2.Babysitting these kids was our first Strange Date

Seo Yeon's Pov
I had the best possible view of the enormous pink-colored Ferris wheel as we both entered the amusement park. There were numerous rides, fantasy-themed zones, and a water park. Jungkook took hold of my hand and led me to a place where the lost children in the theme park were cared for. It was a sizable room packed with games, books, and toys. Lemon yellow paint and cartoons were used to decorate the wall.
As we were looking around, we heard a crying sound. "Look after these kids until their parents come to pick them up," Keira, the lost and found staff member, said.
"We will take care of them," I assured, smiling at her. We both squatted down to their level as the kids were sobbing hard.
"Don't cry. Always hold your parent's hands so that you won't get lost in a place where there are more people," I said, ruffling that little boy's hair.
"What's your name?" Jungkook asked.
"I am Sora, six years old."
"I am Jiho, eight years old."
"Don't cry. Your parents will come within a few minutes. We have informed them," he said, patting the boy's back.
"Then I won't cry, Oppa. You look handsome," Sora said.
"Me too, Hyung. Will I become handsome like you when I grow up?" Jiho asked in a squeaky voice.
"You look handsome even now."
Jiho giggled in happiness when Jungkook said that and wrapped his tiny hand around Jungkook's neck.
"Do I look prettier than Unnie?" Sora asked, pointing at me.
"You are prettier than her," Jungkook said, and Sora's face lit up with happiness.
"Jiho, you look more handsome than Jungkook," I told him.
"Don't lie, Noona, Jungkook Hyung is handsome. You cannot be friends with a liar, Hyung," he said, folding his hands.
I looked at that kid with wide eyes and asked, "Do I look like a liar?"
"Yes, you are."
"Is she your friend, Oppa?" Sora asked.
"She is my girlfriend," Jungkook replied to her. Her eyes welled up with tears, and she started sobbing again.
"I'm not his girlfriend. Don't cry. Jungkook doesn't like people who cry often," I said. She wiped her tears with the back of her hands. I patted her back and hugged her.
"We shall play some games," Jungkook suggested. I'm the one who needs to find them. I had my eyes covered by Jungkook before we began our game. When I heard Jiho and Sora laughing, I went in that direction. Then everything went silent, and nothing could be heard around me.
After that, I felt a hand push me to the ground, where I sat on the small, kid-sized wooden chair. When I tried to take off my blindfold, Jungkook grabbed my hand and wrapped it around his neck. I muttered, so neither of them could hear us, "Don't do something stupid. The kids are here."
"They won't bother us because they are both hiding behind the box. Let's play some adult games," he said, stroking my cheeks.
"Jungkook, stop it." I started to stutter, even though we had been together for a couple of years. It still tingles whenever he comes closer.
"Let's take a moment for ourselves, Seo Yeon. You look alluring with this blindfold. You're arousing me." As he said this, I felt the coldness of his piercings on my lips. His lips were smooth when he brushed against mine. He nibbled and sucked on my lower lip. I was on the verge of collapsing when he began to kiss me slowly and pulled me closer to him, making me feel flustered and dizzy.
He released my hand from his neck as I took off my blindfold. I looked around to see if anyone saw us, but no one was there. My heart was beating rapidly, and I turned around so that he could not see my reddened face. I took heavy breaths and settled myself. The kids were still hidden, which was a relief to me.
"Jungkook, I found you!" I shouted, looking at Jungkook. His lips were spread in a sly smile. Those two came sprinting toward me. We all played for a while and read some stories together. We were cracking up some jokes and laughing.
Sora was so reluctant to say goodbye to us. We both promised to visit her on any of the weekends when we were free. They both hugged us and pecked our cheeks before going back to their parents.
Keira appreciated how we handled the kids. While playing with the kids and Jungkook, I felt incredibly joyful. We had a lot of responsibilities as adults. Playing with them made me feel so relieved and took me back to my younger days when we were carefree.
"You liked it, right? I wasn't sure how you would feel about it. I planned this because I thought it was an unusual place to go on a date," he said, appearing edgy and unsure of whether I liked it or not.
Jungkook's pov
"I loved today's date, Jungkook, and I feel happy that I got to spend time with you. I forgot about all the troubles while playing with those kids, but you shouldn't have kissed me. What if they saw us?" she said, smiling faintly and fiddling with her dress. Her gaze was down, and her cheeks turned red.
I took a bite of her cotton candy. "This cotton candy is more delicious than mine," I said as she nudged my shoulders.
"Don't you dare to eat mine again? Stop being flirty. There are people around us," she threatened me.
We settled on a wooden bench, relishing the pastel pink airy cotton candy that melted on my tongue with a blast of sugary sweetness. She resembles cotton candy, melting me with her sweet and caring words. I felt happier seeing her smile with her eyes crinkled. We both watched the children around us blow bubbles with wands. The bubbles wafted through the air, popping with a gentle sound that took me back to years ago when I first saw her. That day, I turned around after hearing a metallic thud that resonated through the office break room. I found her kicking the vending machine, looking frustrated.
I approached her and asked, "Do you need help?"
She looked up at me with a flushed face and avoided my gaze. "I'm sorry if the noise bothered you. I think the vending machine is having trouble dispensing my drink. I got so annoyed that I kicked it. I was hungry," she explained, fleeting glances at me.
"You can have this sandwich. I have got an extra." I offered, holding out a neatly wrapped sandwich I had.
"Thank you," she said, accepting the sandwich. This incident sparked the beginning of our friendship, as we ended up chatting for a while.
"Jungkook, what are you thinking about?" Seo Yeon asked, breaking the silence and pulling me back from my thoughts.
"I was just recalling our first encounter," I said, biting the cotton candy.
"I felt embarrassed about kicking the machine that day, but looking back, it's kind of funny. I'm glad we met that day," she said.
"Are you ready for our next date?" I asked. She nodded her head and cuddled me.
