𝐎𝐍 the soccer field, Rebecca and Ali were playing a round of soccer with Daniel. Rebecca kicked the soccer ball to Ali, and she kicked it in the goal, and the three high fived. "Hey, not bad." Daniel said to Ali

"Yeah." Ali smiled

"Definitely varsity material." Rebecca smiled as she and Ali bumped shoulders

"Hey, you two let me." Ali laughed

"Hey, I was gonna call you about trying that slide Friday night." Daniel said. "You up for it?"

"Yeah." Ali said.

"Yeah. Great. I'll pick you up by about 7:00?" Daniel said

"Oh I'm, uh, having dinner with my parents at their country club." Ali said. "But I'll be done by 9:30. Meet me out front."

"Is that cool?" Daniel asked

"Yeah." Ali said

"Hey Johnny. Johnny, over here." Tommy said, and Daniel looked at the Cobras then down at the ground.

"What is it Daniel?" Rebecca asked

"I'm just hearing that little voice again." Daniel said

"Yeah. Pretend your deaf." Ali winked. "Encino Oaks Country Club, 9:30."

"Uh, Friday?" Daniel confirmed

"Yeah." Ali smiled

"Bye Danny." Rebecca smiled then walked with Ali

As the two best friends were walking to cheer practice, Ali stumbled over the soccer ball that Johnny tried to kick to Dutch. "Hey way to go buttertoes." Dutch said

Rebecca turned her head, and her eyes met Bobby's, who blew her a kiss. "Hey beautiful." he smiled

"Hey honey." Rebecca smiled

"Hi Ali." Johnny flirted.

"Hi Ali." Ali mocked, then linked her arm with Rebecca's, and the two walked further away until they reached the other cheerleaders, where they practiced their cheer routines.

When lunch rolled around, Rebecca walked into the courtyard with a tray of food, and she found Bobby waiting for her at one of the tables. "Hey good looking." she smiled as she sat down next to her boyfriend

Bobby smiled brightly then pressed a kiss to her lips. "Hey babe, how's your day been?"

Rebecca smiled as she opened her can of cherry coke, then took a sip. "It's been long. How about your's?"

"It's been good." Bobby said as he kissed her temple. "So listen, I've been thinking..."

"Are you sure you should be doing that? You might hurt yourself." Rebecca laughed

"Oh very funny." Bobby said as he playfully rolled his eyes and she threw a grape at him which he caught with his mouth. "No, my mom and dad have dying to meet you. So, they invited you to the country club on Friday night."

Rebecca had heard about the country club from Ali, and just from everything she has heard, she doesn't want to go, especially being from Reseda. "The country club? Bobby, I don't belong in that kind of environment. What if your parents won't like me, or even approve of me?"

Bobby held her close and kissed her temple. She shouldn't be worrying. Those people in the country club were going to love her. "Hey, of course you belong there. They'll love you, everyone does. I promise you, I won't leave your side. You'll be just fine. We'll leave early if you want to."

"Oh, that would be incredibly rude, wouldn't it?" Rebecca asked as she ate her grapes

"Not really. All they do is talk about money, politics, things of that nature. We don't normally go, but Johnny's mom Laura invited us to go. So we wanted to invite you as well. If it will make you feel better, Ali will be there. I know you two are like sisters." Bobby said as he ate her grapes

"Honey, I'd go with you even if she wasn't going. I'll be there." Rebecca said as she laced her fingers with his

"Good." Bobby said as he placed a kiss against her lips.

Friday, December 14, 1984

Rebecca stood in front of her bedroom mirror smoothing the wrinkles from her black velvet dress, which belonged to her mother. It was off the shoulder, long sleeve, and had a slit, showing one knee. It did make her feel self conscious, simply because, she was not used to wearing a dress, but she loved the way it looked and made her feel.

To go with the dress, she wore her necklace from her mother, her mother's earrings, and black ballet flats. Her makeup was kept simple, and her hair was clipped back in a half ponytail, with a few strands that hung loose around her face.

