𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐈𝐑𝐄 𝐆𝐑𝐎𝐔𝐏 𝐖𝐀𝐒 𝐑𝐔𝐍𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆. Running away from the river, away from Mount Weather, and away from their food. But that didn't matter, because what use would food be if they were dead.

Raegan wanted to stop running. She wanted to catch her breath, and she wanted everything that had happened to be some sort of sick nightmare. She wanted to wake up in her cell, ready to be floated. She wanted to get the image of an unmoving Jasper Jordan out of her damn mind.

The thought of Jasper's bloody body had made bile crawl up her throat, and she stopped running. Raegan held onto a tree in an effort to take deep breaths in order to calm down her shaking body. She began to regret not sleeping the night before as Monty grabbed her arm and pulled her forward.

"Don't stop, you have to keep running." Monty murmured as he pulled Raegan along with him.

Raegan swallowed the urge to vomit as she nodded softly, her chest feeling like it was going to explode from the lack of oxygen. Monty let out a grunt as he tripped over a rock and fell to the ground, his hand still latched onto Raegan's arm, pulling her down with him.

She lifted her head and at the sight of a skeleton, she let out a gasp. Octavia grabbed her arm, trying to lift her up, as Finn did the same to Monty.

"Raegan, get up! We need to go! Come on, get up!" Octavia yelled as she pulled Raegan up, the older girl looking down at the skeleton in horror.

"What the fuck is that?" Raegan cried out, her voice breaking as she stumbled back into Octavia. Her words had directed everyone's attention to the bones lying on the ground.

"Who are they?" Finn questioned as Raegan tried to take deep breaths in an effort to keep herself sane.

Clarke picked up a deformed skull and looked up at the others in horror. "What are they?"

"We are so screwed." Octavia replied, her voice shaking, as she kept one arm around Raegan in an effort to keep herself upright.

Raegan looked back in horror when she heard a blood curdling scream, as her breathing became more rapid and uneven.

"Oh my god. That's Jasper." Raegan whispered in horror as she took steps back away from the group, only to fall back down to the ground. Monty grabbed her arm and pulled her back up, interlocking their arms in an effort to keep Raegan from collapsing.

"She's right. Jasper. He's alive." Clarke muttered before running off in the direction of the scream.

"Clarke, wait. Wait!" Finn yelled as he tried to grab her arm before following her in the direction she was headed.

Monty kept his and Raegan's arms interlocked, much to her relief, as the two of them and Octavia followed after Finn and Clarke.

"Wait! Stay out of the trees." Finn stated as he grabbed Clarke's arm in an effort to make sure that she doesn't go out into the open.

"He was right there." Raegan choked out as she pointed to the dropped sign on the other side of the river.

"No. Where is he?" Monty questioned, his voice laced with worry.

"They took him." Clarke replied in horror.

Raegan let out a choked sound as she covered her mouth in horror at Clarke's words. This was turning out to be one fucking nightmare after the other.

"Wells!" Clarke yelled when she saw that he had put a knife against Murphy's throat. She walked up towards the two and looked at the scene in horror. "Let him go!"

Wells pulled the knife away and pushed Murphy to the ground, who lunged at him before Bellamy grabbed Murphy and pulled him back.

"Woah, hey! Enough, Murphy." Bellamy said to Murphy before turning his gaze to Octavia whose arms were around Monty and Raegan and was being carried slightly by them. "Octavia. Are you alright?"

          "Yeah." Octavia replied.

Bellamy walked up to her and held on to her waist, in an effort to keep his sister upright before looking around. "Where's the food?"

Raegan went to unlink Monty's arm from hers, before she stumbled back and almost fell over. Monty reached out to grab her which she swatted away. She took a deep breath before looking behind, thankful that they were not followed by whatever took Jasper.

"We didn't make it to Mount Weather." Finn explained as he sat down on a rock.

"What the hell happened out there?" Bellamy questioned angrily, taking in Octavia's injury.

"We were attacked." Clarke replied, her voice laced with worry.

"Attacked? By what?" Wells questioned, his brows furrowed in confusion.

          "Not what. Who." Finn replied.

"It turns out, when the last man from the ground died on the Ark, he wasn't the last grounder." Raegan snapped.

"It's true. Everything we thought we knew about the ground is wrong. There are people here, survivors. The good news is, that means we can survive. Radiation won't kill us." Clarke explained.

