Raegan entered their quarters with a smile, which soon fell off at the sound of her parents arguing again in their room. She sighed softly before sitting at the table, waiting for the argument to finish.
"Allison, you need to calm down. Yelling is not going to take you off suspension." Mason muttered in an effort to calm his erratic wife.
"No, Mason, you think I can keep working like this? I can't, okay, I can't. Have Abby try to deal with losing six patients from illness. Anyone will lose their fucking mind." Allison replied angrily.
"It's not ideal, but you can't show up to work wasted. You could get floated for that." Mason countered as he caressed Allison's face. "Where did you get the moonshine, Allie?"
Allison scoffed in disbelief as she pushed Mason's hands away. "I got it from Nygel, okay?"
"Nygel?" Mason questioned angrily as he grabbed Allison's hands. "What'd you trade in to get moonshine from Nygel?"
"It was something of Raegan's. Maybe a bracelet, the one you got her for her birthday. I don't remember." Allison replied as she tore her hands away from Mason.
"Raegan's bracelet? You can't trade in our daughter's stuff for moonshine." Mason spat out angrily.
"You think I don't know that. I was just so desperate and that was the only thing of value I could find." Allison cried out before she left the room and walked into the main area, a smile appearing at the sight of her daughter. "Hi my little spitfire, how was school?"
"Are you and Dad fighting again?" Raegan questioned with a small frown.
Allison shook her head as she caressed Raegan's cheek. "No, Spitfire, we were just having a small disagreement, that's all. I am really sorry about your bracelet. I'll make sure to get it back for you."
"Okay, Mom. Also, in school, I made you and Dad a drawing. Want to see?" Raegan questioned, smiling as her mom nodded.

Raegan watched with a smile as Myra slept peacefully, having woken up due to a nightmare a couple minutes prior. The sight of blood and the sound of screams were things that she'd seen every night since she was twelve, the nightmares only getting worse with everything they'd seen on Earth.
"Spitfire?" Bellamy called out as he climbed up the ladder of the dropship, his eyes meeting Raegan's as she quickly climbed down the ladder and pulled Bellamy outside the dropship. "You're up? So's Clarke."
"What happened, Blake? Did another pod come down? Maybe with another radio? Did you destroy that one too?" Raegan questioned snarkily, causing Bellamy to scoff in annoyance.
"I told Clarke this too. Raven and Myra's flares will work." Bellamy replied calmly.
"Who are you trying to convince? Me or yourself?" Raegan muttered before shaking her head. "What do you want, Blake? What's so important that you're waking me up before dawn?"
"You weren't asleep." Bellamy retorted as he glanced back at the tent.
"Yeah, but Myra is." Raegan replied as she rolled her eyes.
"Octavia. Have you seen her?" Bellamy questioned, causing Raegan to shake her head.
"Not since the pod came down, no." Raegan replied, frowning softly.
"No one's seen her since then either. She's not anywhere in camp. Clarke's helping me check again. She's going through the tents." Bellamy explained as he sighed in worry.
"She's not in the dropship, I would've seen her. Besides, it's Octavia, where could she have gone? She's not going to stray too far out of camp. And even if she did, she'll be fine. She's strong." Raegan replied with a shrug.
Clarke walked towards the dropship, giving Bellamy a look of worry. "She isn't in any of the tents. Is she in the dropship?"
Bellamy closed his eyes and shook his head. "No, she isn't. I need to organize a search party."
"So now he's willing to organize a search party for his sister, but not for the pod, and not for Jasper." Raegan muttered in disbelief, scoffing at his antics.
"Your dad will be fine, don't worry." Clarke whispered as she gave Raegan a knowing look, understanding where her worry came from.
"Maybe, but we wouldn't be in this situation if Bellamy hand't trashed the radio. We'd have a better chance of three hundred people being alive if he didn't." Raegan retorted as she shook her head in annoyance.
"Clarke's right. You have to be an optimist. You can't think that he's going to die. You have to truly believe that he's going to be okay. Besides, if you think Sinclair, the very same guy who overrode the Council's decision to fire you dad and made the decision to make Raven a Zero–G mechanic despite her heart murmur, is going to let Uncle Mason die, you would have no brain." Myra replied as she stepped out of the dropship, giving Clarke and Raegan a small smile.
"Fair enough." Raegan muttered before frowning. "What are you doing up? You need some rest."
"Don't worry about it. I've been up since Bellamy came to find you. And rest is a thing of the past. Especially now that we are on the ground." Myra replied.
Raegan nodded at her words, understanding exactly what she meant.
