SYNOPSIS: 

𝐋𝐎𝐒𝐒 𝐖𝐀𝐒 𝐒𝐎𝐌𝐄𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐓𝐇𝐀𝐓 𝐇𝐀𝐃 𝐀𝐋𝐖𝐀𝐘𝐒 𝐁𝐄𝐄𝐍 𝐅𝐎𝐑𝐄𝐈𝐆𝐍 𝐓𝐎 𝐋𝐄𝐈𝐋𝐀𝐍𝐈. For as long as she could remember, she had a perfect life, a life that many aspired to have. She had the perfect father, a man that was strong, dependable, and warm. A man who despite having a military background filled with violence, fighting, and a surplus of death, only showed tender paternal love towards his children. And she had her brother, her oldest friend and most trusted advisor for all things life-related.

Greatness had always thrummed in the Keahi family's blood, their souls eternally destined for more than the universe could ever offer them. Their father was a Navy SEAL, a highly esteemed one at that. Protection and being a savior to the people had always been something he had prided himself on. His comradery and willingness to put all on the line for his country made him the ideal soldier. A soldier worthy of his title.

Kai shared many of his father's traits. A desire to assist those who were vulnerable ran through his veins, a need to help burning bright in his doe eyes. And as such he trained to be a doctor, striving for the ability to heal even those who were told they had no chance of surviving.  Fighting a different beast than his father, the monster that was illness.

And Leilani, she wanted to follow in her father's footsteps. She wanted to fight for her country, to be the greatest soldier the world had ever seen. With fearless courage and unmatched fervor, she trained with her father, accepting nothing other than perfection until she became the epitome of a warrior. A fire burned within her, blazing with a desire to rid the world of the corruption that it had acquired. And as such, she thrived at Midtown High School, catching the eye of S.H.I.E.L.D who began to pay notice to her strength. She was on the verge of being recruited to an organization that stood for everything she believed in. An organization that would allow her to pursue her dream, all at the tender age of 16.

lt seemed that she had it all: a wonderful family, the career she wanted waiting for her, a heart that was pure and untainted, and not a single worry in the world that could ruin her perfect life. 

That was until the death of her father.

The man that she had loved with her entire being, the person who had raised her, brought her up to be the woman she was now, perished within the bat of an eye. Her one true idol, gone. And he was stolen from the world in the most cruel of ways.

He was shopping at the local supermarket when a robber had appeared. The criminal raised his gun and threatened the cashier, demanding that he hand over the cash. And the cashier did, giving the man everything that was in the till. But the robber still shot him, prompting her father into action. He quickly went to assist the bleeding cashier when the robber turned on him, sending those fatal bullets into the chest of her father. Ending his life without thought of the consequence. Taking the one person she truly needed in the world without even letting her say goodbye. 

And it was that day that her soul began its plunge into the darkness.

That goodness that flowed through her ebbed away, replaced with the darkest of vengeance. She craved for it like an addict begged for their next hit, not stopping until they reached that euphoric high they coveted for. It gnawed at her soul, relentless and unforgiving. She blamed the world for everything, letting her blazing molten rage consume everything she held dear. Allowing the empty but satisfying need for revenge totally consume her. 

But the one person she truly blamed, the person that she despised with everything in her soul, was Spiderman.

The hero of Queens, the friendly neighborhood Spiderman, he hadn't saved her father. No, he let her father perish, only bringing in his killer a week later as if that could atone for the loss of her only parent. Taking the credit for getting another lowlife criminal off the street.

Where was Spiderman, you may ask? 

The oh-so-amazing Spiderman was receiving an award for all the good deeds that he had done for Queens, a benefit night dedicated solely to him. It was ironic, the night that Spiderman was getting praised for saving the city was the one and only time Leilani had ever needed the hero. 

So Leilani was out for revenge, and Spiderman was her target.

NOTES:

↳ Auli'i Cravalho can't be changed as the Face claim for Leilani

↳ Booboo Stewart can only be changed for a Hawaiin Face claim as I couldn't find anyone that suited the role of Kai that was from Hawaii

↳ Peter and Leilani are friends but not best friends in the story (like they know each other but don't sit with each other every day and such)

↳ Definitely a slow burn and the reveal can't happen in like chapter 4

↳ There is a role for Leilani's best friend but I left it up to you to create

↳ The storyline takes place at the same time as Homecoming

↳ Kai becomes Leilani's caregiver after the death of her father and their relationship is GOALS