"Yeah, but the bad news is the fucking grounders will." Reagan muttered, her head pounding from pain and exhaustion.

"Where's the kid with the goggles?" Wells asked, almost fearful of the answer, as he realized that one person in the group was missing.

"His name is Jasper." Raegan sneered as she glared at Wells.

"Jasper was hit. They took him." Clarke replied softly, her eyes darting to the ground in grief. Her gaze fell to Wells' wrist and grabbed it, realizing something was wrong. "Where's your wristband?"

"Ask him." Wells replied bitterly as he gestured to Bellamy.

          "How many?" Clarke questioned angrily.

"Twenty-four and counting." Murphy answered for Bellamy, a small smirk painting his face. Raegan scoffed at the stupidity of the delinquents as Clarke looked around in disbelief.

"You idiots. Life support on the Ark is failing. That's why they brought us down here. They need to know that the ground is survivable again, and we need their help against whoever is out there. If you take off your wristbands, you're not just killing them. You're killing us!" Clarke explained, her words having an effect on the delinquents. Raegan gave her a small smile which wiped off when Bellamy began to speak.

"We're stronger than you think. Don't listen to her. She's one of the privileged. If they come down, she'll have it good. How many of you can say the same? We can take care of ourselves. That wristband on your arm? It makes you a prisoner. We are not prisoners anymore! They say they'll forgive your crimes. I say you are not criminals! You're fighters, survivors! The grounders should worry about us!" Bellamy yelled, his words resonating with the delinquents more than Clarke's.

"Yeah!" The delinquents cheered, leading Bellamy to smirk in victory.

Clarke walked away as she shook her head in disbelief. Monty grabbed Raegan's arm and pulled her in the direction Clarke was walking in, the two of them quickly catching up to the blonde girl.

"What do we do now, Griffin?" Raegan questioned as she looked back at Bellamy.

"Now we go after Jasper." Clarke replied.

.: ⋆*・゚: .⋆

Raegan leaned against one of the seats in the drop ship as she watched Clarke collect supplies. She played with the sleeves of her jacket as her eyes carefully watched what Clarke was doing.

"You probably want to bring some of the safety straps. In case we need like rope or something." Raegan suggested, causing Clarke to look up. "But, only if you think it's necessary."

"No, I think you're right." Clarke replied as she grabbed one of the safety straps and began cutting it off of the seat.

"So Griffin, your search party for Jasper. Am I in it?" Raegan asked, her arms crossed against her chest. "I mean it's fine if I'm not, but I don't think I can deal with those idiots who want to take off their wristbands for much longer."

"Of course you're in it, Raegan. We could definitely use you on the search party." Clarke replied.

"Thank you." Raegan replied and Clarke looked back at her, her brows furrowed in surprise, before turning her attention back onto the straps.

"I'm sorry, Raegan." Clarke murmured as she finished cutting the straps off of one of the seats. Seeing Raegan's look of confusion, she elaborated. "I'm sorry for thinking you weren't a good person, especially after you punched Dax. I heard your conversation with Monty, and I am sorry for believing the horror stories. They aren't true. They don't really know you."

"You don't really know me either, Griffin." Raegan replied roughly, although her eyes softened at Clarke's words.

"No, I don't. But I do know that you aren't anything like what they say." Clarke countered as she put the safety straps into her bag along with a map.

"There you are. When my father said they didn't leave us anything, he really meant it." Wells stated as he walked into the upper level of the dropship.

"I'm going to go outside." Raegan muttered, climbing the ladder and going down into the lower level where Monty was, in order to give Clarke and Wells privacy.

"Hey, Monty, you know we'll find him right?" Raegan questioned, carefully studying Monty's facial expressions.

He nodded, although Raegan noted the tears that were welling up in his eyes. The two of them glanced at the ladder when they heard Clarke and Wells climbing down.

"Good. Give it to someone else. You're not coming with us." Clarke stated.

          "My ankle's fine." Wells replied.

"It's not your ankle, Wells, it's you." Clarke retorted. Raegan snickered at Clarke's reply softly, causing Wells to glare at her.

"You came back for reinforcements. I'm gonna help." Wells insisted.

"Clarke, he's right. We need him." Monty said as he and Raegan walked up to Clarke. "So far no one else has volunteered."

"I'm sorry, Monty, but you're not going, either." Clarke responded.

"Like hell I'm not. Jasper's my best friend." Monty insisted.