.: ⋆*・゚: .⋆
"Hey, everybody, gather around and grab a weapon. My sister's been out there alone for twelve hours. Arm up. We're not coming back without her." Bellamy announced as he placed all the weapons in the middle of the camp, with Raegan watching with a look of disbelief. Myra grabbed a knife, tossing it in the air before skillfully catching it as she threw Raegan a smug look.
"Raegan, come on, grab a weapon." Myra called out as she gave her friend a giddy look.
"I still can't believe how quickly he organized a search party for Octavia but dragged out looking for Jasper and saving his life." Raegan muttered as she looked through the weapons.
"Well, that was at first. Hopefully he had personality development." Myra replied as she pulled a knife out of her own pocket and handed it to Raegan, smirking once she caught Raegan's shocked look. "You think I would come down to Earth without a weapon?"
"The only personality development he went through was gaining an even larger sense of self." Raegan retorted. "But I want her to be found. She's a good kid. Sweet, funny, a little clueless at social cues, but a good kid nonetheless."
"She's only a year younger than you." Myra replied with a frown as she balanced the knife in her hand.
"Hey, Jasper, you don't have to do this. You haven't left camp since we brought you back." Clarke explained as she stopped Jasper from approaching the weapons.
"Clarke, I need to do this." Jasper whispered in response.
"Octavia would understand if you didn't come." Raegan added.
"I know, Raegan. But, I need to do this." Jasper answered as Bellamy joined the group as he crossed his arms.
"We need all the people we can get. We also need a tracker. Finn get out here." Bellamy called out, causing both Myra and Raegan to exchange uneasy glances.
"If we're bringing Finn, can I not come?" Myra questioned as she glanced back at Bellamy. "You can just take Raegan instead. I cannot be around him."
"No she can't. She'll pull a me." Raegan added with a smirk.
"A you?" Bellamy questioned as he looked between Raegan and Myra.
"She'll punch him, like I punched you." Raegan retorted, a smug look appearing on her face as Bellamy rolled his eyes.
"Finn, we're leaving." Bellamy called out once more.
"All right. I'm coming." Finn called out as he left the tent and made a beeline to Clarke. As soon as he pulled Clarke back, both Raegan and Myra exchanged a look of annoyance as they began gathering supplies for their search party.
"He didn't tell Raven, did he?" Raegan questioned softly as she glanced back at Finn.
"Nope, I don't think so. If he doesn't tell her by sundown today, I will." Myra replied as she clenched her fist, having a few choice words for Raven's boyfriend.
"Hopefully, she'll be okay, but she's more than likely not going to be okay. I'm scared to see how much it'll affect her." Raegan added as she squeezed Myra's shoulder in reassurance.
"She was there for me, you know, after you got arrested. I was there for her after Finn got arrested, she's like my platonic soulmate. Like I love her so much, it hurts, and I can't bear to see her in pain." Myra explained as she took a deep breath.
"Guys, guys. Come here!" Jones exclaimed, causing Raegan and Myra to exchange glances of confusion before quickly making their way over to where most of the delinquents were standing.
"Look up there." Jones called out as he pointed to the sky.
"Did you see that?" Fox questioned with a smile as she glanced around.
"It's so beautiful." Roma muttered as she stared at the sky.
Raegan blanched in horror as she realized what the meteors actually were. She'd read about how bodies from space looked on Earth. This must be how it looks. The 'meteors' being the dead. A funeral. It was a funeral for the three hundred people culled on the Ark.
"They didn't work." Myra muttered as she stumbled back in horror.
"They didn't see the flares." Raven added hopelessly, her voice broken.
"They're right. The flares were not seen in time." Raegan replied in a slightly shaky voice.
"A meteor shower tells you both that?" Bellamy asked in disbelief.
"It's not a meteor shower. It's a funeral. Hundreds of bodies being returned to the Earth from the Ark. This is what it looks like from the other side. They didn't get our message." Clarke explained, Bellamy to look down guiltily.
Raegan clenched her fist and lunged towards Bellamy, nearly landing a hit on his face if Myra hadn't pulled her back.
"You son of a bitch! You bastard!" Raegan spat out loudly as Bellamy looked away. "You killed three hundred innocent people. Three hundred people who didn't have to die. Three hundred people who could have lived if you hadn't destroyed the fucking radio. Three hundred husbands, wives, fathers, mothers, brothers, sisters, sons, and daughters are dead. The blood of three hundred people are on your hands Blake. Three hundred people!"
"This is all because of you!" Raven yelled angrily as she stepped towards Bellamy, causing both Clarke and Finn to grab her arms and pull her back. Myra exchanged a look with Clarke as Raegan and Raven both pulled themselves out of the other's grip.
"I helped you find the radio." Bellamy countered with a scoff.
