knew his friend would never go along with his plan. If anything she would slap him hard across the face and call him an 'idiot' for even thinking about it. But giving Elena the false hope that another member of their team would also be okay with it, would somehow put herself at ease.

The researcher glances once more to the other human currently curled up in Mirage's lap like a cat in the warm sun. It takes her a moment before she looks back at Noah, and nods.

Meanwhile, Arcee kept her gaze on the yellow robot laying at her feet before she looks up at Optimus. "Do you think an Energon infusion could bring him back?" She asks quietly, trying not to wake the sleeping bot beside her.

Optimus glances at his teammates before looking down at Bee. "Perhaps, if we could get him back to Cybertron." He curls his fingers into a fist and turns his head to stare out the small window to his right. "..I never should have taken us so far from home."

...

Finally, after a few more hours of flying the group all arrive in Peru, that being present by the vast green hills that curved and stretched across the landscape, with many old ruins that have been carefully attended to peaking up from over the trees.

Airazor screeches before she glides down towards an open field, with Stratosphere in tow. The Autobot lands roughly, with his engines sputtering and exhausting before he shuts off and allows them all to climb down.

(Y/N) rubs her eyes tiredly as she looks around, with Mirage right behind her, arms folded while he leans his weight on his left leg. The women looks around in awe, and the bot notices. "Pretty cool place for uh..a date?" His voice box cracks a little at the end of his sentence, and he coughs to the side before looking down at (Y/N) with a nervous grin.

She only responds with a playful hum. "Sure, do you know a guy that would take me?" The Autobot deflates at her humor, before he gently nudges her back with his foot while grumbling. (Y/N) turns around and shoots him a look before sighing and walking towards her friend.

Mirage watches her walk away, and looks down, with his fingers clenching the metal around his arms tightly in annoyance.

Meanwhile (Y/N) walked to Elena's side, and they both look up and marvel at the anchoring ruins infront of them. But their attention is quickly caught when the sound of tires creaking and a loud horn comes from their left.

Looking back, the group all quirk their brows (be it metal or not) and stare at the muted pink Volkswagen while it moved from side to side clumsily against the grass.

"Wow." Mirage speaks up, and him and the group all take small steps forward. "WheelJack needs to fix that power steering."

The bus quickly breaks apart and merges into a medium sized Autobot with big squares shaped glasses. The doors folded in on his back and gave the impression that he had wings that matched well with the bulky shoulders that he sported.

"Sorry I'm late." He apologizes quickly and breathlessly. (Y/N) and Noah share a look at his accent, Hispanic, which made them both grin a little while he talked. "I was taking in a harmonious moment between a serene butterfly and an unruffled caterpillar..such tranquility.." he finished it off with a dazed look, seeming to have relived that moment again.

"Oye, papo, where you from?" Noah asks with a smirk, and (Y/N) nods her head while they watch the bot tilt his head a little. "Cybertron." He shrugs his shoulders, and the women shakes her head. "Then where'd you get that accent from?"

"Accent? What accent?" WheelJack furrows his visor at the two, but that only causes them to look a little bit silly when they chuckle. "Y-you know what we're saying? We're saying it's cool!" Noah tries to play it off, and (Y/N) speaks up nervously.

"Like I was about to be like, 'Yo, mira, papi, de dΓ³nde eres?'" She laughs, having learned a little Spanish from the many nights she spent at the Diaz residence. "Pero, I didn't want to assume you speak Spanish too, because then..right?" Looking around, she finds that the group had all watched her with amused smiles on their faces.

Noah shakes his head a little with a smile, but Mirage was the only one to watch her with comical stars in his optics.

WheelJack hums. "A little racist, hermana." He says the last bit with spite, but Noah cuts in while (Y/N) takes a step back to rethink her life choices. "We're not trying to be, you know..yo."

He's ignored when the group starts walking forward, with the newest bot leading the way. "But he's a robot, like, so..how's that racist?" (Y/N) only sighs at her friend before patting him on the shoulder and following after their team.

Mirage jogs back to her side, and grins. "I didn't know you could speak Spanish." He speaks up. "I'm impressed." Nodding his head, he watches as the women only shakes her head and walks forward, causing him to once again slump his shoulders and chase after her.

"Was it something I said?"

...