She sat on her bed for a few moments to control her nerves. Not only was she meeting Bobby's parents, but she was going to the Encino Oaks Country Club, only people with money went there.

Rebecca's stomach wasn't the only one that was in knots. Bobby had just arrived to pick up Rebecca and he was five minutes early. He was wearing a suit and tie. Gathering every ounce of courage he possessed, Bobby knocked on the door and Dean answered the door

"Hey Bobby." Dean greeted and held the door open. "Please come in."

"Hi Mr. Winchester, thank you." Bobby said as he walked in the door, and glanced at the photo of Lisa on the mantle.

Dean closed the door and set his beer bottle on the end table. "Well Rebecca is still getting ready, but in the meantime, can I offer you something to drink? Water? Tea?"

Bobby politely declined. "No thank you, I'm alright, but is it alright if we talk?"

"Sure." Dean said as he gesterured for Bobby to sit down on the couch

Bobby sat down on the couch, and taking a deep breath, he spoke. "Mr. Winchester, I know Rebecca is nervous about tonight, and she said she doesn't belong in that kind of environment, but she does. I want her to meet my parents, and they want to meet her. She's important to me."

Dean glanced at the photo of Lisa on the wall and back to the teen next to him, then placed a fatherly hand on his shoulder. "Hey, I know she is. She loves you and you make her happy."

"I love her, more than anything and anyone." Bobby said. "I'll do anything for her."

"I know." Dean smiled. "I'll admit, I misjudged you at first, I apologize for that. I hope you can forgive me."

"It's alright, Mr. Winchester." Bobby smiled. "I understand."

Strolling into the living room, Rebecca smiled when she saw her father and her boyfriend sitting on the couch. "Hey you two."

Bobby turned his head and saw Rebecca in her mother's black velvet dress, and admired her. The way the dress hugged her curves, the way her emerald green eyes sparkled, the way her hair looked clipped back She looked completely and utterly gorgeous.

"H-Hey. You look beautiful, Bec. But you always look beautiful in anything you wear." Bobby smiled

Rebecca smiled brightly. "Thank you, Bobby. You look nice yourself."

"Kiddo, he's right. You really do look beautiful." Dean said as he embraced his daughter

"Thanks daddy." Rebecca said as she returned her father's embrace

Dean took a couple of pictures, then after embracing his daughter one last time and shaking Bobby's hand, Bobby led Rebecca out the door, and she waved goodbye to her father, before getting in her boyfriend's blue car. He gave Dean a friendly wave, before getting in the car himself.

Bobby and Rebecca held hands the whole way to The Country Club. Once they reached The Country Club, her nerves kicked in. Bobby rubbed soothing circles on her knuckles to try and calm her. It seemed to work, as she focused solely on him.

Bobby got out and opened the door for her, and the Valet took Bobby's car to park it. Rebecca stopped in front of the entrance and Bobby wrapped his arm around her. "Remember, we can leave early, if you feel uncomfortable." Bobby said

That sounded like an excellent idea to her, but she's facing the unknown. So, gathering every ounce of courage she possessed, she walked into the country club with her loving boyfriend completely unaware that a certain cobra would wreak havoc later on

The couple entered the country club, arms linked and Rebecca was in awe. White table cloths, expensive silverware and expensive dishes adorned the tables, then there were people who were dressed to the nines in suits and dresses, who were either drinking champagne and conversing lowly and laughing softly with one another or dancing. She had never been to a place like this before in her life, she definitely felt out of place and insecure. But to Bobby, she was the most beautiful girl in the room.

As the couple walked farther into the room, she saw Susan and Barbara sitting with their families. Each girl sent her a warm smile and a friendly wave, that she returned. This seemed to ease Rebecca's nerves a little. She was looking for Ali, but she guessed she hadn't arrived yet.

"Let's go meet my parents." Bobby suggested

Rebecca smiled sweetly and replied, "Okay."