"Yeah, after you jacked it from our pod and trashed it!" Raven replied angrily as she glared at Bellamy.
"Yeah, he knows. Now he has to live with it." Clarke stated firmly as she gave Bellamy a look.
"All I know is that my sister is out there and I'm going to find her. You coming or what?" Bellamy questioned after he tore his gaze from the sky. Finn nodded in reply as he turned to face Raven.
"Again with Octavia! You think that you need to save her because she needs saving. That's not true! You save her because you need to feel like you are the hero. Like you protect all of us. Let me just tell you something, Blake. You have just killed us all." Raegan sneered as Myra grabbed her hand in an effort to cool down her anger.
"What are we waiting for? Move out!" Bellamy ordered as he glared at Raegan. "Spitfire, are you coming?"
Raegan exchanged a look with Myra, whose eyes widened at the nickname, before nodding. "Yeah, I'm coming. Give me a minute." Raegan replied, causing Bellamy to nod and walk away.
"We have to talk to them. Three hundred won't be enough. The oxygen level will just keep dropping. And if we don't tell them that they can survive down here, They'll kill more people. They have to." Clarke explained as she kept her gaze to the sky.
"Guys — They're leaving. We gotta go." Jasper stated. Raegan nodded as she squeezed Myra's hand softly before making her way towards Jasper.
"I gotta do this." Finn muttered as Raven grabbed his arm to stop him. "And you should stay and fix the radio, ok?"
"Fix it? The transmitter's smashed. Unless there's a parts depot down here, we're not talking to the Ark." Raven explained.
"Art supply store." Clarke muttered vaguely, realization hitting both of them. Raven glanced behind Finn towards Raegan who shrugged in response. Neither one of them had mentioned an 'art supply store' to her. "I know a place you might be able to get a transmitter."
"Great. It looks like you and Myra are coming with me instead." Raven stated as she looked between Clarke and Finn in confusion.
"Raegan, stay safe, okay?" Myra muttered as she pulled Raegan into a hug.
"You got it." Raegan replied as the two of them separated.
"Finn? We're not going to find her without you." Jasper called out softly.
"Be careful." Finn said as he looked between Clarke and Raven.
"Hey." Raven called out as she grabbed his arm. She pressed her lips to his, and pulled him into a kiss, causing Clarke to look away. "I love you."
Raegan watched in disbelief as Finn took longer than he should have to reply before he turned around, joining Jasper and Raegan as they made their way out of camp.
.: ⋆*・゚: .⋆
The sun still hadn't risen as the search party made their way through the forest. Raegan shook off the feeling of discomfort, the last time she was in the forest during the night, Charlotte killed herself.
Bellamy turned his head to glance at her, watching carefully as she played with her knife quietly as she glared at Finn whenever he turned to look at her.
"What happened?" Bellamy questioned roughly, his voice barely above a whisper, causing Raegan to turn and face him.
"Collins' just being a dick." Raegan answered shortly, speeding up in order to put some distance between herself and the two people she didn't feel like interacting with.
"Look! Over here!" John Mbege called out, his voice prompting everyone in the ground to join him at the top of the hill, looking down where he pointed.
"What is it?" Bellamy questioned as he strained his eyes in an effort to see what Mbege was pointing at.
"Right there. You see it?" Mbege questioned as he pointed at the belt stuck in the branches of a bush. "Is that Octavia's?"
Bellamy chose not to reply and instead help out his hand. "Rope."
As soon as Raegan handed Bellamy the rope, he began securing it to a tree, much to Finn's confusion.
"What are you doing?" Finn questioned as looked at Bellamy before glancing at the rope in confusion.
"We need the rope to get back up." Raegan explained as Bellamy threw the rope down.
"She's right. Flashlight." Bellamy requested as he held his hand out, taking Mbege's flashlight before he quickly climbed down and grabbed the object out of the bush. "It's hers. I'm going all the way down."
His words had prompted Jasper to hand his torch to Finn before making his way down to the bottom of the hill. Raegan sighed heavily before following both of them, climbing down the hill, followed by Finn.
"That's blood." Raegan muttered as she kneeled next to Jasper and glanced at the red substance on the rock. "She probably hit her head on it."
"Someone else was here." Bellamy added, his tone getting harder at the thought of Octavia being in danger.
"The prints are deeper going that way. He was carrying her." Finn explained as he gestured to the footprints in the mud.
"If they took her, she's alive. Like when they took me." Jasper replied, causing Raegan to close her eyes before taking a deep breath, recalling the sight of Jasper being strung up on a tree.
"That's great." Raegan grumbled as she quickly stood up, gesturing for Finn to lead the way.