"You're too important. You were raised on Farm Station and recruited by Engineering." Clarke replied.

          "So?" Monty questioned.

Raegan understood what Clarke was saying. "I get it. Food and communication, Monty. Food and communication."

"What's up here," Clarke gestured to Monty's head. "It's going to save us all. You figure out how to talk to the Ark and I'll bring Jasper back." Monty nodded at Clarke's words as Clarke turned around and saw Finn.

          "Hey. You ready?" Clarke asked.

"I'm not going anywhere, and neither should any of you. That spear was thrown with pinpoint accuracy from three hundred feet." Finn replied.

"So what, we let Jasper die?" Monty asked angrily.

"Of course not." Raegan assured Monty before glaring at Finn.

"That's not going to happen." Clarke reassured Monty before turning back to face Finn. "Spacewalker? What a joke. You think you're such an adventurer. You're really just a coward."

"It's not an adventure, Clarke, it's a suicide mission." Finn retorted.

Clarke just shook her head in disappointment before she walked away. Raegan glared at Finn once more before following Clarke out, before stopping when she saw Clarke head towards Bellamy and Octavia.

"Griffin. Please tell me you don't want the older one." Raegan muttered glaring at the back of Bellamy's head.

Clarke gave her an apologetic look. "Sorry. He has a gun and I think we need that."

Raegan sighed before nodding stiffly. "Fine, but only because I want to save Jasper." The two of them made their way towards the siblings, with Wells right behind them.

"You could have been killed." Bellamy said to Octavia as he tied a piece of cloth around the bite on her leg.

"She would have been if Jasper didn't jump in to pull her out." Clarke interjected as she walked towards Bellamy with Raegan and Wells behind her.

"You guys leaving? I'm coming, too." Octavia said as she attempted to stand up.

"No, no. No way. Not again." Bellamy said as he stood up and put an arm on Octavia's shoulder.

"He's right. Your leg's just going to slow us down. I'm here for you." Clarke said to Bellamy as he looked between her and Raegan, who was looking at him in annoyance.

"Clarke, what are you doing?" Wells asked, clearly in shock.

Clarke gestured to herself and Raegan. "We hear you have a gun." Bellamy lifted his shirt slightly to reveal the gun, causing Raegan to scoff softly.

"If you want to make the Ark think we're dead, why don't you use the gun to kill us? That way the Ark will think we're dead because we are fucking dead." Raegan asked, rolling her eyes.

"Because I'm not a murderer." Bellamy retorted, glaring at Raegan, who just shrugged.

"I'm sorry, was that you trying to insult me? Because you failed miserably. And you are a murderer. You're as good as killing us because we can't get any help from the Ark and you are killing them from lack of oxygen. So you're the murderer here. Not me." Raegan sneered at Bellamy before Clarke pulled Raegan behind her.

"Good. Follow me." Clarke replied as she started to walk away.

"And why would I do that?" Bellamy questioned as he turned to face Clarke.

"Because you want them," The blonde gestured to the delinquents. "To follow you, and right now, they're thinking only one of us is scared." Clarke whispered before walking away, followed by Wells.

"Murphy. Come with me. Atom? My sister doesn't leave this camp. Is that clear?" Bellamy ordered.

"Wow. You're more controlling than an over-jealous boyfriend who thinks his girlfriend is going to cheat on him with everyone." Raegan snickered, causing Bellamy to glare at her.

Octavia smiled at Raegan's statement before turning angry once again. "I don't need a babysitter."

"Anybody touches her, they answer to me." Bellamy said threateningly, ignoring his sister. "Let's go."

Octavia attempted to walk after him but Raegan stopped her. "Your brother's little bitch won't let you leave. How about you make his life a living hell and make him regret being your brother's bitch?" Raegan gave her a smirk before walking after Bellamy and catching up to Clarke and Wells.

"I got worried when I couldn't see you." Clarke said, giving Raegan a smile. "What were you doing?"

Raegan smirked. "Let's just say that Octavia will make Atom regret being Blake's little bitch." Her words had caused Clarke to let out a small laugh.

.: ⋆*・゚: .⋆

"Hey, hold up. What's the rush? You don't survive a spear to the heart." Bellamy called out as he pulled out his gun with a small smirk on his face.

"Put the gun away, Bellamy." Wells ordered as he walked up to Bellamy's face.

"Well, why don't you do something about it, huh?" Murphy taunted as he pushed Wells back.