The team move through a cluster of rocks, all formed into a large circle that split off into a smaller pathway that looked over the giant tow that nestled below the hilltop.

"Okay, you guys, check this out." WheelJack calls up, and they all move to look down at the houses below, all pushes together and piled on top one another perfectly, like a jigsaw puzzle where the inhabitants didn't mind one bit. "The coordinates you gave me correspond to an old church, take a look."

Optimus takes the offer and zooms in with his lenses. The church was run down, in a somewhat clustered area of the town. Elena looks up and nods when she spots it. "That's Santo Domingo. The Spanish built it in top of an old Inca temple."

"Correcto" WheelJack nods. "I picked up some residual energy readings around the courtyard, so I'm guessing the keys somewhere close by."

The bot turns to his right and zooms in on a large parade taking place in a small square, with the people dancing and cheering while a float is being moved through the small pathway. "But, we may have some trouble getting there. Inti Raymi, it's a festival that shuts down the whole city."

Mirage nods from the side, "Guess it's a night mission then." He smiles, and was about to take a step in (Y/N)'s direction before his boss cuts him off. "No, Scourge could already be here. We must retrieve the other half before he does."

Noah stares down at the city, obviously to small for the boys to try and sneak in, but not for him or (Y/N). He turns around and looks up at Prime. "We'll do it." Elena turns to him with wide eyes and a hum, but (Y/N) raises a brow and shrugs. "Y'all would never make it two blocks."

"There's human security all around the church." Arcee steps in, her voice showing that she didn't trust the idea. "You'll never get through." Noah looks back at (Y/N), and she nods along with him. "Then we'll have to take a play out of your book." She removes her jacket from her shoulders and watches as Noah does the same. "We'll hide in plain sight, we'll blend in with the parade."

Elena looks to the two and locks eyes with (Y/N). She watches the researcher and smiles when she nods.

"It is not a bad idea.." Optimus agrees, and Noah smirks when he hears the giant robot finally agree with something they said. "We will keep an eye out for the Tarrorcons, on first sign of trouble, we are going in."

"Yo, Noah think fast." Tossing his arm up, Mirage chucks something down to the boy. He holds his hand up and watches with a quirked smile as a gauntlet moves around and clicks into place on his left hand, with a blue pulses at the top.

(Y/N) looks down at the object and smirks when she runs her hand across it. "I'm trusting you to keep me safe with this, Casanova." She jokes, and Noah bumps his shoulder with hers affectionately. Mirage scoffs. "Please, I'll be the one rushing down there the moment you need me, okay?" He says smugly, and the women only nods with a laugh.

"No problem tin-can." She smiles, and together, the three of them make their way quickly towards the church.

...

The crowd all cheer and scream while the festival goes on, with some banging on drums while others joined in for dancing and singing. A large float of a mythical beast is pulled carefully through the square, with men and women alike dressed in colorful attire while they all dance beautifully in four straight lines.

...

The three were tucked securely in WheelJack, with Arcee in the back while they spotted traditional and cultural attire to blend in with the tourists. "You guys, it's time to roll out." They all hear Mirage's voice through the radio.

Taking big deep breaths, they push the doors open and all climb out into the busy streets. "Blend in, act natural." The transmission cuts off, and they quickly speed through the crowd to make it to the center square.

Maneuvering through the crowd, Noah grabs both girl's hands and rubs them past a cop, before running into the festival and up to a large statue being carried by the locals. Noah goes to one side while Elena and (Y/N) go to the other and pretend to support the beams carrying the statue for a few more paces.

Quickly ditching the statue, they all duck into an empty alley, and run through it towards the church.

...

Pushing through two wooden doors, Elena and (Y/N) walk in first and look around at the abandoned church courtyard. It was covered with greenery, with some vines crawling up the sides of the building while the floor was carved with symbols and images alike.

Noah shuts the door quietly behind them, and slowly the three make their way around the grounds. "They keys gotta be in here somewhere.." he breaths out, and the three share a look before they go around and look at the structure.

Both Elena and (Y/N) walk towards the center of the grounds and frown when they see a symbol carved into a standing stone, almost identical to the one the researcher had sketches into her notebook.

While (Y/N) continued to stare at the symbols, Elena looked up and spoke when she saw Noah looking at the stones layering the church. "The stonework is 17th century." She says, and Noah looks up at her. "What we're looking for is something much, much older."