The walk was long and strenuous, filled with silence, not at Raegan was complaining. Jasper was too busy trying to get over his fear of the Grounders while Finn was leading the group, muttering words to himself as he attempted to track where the Grounders took Octavia, and Bellamy was too overcome with worry about Octavia to try to piss off Raegan by talking to her.
Raegan made sure to keep in the middle, keeping an even distance from those in the front and those in the back. Her mind had traveled to Raven and Myra, and if Myra had told Raven about her cheating boyfriend who couldn't keep it in his pants. She was pulled back to reality as she roughly collided into Bellamy's back as the group stopped in their tracks.
She glared at the back of Bellamy's head before her gaze moved to the sight in front of them. Skeletons hanging in the trees, the flesh rotting off their bones. Raegan watched with wary eyes as she fought the urge to vomit, the smell of death overtaking her senses.
Fear was something Raegan was well accustomed to feeling, the pure panic seeping into her bones as it overwhelmed her senses, but she had never let it control her. She'd fight the fear, knowing if she let her guard down for even a second, it would consume her very being and change her for the worse. She glanced around at the other delinquents, taking in their facial expressions as she tore her gaze from the skeletons.
"I don't speak grounder — but I'm pretty sure this means keep out." Finn muttered, bringing Raegan out of her thoughts, the sight of the skeletons prompting a chorus of delinquents muttering about how they wanted to go back.
"Go back if you want. My sister, my responsibility." Bellamy replied as he kept his gaze locked on the skeletons before passing the boundary line, stepping into Grounder territory. Raegan sighed softly as she glanced at the others in the group, having made her decision and wanting to see what others chose.
"I'd walk into hell to find her." Jasper said firmly as he quickly followed Bellamy. Raegan took a deep breath before following after Jasper, watching as Finn did the same.
"I think we just did." Finn replied as he glanced up at the skeletons.

Raegan watched Allison in confusion as her mother erratically searched through the drawers in the quarters and breathed a sigh of relief as she found what she was looking for, pocketing it quickly before she turned to face her daughter.
"Spitfire, your dad is working a little longer, so how about, you and me, we go get your bracelet back?" Allison questioned as she caressed Raegan's cheek.
"I don't need my bracelet back, Mom, it's okay." Raegan replied softly, causing Allison's caring expression to turn into one of anger.
"I told you, we are getting your bracelet back, that means we are doing it." Allison stated angrily as she dug her nails into Raegan's arm, causing the girl to wince.
Allison pulled her daughter by the arm, before making her way down the Ark, not a single person glancing at Allison in worry or suspicion. As they turned the corner to a more secluded area, they were met with the sight of a guard.
"Allison, how are you? It's Michael, if you didn't recognize me. My son is in your daughter's Earth Skills class." The guard, Michael, explained, causing Allison to give him a fake smile before her eyes flickered down to his gun.
"I am sorry about this, but I am doing what I need to do." Allison muttered before slamming Michael into the wall and pulling a scalpel out of her pocket, before she stabbed him in the neck.
She pressed her hand over his mouth to smother his screams, watching as life drained out of his eyes, before she pulled away from him and grabbed his gun.
Raegan watched the scene in front of her in horror as she wiped the liquid on her face. She let out a gasp of horror at the sight of blood on her hands, staring up at her mother in fear.
"Mom, what's going on? I'm scared." Raegan cried out as Allison grabbed her arm forcefully and pulled her in the direction she was headed.
"I told you, we're going to go get your bracelet back." Allison muttered as a sick smile spread across her face, one of her hands holding onto Raegan and the other a gun.
.: ⋆*・゚: .⋆
It felt like they had been walking around for ages. The sun had finally rinsen, indicating that most of them had been up for more than twenty four hours. However, Raegan, not having slept properly in a long time, felt as if the universe was laughing at her. Her steps were sluggish, and she took a deep breath as if to stabilize herself.
Raegan reached into her pocket and pulled out the rations which she had been slowly eating ever since they had passed the skeletons. She took a handful and slowly chewed on them, the food giving her a slight burst of energy.
"I got nothing." Finn explained as he sighed deeply, glancing at Bellamy as he did so. "We lost the trail."
"Keep looking." Bellamy ordered, unwilling to let his sister continue to be in danger. Raegan swayed lightly, stumbling back as she did, before meeting Monroe's worried gaze.
"Are you okay?" Monroe whispered, her voice soft enough so the others couldn't hear her.
"I'll be fine." Raegan muttered in response as she quickened her pace, watching her surroundings carefully.
"Wandering around aimlessly isn't the way to find your sister. We should backtrack — " Finn suggested, cutting himself off at the sight of Bellamy's glare.
"I'm not going back." Bellamy replied, his voice filled with desperation.
