Today was the day of the engagement party held at one of our clubs for my dad's close friends who were probably in the mafia. I was quite nervous actually. Me and Luca haven't spoken at all after that fight with James and as for James I was worried if he was alright. Elijah was way better now but you can still see that he is hurting.

I was currently in bed reading my favorite book but was disturbed when I heard my phone buzz with a message. I somewhere in my mind hoped it would be Luca but it was not, It was Richard messaging me about some project work. After replying to him, I noticed that it was already 8, I decided to get ready as we had to be there at 9. I had also invited Ashely to come along to the club. 

I went to my closet and rummaged through it to find a Sapphire blue bodycon dress and took some matching heels along with a black clutch. I decided to do minimal makeup and just as I was finishing my door opened and Ashley came inside. She wore a white bodycon dress and she looked quite pretty in it.

"You look fucking amazing Ana." she said causing me to smile. "Thank You and so do you. Now lets get going." I said to which she nodded and we both were on our way out.

 Dad and Elijah were already and I had no clue about Luca. I decided to take my car to the club which was Ashton Martin DB5 it was a gift from Elijah for my 21st birthday. I only use it whenever I am in New York as I currently live in Italy and will be living there forever. We both got inside and were on our way to the club.

Once we reached the club, we found the it be packed! but luckily the VIP section was booked by my dad. Me and Ashley took the stairs inside the club to reach the VIP section.

 I spotted my dad talking with one of his business associates and decided not to disturb him, Elijah was talking with some of his friends. There wasn't any sign of the person that I wanted to see 'Luca'.

Ashley grabbed my hand and led me to the bar in the VIP section as she really wanted a drink and so did I. 

"What would you like Madam?" The bartender asked us.

"A Martini for me." Ashley said smiling. 

"and One glass of whiskey for me. Thank You" I said and turned my gaze towards the people present in the area.  After drinking with me for a while Ashley went towards the dance floor. I was observing everything around until I heard a throat clearance behind me.

I turned to see the same guy who was always with Luca. He was about 5'6 ft tall and was buff with muscles, he was handsome but not as much as Luca.

"Ciao! Signora I am Riccardo Rossi,  Don's Right hand man and his best friend. Its nice to meet you and please call me Ric." he said.

"Ciao! Ric I am Anastasia Williams, Your Don's Fiancé. Its nice to meet you too and please call me Ana." I replied

"I am afraid I can't do so Signora. Your Don's Fiancé and you have to be treated with the same amount of respect as given to him." he replied. Right! I was his fiancé, fiancé of a man who is respected and feared throughout Italy I thought.

"Oh, can you at least call me Ana when we're alone." I replied to which we nodded. Ashley who was on the dance floor came back and I introduced her to Riccardo.

"This is my best friend Ashley."

"Hello Ashley. I am Riccardo." he said to her.

"Its nice to meet you Riccardo." Ashley replied with a small smile, I could see her blushing.

I thought as Riccardo is here, Luca would also be here but I was wrong, I couldn't see him anywhere. I really wanted to ask Riccardo where he was but before I could ask, Riccardo seeing my face searching someone spoke up.

"Don is actually on his way Signora, something came up at the last moment. Don't worry he will here be soon." he said.

"Oh okay." I said and spotted Elijah at the corner alone and decided to head there and leave Ashley and Riccardo alone.

After pushing past many people, I went towards Elijah and gave him a hug.

"Hey Eli! What are you doing here alone? Didn't get your eyes on any girl yet?" I asked smirking.

"Nah! No one like literally no one has caught my eye." he replied to which I chuckled. Typical Elijah!

Soon after talking with him for a while, he noticed some random girl and went to speak to her. I had spotted Ashley and Riccardo talking and laughing while I was talking with Elijah. She soon came towards me.

"So, how was your chat with Riccardo?" I asked Ashley smiling. "Yea, it was alright." she replied shrugging.

"Oh really?" I asked raising my eyebrows and stared at her. 

"Fine, Fine You got me. It was really nice." she said blushing. "Now how hard was that?" I asked to which she just chuckled.

"I kind of like him." she said. "No way babe!" I replied shocked. Ashley wasn't a girl to go on many dates and be in a relationship. If she was in one I had to be damn serious, otherwise she would call it off. Hearing this from her made me shocked.