"Jasper screamed when they moved him. If the spear struck his heart, he would have died instantly. It doesn't mean we have time to waste." Clarke replied as she turned to walk away.

Bellamy grabbed Clarke's arm with a small smirk as he spoke. "As soon as you take this wristband off, we can go."

"Let her go, Blake." Raegan snapped angrily as she stepped towards the two, before pulling Clarke's arm out of Bellamy's grip.

"Well, what do you know? The Princess and the murder's daughter are friends. What are you going to do? Kill us?" Murphy taunted, his words causing Raegan to clench her fist, and before anyone could stop her, she punched Murphy square in the jaw. He stumbled back in surprise before lunging at the girl, only to be held back by Bellamy.

"Cmon', Bellamy, let me just teach that crazy bitch a lesson." Murphy muttered as Bellamy stood between him and Raegan.

"Do it on your own time Murphy, not right now." Bellamy replied as he turned to face Raegan and Clarke.

"Fuck off, Blake." Raegan muttered as she glared at both him and Murphy.

"The only way the Ark is going to think I'm dead is if I'm dead. Got it?" Clarke questioned as she raised an eyebrow and took a step back, pulling Raegan back with her.

"Brave Princess." Bellamy replied with a smirk, his eyes glancing from Clarke to Raegan.

"Hey, why don't you find your own nickname?" A familiar voice questioned.

"Finn." Raegan muttered in shock as she shared a surprised look with Clarke.

"You call this a rescue party?" Finn questioned as he approached the group. "Got to split up. Cover more ground. Clarke, come with me. Wells, you're with Murphy and Raegan with Bellamy."

Clarke shot Raegan an apologetic look as she walked behind Finn, mouthing I'm sorry under her breath.

"Collins, I have never hated you more." Raegan muttered under her breath.

.: ⋆*・゚: .⋆

"Guess we got more in common than meets the eye, huh?" Bellamy questioned, his words directed to Wells.

"We have nothing in common." Wells replied, tearing his gaze from Clarke and Finn.

"No? Both came down here to protect someone we love." Bellamy replied, causing Raegan to scoff softly. Despite not being a fan of Bellamy, choosing to hate him instead, she had to admit that he wasn't wrong. "Your secret's safe with me. 'Course, for you it's worse. With Finn around, Clarke doesn't even see you. It's like you're not even here."

Raegan rolled her eyes at his second sentence, knowing that he was partially correct, but also knowing that Clarke's resistance towards Wells' presence was more due to the fact that he turned her dad in, resulting in him getting floated. She narrowed her eyes as Bellamy walked up to her, a smug look plastered on his face.

"I come here in peace, Spitfire." Bellamy replied at the sight of her glare, putting his hands up in a show of peace.

Raegan scoffed before crossing her arms over her chest. "Don't call me that." Her voice was cold, but Bellamy heard the small break in her voice, choosing not to speak on it.

"So, Spitfire, why did you set that fire?" Bellamy asked, as he raised his eyebrow.

"Please. Why do you want to know?" Raegan retorted as she rolled her eyes.

"Can't a guy be curious?" Bellamy questioned as he let out a sigh. "Why do you hate me so much? What did I ever do to you?"

Raegan scoffed, turning around to face Bellamy, annoyance evident on her face. "Tell me something Blake. Were you ever pissed off or mad at the person who arrested your sister or floated your mom?"

"Yes but — " Bellamy started to say before Raegan cut him off.

"And there is the answer to your question, Blake." Raegan replied.

          "That's different." Bellamy objected.

"Is it? Your sister was arrested and your mom was floated, leaving you all alone. I was the last person who my dad and Myra cared about and they both lost me. I don't hate you for arresting me Blake. Well, I mean I do, but not as much as I hate you for being the reason my dad is all alone. Oh, and by the way, you won't be able to get my wristband off. And if you even try to get Clarke's off, I will make sure you regret it." Raegan said angrily, her eyes wild with fury, before walking towards Clarke and Finn. "Sorry if I'm intruding. Unless you want a dead Bellamy Blake, I think I should be as far away from him as possible."

"Yeah, sorry about that. But I put you with him because I was sure you would be able to put him in his place." Finn replied as he gave Raegan an apologetic look.

Raegan nodded. "Oh I did. I told him that if he even tried to take Clarke's wristband, I would personally make sure he regretted it." At her words, Clarke gave Raegan a small smile.