"Hey, where's John?" Roma questioned, looking around for the missing delinquent.
"He was here, where'd he go?" Raegan muttered, remembering when he had offered her a handful of his rations.
"I just saw him a second ago." Jasper added as looked around in slight panic.
"Spread out. He couldn't have gotten that far." Bellamy stated as he tightened his grip on his weapon.
Raegan jumped as she saw a body fall in front of her, gasping in horror as she recognized Mbege and seeing his throat slit. She took a step back, in an effort to put the sight out of her mind as she turned to face Bellamy and Finn in horror.
"They use the trees." Finn muttered as everyone glanced up, trying to see their enemies, although failing.
"We shouldn't have crossed the boundary." Diggs stated as he looked around in fear.
"Now can we go back?" Roma questioned as she glanced in Bellamy's direction.
"There." Jasper muttered as he pointed his spear in the direction of one of the Grounders.
"Another one." Diggs stated as he pointed in the opposite direction.
"There's too many of them to fight." Raegan explained as she grabbed her knife.
"We should run." Finn suggested, his words prompting everyone to turn on their heel and run in the one direction there weren't any Grounders in. Raegan craned her head to the left then to the right, cursing under her breath at the sight of the Grounders on either side of them.
Fear. That's all Raegan felt as she ran as fast as she could, clouding her mind and invading her senses. Having your focus drift for even a second could prove to be fatal, and the fear consuming her didn't help.
"Spitfire!" Bellamy's voice had pulled Raegan out of her thoughts before he pulled her back by her jacket, nearly choking her as he did so. She glanced to the side, eyes widening as she saw the trunk she would have run into, as she stumbled, still reeling from Bellamy's pull. He cursed under his breath before grabbing Raegan's arm and pulled her along, unwilling to leave her behind to die.
"What are we gonna do? They keep heading us off." Diggs called out as he panted, exhausted from the run.
"Just keep running." Finn called out, craning his head to look behind them for a split second before he quickened his pace.
"I can't run much longer!" Jasper yelled as he struggled to keep up, still healing from his brush with death.
"I'm not stopping for him!" Diggs replied as he sped up, not bothering to wait for anyone.
"I can't keep running." Raegan choked out as she quickly stopped and clutched her side in pain.
Bellamy stopped at her and Jasper's words, a dark look passing across his face as he pulled out his axe and turned his back towards the group. "I'm sick of running anyway."
"Hey, what are you doing?" Finn questioned as he stopped Bellamy by grabbing his arm, confusion painting his face.
"They know where she is." Bellamy replied as Raegan looked at the Grounders who were getting dangerously close.
Panic seeped through Roma's face as she looked around in terror, before running in the direction Diggs had gone. "Diggs, where are you?"
"Roma!" Diggs called out from a distance.
Raegan rolled her eyes at the sight of the Grounders coming closer, leaving the group with no choice but to run after Roma. The roots and rocks threatened to make Raegan stumble as the trees appeared out of nowhere after every turn. Roma's terrified scream had prompted them to run faster after her, all of them watching as Roma ran off again;
"Wait! Roma!" Bellamy yelled out, in an effort to stop the girl from running into more danger.
"There could be more!" Finn yelled as he grabbed Bellamy's arm in an effort to stop him from colliding into a trap. "Stop!"
The sight of Diggs' body sent chills down Raegan's spine and froze her blood. A human sized trap was what his body was hanging on, the spikes of the paddle embedding itself in his chest. Blood trickled from his mouth as his lifeless eyes stared into Raegan's.
"They were leading us here." Raegan muttered as she looked around in terror.
"She's right. It's the only direction we could run in." Jasper added, realization striking him as he exchanged a glance with Raegan.
"Wait." Finn muttered as he looked around warily, noting the silence that graced their ears for the first time. "Where'd they go?"
At the sound that came from the direction Roma had headed in, realization struck Bellamy.
"After Roma." Bellamy muttered as he ran in the direction Roma had gone, closely followed by the rest of the group.
.: ⋆*・゚: .⋆
Raegan had no idea where her mother was taking her. Allison navigated the twists and turns of the hallways easily, not letting go of Raegan's hand as she quickly wiped the blood off her hands onto her shirt and tucked the gun in the waistband of her jeans.
"Mom, what's going on?" Raegan cried out softly as tears streamed down her face, unable to get the guard's face out of her mind. Allison didn't reply as she walked into a room, smirking as she recognized it.
At the sight of Nygel's worker, Allison smirked before pulling out her gun and pressing it to his temple, causing him to look at her in fear.
"Where's Nygel?" Allison questioned, smirking softly as he pointed further inside the room, before she pulled the trigger.
