↣ 𝘙𝘦𝘶𝘯𝘪𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘈𝘵 𝘓𝘢𝘴𝘵

It had been a week since Audrey and Mal's fight. Everyone was relieved that Hades had been able to save Audrey and avoid any problems in the interim.

Rowan was dressed in an outfit that Evie had lovingly created for her for Mal and Ben's engagement celebration. Her clothing was a light purple colour that hung down to her knees, adorned with flowers at the bottom.

Rowan watched with her parents as the king and new queen eventually made their way through the throng, greeting everyone as they went to the balcony, where they stopped to observe their subjects.

"Lady Mal and I wanna thank you for celebrating our engagement with us today." They all cheered and applauded Ben's remarks. He looked across at Mal, who was standing obediently beside him.

"I couldn't be prouder or happier to call you my queen. So... raise your glasses. To our future queen of Auradon." Everyone raised their glasses in response.

"Speech your special-ness" Carlos said in a fake posh voice.

"Speech, oh fancy one" Jay echoed

"I can't- I can't be queen of Auradon," the audience gasped. In a worried gaze, Ben questioned his fiancée something that Rowan was not quite able to hear. After a brief exchange between the couple, Mal turned back to address the assembly.

"We decided to permanently close the barrier. It's incorrect, even though it was my idea. I've discovered that fear is a useless emotion and that you cannot live in it." Mal laughed, tears welling up in her eyes. "You never know where the bad is gonna come from and you never know where the heroes are gonna come from either."

"without Uma and her pirates..." Mala's gaze lingered on Rowan for a little moment before she smiled and said, "Auradon would be gone. And without my dad, Hades. Audrey would be gone," the audience gasped once more. "No matter which side of the divide we are on, we are all capable of both good and evil."

Mal turned to face her partner. "And for that reason, I am unable to rule just Auradon. I must also reign supreme over the isle. And it's time for us to permanently remove the barrier."

Ben and Mal had a brief conversation with Ben's parents before Ben spoke.

"I decide to be a forward-thinking ruler. Let's extend forgiveness now. It's time to start over. The barrier will crumble!"

Mal motioned for her pals to join her on the balcony as everyone applauded the king and soon-to-be queen's decision. Eager to avoid drawing undue attention, Rowan stayed with her parents and the rest of the group.

Ben, Evie, Jay, and Carlos gathered around the fairy godmother, gazing out at the isle of the lost as she handed Mal the wand.

"To make the world a better place, We have to do it face to face" With a sudden burst of golden magic shooting towards the isle  from the wand, the barrier vanished, releasing everyone.

As soon as the bridge was complete, Rowan and a few others who were eager to greet their new neighbours from the Isle of the Lost, took out running. She could just pray that Harry was among the handful of people she could just about make out on the other side of the bridge, headed off the Isle and towards the mainland.

True enough, she noticed Uma's vivid turquoise hair as they got closer to the centre of the bridge, and Harry's towering, dark-haired form was standing next to her.

"Rowan." He sighed from his spot.

"Harry." She smiled.

Rowan pursued towards the boy as he rushed in her direction. While some embraced one another, they came together in the midst. Harry turned to face the blonde girl. "Rowan-I." The girl pulled him in by his leather jacket and let out a simple giggle. Slamming her lips into his. Harry smiled into the kiss, wrapped his arms around her waist, and pulled her in after a moment of disbelief.

They placed their foreheads on each other, then he pulled away. "That was unexpected, I must say." He remarks as she merely chuckles at him. He took her hand and she at last started to move away from him.

"I want you to meet some people." As she pulled him through the throng, she finally noticed her parents conversing with her fairy godmother. "Mum, dad, I want you to meet someone,"

"At your service, Harry Hook." Harry bowed in front of the royal couple and said. Eugene liked the pirate the moment he laid eyes on him. "It's a pleasure to meet you your highness,"

"He is my boyfriend." The pirate boy looked at her with a surprised expression.

"Hook as in son of the Captain Hook ." Eugene says, and the youngster with the black hair nods. "I knew that my daughter would follow in her mother's footsteps and go after criminals; before I met destiny, I was a great corona thief." Eugene adds, "Would there be a chance your dad might be here."

Harry turned to see his father standing there talking to the children, presumably giving them tales of his pirate exploits. "That would be him over there." Eugene approached the pirate head-on.

"It was nice meeting you, Harry, and I hope to see you around more often. I best follow him before he decides to join another pirate gang." Says Rapunzel as she approaches her husband.

Just as Harry was about to speak, both of them turned to see two girls running in his direction. "Harrit, C.J." He remarked, putting his arms around the two females, who hugged him right away.

One female bore a striking resemblance to Harry, while the other featured brown eyes and golden blonde hair. Rowan surmised that these were Harry's sisters. Harry turned to her and took her hand as the siblings withdrew. "This is my girlfriend, Rowan." Using the name they were now familiar with, he spoke.

"I'm glad to have met you as well." She smiled softly at the two females and murmured.

"We've heard a lot about you, your mother is wicked, she usually carries a fry pan around as a weapon." As she hugged the girl with blonde hair, CJ said excitedly.

"Have you visited Neverland?" Rowan nodded, grabbed the younger Hook by the arm.

"I believe you would adore getting to know this person." Grinning, Rowan took the girl to a boy who had the ability to fly. Harry and Harriet observed while they passed through the crowd.

"A princess then, huh?" Her younger brother merely scoffed and rolled his eyes as Harriet smiled at him. "Mother would have been pleased to see you grow and would be proud of you."

"We will see."

Author's notes

I can't have a Harry hook story without his family, I feel Captain Hook would just tell everybody about his adventures and Eugene Fitzherbert would love pirates and I won't hear anything of it.