Bobby and Rebecca walked to a table, where a beautiful couple sat. The woman was gorgeous. She wore a scarlet velvet dress and she wore her long, silky, blonde hair swept to the side and away from her kind face. The man looked similar to Bobby, as he had Bobby's style of hair and his blue eyes.

"Hi sweetie." Adaline smiled as she stood up gave him a hug and a kiss on the cheek.

"Hey mom." Bobby said as he hugged her back, never letting go of Rebecca's hand

"Hello son," Clark said as he embraced Bobby and Bobby returned the embrace never letting go of Rebecca's hand

"Mom, dad, this is my beautiful and wonderful girlfriend, Rebecca Winchester." Bobby introduced

Rebecca smiled as she extended her hand for a handshake. "Hi Mr. and Mrs. Brown. It's a pleasure meeting the both of you."

Adaline gently pushed her hand away and pulled her in for a warm, and tight motherly hug. She had the personality to go with her beauty. "It's so wonderful to meet the beautiful girl my son always talks about." Adaline said as she pulled away from the hug, but kept her hands on Rebecca's arms. "My name is Adaline, and this is my husband Clark. You are all Bobby talks about. He has talked about you nonstop since the night of the beach party."

"Mom. Cut it out." Bobby said looking down embarrassed but Rebecca just chuckled

"It's a pleasure to meet you Rebecca. I'm so glad Bobby has found a good girl like you. Please sit down with us. We would love to get to know you." Clark said as he gave Rebecca a gentle side hug out of respect.

The group sat down at the table and ordered their dinner. Rebecca and Bobby both had the spaghetti and iced tea, while Adaline and Clark had steak and wine.

"So Rebecca, tell us about yourself." Adaline smiled as she sipped her wine

"Well, I'm a senior, I'm originally from Lebanon, Kansas and I live in Reseda with my father, whom I'm very close to and my uncle lives in Reseda as well. They're both mechanics at the Reseda auto shop." Rebecca said

"And your mother?" Clark questioned

"Oh, she passed away last December." Rebecca said

"Oh I'm so sorry darling." Adaline said as she placed a motherly hand on Rebecca's. "I'm sorry as well." Clark said

After the waiter refilled their drink glasses, Clark asked, "What are your plans after school?"

"I would love to be an Art historian. UCLA has a great program for that. I love everything about art. I love studying it. I love the culture that it brings, the whole human experience, just wrapped up into one. Anger, sadness, love, passion, acceptance, history." Rebecca explained with a sparkle in her eyes, and Adaline was impressed to say the least

"You have such a remarkable goal." Adaline smiled

"Thank you Mrs. Brown." Rebecca said

"Please, call me Adaline." Adaline said as she placed a motherly hand on her shoulder. "And call me Clark." Clark said with a fatherly smile

Rebecca just smiled sweetly at the couple. They were definitely different from the other couples in The Country Club. They were poised and sophisticated yes, but they were relaxed, genuine, and down to earth.

Rebecca saw Ali walking in with her parents. The blonde looked uncomfortable to say the least, as they sat at a table with Johnny and his parents. She saw Ali rudely open the menu as Johnny tried to speak to her.

Thirty minutes had passed, they played waltzing music. Rebecca saw Ali dancing with her father. Clark stood up and held his hand out to Adaline which she took. They walked to the dance floor. Bobby stood up and held his hand out to Rebecca.

"Beautiful, would you like to dance?" Bobby asked

Rebecca smiled as she placed her hand in his and walked to the dance floor. Once they were on the dance floor, Bobby wrapped his arm around her lower waist. She placed her hand on his shoulder, and placed her other hand in his, interlacing their fingers. They swayed on the dance floor, resting their foreheads against one another's. Adaline and Clark could see the love Bobby felt for the girl.

Bobby and Rebecca danced happily. To both, time just stood still, as they swayed to the music. Nothing else mattered. He had been thinking about the future a lot. He didn't know what the future held, but all he knew, was he didn't want a future without Rebecca in it.

"Trouble with Johnny? You two love birds having problems?" Mr. Mills asked Ali.

