↣ 𝘍𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘔𝘢𝘨𝘪𝘤

As they all gathered in the hideout, listening to Mal chastise them for everything, Rowan stood silently behind Jay.

"If you guys never would have brought him here, this never would have happened. What were you thinking and bringing Rowan as well!?" She scolded them.

"He was gonna come with or without us. We just wanted to protect him." Evie spoke as she defended their actions. Mal slowly softened at that.

"He was just worried about you Mal, I came because I was also worried." Rowan justified her own actions.

"Yeah, and we completely blew it, guys." Carlos responded, more disappointed than anything.

"Okay! Okay. So, what are we gonna do?" Jay inquired.

" "We" are not doing anything. This is between Uma and me. And she's a punk. And guess what? Now I have to go get him." She spoke as she started to walk towards the door.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa. Mal. You're still gonna have to go through Harry Hook and his wharf rats." Carlos's reasoned with her.

"Yeah, you're gonna need us." Jay nodded.

"Uma said to come alone." Mal said urgently.

"Mal, come on." Evie said softly, trying to be the now purple haired girl's attention.

"She said to come alone." Carlos said, sitting back down onto the couch. " I know one thing. I'm not going anywhere."

"We'll be here when you get back." Jay sighed, resting back against the post.

"Please be careful Mal." Rowan said, patting the girl on the shoulder. She nodded at the blonde haired girl.

The news was not favourable. Mal returned after an hour or so, appearing as though everything had collapsed around her. which, in essence, it did.

"There's no way we're gonna give Uma the wand- We can't just let her destroy Auradon." Evie says as she crossed her arms.

"Uma doesn't get the wand, then Ben is toast, guys." Carlos pointed out, making them all mumble.

"Right, so, we're gonna give Uma, of all people, the wand."

"Why does everyone want this wand for, their has to be something more magical then a wand?" Rowan asked out loud.

"Wait! You guys!" Mal light up with an idea as she turned to Carlos. "Your 3D printer."

"A phony wand?"

"And the second Uma tests it, she'll know it's fake." Evie brought up.

"Well, okay, so then we just get Ben out really fast. We need some kind of diversion."

"Smoke bombs!" Jay spoke up, speaking his idea.

"That's perfect. I'll get the chemicals I need from Lady Tremaine's place. That could work." Evie said, looking over at Mal's new hair. "Oh, and sick hair, by the way. Evil Stepmom seriously stepped up her game."

"Dizzy did this." Mal smiled, Evie gasped at her words.

"If she did your hair, she can do mine." Rowan laughed as she played with her hair.

When the guys caught their attention, they returned their concentration to the task at hand. "Carlos, Jay and Rowan you guys meet us at Pirates Bay no later than noon. And, you guys, losing-- not an option. Cause we're rotten..."

"To the core." Evie, Jay and Carlos repeated back.

By dusk, Rowan, Carlos, and Jay have returned to Auradon. They meet the boy in the hallway as they make their way directly to the boy's dorm. As Carlos is ready to enter the room, he picks him up.

Jay says, "Wait, why is your door open?" as he puts his arm in front of them both. Chad was slumped over the printer when the three of them burst into the room.

The prince turns back, looking guilty as Carlos huffs, "You've got to be kidding me."

"what is that?" Jay looks at the printer and gives a shake of his head.

"Oh! That is a small action figure of Chad. minus the head, that is." Chad says as he was proud of his invention.

Carlos nods, "Excuse me," moves Chad aside, and presses a few buttons on the printer.

From over Jay's shoulder, Chad gasps. "Why are you guys making Fairy Godmother's wand?"

"Uh, why are we making Fairy Godmother's wand?" Dude says, and everyone turns to stare at him expectantly.

"What?! Dude can talk?" chad exclaims.

"Don't tell anyone! Ben's life depends on it." Jay said, Rowan instantly thought of an idea to get Chad away.

"Chad, why don't you tell me everything about your plans to become king of your kingdom and replace your parents?" Rowan wrapped their arms around one other and grinned at him.

She moved in the direction of the door, then turned back to the boys, giving them a wink before closing it.

At last, Rowan lost Chad when he went to show someone his "action figure." She shook her head and turned to head back towards Carlos and Jay's room, when Lonnie appeared.

"Hello Lonnie, how are you doing?" She inquired lightly.

"I am aware of Ben." Lonnie said, crossing her arms.

Rowan smiled tightly at her. "You know, of course, but how did you find out?" Inquiring as to whether anyone else is aware.

"I want to come with you guys." According to Lonnie, she was carrying a duffle bag containing swords on her back.

"Obviously, you do, you'll need to clarify that with the boys." Knowing that Lonnie would be joining them in any case, Rowan grinned once again.

Lonnie and Rowan turned the corner and saw Jay and Carlos chatting to Doug from the school's limo, though they couldn't understand a word the boys were saying. Doug turned his back on the two VKs, walking away from them, the girls were walking towards them. The lads whirled around, startled when they saw the two girls.

"Lonnie has made the decision that she wants to con us." Rowan sighed slightly at her own words.

"What? Swords are not necessary at the waffle hut." When Jay laughs, Carlos and Rowan give him a quick glance.

"You're going to the Isle to rescue Ben. Look, it's either you take me or I'm gonna have to tell Fairy Godmother." As Lonnie informs them, Ronnie simply shrugged her shoulders and turned to head for the limo. Lonnie squeals and throws her arms over Jay and Carlos' shoulders, drawing the boys with her.

This is a bit of a fuller chapter and of course it has to be my longest chapter yet. But we will see Harry and Rowan again..soon
