Hearing a click, that signalled you that she has ended the call and exhaling a low sigh and looks at the expressions that they are wearing after hearing your conversation between the one at the end of the line.

"Stop staring at me like that. Wants me to gouge your eyes out? I don't mind doing it."You hissed lowly, earning a furious shook from the humans though Hanako remained clinging onto your body, acting like he was stick with you with the help of strong glue.

"Couldn't I greet her like any old friends do?"You hummed softly and throwing your gaze upwards to the stairs that could be mistaken as endless due to not seeing the top of it.

As you expected, your words caught the attention of Kou and Yashiro who are now instantly having their attention fully on your words. What a naïve child, indeed.

"It's a Yorishiro."Yashiro corrected him and he nodded his head eagerly once again.

"Yeah, Yorishiro! Where is that?!!"

"In the innermost reaches of this boundary which means—; The farthest place in this world. We suspect that it would be the top."Hanako grinned cheekily while Kou and Nene exchanged a glance in confusion which the two supernaturals amused at.

"Where?"Kou asked which you giggled at their gullible faces. So unsophisticated, aren't ya?

"You lifted your index finger slowly while the mortals followed to where you pointed at and craning their heads to look up with color instantaneously drained from their faces, leaving them all white once their eyes settled on the stairway with their mind processing your next word and how you said with a quite optimistic radiating from your smile with the hope to cheer them up.

"So who's excited to climb some stairs?!"Hanako cheered in a frolicsome manner, pumping his fist in their air with positive energy emanating from him.

That gentle yet angelic tone of your voice, they did gain some positive energy and puffed with a new determination flashed in their eyes, making eye contact with that glistening orbs of yours without any second thought.

Until they caught a glimpse of pity flickering in those [ color ] hues and as if they could read what you are currently thinking.