.: ⋆*・゚: .⋆

"Hey, how do we know this is the right way?" Murphy questioned as they followed Finn, after Clarke and Finn had found Jasper's goggles.

"We don't." Bellamy replied. "Spacewalker thinks he's a tracker."

"Unless you both want a punch to a spot that will make you keel over in pain, I highly suggest you shut up." Raegan threatened, causing Bellamy to smirk in amusement.

"It's called 'cutting sign'. Fourth-year earth skills. He's good." Wells replied.

"You want to keep it down or should I paint a target on your backs?" Finn questioned.

Raegan snorted quietly in amusement to which Bellamy sent her a glare. She shivered slightly, and had the unnerving feeling of someone watching her. She looked behind her, thankful she couldn't see anyone, although the feeling didn't go away.

Finn knelt down, and Clarke joined him, both of them looking at the ground and exchanging glances.

"See? You're invisible." Bellamy whispered to Wells, who in reply, glared at the older man.

The sound of a distant, loud groan of pain made Raegan's head snap up and look in the direction of the sound.

"What the hell was that?" Murphy questioned as he tightened his grip on the knife in his hand.

"That was probably Jasper." Raegan replied, her voice shaking in horror.

"Now would be a good time to take out that gun." Clarke muttered to Bellamy before they all quickly made their way towards the direction the sound was coming from. They stopped when they came into a small clearing, horrified by what they saw.

Jasper was tied to a tree, his wound causing him unbearable pain, and blood dripping from scars that were inflicted by the grounders.

"Jasper. Oh, my god." Clarke said in horror as she and the rest of the group walked towards the tree Jasper was tied to.

"What the hell is this?" Bellamy questioned, keeping his gaze on Jasper, as he put his gun back, tucked into the waistband of his pants.

"Torture." Raegan replied in horror of the sight she was seeing. Bile rose up her throat again, and she fought the urge to vomit and run back to the dropship.

Suddenly, Clarke stepped on a covered up trap and the ground underneath her collapsed. Bellamy grabbed her arm as Clarke was dangling between life and death by the spikes on the bottom of the pit.

"Clarke! Get her up!" Finn yelled as Raegan followed Bellamy's gaze to Clarke's wristband and remembered the blonde's words.

"The only way the Ark is going to think I'm dead is if I'm dead."

"Blake, pull her up." Raegan yelled to Bellamy, realizing that he was considering letting go of Clarke's arm and dropping her down to her death.

Raegan kneeled next to Bellamy and gripped Clarke's arm, bringing him out of his thoughts. Murphy grabbed onto Raegan's arm and helped her pull Clarke up, while Finn gripped Bellamy's arm, and Wells was holding onto both of them. The five of them together pulled Clarke out of the pit, and the blonde panted as she caught her breath.

"You okay?" Finn questioned, looking at Clarke in worry.

"Yeah." Clarke replied, swallowing thickly as she looked down at the pit.

"Congrats on your near death experience." Raegan muttered as she shot Bellamy a glare, sure that he would have dropped Clarke to her death if Raegan had not intervened.

Clarke nodded before she turned her gaze back to Jasper. "We need to get him down."

"I'll climb up there and cut the vines." Finn replied as he walked towards the tree.

"Yeah, yeah, I'm with you." Wells agreed as he began walking towards Finn.

"No. Stay with Clarke." Finn said to Wells, before he turned towards Raegan and gestured to Bellamy. "And watch him."

Raegan nodded, realizing that Finn noticed that Bellamy was considering dropping Clarke to her death as well.

"You. Let's go." Finn gestured to Murphy, who walked towards the tree with him.

"There's a poultice on his wound." Clarke muttered in confusion.

"What's a poultice?" Raegan questioned, taking in the green substance on Jasper's chest.

"It's a medicine that's applied to the body to relieve soreness and inflammation." Clarke replied.

"Medicine? Why would they save his life just to string him up as live bait?" Wells questioned.

"Maybe what they're trying to catch likes it's dinner to be breathing." Bellamy responded.

"Maybe what they're trying to catch is us." Finn replied.

.: ⋆*・゚: .⋆

"Hurry up, Murphy." Finn muttered as he cut the vines to get Jasper free.

          "Be careful." Clarke called out.

At the sound of a growl, Raegan looked around in worry. "What the fuck was that?" Her words caught the attention of the others, who looked at each other warily at the sound.

