"Aise jud mujhse
main ghat jaaun maula"

[AUTHOR'S POV]

The evening sun cast a warm glow over Ruturaj's room as he sat on his bed, scrolling through his phone. He couldn't help but think about Utkarsha and their chance encounter in the park earlier.

He smiled to himself as he remembered their conversation and the way she had smiled at him. He felt a flutter in his chest as he thought about her, and he knew he had to talk to her again.

Ruturaj's fingers hovered over the screen as he debated whether to send her a message. He didn't want to come on too strong, but he couldn't help the way he felt.

Finally, he took a deep breath and typed her a simple message: "Hey Utkarsha, it's Ruturaj Gaikwad here. How are you doing?"

He hesitated for a moment before hitting send. He didn't know what to expect, but he hoped she would respond.

A few minutes later, his phone buzzed with an incoming message. Ruturaj's heart skipped a beat as he saw Utkarsha's name on the screen.

"Hey! I'm good, thanks. Just got free from work. How about you?"

Ruturaj's face broke out into a wide smile as he read her message. He felt a sense of relief and excitement, knowing that she was responding to him.

"I'm good too! Just chillin' at home. I had a great time talking to you earlier today," Ruturaj replied, trying to sound casual.

Utkarsha's response came quickly. "Me too! I'm glad we ran into each other."

Ruturaj's heart fluttered as he read her message. He couldn't believe how easy it was to talk to her, and how much he enjoyed her company.

As they continued to chat, Ruturaj found himself opening up to Utkarsha in ways he never thought possible. He told her about his love of cricket, his favorite music, and his dreams for the future.

Utkarsha listened intently, responding with her own thoughts and experiences. Ruturaj felt like he had found a kindred spirit, someone who understood him in a way that no one else did.

As the conversation flowed easily, Ruturaj realized that he was having the best time of his life. He didn't want the conversation to end, but he also didn't want to keep Utkarsha up too late.

"Hey, I should probably let you go," Ruturaj said, feeling a pang of disappointment.

Utkarsha's response came quickly. "Okay, yeah. I should probably get some rest too. But it was great talking to you, Ruturaj."

Ruturaj's heart skipped a beat as he read her message. He felt like he was walking on air, and he couldn't wait to talk to her again.

"Same to you, Utkarsha," Ruturaj replied, smiling to himself. "Goodnight."

Utkarsha's responded simply. "Goodnight, Ruturaj."

Over the next few days, Ruturaj and Utkarsha spent every spare moment together. They would meet up in the evenings, go for walks, and talk for hours.

Ruturaj was smitten, and he couldn't believe his luck. He had never felt this way about anyone before, and he was eager to spend more time with Utkarsha.

Utkarsha, too, was feeling the same way. She had been drawn to Ruturaj from the moment they met, but she was afraid to admit her feelings. She didn't want to ruin their friendship, and she wasn't sure if Ruturaj felt the same way.

But it wasn't just the fear of rejection that held Utkarsha back. She was also aware of the vast differences between their worlds. Ruturaj was a rising star in the cricket world, with a bright future ahead of him.

Utkarsha, on the other hand, was just a commoner, with no claims to fame or fortune. She felt like she didn't belong in his world, and that he deserved someone better, someone who could match his stature and fame.

As they spent more time together, Utkarsha found herself falling deeper and deeper in love with Ruturaj. She loved the way he made her laugh, the way he listened to her, and the way he always knew how to make her feel better.

But she was still afraid to say anything. She didn't want to scare Ruturaj away, and she wasn't sure if he was ready for a relationship.

One evening, as they were walking through the park, Ruturaj turned to Utkarsha and asked her what she wanted to do with her life. Utkarsha thought for a moment before responding.

"I want to be happy," she said, looking up at Ruturaj. "I want to find someone who loves me for who I am, and I want to spend the rest of my life making them happy."

Ruturaj's heart skipped a beat as he looked at Utkarsha. He knew exactly what she meant, and he felt the same way.

"I think that's what we all want," Ruturaj said, smiling at Utkarsha. "To find someone who loves us for who we are, and to spend the rest of our lives making them happy."

Utkarsha's eyes met Ruturaj's, and for a moment, they just stared at each other. Ruturaj knew that he had found someone special, and he was determined to make her happy.

As they continued to walk, Ruturaj realized that he had indirectly proposed to Utkarsha. He hadn't meant to, but he knew that he had said exactly what she wanted to hear.

Utkarsha, too, had realized what Ruturaj had said. She felt a flutter in her chest as she thought about the possibility of spending the rest of her life with Ruturaj.

As they continued to spend time with each other, Ruturaj realized that he might have to make a difficult choice soon. He couldn't bear the thought of hurting Utkarsha, but he also couldn't ignore his career commitments.

For now, though, he just wanted to enjoy the time he had with Utkarsha. He took her hand in his, feeling a spark of electricity as their skin touched.

Utkarsha didn't pull away, instead letting her hand rest in Ruturaj's. They walked in silence for a while, the only sound being the rustling of leaves beneath their feet.

As the sun began to set, Ruturaj turned to Utkarsha and said, "I don't know what the future holds, but I do know that I want to spend more time with you."

Utkarsha's eyes met Ruturaj's, and for a moment, they just stared at each other. Ruturaj knew that he had told her what he has in his heart, and he could see the hint of a smile on her face.

But beneath the surface, Ruturaj's heart was torn. He knew that his time in the city was limited, and soon he would have to leave Utkarsha behind. The thought filled him with a sense of dread, but he pushed it aside, not wanting to ruin the moment.