The sound of the gunshot rang through Raegan's ears as she sobbed harder, watching through glassy eyes as Nygel stepped into her field of vision, her smirk falling off at the sight of Allison's gun.
"Where's the bracelet I traded you for moonshine? Give it to me now, Nygel, and I'll let you live." Allison threatened as she pointed the gun at Nygel, smirking at the sight of fear on her face.
"It's at the redistribution center. I had no use for a children's bracelet. I traded it for more moonshine supply. I don't have it." Nygel explained as she kept her gaze on the gun.
"That wasn't so hard now was it?" Allison questioned as she pulled the trigger, shooting Nygel in the abdomen.
"Oh, my god! Mom, what are you doing?" Raegan cried out at the sight of the blood pooling on the floor.
"We're going to the redistribution center." Allison replied, not sparing the two bodies a second glance.
.: ⋆*・゚: .⋆
"There she is." Monroe stated as she pointed towards the figure behind the tree. "Roma!"
Roma made no movement at Monroe's words, causing Raegan to frown softly before she and Bellamy jogged towards her, quickly followed by Finn. Raegan let out a gasp as she saw the spear protruding from Roma's abdomen, taking a few steps back in shock.
"They're playing with us." Finn muttered as he looked around warily, not trusting his surroundings.
"No shit, Sherlock. It doesn't take a genius to figure that out. It also doesn't take a genius to figure out you're two–timing, although that's a conversation for another time." Raegan spat out angrily, fed up with everything that had happened in the past twenty four hours. Her words caused Finn to glare at her, to which she replied with a crude gesture involving her middle finger.
Bellamy carefully closed Roma's eyes, staring at her body in guilt. "She only came because of me."
"They can kill us whenever they want." Finn added, his words having an instantaneous effect on Jasper.
"Then they should get it over with!" Jasper yelled out angrily, much to the shock of the other four people left. Finn quickly ran up to him, trying to get Jasper to calm down. "Come on! We know you're out there!"
Both Bellamy and Finn pulled Jasper back, trying to shake some sense into him as Monroe and Raegan watched the approaching Grounder in worry.
"Bellamy!" Monroe yelled, pointing at the Grounders who were making their way towards the group. At the sound of the horn blowing, Raegan paled with fear, remembering what had happened the last time the horn sounded.
The effect of the horn on the Grounders was immediate. They began retreating almost immediately, leaving the delinquents to fend for themselves.
"They're leaving." Bellamy noted, causing Raegan to roll her eyes.
"Really? I definitely didn't see that with my own two eyes." Raegan sassed, her words causing Bellamy to glare at her.
"That horn. What does it mean?" Jasper questioned as he looked around, having been unconscious the last time it had sounded.
"Acid fog." Raegan answered as Finn began taking the tent out, ready to set it up.
"There's no time." Finn quickly replied as he set up the tent.
.: ⋆*・゚: .⋆
Raegan let out a whimper as she watched her mother force the guard in the Redistribution Center to lock the doors, effectively trapping a homicidal Allison Shepherd with eight people, including her own daughter.
"Where's the bracelet Nygel gave you?" Allison questioned as everyone glanced at her gun in fear. "Where is it? Goddamn it, tell me where the hell it is!"
Raegan let out a sob as Allison pulled the trigger, putting a bullet in the guard's head. She shook her head in horror as she curled into a ball, watching as the others let out a scream in fear.
"Now tell me where it is, or else that becomes you." Allison ordered as she put the barrel of her gun against a woman next to Raegan's head.
"I don't know what you're talking about. Please I have a son, a baby boy. Please have mercy." The woman begged, causing Allison to scoff in annoyance.
"Wrong answer." Allison muttered before she pulled the trigger, killing the woman and causing her blood to cover Raegan's face.
Raegan let out a scream in horror as her hands went to her face, feeling the blood. Bile rose in throat and she turned away from the body before she vomited. Raegan crawled away from the body as her mother shot another person in the chest, the sound of the gunshots echoing in her mind.
Raegan sobbed as her mother's mouth moved, no sound coming out of it. She let out sobs as Allison rummaged through the boxes, looking for Raegan's bracelet, letting out a string of curses when she couldn't find it.
Allison's anger got the best of her and she fired the gun angrily, killing two more people instantly, leaving only an elderly woman and Raegan looking at her in fear.
"Mom, what are you doing? Stop this, please, Mom. This isn't you, please." Raegan begged between sobs, watching fearfully as Allison pointed the gun at her.
"Don't you know, my darling? I did this for you." Allison replied softly before turning the gun onto the elderly woman, pulling the trigger as soon as the guards and broke through the lock on the door.
