Character Synopsis:
In a way, Johnathan Patrick Riverstone [OC owned by GeekyCookie1] was the same as Briana.

For he too had been made into a vessel for Dread, the demon spirit of pain.

The only difference is that unlike Briana who grew up with zero memories of her biological family, John [OC owned by GeekyCookie1] did have memories of his parents—memories of how amazing and perfect his life once was, and he remembered how fast his entire life went downhill.

On the day of Briana's birth, John [OC owned by GeekyCookie1] was three-years-old when the Shredder and his Foot Clan attacked and had evacuated alongside his mother and the rest of the citizens of the Crystal Empire while his father had gone to meet up with Queen Twilight Velvet and her husband where his father, Kikuyu Riverstone, who at the time was the former vessel of Dread, did the same spell as the former Queen, sacrificing his own life to save not just the kingdom but his family as well.

But the spell came with another cost, and that cost turned John [OC owned by GeekyCookie1] into the new vessel for Dread.

At the age of three, John [OC owned by GeekyCookie1] was burdened with being the new vessel of Dread and from that moment on, both he and his mother were treated like outcasts as there would be times where John [OC owned by GeekyCookie1] would catch the other citizens of the Crystal Empire whispering about him or keeping their own children from playing with him.

Then, one day when John [OC owned by GeekyCookie1] was six-years-old, his mother, who was suffering from Parkinson's disease, and her health was only getting worse to the point that it had her confined to the hospital permanently and John [OC owned by GeekyCookie1] had no idea what would happen to him next.

But then, Quill Sentry had took him in and treated him as if he was his own son, and that was how John [OC owned by GeekyCookie1] met his best friend.

John [OC owned by GeekyCookie1] and Diana—Diana and John [OC owned by GeekyCookie1], best friends till the end of the world.

They did everything together and stuck by each other's side, never abandoning the other in their time of need.

Feeling like he had a family again, John [OC owned by GeekyCookie1] didn't want to lose them or to see Diana get hurt again. And so, John [OC owned by GeekyCookie1] was made and trained to be Diana's personal bodyguard by Quill.

Everything was perfect.

Then, fifteen years later on the day of Briana's fifteenth birthday, Briana's prophesied return to the Crystal Empire had finally happened as the lost princess arrived with Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello, Michelangelo, Eclipse [OC owned by GeekyCookie1], Henry Hart, Kaz, April O'Neil, Casey Jones, Mara Sparks [OC owned by MariChat3], and Zane Carson [OC owned by MariChat3].

Then, everything changed because the moment that John [OC owned by GeekyCookie1] and Briana met, he immediately feels something between him and Briana that tugs him to her—a sudden connection between the two that draws the other to each other.

A connection that at first, he wants nothing to do with at all—because just like Briana, he can see parts of himself in her and at first, he doesn't like what he sees.

But the more that he and Briana come to work together and rely on each other, the two come to realize what their connection is telling them—what they are to each other and how they're connected, and John [OC owned by GeekyCookie1] finds himself starting to see Briana as his sister.

But as he watches Briana grow stronger and stronger with each day while it feels like he's being left behind in her shadow, he finds a desire to fight her [and Briana too finds a sudden desire to fight him as well].

But then, just like in the past, history starts to repeats itself between the two vessels after an attack by the Foot Clan and Jake reveals to John [OC owned by GeekyCookie1] what Briana has been keeping from him about his father and what he is. At first, he refuses to believe it, believing that Jake was trying to fool him but that changes after John [OC owned by GeekyCookie1] overhears a conversation that Briana has with the five mutant turtles, Henry, Kaz, April, Casey, Mara [OC owned by MariChat3], Zane [OC owned by MariChat3], and Calista Diaz [OC owned by MariChat3].

Betrayed, John [OC owned by GeekyCookie1] is angry and a part of him wants to avenge his father and make the kingdom paid but he's conflicted because deep down, it's the first time where he has finally felt like he was at home with a family since his mother was confined to the hospital and his father's death.

It's Quill Sentry who reminds John [OC owned by GeekyCookie1] that just because his parents are unable to be with him, it didn't mean that he was alone—because he still had a family that was worth protecting and fighting for.

And for a split second, he forgot all about revenge... until Cameron Chandler [OC owned by MariChat3], Noelle Winters [OC owned by MariChat3], and Tyson Borisyuk [OC owned by MariChat3] are sent by Jake and are able to manipulate John [OC owned by GeekyCookie1] into joining the Foot Clan in grow stronger and to gain power so that way, he'd be able to avenge his father and get revenge.

And so, John [OC owned by GeekyCookie1] ends up deserting the Crystal Empire but Briana runs off to chase after him in hopes of saving him from the darkness that was currently consuming him. But just like with the former vessels in the past, the two battles it out and John [OC owned by GeekyCookie1] ultimately defeats Briana and leaves for the Foot Clan for good, vowing to avenge his father and get his vengeance.

But as John [OC owned by GeekyCookie1] trains and fights as hard as he could to server the connection between him and Briana, he is stopped and proven wrong with each time that he and Briana have one of their battles that no matter what he does, nothing will ever severed their connection as brother and sister.

Because as long as both he and Briana live, their connection as brother and sister will forever keep them connected, and a part of him—the him from before the darkness and Jake's manipulation consumed him will never stop fighting to protect his family.

Quill Sentry - father figure. When Quill takes him in while his mother is confined to a hospital bed, John [OC owned by GeekyCookie1] grows to see the man, who is the captain of the royal guard, as a father.