Ali rolled her eyes before she replied, "Dad, we're not love birds. Hey what time is it?"

"Well, it's about 9:40." Mr. Mills said as he glanced at his watch.

"Um, I gotta go." Ali said

"You have a date?" Mr. Mills asked Ali. "Not that boy from Reseda." he said disapprovingly

"Yeah, he's from Reseda." Ali said, defending Daniel. "He's a nice guy. It's no big deal."

"Honey you've monopolized the best looking man here long enough." Mrs. Mills said to Ali as she swapped partners so Johnny was dancing with Ali

Bobby held Rebecca close to him. "Wonder how this is gonna go?" he asked quietly

Rebecca chuckled and shook her head, then quietly asked. "He's never going to stop, is he?"

"I would be the same way with you." Bobby said as he caressed her lower back

"Well you'll never have to find out. I'm not going anywhere." Rebecca smiled.

Bobby's heart leapt in his chest. Rebecca rested her forehead on his chin and he kissed her forehead, then she laid her head on his chest, just listening to his heartbeat. He had his chin on her head, as she was watched the interaction between her best friend and Johnny.

Johnny smiled at Ali and said, "Hi." Ali rolled her eyes in annoyance and mumbled, "Hi."

"Listen I've been thinking, maybe we can call a truce." Johnny said. "Yeah I'm not at war. Excuse me." Ali said, then tried to walk away.

"Could we please finish the dance?" Johnny asked as he tried to stop Ali from leaving

Ali rolled her eyes in irritation, but she didn't want to cause a scene, so she just continued dancing with Johnny anyway. Johnny didn't want to dance with Ali anymore than she wanted to dance with him. The girl he wanted to dance with, was dancing with his best friend.

You're a loser, and you're a shit head. That's why Rebecca chose Bobby over you. That's also why Ali doesn't want you anymore. You're a no good degenerate and lost cause. Those words of Sid resonated through Johnny's head as he turned his head and saw Bobby and Rebecca dancing happily, and even sharing a kiss. He felt his heart shatter, as he wanted to be the one to make her happy. Ali herself saw it in Johnny's eyes, she had figured it out after they pushed Daniel off a cliff, but she just didn't say anything. She knew, each cobra loved her, in their own special way. But Bobby loved her the most.

Not being able to stand anymore, he glanced over Ali's shoulder, and saw Daniel in the kitchen window. That's when he got an idea. Smirking, he brought Ali close, and forced a kiss on her. Ali pulled away from Johnny, shoved him back and screamed at him. "Don't you ever do that to me again!" Ali yelled as she shoved Johnny in the chest

Rebecca and Bobby broke apart from their own kiss, and glanced at Johnny and Ali, then back to each other. A loud crash came from the kitchen, and the kitchen door was wide open. Daniel and a waiter were sprawled amidst broken dishes and splattered spaghetti.

Bobby, Johnny, and everyone else in The Country Club, burst out laughing apart from Rebecca, Ali, Adaline and Clark who were not laughing instead, they gave Daniel a sympathetic look. Ali and Daniel locked eyes and he looked hurt.

Daniel scrambled up and ran out. Ali turned to Johnny who was smiling and triumphant, then punched him in the jaw with her right hand and ran after Daniel.

Rebecca rolled her eyes in annoyance. "Bobby, stop laughing."

"Sorry, Bec." Bobby said

"I'll be back." Rebecca said as she gave her boyfriend a gentle kiss

"All right." Bobby smiled

"You're such an asshole." Rebecca said to Johnny and then slapped him. "You just don't know when to stop do you?"

Outside, Rebecca found Ali, sitting on the bench, holding her wrist, tears in her eyes. Daniel had left, and Ali didn't get to explain.

Rebecca sat down beside her and placed a gentle hand on her shoulder. "Ali, are you all right?"

Ali embraced her best friend tight, and let her tears fall, she was really and truly hurt. "Becca, that was so humiliating."

"I'm so sorry hon." Rebecca said, then gently looked at her best friend's wrist. "Is your wrist all right?"