Raegan let out a scream as she sobbed in despair, watching as the guards bound Allison's hands, pulling her out of the Redistribution Center as she let out profanities, cursing at Kane and Jaha, who stared at the scene in front of them in horror.
Abby walked in, looking at the scene in front of her in horror, before glancing at Kane and Jaha, shaking her head softly, indicating that all the people Allison had shot were dead.
"Sweetie, are you okay?" Abby questioned as she reached out to stroke Raegan's hair, watching sadly as Raegan flinched away from her touch, tears streaming down the younger girl's face.
"I want my dad. Please, I just want my dad." Raegan begged as she closed her eyes in an effort to block out the sight of the dead bodies in front of her.
.: ⋆*・゚: .⋆
Raegan was cramped between Bellamy and Finn, but she didn't complain, instead she pressed the edges of the tent down as hard as she could in an effort to prevent the acid fog from entering and killing them all.
She inhaled deeply as she watched the worried look on Bellamy's face. The two glanced at each other, the same thought passing through their heads. If acid fog didn't kill them, the limited oxygen in the tent surely would. Oh, how ironic that would be, dying from the very thing they were sent to the ground to stop.
"How long are we supposed to wait?" Jasper questioned, breaking the silence in the tent.
"Will this even work?" Monroe questioned, voicing the very thoughts running through Raegan's mind.
"We'll find out." Finn replied, his words sounding more sure than his tone.
"No, we won't." Bellamy muttered before pulling the tent off of his head, much to Raegan's annoyance.
"Are you still alive, Blake?" Raegan drawled out, annoyance lacing her tone.
"Still alive, Spitfire. There's no fog." Bellamy explained, causing Raegan to throw the tent off of her, looking around in confusion.
"Maybe it was a false alarm." Finn offered, causing Raegan to shake her head.
"I highly doubt it, the Grounders have probably been dealing with this for a while. It doesn't make sense that it would be a false alarm." Raegan argued as the sight of a lone Grounder caught Bellamy's eye.
"They're coming back." Bellamy replied, causing everyone to look at their surroundings warily.
"I don't think they are." Raegan argued, the sight of no other Grounders intriguing her. "You'd think there'd be more of them."
"I think he's alone." Jasper whispered, building off of Raegan's words.
"Now can we run?" Monroe questioned, as the group studied the lone Grounder warily.
"He doesn't see us. I'm going after him." Bellamy whispered, ignoring Monroe's request, much to Raegan's annoyance.
"And what? Kill him?" Finn questioned, his gaze still trained on the Grounder.
"No. Catch him. Make him tell me where Octavia is, Then kill him." Bellamy replied as he made his way towards the Grounder silently.
"I honestly think following him is a better idea, but okay." Raegan muttered as she glanced at Monroe's hand, the girl offering to help her up. Raegan gave her a thin smile as she took it, before glancing back down at Finn and Jasper.
"How do we know he's not leading us to another trap?" Jasper questioned as he stood up, almost fearful of Finn's reply.
"We don't." Finn replied as the group quickly made their way after Bellamy.
"We're going to follow him, I think he can lead us to Octavia." Bellamy explained, catching Raegan's glare. "And yes, Spitfire, I know. It was your idea, you get the credit."
"I didn't say anything." Raegan replied smugly, catching the amused glance Bellamy had thrown at her. "And lose the nickname, we talked about this."
Bellamy hummed in response as the rest of the trek turned silent, none of them wanting to give away their location to the Grounder they were following. They watched as he entered a cave, exchanging glances as he did so, before following him.
The darkness had surprised Raegan, causing her to nearly bump into a wall before her eyes had adjusted. She blinked a couple times before a sound entered her ears, sounding eerily like Octavia. Bellamy had come to the same realization she did, a look of anger passing across his face.
"So, Blake, what are we going to do?" Raegan questioned as she kept her tone quiet, not wanting the Grounder to hear her.
"We go in, attack him, and rescue my sister." Bellamy replied, causing Raegan to roll her eyes in annoyance.
"Wonderful plan, Blake. Wonderful amount of detail. I'm totally not confused about how we are going to take down someone whose people killed a bunch of ours." Raegan drawled, causing Bellamy to glare at her.
Everyone had grabbed their weapons and held onto them tightly as they made their way inside the cave, the twists and turns doing nothing to deter them. Raegan's eyes widened as they reached the inside of the cave, her eyes glancing from the unconscious Grounder on the ground to Octavia who was chained in the corner.
"Bellamy?" Octavia called out, disbelief leaking into her voice as she glanced up at her brother in hope that it wasn't some sort of hallucination.
"Octavia." Bellamy breathed out in relief, his words being enough to convince Octavia that he was real.