Princess Briana Gem Sentry-Hamato - "biological" younger sister. At first, the two can't stand the other because of the fact that the both of them can see parts of themselves in the other and they both don't like what they see. It takes a while but eventually, Briana and John [OC owned by GeekyCookie1] will take on a competitive rivalry where although the two try to beat the other by growing stronger with their desires to fight the other while at the same time, they both show how they care about the other by willingly protecting the other when needed too, due to their connection pulling the two of them closer to each other.

However, their relationship turns strained as the two go back to arguing and fighting with each other when Jake reveals to John [OC owned by GeekyCookie1] what he is and how Briana has been hiding stuff from him. It grows even more strained as he officially deserts the kingdom and eventually joins the Foot Clan for power and revenge where he continues to attempt to server the connection between him and Briana, but their relationship does end up returning back to normal as Briana is able to save him from the darkness that was consuming him as the two grow a friendly competitive rivalry with their connection as brother and sister growing twice as stronger.

He prefers to wear a long-sleeve black shirt, dark grey jeans, black sneakers with white laces on them, and a black beanie on his hair. He has a golden pin on his shirt that has the symbol of a crystal star on it that symbolizes his loyalty to the Crystal Empire but he discards it once he officially deserts the kingdom, unaware that Briana keeps it for safekeeping.

When Jake reveals that he's half demon as he is the vessel to his demon side, Dread, who was once the spirit of pain before his father sealed the spirit inside of his son on the day of his death, a symbol of a demon mark that is the letter 'D' within a circle will appear on his stomach, revealing to him that he is indeed Dread's vessel.

This relationship is different than the one that Dread had shared with Kikuyu since in a way, John [OC owned by GeekyCookie1] shared the same view as Dread, allowing the two to work together in order to get what they both want. But by the time that Briana has saved John [OC owned by GeekyCookie1] from the darkness that was consuming him, both he and Dread have become friends and allies by then.

Personality:
John [OC owned by GeekyCookie1] is closed off upon first meeting others since he likes to be sure that he can trust them before he opens up to them. He is smart, organized, caring, loyal, and protective but there are times where he can also come across as cold and distant to anybody else [that isn't Diana, Quill, or Twilight]. He is also determined and at times, he can get jealous easily since he will get jealous of Briana's strength as he watches her grow stronger with each passing day.

For a while, he'll start to grow attached to Briana and the others as he starts to enjoy working alongside them and growing to see them as his family, hence why he'll feel conflicted on what to do until Cameron Chandler, Noelle Winters, and Tyson Borisyuk [OCs owned by MariChat3] manipulate him into joining their side as John [OC owned by GeekyCookie1] will grow determined to server his connections with everybody, including Briana as he will consider those connections weak.

When he discovers the truth through Jake's manipulation, he turns even colder as he gets consumed by anger, hatred, and his pursuit for vengeance. Due to this, his only goal is to avenge his father by any means as he deserts the kingdom and eventually joins the Foot Clan. Despite the fact that he eventually becomes a member of the Foot Clan [once proving his loyalty and earning their trust], John [OC owned by GeekyCookie1] will refuse to see any of them as his new teammates since subconsciously, he will still feel attached to Briana, Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello, Michelangelo, Eclipse [OC owned by GeekyCookie1], Henry, Kaz, April, Casey, Mara [OC owned by MariChat3], and Zane [OC owned by MariChat3] even though he kept trying to convince himself that he had severed his connections with his former teammates.

As his anger and hatred increases due to Jake's manipulation, John's [OCs owned by GeekyCookie1] fall to the darkness continues to grow as well as he is determined to rid himself of any goodness he once had, and even going as far as trying to kill his former teammates when they attempted to dissuade him from his goal, which causes his former teammates [minus Briana Gem Sentry-Hamato] to believe that he is without salvation until for a split second, they see a glimpse of the old John [OC owned by GeekyCookie1] when he saves Briana Gem Sentry-Hamato from getting killed by the Argent family of hunters.

Once Briana Gem Sentry-Hamato is able to save him from the dark path he has been on and convinces him to find redemption instead—to cherish his bonds and to fight to protect his loved ones, John [OC owned by GeekyCookie1] returns to his old self as he is loyal, trustworthy, caring, protective, and although he isn't that affectionate, he still shows that he cares and cherishes his loved ones as he feels his strong connections with them. He also becomes more wiser and mature than he once was.

At the end of the Fourth Great Ninja War [and after Briana had saved him from the dark path he had been on], he is determined to atone for the mistakes that he made and sets out on a Journey of Redemption where he travels around the world and helps others when needed too as well as protecting the Crystal Empire from any threats that may show up as the kingdom's Supporting Kage.

• Dark Demon Magic - This allows John [OC owned by GeekyCookie1] to be able to conjure spells and use magic as a way to fight and protect himself. For example, he can make demon shadow hands with his magic.

• Super Speed - He is able to run faster than humans due to being the vessel of Dread.

• Shadow Clone - This ability allows him to make one or two clones of himself. However, the clones will disappear if something happens to John [OC owned by GeekyCookie1] as he is the host—and the clone's memory will go to him as well once the clones disappear.

2. Just like it is with Briana, mutagen is a fatal weakness to him as well and can kill him within a few days if it gets into his bloodstream due to the fact that his demon magic and mutagen aren't compatible together.