"What the hell was that?" Murphy questioned as he looked down from the tree.

"Grounders?" Bellamy questioned as he looked around.

"Maybe it's an animal?" Raegan offered as she took a defensive stance. As soon as a black panther came into her field of vision she groaned. "Of course it's the largest animal possible."

At the sound of its snarls and the sight of it coming towards them at a worrying speed, Clarke turned towards Bellamy. "Bellamy, gun!"

Raegan watched as Bellamy reached for his gun but found that it wasn't there. "Where's your damn gun Blake?" She asked angrily before she heard gunfire. She looked up and saw Wells with a gun in his hand, shooting at the panther.

It fell into the plants and once the plants stopped moving, Raegan went near them to make sure that it was dead. She let out a gasp when she heard it roar and suddenly lunged towards her.

Raegan let out a groan as Bellamy pushed her to the ground, the weight of his body crushing her. She watched as Wells shot the panther again and it fell. It was still growling and moving, although just barely.

Wells pulled the trigger again only to find that all the bullets were used, before dropping the gun. Bellamy got up from the ground and off of Raegan's body and offered his hand to her. She looked at it but didn't take it, instead pushing herself up and walked toward Clarke.

"Now she sees you." Bellamy said with a nod as he looked at Wells.

.: ⋆*・゚: .⋆

"So, Spitfire, I saved your life. Don't I get a thanks?" Bellamy questioned, smirking when Raegan sighed and turned to face him. She raised an eyebrow at him, questioning his words. "I guess you can thank me by getting rid of your wristband."

Raegan scowled as she clutched her necklace tightly. "You're a sick bastard, Blake. You want my wristband right? Then you should have let that animal kill me. Killing me is the only way you were going to get the Ark to think I'm dead."

"Don't be like that." Bellamy replied, taking in Raegan's rigid form.

"Don't be like what? Be mad at you because you are an egotistical bastard who is as good as killing people I love who are the Ark. Go float yourself, Bellamy. Just stay away from me." Raegan said acidly before she walked towards Clarke, who was in deep thought. The blonde turned towards her and gave her a small smile.

"What happened?" Clarke asked Raegan once she noticed the distress on Raegan's face.

"Bellamy Blake is a sick bastard. He saved my life and the way he wanted me to thank him was by taking off my wristband. I told him that if that was what he wanted then he should have just let the animal kill me." Raegan told Clarke angrily, her fists clenched and her nails digging into her skin.

"Is he — " Monty asked Clarke at the sight of Wells and Finn carrying an unconscious Jasper into the dropship.

"He's alive. I need boiled water and strips of cloth for bandage." Clarke replied.

Wells and Finn carried Jasper into the drop ship while Raegan and Monty went to get Clarke what she needed. Once they gave it to her, the two sat down on a log and looked at the other delinquents who were taking off their wristbands for food.

"Why are they doing that?" Monty asked in disgust. "Eating's a right not a privilege. I won't do it. I won't take my wristband off. My family needs to know that I'm alive and that Earth is survivable."

"Don't worry Monty. You won't have to." Raegan reassured him as she squeezed his shoulder softly.

Raegan stood up and Monty attempted to stop her by grabbing her arm. He shook his head and she gave him a small smile before removing her arm out of his grip. She walked over to the fire where the delinquents were taking off their wristbands.

"What are you here for, Spitfire?" Bellamy asked with a smug look, his eyes trailing down her body.

Raegan ignored him and took two pieces of the panther meat, before Murphy grabbed her wrist and held on to it with a tight grip.

"Looks like this one thinks she's special." Murphy said tauntingly, looking her up and down in judgment.

"Let me go, Murphy, and maybe you don't have to get punched by me twice in one day." Raegan muttered before pulling her arm out of Murphy's tight grip.

"Murphy, let her go. Why two pieces though?" Bellamy asked, looking at the two pieces of food in Raegan's hands questioningly.

"One for me. One for my friend who has a family up there." Raegan said as she glared at Bellamy, not forgetting what he had said on the way back.

She raised an eyebrow to see if anyone would retaliate. When no one did, she took both pieces of meat and handed one to Monty.

"Thanks. And you still got to keep your wristband?" Monty asked as he took a bite of the meat.

Raegan nodded. "Yeah. Guess that's the only good thing that came out of being a murderer's daughter. You know Monty, if they get to know me well enough, they'll realize that I'm not my mother's daughter."