"Elena.." (Y/N)'s voice draws her attention to the women who was crouched infront of the large circular symbol carved into the middle of the ground. "Look here.." she points to one of the smaller circles to the side, and notes that it was a familiar symbol. "What is it?" Their friend asks from the side.

"It's the same insignia in Airazor.." Elena smiles up at him. "But it's..not lined up right." Tilting her head more down, she squints her eyes. "Wait, you see that? I think there's something under here.." she places her hands at the edges of the stone and begins to turn it, all while grunting and struggling at the vines and grass that refuses to let it go.

Elena groans when it moves, and they all look up when a loud rumbling is heard from underground. (Y/N) looks up and jogs to the other side of the circle. "There's another one." Pointing to the other edge, she directs Noah to another symbol.

Together the two bend down and place their plans against the rocks and grunt while they try to move it. A loud sound booms from below them, but they don't stop and shove them into the correct position. A rumbling sounds from below, and they all group together at the base.

"Now what?" Noah breaths out, and Elena shrugs. "I thought it would've-!" She shouts when the floor suddenly pulls in on itself, and (Y/N) grabs both hers and Noah's arms to shove them away. They watch in awe as the circle moves to the side and forms into the ground, and they all look down at the large hole in the ground.

Several pillars protrude out of the abyss, each acting as a poorly designed staircase that angled itself all the way down. "This some Indiana Jones type shit.." Noah comments, and excels in releasing a small laugh from (Y/N).

Taking the first step, the (H/C) women slowly bends down to jump onto the first step. "You sure about this?" Elena asks shakily, her breathing increasing just a little. Noah looks back at her before making eye contact with his best friend and sighing. "Nah."

Slowly, the three make their way down, with pebbles falling off and clattering to the ground, and the echo only increases Elena's nerves.

...

After a short while the trio make it to the bottom, and Noah gently helps Elena with the last step before they look around at the cold and airy cave. It was almost complete pitch black, with the exception of the lights, seeping through small cracks and holes in the walls.

As the research said, the cave was formed around an Incan city, completely destroyed but preserved despite being locked away for hundred's if not, thousands of years. "You know, we must be the first people to walk here in half a millennium.." she breaths out, and (Y/N) smirks. "That's cool." Elena turns and smiles at her, a little amused at the small comment.

They take a step towards the city, and Noah looks down when the gauntlet beeps. "Yo Sonic, Blaze, you dead yet?" Mirage's voice peeks through, and (Y/N)'s eyes widen at the names. Noah shakes his head. "No." He double takes, and looks down. "Wait did you just call us Sonic and Blaze?" All they get is static, but their attention looks up when Elena calls out.

"I think that's a temple."

...

The temple was old and dusty, with some parts chipped off and laid to crumble behemoth the pile of broken homes and other ruins.

"What are we looking for?" (Y/N) asks softly. "You see the symbols on the temple?" Elena asks, and directs Noah's arm to point upwards and use the torch on the gauntlet to illuminate the symbols carved into the front of the rocks.

"They match the ones from the courtyard, I think it's up there." They all walk up a long staircase leading to the middle of the temple, and their breaths hitch when they spot a medium sized tomb, covered in dust at the center of the room. "I think we found what we came for.." (Y/N) says with a smirk and quickly moves towards the object.

It had the same symbol as the one Airazor had on her chest. "I always wondered what it would feel like to be there when artifacts were found." Elena breaths out, her arms dangling by her side as she stares in amazement at the tomb.

Noah shines his light at the object before he crouches and puts his hands at the edge of the lid. "Okay, come on push." He watches as Elena takes the other side while his friend pushes from the middle. They all grins while they push, and after a second (Y/N) glares at Noah.

"Are you even pushing?"

She receives a kick to the shin. "Yeah I'm pushing!" He grunts out, and they all push one last time before the lid finally moves and clatters to the ground. They cough a little by the dust that springs out form the open casket, but their eyes go wide with confusion when they stare inside.

It was empty, they only thing that they knew would keep their home safe was gone.

"Wait..what?" (Y/N) feels her annoyance grow but she listens when Elena closes her eyes. "Just, just let me think."

"No, no, no, no, where is it?" Noah begins to panic, and Elena reaches inside. "Sometimes there's, like, a-like a false bottom or something?" She hits her hand against the inside of the box and (Y/N) reaches in to do the same. She blows a giant it and pulls Noah's arm when she sees a symbol.