"Signora" I heard someone call me and turned to see Riccardo standing. "Please come with me" he said. I was confused why was he calling me?

"Where to?" I asked looked at him confused. "Please don't ask any questions, immediately come with me its regarding Don and its urgent." he said seriously. Oh no! What happened to Luca? Did he get hurt? Was he not going to turn up? All these thoughts were going on my mind. I quickly spoke "Fine, I will come with you." and Riccardo walked away with me following him behind.  

"Riccardo, Is Luca fine? What happened to him?" I asked as I was hurrying with him. "Please don't ask any questions Signora." he said and I didn't push any further and silently followed him. He led me outside the club to some kind of secluded area. What place is this? Why is he taking me here??

He soon came to a stop and looked at me. "What?" I asked. "Just go straight and turn right." he said. "Your not coming??" I asked.

"No Signora. Please go." he said and before I could aske more he swiftly turned and disappeared into to the dark. I was having an inner battle as to whether to go ahead or turn back and find my way back but it was something regarding Luca and as curious as a cat, I started to walk straight and followed his instruction.

After turning a right, I couldn't believe what I say! There was a pathway with lights hanging from the top and lighting at the sides of the pathway. It looked like it was decorated. But there was no one in sight. I walked forward and entered the pathway and began to walk through it when two hands came around my waist from behind and I was pulled into a hard chest.

"You look fucking stunning tesoro."

Luca, He was here. I immediately turned and got the sight of him wearing a sleek black suit and he looked soo hot! Ana, get hold of yourself my inner self spoke up. 

"Luca, What's all this? Did you prepare all of this?" I asked. "Yes it was me." he replied casually. "You literally scared the shit out of me." I said. "Good to know, you care about me tesoro." he said to which I blushed.

"Wait, Is this the reason why Riccardo literally dragged me in here saying it was urgent??" I asked.

"Yea, I wanted it be a surprise" he replied.

"I am sorry tesoro, I didn't mean to be late. Something came up at the last moment." he said.  "Its okay, No problem." I replied. 

I turned to admire the lights which were hanging all around and there was literally no one in sight and after exploring it, I turned towards Luca and my breath hitched. Luca was on one knee! and he took my hand in his.

"I know this whole marriage proposal was really sudden, But when I first saw you you took my breath away, I knew that you were the one I was waiting for my entire life. Your the only women who has absolute rights over me than anyone else. I promise I will make you the happiest women alive. All I want from you is your love which I hope to get someday. So, Anastasia Amber Williams... Will you marry me?" he asked.

I was shocked would be an understatement, I was literally blown away. Never in a million years I would have thought I would be marrying the Italian Don and Moreover he was proposing me! Is this even real? May be all those things people were saying about him were just rumors? 

I honestly didn't know what to think. I literally loved his speech which made my heart melt. Even though I was not interested in this marriage, I really wanted to give him a chance. Realizing that I didn't respond, I broke out of my stance and replied "Y--Yes"

Luca smiled and immediately slipped on the diamond ring that he had bought for me. It was so beautiful and I didn't know what to say.

"T--the ring is beautiful Luca but you really didn't have to." I said.

"But I want to." he said and I blushed. Luca was standing dangerously close to me, I looked up and stared into his eyes and then his lips. Before I could say something he spoke up.

"Can I kiss you tesoro? he asked and I smiled. "What are you waiting for?" I replied and in an instant his lips came crashing at mine curling my toes. Luca pulled me insanely close and we both molded perfectly together.

He kissed me slowly but passionately and I wanted this feeling to last forever. I ran my finger along his back slowing making my way up to his hair and knotted my fist into it and pulled him closer. He groaned in my mouth and continued to kiss me passionately. I closed my eyes as I let myself indulge in the kiss. Although it seemed as if we just met, I couldn't help but feel like it was right.

After what seemed like hours we finally pulled apart. Me and Luca were both panting heavily and he rested his forehead on mine and said "That was the best kiss I had ever had mi amore."

"Me too Luca, This was the best kiss I had ever had as this was my first kiss." I replied and saw Luca shocked but that changed and he immediately started grinning. "Glad to know that."

"I think we should go back now." he said. "Right, Elijah and dad will be searching for me." I replied and we both made our way back with his hand in my lower back. I just hoped we would stay like this forever.. But will we?