"Get the key." Octavia muttered as she handed Bellamy the key, the older man quickly undoing Octavia's chains and freeing Octavia.
"Monroe, Raegan, watch the entrance." Bellamy ordered as he glanced at the two girls. Monroe and Raegan exchanged glances before nodding, making their way back to the entrance of the cave.

Raegan wanted to scream. She wanted to scream and shout and throw everything that reminded her of her mother out into the void of space.
Everything changed for her after her mother had died. She didn't have very many friends to begin with, having only stuck with Myra since she was eight, but now no one wanted to be around her, let alone her friend.
Raegan was glad that Myra had stuck with her, muttering about their promise that they'd stick together no matter what, before pulling her into a hug.
She was lucky that Abby had taken pity on her and prescribed her a small amount of sleeping pills after Mason had walked into Medical and told her about Raegan's nightmares.
Oh, the nightmares. Raegan did not want to talk about the nightmares which were filled with blood, gunshots, and screams. She did not want to talk about the way she woke up every night, wanting to dig her nails into her skull in an effort to get everything to stop.
She definitely didn't want to talk about the way that sometimes in her nightmares, it wasn't her mother holding the gun, it was her. She didn't want to talk about the fear she felt every time she saw a guard, only being able to see her mother kill them.
Raegan was messed up, there was no way to sugarcoat it. Her mind was torn apart and rebuilt, as if she was some sort of doll and not human. The whispers followed her, as if she was just a byproduct of her mother, and not an actual human being with feelings.
No one understood what she was feeling, she decided. Her father tried, but he couldn't understand what went through Raegan's mind, not if she didn't understand herself.

The sound of a struggle inside had caught both Raegan and Monroe's attention, while the sound of Octavia's yells prompted them to glance back inside the cave in worry.
"Stop, that's my brother!" Octavia yelled, her voice sounding distant to the two girls standing at the entrance. They exchanged a glance, having a silent conversation of whether they should go inside to help or stay at the entrance to guard the cave.
"You stay out here, you're better with an axe than I am." Raegan explained as she turned on her heel and walked into the cave.
The sound of a person falling to the ground prompted her to move faster. She made her way through the twists and turns of the cave, panting as she finally made it back inside and fought the urge to collapse into the ground, glancing at the scene in front of her with wide eyes.
Octavia was kneeling against the wall, watching Finn, who had a knife sticking out of his chest, in worry. Jasper was holding onto his weapon, while Bellamy was on the ground with a spear lying next to him, and the Grounder was lying unconscious on the ground.
Raegan quickly pieced the story together at the sight in front of her before the sight of Finn's wound and the smell of iron was processed by her brain. Bile crawled up her throat as she took a few steps back before turning around and didn't fight the urge to vomit.

"Clarke! Where's Clarke!" Jasper called out in desperation as he and Monroe dragged Octavia into Camp, with Raegan right on their heels. "Get Clarke now."
"Hey. I'm here. What's up?" Clarke questioned before Bellamy walked in, carrying Finn in his arms, the stab wound visible to everyone who crowded around them. Clarke's eyes widened in horror as she ran towards Bellamy. "Finn. Finn? Oh, my god. Oh, oh, my god."
"Oh, my god." Raven muttered in horror as she walked up to the crowd, causing Raegan to pull her back towards Myra.
"It's going to be okay, Clarke's good. She brought Jasper back from the brink of death before." Raegan assured her, watching as panic etched onto her face.
"He's alive." Clarke called out after she checked Finn's pulse.
"Bellamy and Raegan wouldn't let me take the knife out." Jasper explained softly as Bellamy handed Finn to the other delinquents.
"What, no. That was a good call." Clarke explained as she turned around and met Raegan's gaze, giving her a nod. "Get him in the dropship now. Go!"
"Clarke, can you save him?" Raven questioned, the tension between the two visible to Raegan who frowned.
"You told her?" Raegan whispered quietly into Myra's ear.
"She figured it out on her own. I think she's pissed at me, but she understands why I didn't tell her." Myra explained softly.
"No. Not me. I need my mother. I need to talk to her." Clarke explained, much to Raven's anguish.
"There's still no radio." Raven explained as she glanced at Raegan in desperation. "Now that Raegan's here, the three of us might be able to fix it."
"Raven, fix it! Go!" Clarke ordered, causing Raven to grab Myra and Raegan by the wrist and drag them towards the dropship.
"We have to fix it. We have to." Raven muttered, causing Raegan to squeeze her hand in reassurance.
"We will. We can do anything together. The two best engineering apprentices on the Ark with the youngest Zero–G mech in fifty two years? We got this." Raegan replied softly.