"Look!" Elena looks down and breaths a sigh of relief. "You see these symbols? I've seen markings like this-the Airazor statue at my museum. "They're new!" Noah and (Y/N) spare a glance with eachother while they listen
"They're not on the Transwarp key."

"There's two of them." Noah reaches in and dusts off the second symbol, and together him and his best friend watch as Elena begins to uncap her marker and copy the symbols onto her palm.

Rubble clatters from the outside of the room, and they all turn and listen while a mechanical chitter rings through the air. (Y/N) panics a little and without thinking, she grabs her friends arm and brings the gauntlet to her lips. "Hey..Mirage?" She whispers into it, not once taking her eyes off the entrance.

"Let's keep moving.." Noah says softly. "Just give me a second." Elena quickly tries to hit down the rest of the symbol, but a screeching form behind her draws (Y/N)'s attention to snap back.

"Run!" She grabs the researchers arm and pulls her away just as the horrific creature swipes at her with its metallic claws, and misses her face just by an inch.

They all quickly sprint out of the temple, with the metal creature hit in their heels. Elena rushes down the stairs while Noah and (Y/N) jump down the platform and roll to the ground before getting up and running.

"Go, go, go, go!" Noah yells, and rushes past, he skids to a stop when he hears a yell and fumbles back when the creature snags (Y/N)'s ankle. The women screams in pain but doesn't stop and tries her hardest to keep up, despite the burning sensation around her leg.

"Mirage! We got trouble!" Noah yells into the gauntlet. "(Y/N)'s hurt! One of those things is down here! Where are you guys?!" Despite the boys frantic wording, Mirage could only focus on one particular word. "(Y/N)'s hurt?!" The Autobot screeches from his position. "Hang tight! I'm on the way!"

The trio pass through a narrow hallway, but (Y/N) turns around when she sees Elena trip and slam into the wall. The creature snags at her but screeches when she ducks and it's claw gets stuck in the brick beside her head.

She rolls down the steps and lands safely in (Y/N)'s arms before they both scramble to their feet and continue to sprint through and down staircases.

They all make it a safe distance away but scream when the creature jumps down infront of them and stands on its hind legs. Elena hides behind Noah, with (Y/N) a little bit infront of the two. The researcher shoves the boy forward. "Do something!"

"What do you want me to do?!" He hisses through his teeth, but (Y/N) takes a step back when she sees the gauntlet begin to light up a bright blue.

It pulses around his hand before shooting a bright blast towards the monster and knocking it off its feet, immediately killing it before it slammed into the ground, with smoke rising from its body.

They all breath in deeply before (Y/N) gestures to the weapon and stares at her friend in disbelief. "You had a gun this whole time?"

"..shut up."

...

Finally, they had managed to slowly make their way outside of the cave and squint when the harsh light catches their eyes. "I hear water." Noah says softly, and (Y/N) smiles when the sound of water flowing down stream catches her ears and the smell of grass after rain fills her nose.

Quickly moving out, they come across a small stream flowing with a large canopy covering them. "Where are we?" Elena questions, a little frightened at the new surroundings.

(Y/N) places a hand on her shoulder for support and groans when she pulls her pants leg up. Noah looks down and gasps at the swollen skin, with a large gash deep in her leg and dried blood sticking to the wound.

"Oh shit.." he mumbles, and bends down. He cups some water from the stream and pours it over the wound, and (Y/N) hisses. "Careful!" She growls, and slaps the back of his head.

Noah yelps, "You want me to cut it off? Cause I'll cut it off right now!" Taking his threat lightly, (Y/N) sighs and allows him to help her, only hissing and cursing every once in a while with Elena staring up at her in worry.

After some time they try and move through the king body of water, with Noah gripping his friends arm and helping her slowly pass through.

A loud roar rings through the air and causes them all to look around in worry. "What was that?" Elena asks, and moves quickly to the other end of the stream. Their pants and shirts were completely soaked, but that didn't matter to Noah when his mind was solely focused on helping his injured friend.

Carefully moving up the large rock formation, they all back up when a large metal gorilla breaks the tree line and pounds the Earth beneath him. He roars loudly and hits his fists against his chest, his voice comes out both animalistic and mechanical.