"It's fine." Ali said, shaking it off as it were nothing. "I want to explain to Daniel, that Johnny kissed me."

"I know." Rebecca said. "Don't worry, you'll get to explain. If it makes you feel any better, I slapped him then yelled at him."

Ali laughed, then her smile and laughter faded. "Well, I think I'm gonna catch a cab home. Call me later okay?"

"Okay. Be safe going home." Rebecca said as she embraced her best friend

"I will." Ali said as she embraced the brunette, then left the country club. Rebecca shook her head at the whole situation, sighed deeply and walked back into the country club.

"Rebecca, are you all right?" Clark asked.

"We saw Ali punch Johnny. Is she all right as well, and does she need a ride home?" Adaline asked

"I'm alright, and Ali is okay, her wrist is sprained. She took a cab home." Rebecca said

"Bec, are you alright?" Bobby asked

"I'm fine hon." Rebecca reassured. "But it's getting late, I should probably be getting home."

"Bobby will take you home honey. I'm so glad I finally got a chance meet you. You, your father, and uncle are welcome to come over anytime, my darling. I would love to show you our art collection." Adaline smiled as she embraced the brunette

"I enjoyed meeting you both as well, and I would love that, and I know they would love that as well." Rebecca smiled as she returned the blonde's embrace

"We mean it. Don't be a stranger." Clark said as he embraced the brunette, and Rebecca chuckled.

"Well, I think it went well." Bobby said as he wrapped his arm around her as he led her out of the country club.

"You mean Johnny and Ali, or meeting your parents?" Rebecca asked.

"Meeting mom and dad." Bobby said, as the valet arrived with his car

"Listen, I'm sorry I slapped Johnny, but I couldn't help it. He messed with my best friends again, when he said he would leave them alone." Rebecca said

"Hey, I'm not upset with you Bec." Bobby said as the valet brought his car around. "If anything, it was funny as hell how you slapped him."

Rebecca folded her arms over her chest, smirked and raised a brow at him. "Oh really?

"Really." Bobby said as he opened the car door for her.

"Kiss ass." Rebecca teased as she kissed his lips, then sat down, in the passenger seat.

"Only for you, babe." Bobby said as he closed the door.

After driving around for a little while, talking and listening to the radio, Bobby dropped Rebecca off at home and walked her up to the front door.

"I'm really sorry about tonight beautiful, I wanted it to be perfect." Bobby said as he wrapped his arms around her, and gently rested his forehead against her's.

"Hey, it was perfect, because I was with you." Rebecca reassured

Bobby smiled warmly at her, then leaned in to give her a sizzling kiss. "Good night. I love you."

"Goodnight, honey. I love you too." Rebecca smiled as she rested her hand on her boyfriend's cheek. After pulling away, she walked into the house, closed the door and smiled at him as the door was closing.

"So? How did it go?" Dean said

Rebecca smiled then walked to the couch to sit with her father. "Hey dad. So Bobby's parents are great. They're nothing like the people in Encino." she said

"I thought you liked Mr. and Mrs. Mills?" Dean said. "Are they nice to you when you sleepover at Ali's?"

"I do, and yes they're nice, but they're not as down to earth as Bobby's parents are." Rebecca said. "You'd really like them dad."

"I'd like to meet them." Dean said. "Anything else exciting happen?"

"Well, Daniel was supposed to meet Ali out front at 9:30 for their date to Golf N' Stuff. Well, somehow, he snuck in through the kitchen. Johnny was dancing with Ali and he decided he was going to mess with Daniel by kissing Ali. Dad, she got so pissed off that she clocked him, then I slapped him." Rebecca said

"Remind me not to piss you two off." Dean laughed. "But seriously, are you two all right?"

"I'm fine, Ali's wrist is sprained, but I think it will be okay." Rebecca said

The father and daughter conversed for a little while longer, until Rebecca grew tired. She walked upstairs to do her nightly routine. She got in bed and went to sleep. She couldn't help but worry about Ali and Daniel.
